Blake woke to find her mother bringing her breakfast in bed.

"Blake, your father and I have something we have to tell you."

Her face fell and her ears followed.

"Blake we are not disappointed in you. We are relieved that you're safe, but what you must know is that you have a choice you need to make."

Ears twitching she asked: what do you mean?"

"Come with us."

They then went downstairs. They entered and area where Khali tilted a candle and a secret door led downstairs further and into a majestic room where they where surrounded by cherry blossom trees and Belladonnas and the image was enchanting, but she noticed there was a pattern to this beauty and it was all centered around a pond.

This pond was filled with bright, massive, white Koi fish. They looked ethereal, and unlike any fish she had ever her mother thought she had taken in the scenery enough she spoke.

"It is our birthright to be chosen mates for dragons. The reason it hasn't been in a while was either they kept hidden, mated with other races or the ultimate reason is there have not been many new unmatched dragons this time around.

Taiyang chose Raven as his chosen and the rest of his generation of dragons had mated others.

Yang is the first of her generation that has been recognized as soon as she accepted her power. We know this innately because of a pact made between the first dragon and the first Faunus.

The bond that was formed made it to where any pairing between those two races in particular where unstoppable. It gave new meaning to becoming one. You must see that each race has their appeal.

The Changelings could adapt to anything that was asked of them and were a different level of intelligence, the Warriors were resilient and strong, the full fledged knights were noble and were cunning, but the Faunus were not given any such edge aside from our animalistic traits and our mating habits coincided with the dragons.

The first dragon had fallen madly in love with it's chosen Faunus and wanted to have future dragons feel just as complete so she gave a blood pact which sealed the fate of all dragons to be known to Faunus as soon as they are empowered and old enough to mate."

"How come I didn't know any of this!?"

"You left us to be with the White Fang before we were able to tell you that your bedtime stories were real. As for not sensing her when you were around her she was of age but she had not accepted her full power yet."

"Here I thought Yang was strong to begin with."

"You were given the chance to fall for her without her draconian pull."

"Draconian pull?"

"When you first see her dragon eyes you will understand."

"That's if she ever looks at me again."

"That is the very reason we have brought you here today. You will sit here and watch the fish."

"What is the significance of these fish?"

"The sacred Koi speak for themselves, though please don't go into the water unless you believe you are strong enough to come back out on your own."

Her parents then turned and left swiftly before she could question further.

Back in the upper part of the house:

"Kali she is not ready!"

"The Sacred Koi always have been a way for us to determine those who are worthy of being a Dragon's true mate."

"It will put her through her worst nightmares though!"

"I know that, but she needs to understand that fear and to stand up for her right to claim her mate. Just the mention of her name and our daughter looked heartsick at best."

"I just wish there was another way. I've heard the horror stories of those who enter the pool of tranquility without their mate."

"We knew she was meant for greatness when we presented her to the Koi on her birthday and they glowed with the color of her aura."

"It will make her see that she is needed as much as she needs her partner."

Her parents waited and worried cause they both knew there was a slight chance that Blake would not come out. If she failed to come to terms with it all she would join the Sacred Koi as one of them.

Mean while:

"Well that was cryptic."

She then sat and watched the fish. They were mesmerizing to watch.

They glistened and moved in a leisure fashion at first.

Then as she watched they started to move in a pattern and half of them turned a dark color of purple that faded into black.

Then she saw herself in what looked to be her first year at beacon.

Then the other half had lit up in a brilliant white gold that faded into a silver and she saw Yang.

The two halves had been shaped like a Yin-Yang symbol.

The images shifted and it showed how Yang would look at her. Her breath caught as it was a look of pure love and adoration.

"I should've never left you."

She didn't even know where to begin as to how she could ever make it up to Yang for leaving.

She watched on as she felt the unity in both of the halves trying to reach each other. The struggle of trying to reach their mated half was not lost on her.

"This is my fault. I will fix this you have my word."

As if they heard her they finally combined and she was almost blinded as a flash of light beamed from them. She was pulled in and then taken under.

"What is happening?!"

Even with her night vision she couldn't see anything.

