So this may take a few more chapters to wrap up than I had previously planned. I am setting up for a sequel, so I'm working that in as well because I've had quite a few requests for one. So here we go. Thank you for hanging with me.

I own nothing, just playing for a bit.

Crowley sat in his living room, watching the sun begin to peek into the windows. He was partially dressed having already showered, lacking only his shirt, tie and jacket. Of course he could dress himself with just a thought, but sometimes he liked to do it the old fashioned way. Christine was still asleep, they had been up until the early morning hours exploring each other. He was just thinking of returning to her when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and rolled his eyes. " Good morning squirrel. How's the neck?"

" Uh, it's okay. Look I just wanted to say thanks for pulling us out of there. I don't think we would have made it out without your help."

Crowley fought hard to stifle a laugh, this call had Sam written all over it. He could practically see Sam standing there in the the room making him call. " No worries, glad to help."

" So did you take care of the rest of them?"

" Well, no. I went back fully intending to, but they were gone."

" You couldn't find 'em or track 'em somehow?" Dean asked him.

" Oddly enough, there was one left. The father of the group, name of Caleb. Ring any bells?"

" No, not to me," he replied, and asked Sam if he knew. " Yeah, no idea here."

" Nice guy. We had a drink, had a few laughs. I think he said something about going to Canada? Not really sure."

" Well that's nice, you had a drink with a vampire. Good to see you're making new friends," Dean told him sarcastically.

Crowley could hear Sam talking in the background, and then a scuffle for the phone. " Any idea where they may have went?" It was Sam now.

" No, not one. If I remember something I'll be sure to give you a ring. Anything else?"

" What about the homeless shelter in Indiana. Any ideas?" Sam asked.

Crowley knew he was going to ask about it, didn't need to be a mind reader to figure that one out. " No, nothing I've heard."

" Are you sure? Something that random, so many people," Sam said.

" Look, I'm not an information booth. I told you I'd help you when I could, and I can't so what else do you need from me?" Crowley told him. He was irritated with them both, and a little with himself for lying to Sam since he had been so helpful when he needed him.

" How did things go with Chris when you got back?"

" Oooh, girl talk! My favorite. Should we paint our nails and braid our hair?"

" Like you have any hair to braid, " Sam told him.

" Well that's hurtful. Things are fine, and thank you for your help."

" I'm glad. Try not to screw it up." Sam told him and ended the call.

" Not as easy as it sounds," Crowley said to the empty room.

Christine made her way into the living room just as he ended the phone call, " Important business?" she asked.

Crowley smiled and turned on the couch to see her walking over to him, she was more breathtaking now than she was last night. Clad only in his black dress shirt from last night, and her hair tousled from sleep, she was a vision. " No, not really. Just the terrible two asking if I was able to finish the job on the vampires. Had to give them the bad news."

Christine sat next to him and his arm slid around her, she leaned into him resting her head on his shoulder. She slid her hand over his bare chest. " Thank you for last night, it was amazing."

" My pleasure. Anything to make you happy." He told her sincerely. " Do you have work today?" He asked as he toyed with the ends of her blonde hair.

" No, I'm off today. Work tomorrow."

Crowley pulled her to him to straddle his lap, " Then whatever shall we do today? " he asked her as he began unbuttoning the shirt she wore, kissing the newly exposed skin and he undid each one. Christine's eyes closed has his lips made contact with her skin. " Would you like to finish this in the bedroom? " He asked her. Christine rose and took his hand in hers , he stood and she led him back to the bedroom.

Spending the day with Christine making love and stopping for the occasional bite of food, mostly for her he didn't really need to eat, had been one of the most restful days he'd known in a while. "Anything I can get you?" he asked as they lay on the couch. Christine was watching tv and he was watching her.

"No, I'm good, but if you need to get up I can move."

Crowley was enjoying the domesticity of the moment when he felt the familiar pull of being summoned. " Sorry my dear, I'll have to leave you for a bit. Make yourself at home. Don't worry, a simple deal and I'll be back." He untangled himself from her and was suddenly dressed. " How do I look love?"

" Dashing." she told him.

Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a key fob. " Here you are darling, use my car if you need to . It's in the garage. If you're not here when I return I'll give you a ring." He bent down and kissed her.

" Be safe." she told him.

