I apologize for the recent update before. For some reason I was reworking the last chapter and I posted it for a second. So to make up for it, I replaced that chapter.

I'll have the next chapter by Valentine's Day.

The Blues are standing around each other.

Church: Get out of my body right now, Tex!

Tex: (in Lopez's body) Your body? This isn't your body, I stole it.

Church: Yeah, but I stole it first!

"I think Lopez has been the most unluckiest character in the show so far." Seryu said crossing her arms.

"Stuck with a language nobody speaks and possessed by a spirit for three months and being nearly forgotten by his team during that time and then being possessed by a second time. Yeah sounds pretty lucky." Akame listed off while giving a nod.

"Well if that's the argument for Lopez then Church has first place in bad luck." Chelsea commented.

"Seconded. And besides, Lopez wasn't forgotten by the Reds." Lubbock said.

"It took them three months to try and get him back. And they failed because of a lie." Seryu said.

"Well he seems to have fallen in love with someone who literally understands him. So Church takes the lead." Sheele said.

"I think they're at a tie." Esdeath said.

"We should vote on it after the season." Bols suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Run said.

"Actually...it should involve all the characters. Rank them based on shit luck." Wave proposed.

"It is settled then." Najenda declared.

Sheila: I am confused. I thought your name was Lopez. And I thought you were a man. This is all so strange. I feel like my circuits are crossed… and I like it!

"Oh my god, the tank is horny!" Chelsea yelled.

It was barely a second before Leone was on the floor laughing.

"Ugh, you two are gross." Mine said pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Oh my god, Chelsea. Just for that I'm inviting to be my new harem sister. That means you get to share Tatsumi." Leone declared extending her hand.

"WHAT?!" Nearly everyone shouted.

"Ooooh I accept, just please don't ever call me that again." Chelsea said, shaking her hand while her face turned red. Despite her calm demeanor, it was all very surprising for to be given this opportunity but she had been growing closer to Tatsumi like with some of the other girls.

"First off: you don't get to make such decisions. And secondly: never refer to me as a 'harem sister' ugh." Mine glared at the busty blonde.

"I don't mind the extra competition. Since I will be Tatsumi's true beloved." Esdeath declared.

"Challenge accepted." Chelsea grinned at her.

"I don't get a say in this?" Tatsumi asked.

"Apparently not." Wave said shaking his head.

Some of the other girls looked on with another bout of jealousy in their eyes. While Lubbock had to keep himself from crying out loud from his own jealousy.

O'Malley: I know how to get her out of there. (raises pistol and Tex looks at him) Wink.

Church: Caboose, don't. Look, just go explain to Sheila, okay? (Caboose leaves) Alright, Tex, now what's it gonna take to get you out of there?

Tex: Well ever since I've been a ghost, I've been watching you guys a lot.

Tucker: Whoa, when you say you've been watching us, does that mean you've been watching us all the time?(he looks over at a rock that has been written on in teal: PRIVATE! KEEP OUT! TUCKER'S ROCK!) Like even when we're alone?

Tex: Yes, Tucker, and you should be VERY ashamed of yourself.

"Oh gross." Suzaku said.

"Ashamed of what? There's nothing wrong with a man having a private spot to take care of his needs." Bols said pointing his finger up.

"It is if he drilled a hole in that rock, which is desperate even for me." Lubbock said slightly paling.

"Okay that's even grosser." Chelsea gagged on her lollipop.

Though a thought did occur to the shapeshifting assassin; She made a mental note to consider the large boulder a way's off from the hideout to have her first time with the man if no other spot was available.

Caboose is visible in the background, crouched on top of Sheila.

Tucker: ...It's very lonely out here...

'Boy do I know the feeling.' Lubba thought.

"That's a poor excuse." Mine cringed.

"I agree." Esdeath blushed but secretly thought of taking that rock's place if it were Tatsumi.

"Oh c'mon, Mine. They've been stuck for who knows how long. I would not be surprised if someone died of boredom in that canyon." Leone said.

