Mama Yang-12
It was the middle of the day, the day after Athena confessed everything to Yang, Blake, Penny, and Professor Polendina. Blake, currently was looking through her old journal she had several sketches in. One sketch was of a particular man from behind, she held her attention on that one, until Yang brought her out of her thoughts.
Needless to say though, when the rest of Team RWBY and JNPR found out her what had happened to her, the first thing Nora and Ruby did, were see if she could purr. She ended up with a face redder than the main part of her hair after that.
"Whatcha doing?" Yang asked with a smile.
"Nothing, just going over some notes from last semester." Blake exclaimed closing the book.
Yang motioned her head to the side fast, catching a grape that was flung at her from the other table by Nora.
"Lame." Yang exclaimed chewing the grape.
"What's up with Athena?" Weiss asked noticing the young girl was lying her head on the table.
"She pulled an all-nighter writing her report for Professor Polendina and finished, sending it in an hour ago."
Nora flung another grape at Yang and again, the blonde boxer caught it, giving Nora a thumbs up before Ruby dropped a white binder onto the table.
"The square of hypotenuse gate is Y-over-X…" Athena said, jolting awake.
"What exactly was that report about?" Weiss questioned.
"Quantum Physics Cold Fusion regarding the Arc Reactor Penny made with her blueprints." Yang said. "Seems she's still in science mode."
"Friends. Sister. Niece. Weiss." Ruby began.
"Hey." Weiss exclaimed sounding offended.
"For score and seven minutes ago I had a dream." Ruby exclaimed putting a hand on her shoulder.
"This ought to be good." Yang sighed before catching a cherry in her mouth that Nora flung at her.
"A dream that one day, the five of us would come together, as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had ever!" Ruby continued.
"Did you steal my binder?" Weiss asked ignoring Ruby's speech.
"I am not a crook." Ruby said holding up peace signs.
"What exactly are you blabbing on about?" Weiss asked.
"I'm talking about kicking off the semester with a bang." Ruby smiled holding a thumbs up.
"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang." The blonde brawler punned. In response, Yang received an apple to the head and a, boo from Nora.
"Look guy's, it's been a good two weeks since the dock incident, and between more exchange students arriving and the tournament at the end of the year, our second semester is going to be great." Ruby exclaimed. "Classes start back up tomorrow, and we still haven't had as much fun as we'd hoped for on this break."
"I don't know of whether to be proud, or scared for what you have in store." Weiss exclaimed as Yang threw a different apple back at Nora.
"I don't know. I think I might sit this one out." Blake sighed as Athena noticed what was starting to brew up in the cafeteria, grabbing Saffron from her lap, and scooting off the bench of the table, before going to Ruby/Weiss's binder and looking through it.
"Let's see what number is it?" Athena questioned, reading through it. "Ah, here it is, food fight, number 75 on the list."
"Sit out or not, I think however we spend this last day, we should do it as a team." Weiss said.
"I got it." Nora mumbled to Ren as she threw a pie as Weiss stood up.
"I for one think that-" Weiss was cut off from a pie hitting her in the face.
The rest of Team's RWBY looked over at Team JNPR to see Ren, Pyrrha, and Jaune in the three monkey's pose.
Ren was the See no Evil monkey. Pyrrha was the Speak no Evil monkey. Jaune was the Hear no Evil monkey, while Nora pointed the blame to her partner Ren.
"Why you…" Weiss exclaimed.
"C'mon Saffron, this should be good." Athena smiled, moving to one corner of the food court, planning on enjoying the show, while she ate a bowl of hash browns.
~Outside the Food Hall~
"Then the kid went all Sonic the Hedgehog pinball on the guy, and was kicking his ass." Sun explained to his companion. "You had to have been there to see it Neptune, it was so awesome."
"Nice man."
"An' get this, Blake is a Faunus. But don't tell anyone about that it's supposed to be a secret. Like a secret, secret." Sun exclaimed.
"Got it."
"An' not the, I'm gonna go tell Scarlet as soon as Sun turns his back secret. I mean classified, government type secret." Sun exclaimed.
"Dude, relax I got it." Neptune said.
