Sorry that it has taken me a while to update. Hope everyone had a great holiday.
I was feeling really good after taking down Gaku's secret operation, especially after freeing those young girls from a evil predicament, but I knew if I was really going to take out Gaku then my fight was far from over. He still had a assassin out there with my powers and I had a huge feeling that I would be running into that said assassin after I destroyed Gaku's sex trafficking operation. Which meant I couldn't waist time getting back to work. I needed to find out who this secret assassin was, and how they have my exact powers. Thankfully for me, if this guy did indeed work for Gaku, than I might know exactly where to find my answers.
In the eyes of the general public Gaku is a businessman, owning a string of hotels and casinos all throughout Japan. He also had this giant tower in the middle of Tokyo were his office was located. If my hunch was right then I might be able to find the answers I'm looking for in Gaku's office.
Getting to his office won't be a cakewalk though, with as big of a tower it was and the type of man Gaku is I knew it would be heavily guarded. Not like something like that would be a problem for me. I take on heavily armed people almost on a daily basis, it's like a average Wednesday for me. The problem is that these people are most likely honest family men who are probably unaware of Gaku's true character just hired to be his security guards, and I am done intentionally killing innocent people. I would have to change up my plan of attack if I wanted to make sure these guys woke up to see their families again.
The best plan of action would have to be stealth mode, cause a distraction that would cause the security to separate and knock out the guards one by one. It was different from my usual slaughterhouse style of fighting but hey if these people are indeed unaware of their bosses actions like I was then they don't deserve death.
That night I drove up to Gaku's tower and sneaked in through a series of vents. Now I'm not claustrophobic but something about squeezing through a series of dusty old vents not knowing what critters might be sharing these vents with me was enough to almost make a girl have a panic attack. Luckily I was strong willed enough to focus on the mission ahead. Looking down I saw two security guards below pacing the hallway, they each had a handgun hanging from their pockets, if I was spotted they would surely draw their guns and I would be forced to do something in self defense that might result in their accidental death. Luckily I had a different option. Reaching into my pocket I took out a small grenade filled with a non lethal knock out gas. When detonated instead of exploding it would fill the hallway with a gas that would put them to sleep for a few hours, it wouldn't kill them but it would give me the time I need to find the info I'm looking for and get out.
Putting on a gas mask I pulled the pin on the grenade and dropped it at their feet. "Nighty night." What? I'm actually in a good mood for once, let me have some wisecracks.
I didn't stick around to see the action, didn't want to risk getting spotted but I did hear the sound of coughing and the sound of another guard calling for help before what sounded like both of them hitting the floor. I also heard the sound of multiple running footsteps so my action must of attracted more guards to that area. Good, less guards I have to risk fighting if I get spotted.
I continued to use the vents until I reached the elevator. I knew these string of vents didn't lead to Gaku's office, so I was forced to use the elevator, I just had to hope that I didn't get spotted. As I got in the elevator I took out to more gas grenades, just in case I needed them, then I pressed the button to the very top floor. As the elevator stopped and the door opened I suddenly came across five heavily armed security guards, all standing between me and Gaku's office.
"Hey you, halt!" one guard shouted.
"Aw man, things were going so well too." I griped as I tossed the two grenades. The grenades detonated as they hit the floor causing the gas to instantly spill out, the guards started to cough instantly but not before several of them got a couple of shots off. I had to quickly dodge to the right to avoid getting shot before grabbing the first guards gun and melting it with my powers. "Nuh, uh, uh, these are very dangerous weapons, not a toy."
I punched the guy in the back of the head to knock him out before heading to the second guard and melting his gun, quickly knocking him out "It's past your bedtime, go to bed." One by one I took the guards out before walking towards the last one. The guard grabbed his radio to try to call for backup but I quickly grabbed it and melted it. "Shh... You don't want to disturb the others do you?" I didn't even have to lay a hand on the guard before he succumbed to the gas and fell asleep. Grabbing the keys from one of the guards I unlocked Gaku's office door and as I opened the door to Gaku's office I turned to look at the guards all passed out from the gas. Not able to help myself I made one last wisecrack before walking inside. "Aw... they look so cute when they sleep." Hey I DID say I was in a good mood.
Walking inside I locked the door behind me and got on Gaku's computer. I was almost disappointed that the man didn't even log out of his computer because it denied me the chance to practice my awesome computer hacking skills.
"Okay Gaku," I smirked as I started to search through his files "Let's see what you are hiding from me." After a few minutes I stumbled upon a video file of me as Gaku found me passed out from my battle with Akio. Gaku had me loaded in a black van but before he took me to the hospital he had a blood sample of me taken. The video later skips to Gaku having my own blood injected into himself, the results causing his veins to suddenly glow green. I gasped and covered my mouth, a couple of tears fell from my eyes as I saw Gaku suddenly form green hues in his palms. I couldn't believe it, it was Gaku himself that murdered his wife, murdered Makiko's family. Set me up to look like a serial killer. I wanted to gag but I decided to dig deeper into Gaku's files. That is when I saw what looked like a journal entry that dated back a week before Gaku hired me to go after Akio.
"Today I had to make the tough choice and silence my own beautiful and loving daughter. She had discovered my secret and was going to expose me to the cops. Having some of my men steal some of Akio's drugs, I injected my daughter with a overdose making it look like a accidental OD and setting Akio up for the deed. Akio has been a pain in my side in the underworld for long enough and if one good thing can come from my daughter's tragic death it's that I can finally bury Akio with him. I will soon hire someone to take Akio out, filling whoever takes my case with the story that Akio was the culprit, keeping my secret safe."
Gaku had lied to me, used me. He framed Akio for the death of his own daughter and now he is framing me. Oh that son of a bitch had no idea who he was messing with. I had all the evidence I need to take him down, taking out a flash drive I downloaded all my findings before shutting off his computer. That is when I hears noise coming from outside.
"The intruder is in his office, get in there!"
"Time for me to piss off." Climbing out of the office, I used my razor sharp gloves to climb to the roof top before leaping through the rooftops of other buildings to make my escape.
After several minutes of roof climbing I safely landed on the ground and chuckled to myself as I stared at all the info I had on my flash drive. "Your going down Gaku. Now that I know all your secrets, your going to regret the day you double crossed me."
Suddenly I got a phone call, looking at the caller ID I gasped when I saw it was from Gaku himself.
"You crossed the line Shego!" Gaku yelled over the phone.
"You crossed the line when you lied to me and framed me!" I yelled back
"You have no idea the consequences of your actions!" Gaku screamed "You destroyed my business, I worked hard to build my business and I ain't going to let some vengeful bitch take it away from me. You took something dear from me, and now I have taken something dear from you."
"What are you talking about? There is nothing in Tokyo I give a rats ass about."
That is when it donned on me. "Oh no? Hanna!?" Hanging up I quickly drove as fast as I could to Hanna's house, breaking every speed limit there was to get to her house. Running up her stares I saw her door had been melted off, green residue present.
"No, no no, Hanna!" Running inside I suddenly let out a scream when I saw Hanna laying on the ground dead, her face burned and a hole in her chest from where a green hue had burned through her.
"NO! I screamed "No, no, no, no!" I fell to my knees and sobbed "This is my fault, this is all my fault. I'm sorry Hanna."
Suddenly I heard the sound of police sirens approaching and the footsteps of several police officers running up the stairs.
"Freeze!" A officer shouted. Turning around I saw ten officers standing behind me, each one with a gun pointed towards my head. "Hands where I can see them."
Well this just got a hell of a lot worse.