"Yeah they should've reassigned sometime ago." Bulat said.

"Surprised your defending him, Leone." Najenda said. "Would this have anything to do with your new boyfriend."

Leone just shrugged. "Maybe. But its a natural thing."

Tex: Anyway, I've noticed a change in one of your guys. Caboose.

Church: A change? Like what? He's finally learned the whole alphabet?

Tex: You haven't noticed that he's become increasingly aggressive lately?

"Even though I'm glad somebody else noticed, it makes me wonder why she waited this long to let Church know she was still around." Akame said.

"Those three months must've been boring." Kurome said.

Tucker: I have! Started about the same time Sheila got disabled and you got blown up. I tried to tell Church but he never listens.

Church: Tucker, there's a very fine line between not listening and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

Chelsea and Akame giggled.

"Tch. That's some line." Lubba said rolling his eyes.

"You gotta admit though, that's pretty clever." Tatsumi chuckled.

Fade to black, then to a grayscale flashback that Tex narrates.

Tex: (voiceover) I had just finished repairing the tank when I overheard Church's plan to warn the Reds about me.

Church: (in the flashback with a faint echo) I guess I'm gonna do the only thing I can do. I gotta warn the Reds.

Tex: From what I could tell, (fade to black, then to the present) the A.I. calculated the odds of survival and didn't like the results. (fade to a grayscale flashback) Once Caboose turned on his radio to call Church, it took it's chance.

Caboose: (in flashback, echoing) Calling Private Church. Come in, Church.

"So that's how he got infected! The radio." Bols said.

"Hmm interesting. Very interesting this Freelancer organization with their work on Artificial Intelligence." Stylish rubbed his chin. 'Though I feel like something else is missing, as to how Caboose's mind was taken over. I hope to learn more later.'

Fade to the present.

Tucker: And that's when he said his name was O'Malley. So the A.I. that was in you infected Caboose?

Church: Right, everyone's armour has one slot for A.I. and Caboose's would've been vacant.

Tucker: I think there are a few of his NON-artificial slots that are empty too.

"Hey who does that remind you of, Sheele?" Bulat teased the airhead.

Sheele blushed and muttered for him to shut up. Run smiled and rubbed the top of her head which made Sheele feel a bit better.

Fade to grayscale flashback.

Tex: And before I could figure out what happened, that bitch hit with a really lucky shot! (in flashback, echoing) Ah crap! (fades to the present) And the next thing I know... I'm a ghost.

"Or an A.I." Stylish muttered.

Church: Alright, I get it. Caboose has your precious little A.I. So let me guess, you're holding my body hostage until I help you get your A.I. back, right?

Tex: Wrong. You're gonna help me kill it.

"Hmmm looks like things are about to get interesting." Leone said.

"Interesting? More like exciting." Esdeath said grinning.

Cut to the top of Red Base. Simmons, Grif, and Donut are lined up watching Sarge.

Sarge: Ladies, it has come to my attention that we are in need of a new robot type person. Who here wants to volunteer?

"Somehow I don't like the sound of that." Mez said.

Donut: Are we going on a trip? I love trips! Can we play I Spy and license plate games?

Grif: Shut up, Donut!

Donut: Please!

Simmons: Uh, sir-

Donut: -or Punch Buggy?

Grif: Why won't this guy shut up?

Donut: Or-or alphabet with the signs game?

Simmons: What exactly do you mean by volunteer?

Sarge: Quite obviously we are without a robot or any other type of recruit with mechanical training or dexterity. Therefore, the only solution is to turn one of you into a robot and/or freaky cyborg thing.

"Wait, what?! Play that back I want to be sure I heard that right." Mine said. The rewind was pressed and they replayed Sarge's line.

"I thought so." Mine said.

"Only solution?" Najenda asked.

"I fail to see how that would give anyone mechanical expertise." Susanoo said.

"I think that would be cool!" Seryu said, her face bright enough to light the room.

