10. Halloween Special Part One!

Peroroncino watched from the corner of the Windowless Underground Chapel, it had normally been used for storage of undead and traps for the first three floors of Nazarick and it was normally so dark that if one did not have the ability or an item to see in the dark they wouldn't be able to see their own hand in front of their face. But it had been emptied, redecorated and illuminated with a number of lanterns and pumpkins for the event that was currently taking place in front of the Birdman's very eyes.

It had all started a few weeks before when his sister and him had been talking about how Halloween was not too far away back in the Real World if they were still there, Mare had overheard the two Supreme Beings talking and asked what Halloween was exactly.

Bukubucuchagma spent the next few hours telling Mare all about the holiday to which he listened carefully to every single word that she spoke. She did decide to change a few things however, like how instead of candy they only got powdered drink mixes and food pills when they went door to door and how the atmosphere was so polluted that they had to wear masks anytime they stepped foot outside.

Mare of course shared the stories with his sister Aura, and from there it spread like wildfire throughout the Tomb, before the Supreme Beings even could realize what was happening all the NPCs of Nazarick were preparing costumes using information that they gathered from the library on the ninth floor of Nazarick to make the holiday perfect for their masters.

They had settled on having the party on the first three floors of Nazarick as they would be the floors that would best match the theme of the holiday, the Homunculus Maids had created a feast of Halloween themed food and with the help of some of Shalltear's Vampire Brides they redecorated the first three floors to be perfect.

Peroroncino was brought back to reality when he felt something pulling on each one of his arms, he shook his head from side to side slightly and looked down to see the bright smiles of the Dark Elf twins. His sister had helped the twins with their costumes, when he tried to speak up and say that they could do it themselves, he got his ears almost ripped off by the angry slime as she shouted things at him like "It's a mother's job to help her children!''. Aura was wearing a brown leather jacket and tan pants, with a brown fedora resting on the top of her head and her whip proudly fashioned to her hip.

Then he turned his head and looked at Mare, Peroroncino did honestly feel bad for the young boy, even for his Halloween costume he couldn't escape his sister's fantasy of having the twins crossdressing. "I am Aura, everyone seems to be having a great time.'' "Y-yes I am...thank you for asking my Lord.'' Mare weakly responded as his grip on his broomstick tightened up slightly, Peroroncino raised up his right arm and started patting the boy's head gently as he smiled at his sister's creations.

"Alright, now you two run along and enjoy yourselves while you can and don't eat too much candy." Peroroncino said sternly as he waved the two children off to go and rejoin the party.

"Okay! Have a good night Lord Peroroncino!" Aura said loudly in an enthusiastic tone as she turned around and ran off into the crowd of NPCs.

Peroroncino's attention had now been directed towards the large bustling crowd of NPCs. The NPC that stood out the most was Cocytus, he went to the library a few days prior and spent the day researching as many great warriors as possible to choose the best possible outfit. Like everyone in Nazarick he would not dare to make his costume based off one of the Forty One Supreme Being, so he had to look towards other great warriors instead. He held a sword in each hand, two of the swords blades were green, while the other two were blue and he added the odd cough whenever he spoke.

Demiurge was draped in a dark black cloak with a white undershirt that had small specks of blood on it as compared to his usual red suit, he had a number of potions, vials, and other medical equipment dangling from his belt. To cover his face he wore a Plague Doctor's mask, he was actually given the mask by Peroroncino as it had been one of his old pieces of equipment that eventually just became so low leveled he had to get a new one. Around his neck he wore a crimson scarf and on his right hand he had a bladed glove.

Sebas had even gotten into the spirit of Halloween with his own costume, though he did not need to do much to her regular outfit. He wore his regular tailored suit with a bloody pencil in his right hand, in his left hand he held a leash that was connected to a dog that followed him around, though the dog was simply an accessory pet item that he had borrowed from the treasury and would do anything he ordered it to do, though it did not have much in the form of combat ability so Player's had mostly used them for looks.

The only Floor Guardian that he could pick out of the crowd was Albedo, though he assumed that she was still being yelled at by her sister. She had first arrived at the party in an extremely revealing costume that could barely even be classified as clothing by any definition. Luckily Bukubukuchagama had managed to cover the twins eyes and have Yuri lead them away while she dragged Albedo out of the Chapel with her to educate her on why her choice of outfit was inappropriate for the event.

His sister had put in a good effort for her costume too, using an item stored in the treasury she turned her pinkish red slime into a dark purplish blue hue. The True Vampire smiled brightly as she nodded and turned around and started to slowly walk towards the door to the Chapel, people stepped to the side and cleared a path for the Floor Guardian and Supreme Being as they exited the large room and into the hallway. Peroroncino could not see too well in the dark so he relied on his creation as she walked slightly ahead of him leading him through the dark stone hallways towards their destination.

A few minutes later and Peroroncino could no longer hear the loud noise of the party that they had left behind and only heard the soft sounds of Shalltear walking in front of him "Are we almost there?" he asked a few minutes later of silent walking.

"Yes Lord, just a little farther." Shalltear instantly responded as she turned her head around to look back at her beloved master, Peroroncino could see his creations' crimson eyes standing out from the darkness around them and smiled slightly at the comforting sight. Shalltear unlike her creator could see extremely well in the darkness, while the colours blended together slightly more she could still make out even the smallest of details about her creators beautiful presence.

Like Shalltear had promised, only a few minutes later of walking and the Supreme Being could see a bright candle at the end of the hallway they turned down. They stopped in front of the door that had the bright candle burning next to it and Shalltear smiled up at her creator "Here we are~" she seductively whispered. Peroroncino knee exactly where he was now, in front of him was Shalltear's room.