"I just don't wanna screw this up you know? The people here are the coolest. No offense." Sun stated as they passed by a window, ignoring the fact Jaune slammed into it.
"None taken." Neptune said nonchalantly.
"Okay they're just in here. Get ready to be amazed my friend." Sun smiled.
The two entered the mess hall as everyone else ran out of there, like the black plague was spreading.
"Food Fight…" Several students shouted as they ran past Sun and Neptune.
Sun had a big goofy grin on his face, while Neptune was more focused on the crowd running past them.
Neptune turned his gaze towards the end of the mess hall, and his eyes widened in what he saw.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…" Nora laughed evilly. "I'm queen of the castle, I'm queen of the castle." She chanted as she stood atop a towering stack of tables with several vending machines in front.
Pyrrha and Ren were on the middle right and left sides of the 'castle' while Jaune was on the bottom left standing by one of the vending machines, with a large line of tables between them and Team RWBY, and Team JNPR. Athena was just chilling in one of the corners, sitting between the grown Saffron's legs, looking ready to doze off at any minute.
Ruby stomped her leg on the table in front of her while holding a carton of milk.
"Justice will be swift, justice will be painful, it will be delicious…" Ruby shouted crushing the carton of milk and pumping her fist as the rest of her team joined her.
"Off with their heads." Nora exclaimed jumping down in front of a table of watermelons.
(Cue Music… We Will Rock You: Five-Feat. Queen)
Ren ran towards a tray of melons and flipped over its length, before stomping on the edge of the tray, allowing the three melons to jump up in the air before he kicked them at the enemy, which currently was Team RWBY. Jaune flipped over, grabbing one before he landed on his feet and used the momentum to send the melon flying. Pyrrha threw two melons soaring through the air, and Nora used her immense strength to send the entire table's worth of watermelons flying towards Team RWBY as the table flipped forward.
Yang used a couple of cooked turkeys like her Ember Celica's. She smashed several by punching them with her turkey-fists. Athena reached out her hands and caught a whole half of one of the watermelons pieces flying towards her and bit into the red juicy part.
After Yang finished off the first barrage, Blake jumped over her and grabbed to loaves of French bread, and used them like her Gambol Shroud to destroy two more, before Yang kicked one that was about to hit her face.
Yang sent her Turkey Celica flying and one of them hit Jaune in the face as Pyrrha dodged before the other hit him in the stomach, effectively knocking him back.
Pyrrha grabbed her own loaf of French bread, and used it like her usual weapon as Blake attacked her. Pyrrha swung down her loaf of bread, just as Blake used her two loaves to block the attack.
Pyrrha swung around, trying to strike Blake, only for the attack to hit a shadow clone and Blake to leap over her, producing another shadow clone that Pyrrha struck, before Blake leapt up and threw one of her loaves at the redhead like a boomerang, before it struck the ground and broke in two as Pyrrha moved back to avoid the bready attack.
Pyrrha lunged forward and struck Blake right before she landed. Breaking her their final loaf of bread as she sent Blake flying down the lane of tables.
Pyrrha took Blake's undamaged loaf of bread and threw it like a javelin. She grabbed a few more loaves of bread and repeated the throw, each one destroyed by Yang until she was hit in the torso by a single loaf, being knocked back.
Ruby jumped up and used a tray to table surf as to try and avoid the attacks. She jumped up and flipped over an attack with the tray in her hand before she used it to deflect a loaf of French bread Pyrrha threw at her, and sent it back to her attacker.
Pyrrha dodged the attack as Ruby landed and continued to table surf with her tray until she used the momentum to send the tray at Pyrrha, whom blocked it with her arms, but was sent back when Ruby kicked off the tray, the force causing Pyrrha to be knocked down.
"Go Aunt Ruby." Athena cheered. "Go Team RWBY."
Ren and Nora came running for Ruby, but they were shocked as Ruby jumped out of the way, and Weiss was standing there, and slammed a bottle of ketchup into the ground, like she would her rapier and squirted the red vinegary liquid towards both Nora and Ren, causing the black haired pink banged man to slip and slid towards a barricade of tables, trays, benches, and assorted foods. Nora kept running and ran atop the debri like a warrior in a zero gravity warzone. Ren was somehow launched back to his teams area along with some of the tables and such as Nora raced through them until she jumped at a flag pole and performs a few alley-oops before she breaks it off and sticks one end into another watermelon and uses it like her war hammer.