Simmons: (at the same time as Grif) Have you gone crazy? What the hell?

Grif: (at the same time as Simmons) Wh-What!? That is the stupidest idea I ever heard.

Donut: Cool! I vote for Simmons!

Some of them chuckled at that.

Sarge: I'm told the cyborg operation is a relatively simple procedure really. (Simmons and Grif say something indecipherable) Where the mostly useless guts and slimy goo of the human body are replaced with the no doubt superior guts and oily goo of a robot.

Grif: (in the background) I'm confused.

Sarge: If you're lucky, you may even get a copper rectum.

"Gross." Dorothea gagged.

"Lucky?" Mine questioned

Simmons: Sir, wouldn't it be better if we didn't do that, instead of doing it?

Sarge: Good thinking, Simmons. But no, I like the removing the guts thing so I think we stick with that.

"So last he went from just being violent crazy... to adding delusional AND crazy to his character." Leone said.

"Yeah last season he seem to be more focused on wanting to kill Grif. Now he's bordering on insanity." Run said.

"I feel like he may have gotten some brain damage from being shot in the head." Tatsumi said.

Grif: Yeah, sir, I hate to agree with the kiss-ass, but wouldn't it be better if we just got Command to send us another perfectly good, brand new robot instead?

"Oh! I guess they could do that." Seryu said, feeling a bit disappointing.

"Don't be down, Seryu. Your more human than you realize." Run said.

"Thanks," Seryu smiled again, "something like this sound like it would need brain surgery."

"Yes its better if they call in for another robot." Stylish said.

"Pfft. Given how they sent a rookie who had no idea about the Blues, I wouldn't trust them to send a blacksmith." Mez said.

"I'd be offended if they did and they'd be just as bad." Tatsumi said.

"Yeah and if the standard is "perfectly good", they might get a lone wolf like Tex." Najenda said.

"Well so far I think they've had better luck with their equipment. Slightly." Bols said.

Sarge: Negative, meatsack. Another new robot could be reprogrammed by our enemies just as easily as Lopez. We need someone we know we can trust.

Camera pans from Donut and Grif to Simmons.

Simmons: Aw, fuck me!

"I wonder if that counts as bad luck." Run said aloud.

Sarge: Or someone whose mental capacity is so unbelievably tiny that he could never be turned against us.

Everyone looks at Donut.

Donut: Hey, pink suit, guys! I think it's somebody else's turn in the barrel!

(Add dialogue)

"Finally! He admit its pink." Mine said.

"But wait, how did Donut figure out that Sarge was talking about him?" Dorothea said.

"I'm having a hard time of figuring out what that implies." Mez said.

Sarge: Then again maybe we just stick with the trustworthy thing.

Simmons: Ugh, you backstabbing ass monkeys.

Sarge: Now, Grif, I'll be needing some things from my medicine chest for this operation. Two quarts of vodka-

(Add dialogue)

Grif: Check.

Sarge: Eight pounds of Vaseline, condensed.

(Add dialogue)

Grif: Check.

Sarge: An old tire iron, preferably metric.

Grif: Y-You know, I might have left that in the bathroom.

"Metric?" Tatsumi asked.

"It's a... type of measurement I guess. Ehh used across the ocean or something, I don't know." Wave said.

Sarge: The latest issue of Easy Bake Oven for Kids Monthly.

"None of these sound like proper medical tools." Stylish said.

"I'm wondering if this will be a waste of time or somehow work itself out in the end." Run said.

Grif: I'll have to check.

Sarge: Check, you mean we have it?

Grif: Check. What no, not check, I mean I'll have to check. Look, we don't have it.

Sarge: C'mon, make sense! I don't have all day! I gotta gut this fish!

"Okay, Doc, I would lose all trust in you as a doctor if you told me 'I gotta gut this fish' before you do something medical related." Leone said glaring at him.

The doctor adjusted his glasses and said, "Noted. Next episode."
