One night on deck with the girls

"Okay Marisol daddy is coming" Merrill says as he got up out of bed and he went to her bassinet

Merrill picked her up and held her

"You were fast asleep a little bit ago did something wake up huh sweet girl?" he asks as he rubbed her back

Merrill went to see if she needed a new diaper and she was a little damp, but she still wasn't happy

"I know it's not time for your feeding little one, so my other guess is that something woke up right up from your slumber and you want daddy Merrill to make it all better for you is that what you want?" he asks her as he rubbed her back to help soothe her

Marisol started calming down a little bit, but she still was not a happy girl

"I guess a little walk on deck might help you sleep a little bit" he says as he was going to get his housecoat and head out on deck with Marisol

(Gopher & Julie's cabin)

"Okay Gretel daddy's coming daddy's coming" Gopher says as he got out of bed

Gopher put on his housecoat as well and he picked her up

"Did something scare daddy's girl huh?" he asks as he held her close to make it all better

Gopher changed her diaper and she was quite upset

"Oh, you are getting another tooth princess, so that woke you right up" he says as he saw the pointy thing sticking up in her mouth

Gopher put some gel in her mouth and that helped but not that much

"I think you had a bad dream come let's head out on deck and we can walk maybe the night air will calm you back down and go to sleep" he says as he was leaving the room

Before he left the room with her, he grabbed a blanket for her, so she was warm

(Deck)

"I take it Gretel had a nightmare too?" Merrill asks Gopher when he saw him come out with Gretel in his arms

"Yeah, and she is cutting another tooth, so I guess we are cuddling a lot more in the coming days" Gopher says as he bundled Gretel up

"Poor thing" Merrill says as he looks at Gretel who was hiding from the Captain

"Marisol too?" Gopher asks as they continued to walk

"Tooth no not yet thank goodness, but nightmare yes sadly" Merrill says as they continued to head to the Lindo deck where the pool was

"It must have been a really bad nightmare" Gopher says as he looks at Marisol who was sucking her thumb a little bit

"It was I hate to see her or Vicki have these kinds of dreams, and it scares them I remember when Vicki came on board she started to adjust to her new place, but at night she had nightmares that scared her, so I would bring her out here in her robe and I would have my robe on of course, and we would walk the deck together hoping it would calm her down, and she goes back to sleep, and sometimes she would really miss her mom, and she would want to cuddle with me, so we would put two chairs together and I would cuddle her, and tell her that her mom is always watching over her. I would try to point out which star her mom was, and that helped her a lot" Merrill says to Gopher

"Speaking of Vicki here she comes now, and it looked like she had a bad dream" Gopher says as he looks at her

"Looks like that one woke her right up" Merrill says as Gopher went in to get blankets cause it looked like the dads were going to sleep on deck with their girls that night

Merrill started to put two chairs together so Vicki could still cuddle with her dad

"Vicki come here and lay next to me cause Marisol had a bad dream too, and don't worry your father always has room for his two favorite girls" he says as he opened his other arms for Vicki

Gopher brought out blankets for all and since the Captain had his hands full with his two girls

"Thanks Gopher" Merrill says as he cuddled with Vicki and Marisol

"Don't mention it Merrill I know I will have many nights with Gretel and maybe our other kids if Julie and me, expand the family later on after we are married, I know I am going to enjoy every moment I can while they are little" Gopher says as he rubs Gretel's back as she was going to go back to sleep on her daddy

"You will I already loved the nights where it is just me and my girls, or just one of them" Merrill says as he looked at his girls who were slowly going back to sleep cause they heard the heartbeat of their dad

"I hope it's just Gretel for now cause she loved cuddling with me when she was sick, or she is getting a tooth, or night terrors" Gopher says as he covers him and Gretel up for the night

Pretty soon both dads and all three of the girls were out like lights, and sounds of the waves could be heard helping the girls sleep peacefully next to their father's

(Next morning)

Julie woke up and she saw both Gopher and Gretel were gone, and she was worried she stormed out of the cabin to search for them and she saw a sight that made her melt

"I am going to see if I can have breakfast brought up for them" Isaac says as he was going to see about breakfast for the Captain, Gopher, and for Vicki as well

"Good idea" Doc says as he stood out watching the Captain, Gopher, Vicki and the babies sleep

"Poor Gretel she must have had a nightmare, and Gopher took her out on deck to see if that calms her down, and it looked like it worked" Julie says as she yawns

"Come Julie I'll take you to bed and I can have breakfast brought up to your cabin as well" Doc says as he was going to help her to bed