She was about to slam it down on Weiss, but Ruby rushed in and tried to block it, before she realized too late that Nora aimed for the ground in front of her, and sent her flying while Weiss rolled out of the way.
The Schnee heiress grabbed a swordfish and used it just like her rapier. She sent herself towards Nora and jabbed, sending the girl flying back before she flipped back and landed on her feet, instantly jumping forwards and fighting Weiss one on one before she used her Melon Hammer to send Weiss into one of the pillars, destroying it, and rendering the girl unconscious.
Ruby saw Weiss was about to be crushed by the falling stones as she kept falling. Ruby used her speed to grab Weiss and land a safe distance from her.
"Weiss, Weiss don't leave me. NOOOOOOOOO!" Ruby cried as the pillar came crashing down.
Yang went running past her 'weeping' sister and leapt through some of the wreckage, rolling forward and using another two Turkey Celica's as she ran for Nora.
Ren intervened, grabbing two green onion stalks. He crossed them as Yang kicked forward, making Athena raise an eyebrow.
"Pig." Athena exclaimed, seeing he had an angle to look up Yang's skirt.
Yang quickly switched to her other foot as she performed a roundhouse kicked. Ren dodged the attack and went on the defensive. Quickly kneeing her, then elbowing her, before using the onion stalks to block her own elbow to the face, but the stalks weren't enough to block a punch as Yang slammed her turkey fist into his face.
Ren didn't give in and kept blocking, dodging and sending in his own attacks. Hitting her several times with the stalks of onions, but barely doing any damage.
Yang slammed her fist in a left hook and elbowed the back of his head before she slammed her fist into it, and then uppercut him, and sent him flying in the air before he flipped back and threw the stalks at her.
The buxom blonde boxer easily dodged the attacks by jumping up to his level and slamming a turkey covered fist, down on him, sending him crashing down on to the ground, creating a semi large shockwave.
As Yang landed, she instantly jumped back, avoiding a swinging Melon Hammer from Nora, as she continued her assault. Nora swung her fruit weapon above her head before slamming it down in front of Yang. The blonde fighter jumped back and cocked back her right Turkey Celica as she and Nora went for a head on collision, before Nora sent her flying through the ceiling, destroying her home made melon hammer.
"Don't forget to write." Athena called out, waving to the hole in the ceiling.
Blake flipped out of the way, avoiding the falling pieces of the ceiling. As she used her hands to push herself back more, she grabbed a sausage link and used it like the ribbon sickle portion of her Gambol Shroud.
Blake used the link of meat as a whip and sent Nora flying into one of the vending machines.
Nora picked herself up as all the cans went flying everywhere. Athena managed to grab several cans of soda and opened one of them up, enjoying the fizzy carbonated drink as she watched Nora throw a couple of the soft drinks like grenades.
One can landed at Blake's feet right as she did a triple back flip avoiding the sugary drink from hitting her.
"Saffron wrap your wings around me and hold tight to the ground." Athena exclaimed before the Grimm wrapped her arms around Athena, with her head poking out, and her claws digging into the ground.
Nora threw two more cans like grenades, missing Blake both times. Pyrrha came back to her senses, and used her semblance to control the metal of the cans. She sent them all flying towards Blake, as she continued to evade them, but didn't evade them all.
A few managed to hit her on her legs, her arms, and her torso, staining her uniform before Pyrrha used her semblance to control all the cans and send Blake flying through the air as well as being constantly hit with the flying cans of soda.
Ruby saw this and took a runners stance.
"Hold on." Athena smiled as she recognized the stance Ruby took for the move she's been practicing.
Ruby went running forward, using her semblance. She created a huge uproar of wind as it dragged along behind her, pulling anything or anyone that wasn't bolted or tied down, with it. As Ruby ran, she jumped into the air and became nothing but a spinning drill head with her cloak concealing her entirely.