" Never," he said and smiled at her and disappeared.

Crowley appeared just off of the crossroads, in the shadow of and old gas station. He liked to watch them for a moment or two, just to watch them sweat it out waiting to see if he would really show up. Watching this person was no different, except for one little thing. " Why Brett, how lovely to see you again."

Brett peered into the darkness, he could see two glowing orbs but nothing else. As they got closer he could see the outline of a man. Finally the man stepped into the meager light cast by the flickering street lamp above them. " What are you doing here?" He asked Crowley. " Is this some kind of trick?"

" What am I doing here? You called me here, summoned to be exact."

Brett was still unsure what was happening. " I summoned a demon, or at least I thought I did."

" Oh you did. You summoned me. Allow me to introduce myself properly, Crowley, King of Hell. " and his eyes flared red again.

Brett was stunned, he didn't actually believe this would work, and he never expected this man to show up. " So you're a demon." he said still trying to wrap his head around things.

Crowley looked up and gave an exasperated sigh. " Not the brightest I see. Yes I'm a demon. Yes you summoned me, to make some sort of deal I presume. So can we get on with this because I have plans this evening."

" So anything I want?"

" Well within reason, I can't exactly make you a dinosaur or something."

" Does Christine know about this? Does she know you're some kind of monster?" Brett asked him.

" Look do you want to deal or not? Because I can leave."

" Yes! I do!"

" Alright big boy, you know the rules. 10 years and that ugly little soul is mine."

" Fine. I want Christine. I want her to love me, to worship me."

Crowley laughed. He laughed so hard and long that he couldn't breathe. Brett just stood there watching him. Crowley finally stopped and wiped his eyes. " Oh you were serious. " and he started laughing again.

" Yes I'm serious. 10 years of her belonging to me. That's the deal I want."

Crowley was still chuckling, " Sorry. No."

" What? Why? I summoned you! You have to give me whatever I want, you said so."

" First of all," Crowley said menacingly, " I don't have to do anything. I decide whether or not I make a deal, not you. Secondly I said within reason. Christine belongs to me!" He said striking his own chest with his palm. " Now unless there's something else you desire, my answer is no." Crowley turned to leave.

" Okay fine!" Brett yelled to him, " I want to be rich, and powerful!"

Crowley turned back to him and regarded him. " No, I don't think you have anything I want in return. You see, your soul will come to me either way. 10 years, 10 days. When you die, and honestly I hope it's soon, you'll come right to me. I've got so many fun activities planned for you."

Brett stared at him, this couldn't be real. He shook his head, " I don't believe any of this. You're crazy and delusional, I'm going to call Chris and tell her exactly how crazy you are!"

" I'm delusional? You summoned me! As far as telling Christine, will you leave out the part that you were at the crossroads attempting to summon demon to make a deal so she would love you? Believe me when I say she knows all about who and what I am. She's seen me in all my glory, so to speak, and still chooses to be with me. So tell me, what hurts more? The fact that you were so close to having her before I came back or the fact that she goes willingly to my bed?"

" You probably put some kind of spell on her or something. That's the only way she'd be with you!"

" Either way, she loves me."

" How could she love you? Your whole existence is just unnatural. I'm the one she should be with. Me!"

Brett carried on with is tirade, spouting things that Crowley really didn't care about, normally he would have just left, but he felt a point was needing to be made. He closed his eyes and opened them, they were red and glowing. His wings stretched from his back and spread wide. He spoke and his voice was deep and demonic, " I don't respond to the petulant whining of a child, and your tantrum is pathetic! I am a God and you mortals should tremble when I walk upon this earth!" Crowley raised his hand and Brett lifted into the air. Higher and higher he rose. As he hung there in the air almost 15 feet high.

" Let me down!" Brett screamed.

Crowley let him drop. Brett landed with a thud. Crowley folded his wings and walked over to where he had landed and squatted down beside him. He looked down at Brett, broken and bleeding. Barely breathing. " There, I let you down. Now, would you like to make a deal?"

Brett could barely move, everything hurt. He didn't know it but he had severe internal injuries, and even a brain injury that would take his life in a matter of minutes. " Yes," he managed to rasp out. " Want. To. Live" he finally managed to say.

