The Doctor wasn't overly fond of Quidditch but the AE had dragged her here and the twins were playing so she had to make an appearance. She may not have liked the sport but she did enjoy the twins' company.

At first, it seemed like a pretty ordinary match. The commentator the twins's friend - Lee Jordan - was obviously bias but no one could deny that he was funny. It turned out though that he was the boy who had smuggled in the tarantula and scared Leo to death. The AE had forgiven him though because it seemed not-new Carrionites didn't have a lot of common sense or much knowledge about phobias.

Besides, Kevin argued it wasn't like the boy had known about Leo's phobia. He hadn't targeted him or anything - the tarantula had simply escaped.

It was all going perfectly fine until Harry Potter's broomstick jerked suddenly. At first they had thought that he was just a bit nervous - aka not in total control of himself but the audience soon realised Harry Potter's broom was out of control.

"What do we do!"

"We need a way for him to get down! A ladder? How would we make one? Wait - what's it called? A pole you slide down!" The Doctor mumbled.

"A fireman's pole?"

"Yes fine, whatever. Pass me that big flag!" she ordered.

The second and third years around them were soon convinced to enlarge the pole. When it seemed big enough, they passed it to the Weasley twins and Oliver Wood who planted firmly in the ground and flew around to support it.

Thankfully, Harry Potter seemed to realise it was that or death and did indeed know what to do. He jumped off his broom mid air and managed to catch the pole automatically bear hugging it.

Meanwhile, the teacher's were trying to figure out what curse was affecting the broom. It felt like they had missed something because when they looked next, Harry Potter was safely on the ground trying to cough out the snitch. A few metres away, a huge pole was planted in the ground.

The Doctor's second experience with Quidditch wasn't nearly as dramatic as the first. Or at least she thought so. Justin clearly disagreed. He was gutted that Hufflepuff had lost but seemed happy about the way they did.

"He caught the snitch in five minutes!" he exclaimed "At least we lost to a star! Do you know how good that is? And, it's only his second match!" They had made it all the way to their common rooms from the Quidditch Stands when Justin was finished.

The Doctor tried to pay attention - she really did! - but her newest thoughts about Transfiguration totally distracted her.

"She's completely ignoring me isn't she?" Justin asked.

"Yes" she replied before she realised it.

"Hermione!" Justin chided. She blinked obliviously and looked at him. "Juusstiinnn" she drawled.

That started the war of "HERMIONE!" "JUSTIN!".

Anne joined in enthusiastically.