Ruby raced past Team JNPR and the uproar grabbed them as it came through. The leader of Team RWBY stopped right before she hit the wall, the force of her stopping created an impact and a spider-web of destroyed stone on the wall. She allowed Team JNPR to hit the wall behind her before she jumped to the ceiling, and grabbed onto one of the support beams, avoiding the large and copious amounts of drinks, foods, and other items that ended up hitting the wall. When the dust settled down, there was no sign of Team JNPR on the wall of mixed colors until each member peeled off due to the laws of physics taking effect, leaving four human shaped patches of gray among the throng of colors.

"I love these guys." Sun smiled, turning to look at Neptune, who was covered in soda, juice, food, and gravy.
The door burst open as in marched an irate Gajeel and Glynda making their way into the mess hall, with displeased looks on their faces. Without saying a word, Glynda used her Semblance to reverse all the damage that had been done by the food war. Once the final table was in place, she wiped her crop to the side.
"Children, please. Do not play with your food." Glynda exclaimed pushing her glasses up to Teams RWBY and JNPR as they once again sat across from one another.
Nora let out a loud unladylike belch, gaining everyone's attention, before Yang fell back through the ceiling and destroying one of the tables.
"Mom." Athena groaned.
"Everyone involved in the food war, my office, now." Gajeel called out.
~The Following Morning~
The day was bright and the sky was clear, or it would have been, had it not been for a certain General's fleet flying outside.
"Ironwood certainly loves bringing his work with him wherever he travels." Glynda sighed in annoyance.
"Well, running an academy and a military makes him a very busy man." Ozpin exclaimed. "But yes, all his airships, and other military vehicles flying outside our windows are a bit of an eyesore." He said before he received a transmission from the elevator. "Come in." Ozpin stated.
The elevator opened up for Ironwood to step through, alone without Winter.
"Ozpin." Ironwood greets.
"Hello General." Ozpin says.
"Please drop the formalities, it's been too long, and Glynda, it's certainly been too long since we last met." Ironwood said as Glynda approached him.
"Oh James…" Glynda exasperated faking a fawning over him. "I'll be outside." She told Ozpin before she walked away.
"Well she hasn't changed a bit." Ironwood said.
"So, what in the world has brought you all the way down from Atlas this time?" Ozpin inquired as he began to pour some coffee. "Headmasters don't typically travel with their students for the Vytal Festival." Ozpin exclaimed handing Ironwood a mug.
"Well you know how much I love Vail this time of year." Ironwood exclaimed pouring some whisky in his coffee. "Besides with you hosting, I thought this might be a good opportunity for us to, catch up."
"I can certainly appreciate quality time between friends. However, the small fleet outside my window has me somewhat concerned." Ozpin exclaimed.
"Well, concern is what brought them here."
"I understand traveling between kingdoms has become increasingly difficult." Ozpin stated.
"Oz… You and I both know why I brought those men." Ironwood exclaimed.
Ozpin took a sip of his coffee with a sigh as he lowered his mug. "No offence James, but we are in a time of peace, shows of power like this will only scare the people. Not to mention give the wrong impression." Ozpin added.
"But if what Qrow said is true, then-"
"If what Qrow said is true, then we will handle it tactfully." Ozpin said. "It's the Vytal Festival; a time to celebrate unity and peace. So I suggest you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent."
"I'm just being cautious." Ironwood said bluntly.
"As am I, which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can." Ozpin sighed.
"Believe me, I am." Ironwood exclaimed as he turned to leave. "But ask yourself. Do you really believe your children, can win a war?" Ironwood questioned before he left.
"I hope they never have to." Ozpin sighed.
~Library the following Weekend~
In the library, the next weekend, Team RWBY was playing Conquering Remnant, Team JNPR was studying, well Jaune was reading a comic book, and Athena was doing their own thing, while watching Team RWBY play. They'd served their week of detention from the food war they started, and were now just relaxing.
"Hmmmm… Alright! Hmmmm… Alright… Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle." Ruby announced pointing at her sister across the table.
"Bring it on." Yang cheered.
"I deploy, the Atlesian Air Fleet." Ruby announced.
Yang did a fake gasp.
"Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly." Ruby smirked evilly.
"GASP… You fiend." Yang stated.
"Since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time only lasts… one turn." Ruby smirked before Yang laughed a bit.
