For some reason he couldn't quite understand, Sasuke couldn't tear his eyes away from her. Her face still damp, her hair soaking wet, nothing he'd never seen before. Yet he was entranced in the defining features of her face. He stepped away from the bath, his darling still in his arms. Typically, at this point, Sasuke would set Sakura down and give her a kiss before sending her off to bed.

Not tonight.

He moved without thinking, his body taking control over his mind. He swiftly made his way out of the bathroom and through the hall in the opposite direction of her bedroom to his own quarters. As he walked her towel slipped slightly, her legs and collar exposed to the crisp-feeling air that touched her skin. His eyes kept forward, his hand leaving her back just to open and shut his door with them on the other side. Soon Sakura felt the softness of bedsheets coupled with the firmness of a mattress. Her towel fell, lying just over the edge of the bed. Typically, something like this would still make her blush. But tonight was no ordinary night, there was nothing for her to fear. She felt the familiar taste- his mouth against her own, moving slightly, just enough to leave her wanting more. Her hands slipped against his scalp, soft black hair between each finger, she held him close.

He moved to her ear, laying soft kisses one by one behind and lower, around her jaw. Her soft moaning as he paid extra attention to her was music to his ears. With one hand, he began rubbing her chest slowly. He didn't want to rush, there was no sense in that. Sakura moaned once more at his touch, feeling her nipples beginning to stiffen.

They moved slowly, unified, unable to find reality even if they'd wanted to.

They didn't.

Sasuke watched her face scrunch as he entered her. He pressed his lips to her forehead and softly asked, "are you okay".

She simply nodded back, though clearly in pain. He didn't push her to confess though, he knew, if she wanted him to stop, she would tell him. He hooked one arm underneath her knee and lifted her legs apart, believing if she were a bit more open maybe she would be in less pain.

He moved. He rocked his hips, slowly, against her body, inside her body. Her arms that had just been grazing his hair now wrapped around his neck, holding him, clinging him to her. Despite the pain she was enduring, she didn't want him anywhere else. She wanted to hold him, have him in her arms. To be able to kiss him, touch him, speak to him. Be truly them without having to pretend their relationship was something it wasn't.

She loved Sasuke Uchiha. She was truly, madly, deeply in love with him. She fell more and more in love each and every day they spent together. Her life was bliss whenever she was with him. During their private moments, she was sure that the rest of the world ceased to exist. While they were apart, she was missing him with every fiber of her being.

"Sas...uke..." She breathed, rocking along with him. She felt herself closing in on her orgasm- she felt her body tightening around him, her muscles tensing for the final few seconds before release.

She wanted to scream. She did scream. Only it was muffled by Sasuke's kiss. His tongue swirling around her own, his arms slipping around her back and holding her closely. It made her feel incredible. As she came off her high, her heart still felt like it was pounding harder than ever. She pulled her lips away from Sasuke and slipped her fingers in his hair, too breathless to speak. Sasuke's face was flushed and he didn't speak either. Rather, he shifted off of her and lay on his side, pulling her body close once more. Sakura still felt sticky with sweat and Sasuke's body was hot but she didn't care. She was just happy to be held.

"Stay in here tonight, okay?' Sasuke whispered, leaving a few chaste kisses at the back of her neck a few times. She simply nodded.

"I'm sleepy." The girl quietly replied, her lover not saying anything in return. He was exhausted too. The two lovebirds fell into a peaceful sleep, Sasuke's arms around Sakura's torso and their legs tangled within one another. Neither one moved an inch while they slept, their breathing evenly matched.

Once morning came, Sasuke awoke first. He had early lessons. He peeled himself away from Sakura and gently roused her. As much as he adored seeing her long pink hair strewn around her pillow, her eyelids twitch, and as much as he loved to listen to her sleepy sighs, he had to wake her. He didn't want to risk her getting in trouble for not being up to make breakfast for the family.

"Good morning Sasuke-kun..." She greeted, a wide smile pulling across her face. He smiled back and told her of his daily lessons. She sat up, noticing finally that she'd just been in a towel when they decided to come to Sasuke's bedroom. The girl stretched a bit before mentioning it too Sasuke.

"I'll go get your clothes!" He offered, hopping out of bed. He quickly got dressed himself, pulling on a pair of dark jeans and a red crew-cut shirt. Long-sleeved, as winter was approaching quickly. He ducked out of his bedroom and snuck off to her's, fetching her usual attire and bringing it back. She got dressed quickly and they made their way out of the bedroom, parting ways without even a kiss. Her stomach churned at their departure, her mind flooding with repetitive thoughts.

Of course, a kiss wasn't necessary each time the two parted ways. It was just a want, not a need. Still not getting his kisses throughout the day brought on a sour mood. She entered the kitchen and began preparing the family's usual Tuesday breakfast, ensuring her mise en place was complete before even touching the stove. Without Izumi, it took her a bit longer to get everything finished.

Hopefully they won't notice.

As she finished preparing the family's meals, she carried out their plates two by two. As was customary, she began with the patriarch and his wife. Sasuke's father still made her stomach drop and his mother was... out of sight. As she brought out the first two plates she noticed the same girl Itachi was set to marry also at the table. Reacting quickly, Sakura hurriedly made a third plate. The next two she brought out she granted to Itachi and his fiancée, then the last she brought to her darling Sasuke.

Then she waited in the corner.

"Sakura." Fugaku's voice roared in her ears. Her heart picked up.

"Y-yes, sir?"

"Young-mi is our guest. She should be served first, don't you agree?"

The girl felt her throat close as she listened to his words. Somehow still, she managed a reply.

"Yes, sir. My apologies." She meekly responded. She didn't think it made sense for a girl from a foreign country to be served before the head of the family, but then again it wasn't her place to have an opinion anyway.

Sakura stayed quiet through the rest of the family's breakfast and made sure she cleaned up after Young-mi first, then Itachi, then move on to Sasuke's parents. All the while Sasuke did not speak a word to her, he hardly even glanced in her direction.

Is he mad at me?

Sakura spent the first half of her morning preparing for lunch and the second half washing laundry. It was all mindless to her by now, she simply did her tasks as her mind spun.

What did I do?
