Bismarck scanned the town as the battlegroup sat quietly near Brownsboro. The town was smoking, with folks running here and there to find a way to escape the settlement. However there was no sign of the enemy anywhere. The intel was spot on so far.

Montana looked uncomfortable as her former enemy lowered her binoculars. "No sign of der Grimm. But zat does not mean zat zey are not zere."

Montana nodded. "We don't have much time, The Atlesians are taking their time to get here! We need to start the operation now."

Bismarck nodded in agreement. "Start der clock. Ahll battleships line up in a row. Prepare to fire on my signal."

Yamato and Warspite began to align themselves as Montana and Bismarck did the same. To avoid scaring the populace, Commander Arc made it clear that all Kansens needed to be in their ship forms at all times. As the cruisers and destroyers began to form up in packs. The Battleships lined up and rotated their turrets to their starboard side.

Bismarck began to bark her next set of Orders. "Maury, Z-23. Begin security patterns around der battleships. Keep ahn eye out for any Grimm.

Atlanta, San Diego, Takao, you are Group 1. Remain in ship form ahnd start efacuations.

Myoko, Prinz Eugen, York, you are Group 2. Stand by to rotate vith Group 1 vhen zey begin to sail toward der carrier's."

The girls nodded and with Takao taking point, Group 1 began raving toward the docks at full speed. If all went to plan, nothing would occur and the evacuation would be successful with everyone safe on board the carriers.

But fate loves to be a bitch to Bismarck.

Suddenly Z-23's voice was heard to the south. "Zere! Up in der shky! Grimm in der shape of birds! Bearing down on us!"

All eyes turned to see a horde of black crow like birds gliding toward the girls. Bismarck did not need to say anything as Maury raced up to Z-23 and together as one, opened up on their anti aircraft guns.

The Nevermore Grimm were bearing down on the girls in a straight line. Their experience in fighting Huntsmen and Atlas military made them almost cocky.

They squawked in surprise as black smoke exploded around them, sending fragments into them. The leading creatures never knew what hit them as they were killed instantly while many others began to lose their taste of combat as they felt themselves get torn apart. Who were these humans? How were they killing mass amounts of them in seconds?

Bismarck watched the massacre unfold. She knew better than to get arrogant. Enterprise once told her, that there was a book for the American military that said, "If the battle is too easy, then you are walking into a trap."

It appears those words held true, as she glanced towards the field outside the town, and saw a black mass of creatures heading towards Brownsboro.

'So much for ahn easy fight.' She thought as she brought her mains guns online.

The villagers looked at the incoming Grimm and watched as the militia tried to hold them off at bay. Their efforts were almost laughable as their rounds did little.

Somewhere in the crowd, a small orphaned mouse Faunus hid under a table and held her crudely made doll. She closed her eyes and began praying for something to save her.

All of a sudden...

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The sound of explosions resonated around her and the ground violently shook. She tried desperately to hold on to the legs of the table as the explosions continued. Never before had she felt such power.

Crawling out of her hiding place, she saw people crouching down or staring out of the holes in the walls. Looking out as well, what she saw amazed her.

The horde of Grimm that were minutes away from getting to the gate, were being destroyed as massive explosions ripped into the ground. The mouse Faunus stared at the carnage until she heard a wizzing sound and she looked out to sea.

Unknown ships were coming to the docks. There were cheers all around, but the girl was not cheering, she was too awestruck at the ship that was sending the big rounds down on the Grimm. Though she was far away, the girl shuddered as she had only one thing in her little mind.

'Who are they'

At Azur Lane Base:

Commander Arc stood in his office gazing out into the ocean. The water was peaceful, calm, and yet he knew that such peace will not last. But he could not think of anything further, as there was a knock on his door.

He turned to see his submarine assistant, U-556 bound into the room with a skip to herself. In her hands was a wad of papers clumsily put together by the small girl. Jaune gave a small grin as 556 cane to a stop.

"Hail Commander! Lord Bismarck ahnd her group has engage der enemy!" She said excitedly. Instantly the smile on Jaune's face was gone. Engaged? They were to rendezvous with the company of soldiers from Atlas as well as the huntsman team from Beacon. His eyes furrowed. He trusted Bismarck with his life, but this felt off. The intelligence said the Grimm were not supposed to be in the area. Why would the girls be in combat?

Turning around he looked at 556, who had set down the pile of papers and was on her tippy toes trying to grab a jar of cookies he had on a counter. Walking over he grabbed it and handed the whole thing to the submarine.

"556," he said, making the girl look up to him. "What's on your mind?"

U-556 lost her smile. "I'm scared for Lord Bismarck." She said. "I am smiling because she is with friends, but I am not there to protect her."

Jaune nodded. Bismarck and U-556's relationship was adorable in its own way. Bismarck gave U-556 her own band when the sub could not afford such a thing. In return, 556 pledged to Bismarck that she would have her back no matter what. Over time, Bismarck cared for the sub like her child, helping her with her assignments, tucking her in, even spending days off with her. And it wasn't just them either.

Tirpitz usually got dragged with them, along with Prinz Eugen and Hipper.

Jaune nodded toward the girl and picked up a page from the pile 556 brought in. It was a report from Scharnhorst. Someone tried to get into the base. Female, black hair, wielded a semblance based on fire. The intruder was sighted by the Ironblood raider and stopped by the Cleveland sisters. While they suffered almost no damage, the intruder escaped, somehow miraculously surviving a round from Hood, who arrived on scene.

After a while he let out a breath.

"556," He said. "Contact Enterprise, and let her know that I am sending Belfast, Sheffield, and Edinburgh to Beacon. Something is going on there, and I need the best in terms of espionage to find it out for me."

The sub nodded and turned to leave when Jaune gave her something else. "And grab two subs and be ready to make haste to Bismarck's location. If Biscuit's in a fight, I want her to have the tools needed for every situation that may come her way."

The sub looked at her Commander and gave him a smile, before rushing out. Jaune then clasped his hand behind his back as he returned to his chair. "This is gonna be a very long day."

"Interesting" Salem smirked. She stood watching the firefight between the unknown ships and her Grimm attacking the Faunus settlement.

These ships seem to process power that made the military at Atlas look small and weak.

She chuckled. It mattered little. Soon the world would burn and even theses ship would not save it.

However someone else had other things in mind.

In a far away area, away from human or Faunus eyes, a figure came out of the forest. He wore a white tunic with silver and gold armor. He had only a sword and nothing else.

He gazed out of the horizon and saw two streaks, one yellow, and one purple arrive from the sky. So the brothers have returned. Maybe to enforce their will on the newcomers.

The man sighed. They failed to see the error of their ways. They made fools of themselves playing as gods. And therefore, they broke a rule.

That was why he was sent here.

In no way were the two brothers to interfere with this world any longer. Nor the newcomers. If they did so, they would face the wrath of the Almighty.

And so with a slight grunt, the figure began to walk toward the streaks.

Time to have a talk with the God of Light and God of Darkness.