"Pretty sneaky sis, but you just activated my trap card." Yang stated showing a card. "Giant Nevermore. If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two."
"But if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces." Ruby stated, clinging to any hope of winning.
"That's just a chance I'm willing to take." Yang stated, casting the die and rolling a perfect ten.
"No!" Ruby cried. "Athena, help me."
"Sorry Aunt Ruby, you're on your own with this one." Athena exclaimed.
"Well Weiss, it's your turn!"
"I have… absolutely no idea what's going on." Weiss stated.
"Look it's easy. You're playing a Vacuo, which means all Vacuo based cards come with a bonus." Athena explained looking at Weiss's cards.
"That sounds dumb." Weiss simply said.
"See you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge, oh, looks like you've got Resourceful Raider. Now you can take Aunt Ruby's discarded air fleet-"
"No!" Ruby wined.
"-and put it in your hand!" Athena finished.
"Okay…?"
"Since Vacuo warriors have an endurance boost against natural hazards, you could use Sandstorm to disable mom's ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate her kingdom." Athena added.
"Just know, that I will not forget this declaration of war." Yang stated pointing a finger at them. "Betrayed by my own daughter, oh how cruel area thou fate?"
"And that means?" Weiss asked.
"It means you're only three moves away from Conquering Remnant!" Ruby sobbed.
At the realization, Weiss laughed evilly and the scene behind her became a burning background, with Natsu as a shadow demon with horns and glowing red eyes.
"Yes! Fear the all mighty power of my forces." Weiss snickered. "Cower as they pillage your homes, and weep as they take your children, from your very arms-!"
"Trap card." Yang simply stated, showing the card, before changing up the board. "Your armies have been destroyed." Yang smirked.
"Since mom won against Aunt Ruby, she was able to use the Giant Nevermore attack again, because she rolled a ten when she did." Athena sighed as Weiss sat down with comical tears running down her face.
"I hate this game of emotions we play!" Weiss wined.
"Stay strong Weiss, we'll make it through this together." Ruby wined as she hopped in her lap and hugged her.
"Shut up! Don't touch me." Weiss cries.
"Yet she says that while hugging Aunt Ruby back." Athena sighed.
"Alright Blake, you're up." Yang smiles.
"Huh?" Blake asked. "Oh! Um… sorry what am I doing?"
"You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the kingdoms of Remnant." Yang explained.
"Right…" Blake stated.
"Hey, can I play?" Jaune asked interrupting the game standing next to Athena and Weiss.
"Sorry Jaune, we've already got four people." Ruby stated.
"But there's five of you." Jaune stated pointing to Athena.
"She's just helping out the newbs to this game." Yang smirked.
"Besides this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning, that I seriously doubt you possess." Weiss stated.
"Uhh… you attacked your own naval fleet two turns ago." Athena countered, causing Weiss to groan in both annoyance and embarrassment.
"Bring it on Ice-Queen. I'll have you know that I'm a natural born leader." Jaune stated proudly, bringing the subject back on track.
"By who, your mother?" Weiss asked.
"And Pyrrha!" Jaune said.
"Hello again." Pyrrha smiled.
'Pyrrha is just way to nice. Why can't Jaune see that she likes him?' Athena questioned seeing the chemistry between the two.
"C'mon let me play your hand for a turn." Jaune pleaded with Weiss.
"I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo." Weiss stated.
"Why not? You trusted me with the fact Blake's a Faunus."
"Everyone knows she's a Faunus. She stopped wearing the ribbon on her ears ever since Athena grew her own to set an example for her." Yang said, as Athena wiggled her ears.
"Fair point." Jaune said.
"If you can win against Athena, then we might let you play." Ruby exclaimed.
"Win against her? She's just a kid?"
"A kid who got a 110%, on the Quantum Physics Cold Fusion Report, Professor Polendina assigned her to write as punishment for using his equipment without permission." Blake said, holding up the graded and marked binder with the fifty page thesis on Dust Powered Cold Fusion. "She's smart for her age. Like scary smart."
"How do you know so much about Quantum Physics? I'm have a hard enough time with regular physics." Jaune questioned, looking at Athena.