Then all of a sudden before her Adam was standing in front of her. Her heart stopped as he came forth.

"I will kill all that you love and then I will desecrate their graves as I fuck your body to death over them!"

"No."

Right next to them Yang's body appeared and it was beaten and bloodied like she never seen it.

She couldn't bear looking at the one she loved the most just laying there. Her paragon of strength and resilience just lay there as if the life had been beaten out of her. Adam took his sword and stabbed it straight into Yang's heart.

"NO!"

Tears were streaming down her face she couldn't move.

She crawled over to Yang's body. She fell on top of her. Yang coughed and whispered.

"Blake why did you leave?"

"I..."

Then she was gone.

The life in her eyes just gone.

Before she knew what was happening she was somehow naked and Adam grabbed her by her hair.

As he followed through on fucking her like an animal over Yang's dead body.

Blake felt nothing but cold loss and she was empty inside. Her reason for living was dead.

Her nightmare got worse as each person she came to love turned up dead with each thrust of Adam's hips.

She couldn't bare to even process the monster inside of her as he took what he thought was rightfully his.

The rest of her team, her parents, her classmates, her teachers, and just everyone.

"I told you they would all die and now you will be mine and mine alone."

She never took her eyes off of Yang as she saw each new corpse arrive from her peripherals.

Nothing, but tears came she couldn't find it in herself to scream. Then he finished and as he did she was filled with nothing, but ice.

He let her fall and she was still on top of Yang's lifeless body and was lost.

Then in a flash it was all gone. She was clothed and no corpses nor Adam were to be found.

She cried until she felt she couldn't cry anymore.

Then a bright wave of heat enveloped her and she knew this feeling.

She stood and she squinted through the bright light as Yang stepped forward. Her heart leapt.

"Is it really you?"

Then she noticed that her favorite lavenders were missing and in their place was the red that had never been directed at her save for when they had trained together.

Yang stepped forward and started wailing on her. She put up a fight at first.

"Yang, please stop!"

"Why? So you can leave again!?"

"I will never leave you again!"

"Why should I let you try!?"

She was relentless and Blake almost gave up.

"Because I love you. I know I shouldn't have left."

"No. You shouldn't have. Do you think your worthy of being my true mate?"

Before she could respond Yang vanished. Blake fell to her knees.

"What is this?!"

"We want you to understand that your Dragon will not forgive you. At least not as easily as you would hope. She has changed. We would normally hold you under until your mate came for you. Seeing as you put yourself at odds with the great beast that is not a viable option."

"As mad as she is with me, and she should be, she would still come for me."

"She would, but it wouldn't be to forgive and mate you as it should be."

Blake hung her head.

"What you must do is take action. Do you believe your worthy of her?"

"Before I left her I was."

"That is not ENOUGH! If you want your mate you have to believe that you are worthy. If you don't believe so, why should she?"

They showed an image of Yang and Blake couldn't hold back the tears.

"I hurt her. I don't deserve her."

"You are a Belladonna are you not?"

"Yes."

"Your bloodline was that of the first Faunus. Your kind were made to be worthy of Dragons. What is keeping you from claiming what you know in your heart of hearts is yours?"

Blake was caught. She knew she loved Yang. In the deepest reaches of her heart she knew she was meant for no one else.

Adam had been a horrible detour and a living nightmare at best. She thought of image of Yang dead and it had broke her inside.

Yang deserved someone who not only thought themselves worthy, but sought out to claim her in turn.

"What do I need to do?"

"Grovel, give her truth, and give her time. She will know you as her true mate, but your dragon is stubborn. She will fight it at first. The biggest thing that you could do that she won't be able to ignore is claim your right as her potential mate."

"I want to feel as though I deserve her then."

"Forgive yourself for leaving her by going back to her. If you truly still question your worth then think of the reason as to why the dragon would choose you as her true mate. If you can't come to terms with this then you will remain here as one of us."

She closed her eyes.

It was then she heard her father's words: "Know this there will be a time of redemption if you so choose to take it. You have the strength within you to change. Prove to not just them, but to yourself that the risk is worth it."

It was with this in mind she opened her eyes and found her conviction.