" Now that's a deal I would be more than happy to make, I'll let you live, in perfect health even, and in 10 years you're mine." Crowley said. He got down even lower and kissed Brett on his bloody mouth. Standing he pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his mouth off. He snapped his fingers and Brett was standing in front of him good as new. " There, now that wasn't so hard now was it? See you in 10 years Brad." he said and vanished.

.

Crowley returned to find Christine much as he had left her, still on the couch, but her eyes were closed and she was softly breathing. " Miss me?" he said he said softly and touched her face.

Christine's eyes opened, " Hey, done already?"

" Never takes long. Especially this one. "

Christine's cell phone began to ring at that precise moment. It was in her purse on the kitchen island, and she went to get it.

" Let it ring love, whoever it is can call back."

" I can't, might be work." She said as she started digging through her purse to get to it.

Crowley had a pretty good idea who was calling, and what would happen if Christine knew what he had done. Still, he stood by what he had done. He did his job, nothing more. Christine answered the phone, and he waited. He sat there wishing that he didn't care what she thought, but he did. Crowley felt like a child who's mother was getting a report from school, and he knew he would be in trouble.

" Brett, slow down. What are you talking about? "

Crowley could hear a voice coming from the other end of the phone. " Bloody tattletale." He murmured.

" He did what? Hang on just a minute, so you summoned a demon? Okay, just a minute." she moved the phone away from her mouth and pressed the mute button, " Who summoned you?"

" Do you really need to ask? He just told you. Now ask me what you really want to know,"

" Did you trick him into making a deal?"

" No. Not in the slightest. He was there completely willing to make a deal, we just had to negotiate the terms."

" And what were those terms exactly."

" Why don't you ask him?" Crowley told her.

Christine unmuted the phone and asked, " So what exactly did you make a deal for?" She listened as he told her the story of what happened on the dark road. When he was done she said, " Don't call me again," and hung up on him. She sat there quietly for a moment then asked Crowley, " Is what he said true?"

" Depends on what he said," He answered her, being evasive just came naturally to him.

" Did he want you to make me love him?"

" At first, yes. I told him no, I do have the right to refuse service you know."

" Just tell me what deal he made."

" I let him live. 10 years."

" He said you nearly killed him and then made him make his deal to save his life."

" I didn't make him do anything. I can't help it if he brought a knife to a gunfight so to speak. I did what I did, I'll not make any apologies. He's lucky I made him a deal at all. I could have left him there to die."

" You could have just said no and left it at that, without almost killing him."

" I don't tell you how to do your job, you don't tell me how to do mine. This is what I am Christine, I'm a demon. I've never lied about that."

" I know. I just, " she started to say, " It's just don't like knowing that you hurt someone I care about."

" Someone you care about? Is this the same someone that was physically assaulting you last week?"

" You know what I mean, and I don't want to fight with you. I'm trying here, okay? It's not like you have a regular job."

" Well I can't help it if I'm summoned."

Christine went and sat next to him. " Look, I'm not asking you to be something you're not, and I'm tired of fighting with you. I'm just asking if someone I know summons a demon for whatever reason, can you send someone else?"

" So I'm to check with you before I make any deals just to make sure you don't know them? No, I won't do that. However, if you want to give me a list of people I'm absolutely not to engage with, then I'll commit it to memory and I'll send along someone else. Fair?"

" I guess it's the best I can get."

" It's more than I've ever done for anyone else."

She hugged him after standing up, " Be patient with me, you're learning how to be with someone, I'm learning how to be with the devil."

Crowley smiled, " I love it when you call me that. Now, can I get you anything? Are you hungry?"

" I've noticed you don't eat much. Is that just a preference or do you even need to eat?"

" I don't really need to, no. On occasion I do like to have a meal, but for the most part I just don't." He answered.

" If you don't want to you don't have to." Christine told him.

" It's no trouble." he assured her.

" Pizza?" she asked, taking his hand and leading him back to the couch. " and a movie?"

Crowley smiled and let himself be led to the living room. " Of course my dear. Anything you wish."

Sam and Dean sat in their hotel room researching. They were scouring books and occult websites for any mention of a vampire named Caleb. " I'm not finding anything, are you sure Crowley said Caleb?" Sam asked.

" Yeah, Caleb. Said he was the father of the nest we were trying to clear out." Dean answered.