"Penny's good at teaching. She taught me Quantum Physics through diagrams and illustrations I understood during the training week Grandma Summer put Team RWBY through." Athena exclaimed. "If I'd gotten lower than a 95%, he'd make me do it again, but this time with 100 pages. So I aimed to over achieve in the report."
"Fine I guess it will be quite the challenge to beat you." Jaune said.
"Sup losers?"
The group all turned to see Sun standing behind Blake to her right, holding up a peace sign.
"Hey Sun." Ruby said.
"Ruby, Yang, Tiny Terror, Blake, Ice-Queen." Sun said.
"Why does everyone keep calling me that?" Weiss questioned.
"Where'd Tiny Terror come from?" Athena asked.
"I never got a chance to introduce you to my old friend." Sun said.
"Uh, aren't libraries for reading?"
"Thank you." Ren called out.
"*Snort* Pancakes." Nora said, jolting awake.
"Shut up don't be a nerd." Sun said.
"Ge-ge-ge-ge-ge, intellectual okay? Thank you." Neptune exclaimed. "I'm Neptune."
"So Neptune. Where are you from?" Weiss asked.
'Is she… flirting with him?' Yang questioned, catching the tone Weiss used.
"Haven, and I don't believe I've caught your name, Snow Dragoness."
'It's clear he's flirting with her. But seeing how she's an Ice Dragon Faunus now, I guess that's the best he could come up with.' Yang sighed.
"Um… I'm Weiss."
"Pleasure to meet you." Neptune said, before jumping back, as Athena kicked him in the leg. "Hey, what was that for you little gremlin?"
"I know about people like you." Athena said. "Players. They flirt with girls, use them, take them for all they have, and then leave them in the dust with a baby to raise on their own, while going for the next pretty or hot girl that catches your eye. So you stay away from Weiss you dummy."
"What is your problem you little brat?" Neptune questioned as Yang got up from her seat.
"Come with me blue boy. We need to have a little chat." Yang said dragging Neptune away by his jacket.
"What is this about?" Neptune questioned after Yang pulled him far enough away from the group.
"Athena's had loads of experience in different villages, seen some very nasty things, and seen how other people behave. So if she says she knows about players, then it's because she's seen plenty of them in action. I've seen my fair share to, and you definitely reek of player. So if you're wanting to form a genuine relationship with Weiss, then give it a try. But if you so much as hurt her, or do something to make her depressed, I swear you will know what it's like to feel the wrath of a Queen Dragon, protecting her Horde, got it?"
"Y-yes ma'am." Neptune said. "Quick question though. What do you mean by horde?"
"It's what a flock or herd of dragons is commonly referred to as." Yang explained. "We Dragons protect our own. So you'd better not hurt her, understand, we clear?"
"Clear as crystal." Neptune said.
"Good boy." Yang smiled, before walking back to where everyone was.
"I never took you for the board game playing type." Sun said, starting up a conversation with Yang.
"Right, well… I think I'm done playing actually." Blake said, getting up from her seat. "I'll see you guys later."
"Athena, why don't you go with Mama and keep her company?" Yang suggested.
"Right." Athena said getting up from her seat, and going to follow Blake, back to the dorm three of the five members of Team RWBY shared. "Mama, you doing okay?" Athena asked, crawling up onto the bed beside Blake.
"Yeah kitten, I'm doing fine." Blake said, pulling Athena in for an embrace. "Mama just has a lot on her mind right now."
"Like about what Roman and the White Fang could be doing together joining forces?" Athena asked, leaning into Blake's embrace, and closing her eyes.
"Yeah." Blake said. "What could they be planning?"
"I don't know, but I do know it's something bad." Athena yawned.
"Getting sleepy?" Blake asked.
"Yeah. Penny's dad really laid it on thick with his praises about how smart I was, kinda kept me up all night doing it." Athena exclaimed, before dozing off.
"Sleep tight Athena." Blake smiled, before the door swung open.
"Ugh, we should have never let him play." Yang groaned coming into the room with Ruby and Weiss.
"Heh, you're just mad 'cause the new guy beat you." Ruby said with a smile.
"Shhh." Blake hissed, putting a finger to her lips. "Athena's napping."