" I found something!" Sam said holding an ancient book. The outside was marked and scarred from years of abuse, the pages yellowed and brittle, " It mentions that Caleb is the second son of the Alpha. Dean, if this is the same Caleb, he was the second vampire ever made. God, he's gotta be thousands of years old."

" So the question is, what does he want with Crowley? Because I find it hard to believe he's just out to make new friends. He waited there for him, specifically."

" Maybe not. Maybe it was just a coincidence." Sam told him.

" Come on Sam, a coincidence? If that guy was there when we were he could have taken us out like nothing, no he had a plan. He knew Crowley would come back. I don't know how, but he did."

" We don't know that for sure." Sam said.

" Then if he was there, why didn't he protect the others. No, something doesn't add up here." Dean told him.

" So what should we do?"

" Let's go back to where they were. Crowley said they left. Maybe they left something behind, or maybe we'll just get a chance to talk to Caleb ourselves."

" Should we ask Crowley to go?"

" No. I don't know what this Caleb is up to but I think it's in our best interest to keep them apart. I know a demon can't possess a vampire, no soul. But what if a vampire bit a demon, or a seriously ancient vampire bit a demon with an angels grace?"

" Could he even do that?" Sam asked. " And how would he know that Crowley had it?"

" I don't know, but he said that he got rid of Abbadon, I'm sure there were a few demons that saw it. Any of them could have said something or told Caleb."

" I think we should call Crowley and let him know. If there's something bad out there after him, we should at least let him know."

" Crowley can take care of himself, he just told us they were having drinks together."

" What about Chris? Shouldn't we tell him so he can keep her safe?"

" Yeah, I guess you're right. Tell him, and then lets get on the road." Dean said as he started to gather their things.

Sam picked up his phone and called Crowley's number.

Crowley sat with Christine in the darkened living room, a pallet of blankets and pillows on the floor. An open pizza box sat empty on the coffee table. They sat cuddled together watching The Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring. "I can't believe you've never seen this." Christine told him as they watched.

" I told you , I don't watch movies or tv that much. I do seem to remember reading this book though. Movie is going a bit astray."

" I know," she said, " I've read it too, but the movie is really well done."

Crowley started to say something else but his phone started ringing, he grabbed it from the coffee table and saw Sam's number on the caller ID. " Between you and your brother I may never get any rest," he said into the phone when he answered.

" Just listen." Sam told him. " We've been doing some research on Caleb, and we think he has some sort of plan involving you."

" No, not to my knowledge, we had drinks and discussed demons and vampires." Crowley said. Actually telling the truth.

" I know, and that's what has us thinking. What does an ancient vampire want with the King of Hell? We think he wants to turn you."

" That's not possible." Crowley said. " And why would he want to?"

" I don't know, but we think he somehow found out about you and that you have an angels grace. Half demon, half angel, turned by a vampire. Sounds like some sort of superweapon to me."

Crowley's mind was racing. Was it even possible? Caleb couldn't turn him, could he?

" We just wanted to let you know for Christine's sake. So you can keep her safe."

" Thank you."

" Well we don't know for sure if we're right, just be careful and keep her safe."

" Of course." he said and ended the call.

" Anything important? " Christine asked him.

Crowley shook his head, " No, nothing important. Why don't you finish the movie? I have some work I need to do." He told her as he got up from the floor.

" Do you want me to stop the movie?"

" No, go ahead and finish, but not too late. You have work tomorrow." he reminded her.

Christine sighed. " I know. I think I'll go ahead and go to bed. 5am comes early." she said stopping the movie. Christine got up for the floor just before Crowley vanished all of the pillows and blankets, along with the empty pizza box. " I don't think I'll ever get used to that. " She told him. " Coming to bed soon?" she asked him.

" As soon as I can. Sleep well." he told her and kissed her goodnight. He watched as she walked away toward the bedroom. As soon as the door was shut he disappeared and reappeared in Hell. He immediately sent hellhounds to guard the house, one he singled out, the largest of the all. " Now, you take special care of her. No one in the house, she goes nowhere alone." He reached out and scratched the huge black dog behind it's ears. " Good boy Growley. Go on now." and he watched the massive animal run from the room to its appointed task. He sat down behind his desk and sighed, " It's always something."