"Sorry." Weiss said.
"So, what's on your mind Blake?" Yang asked, sitting at the foot of Blake's bed.
"Nothing's on my mind." Blake said.
"Blake Belladonna you made a promise to me, to all of us, that you wouldn't keep anymore secrets from your teammates, and you would let us know if something was wrong, so Blake Belladonna, what is wrong?" Weiss questioned, flipping through the air, before standing above Blake pointing a finger at her. Blake looked down to see that Weiss had somehow pulled a chair from out of the desk, and was balancing on its back legs, before jumping down and putting the chair back.
"She's right Blake. You made a promise, and Athena isn't just our teammate, she's our daughter as well." Yang said. "So please don't keep whatever's going on, a secret from us."
"I just… I don't understand how everyone can be so calm." Blake said, moving some bangs out of Athena's face.
"You're still thinking about Torchwhick?" Ruby asked.
"Torchwhick, the White Fang, all of it." Blake said. "Something big is happening, and no one is doing anything about it."
"Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the Huntsmen, I'm sure they could handle it." Yang said.
"Well I'm not." Blake exclaimed, her voice rising.
"Hey, easy settle down." Yang said, taking Blake's hand on hers.
"They don't know the White Fang like I do." Blake said.
There was a moment of silence among the team, before it was broken by the heiress.
"Okay, between blowing up night clubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think you're all ready to go out, and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells…"
"Eh, who?" Ruby asked.
"But let me once again be the voice of reason… We're students. We're not ready to handle this sort of situation." Weiss exclaimed.
"Well, yeah but-"
"We're not ready." Weiss exclaimed.
"An' we may never be ready." Blake countered. "Our enemies aren't just gonna sit around and wait for graduation day. They're out there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming. Whether we're ready or not."
"Blake has a point Weiss." Yang said. "I know that we're both Athena's parents now, biologically, but I'm not gonna sit around and wait for the enemy to make a move. Athena was kidnapped, almost twice with what happened at the docks. She's a target, because of her power, and they want to turn her into a baby-factory, when she's old enough to get pregnant. The thought of that actually happening, scares me to death. I'm not even kidding."
"Let's not forget about Grey and his Queen, Athena's former biological mother." Ruby said. "Sorry Weiss, but you're outvoted on the matter. As leader of Team RWBY, I'm making this an official team mission."
"Well… I suppose it could be fun to bring down a criminal organization." Weiss said.
"Alright then." Blake smiled. "We're in this together."
"Let's hatch a plan." Ruby smiled, before receiving a pillow to the face, with Saffron curled up between her and Blake.
"Too noisy." Athena whined, turning her head, to bury her face in Blake's chest.
"First, let's get a full night's sleep." Weiss suggested.
"Ah, I forgot my board game in the library." Ruby said running off.
"We're doomed." Weiss exclaimed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I'll be right back." Ruby called out, before it sounded like she ran into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry, wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Are… are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Just watch where you're going." A mint green haired, tan skinned girl said, dressed in a Haven uniform, with a silver haired boy right beside her, said holding out a hand for Ruby to grab.
"Oh… Right… Sorry." Ruby said, accepting the hand up. "Um… I'm Ruby. Are you… new?"
"Visiting from Haven actually." A black haired girl with amber colored eyes said, coming up from behind the mint green haired girl.
"Ooooooh. You're here for the festival. Oh but exchange students have their own dormitory." Ruby said.
"I guess we just got turned around." The silver haired boy said.
"Don't worry, happens all the time." Ruby said. "Uh, your building is just east of here."
"Thanks. Maybe we'll see you around."
"Yeah maybe." Ruby exclaimed. "Oh, and welcome to Beacon."
As the trio of newcomers passed by the open door to the dorm housing three of the five members of RWBY, Athena's eyes shot open and she sat up in fear, a cold sweat instantly covering her.
"Whoa, Athena are you all right sweetie?" Yang asked, noticing the look of abject fear in her daughter's eyes.
"T-they're here." Athena said.
"Who's here?" Blake asked.
"Three of Salem's pawns, they've made their way into the school. I'd recognize their scents anywhere." Athena said. "They are the ones, who stole Fall."
