Ryoko flew in the air in her other form as Inuyasha and Shippo and Myoga were riding her to head towards where Naruto is. But just when they were almost there a dark storm clouds appears. "Hey get your hands off of me you creep!" Naruto yells at Manten as Hiten smirks at Inuyasha while Manten brings out Naruto.
"Inuyasha hand over the shards of the jewel or you'll never see your lover again!" Hiten yells at him making both Naruto and Inuyasha look at each other. "His/my lover? Is this guy serious?" Both Naruto and Inuyasha think at the same time. They both then looked at each other from where they were and shook their heads a bit. "As if I'd be with a brat/jerk like him!" They both think at the same time again Mantan sees this and sweats drops a bit. "I think my brother has gotten it wrong this time." He thinks to himself when he sees that they actually looked at each other with annoyance.
But despite all that Hiten flies down and begins to attack Inuyasha for the jewel shards causing him to draw out his sword as his weapon collided with the eldest thunder demon brother as they fought each other Naruto was able to cut the rope on his wrists with a knife hidden inside his shoe. "I gotta help Inuyasha." Naruto thinks to himself as he begins to sneakily cut the rope with said knife he smiles to himself when his wrists are freed and after that he worked on the rope around his ankles while Mantan was watching his brother fight Inuyasha.
When Naruto was freed he sees Mantan about to shoot a bolt of lightning at Inuyasha from his mouth making Naruto scowl and glare at the lizard like demon. "Hey you don't fight dirty!" Naruto yells at him as he pushes him off the cloud making him grin at that when he sees him hit the ground face first. "That's one down." Naruto says with a big grin which quickly wipes off his face when the cloud fades away underneath him making him fall from the sky screaming. Inuyasha looks up from his fight when he sees this as his eyes widen in terror he wanted to go over there and help him but unfortunately Hiten wasn't going to let that happen anytime soon. Jut when Naruto thought it was going to be the end for him Ryoko and Shippo swoops in and saves him as Naruto lands safely on Ryoko's back.
"Shippo! Ryoko!" Naruto says with a smile on his face feeling so happy to see them. They then land on the ground in the place where Mantan was when suddenly Mantan whom they thought was dead gets up from the ground and begins to attack them causing Shippo to use his Fox magic and sent out his top at Mantan which drills on top of his head when he was distracted Naruto and Shippo and Ryoko runs away quickly. "Damn it if only I had my bow on me." Naruto says to himself when he then sees the top stops spinning on Mantan's head and his final piece of hair has fallen off of his head.
Naruto automatically pales when he sees this since he remembered what happened last time when some hairs fallen off the demon's head. "Shippo I suggest we run now." Naruto says to him making him nod his head in agreement. "You don't need to tell me twice Naruto." He says and they automatically began to split and run just when Mantan began to attack them with his lightning attacks. "You have plucked my last strands of hair!" Mantan shouts out angrily at them.
They both kept running until they both came to a forest to hide as they were hiding behind a tree in a ditch of some kind. "Ugh we can't keep running forever." Naruto says to himself trying to think about what they should do when Naruto looks at Mantan's mouth and looks at the arrow and gets an idea. "That's it if I can somehow get that arrow I can use it but first I need a bow." Naruto says to himself giving Shippo an idea. "Oh wait Naruto I can transform into a bow for you." He says to him making Naruto grin at that. "Great but first we need to lure him into our trap." Naruto says to him as he weaves through a hand sign.
Mantan walks around as he shoots another bolt of lightning revealing Naruto whom was now unconscious he approaches it and attempts to grab him when suddenly he poofs revealing it was actually a clone shocking Mantan whom then screams in pain when the arrow was ripped out of him. "Okay Shippo come on let's go!" Naruto yells out to him and they ran away quickly once Naruto had the arrow.
Mantan clutches onto his muzzle that was now bleeding as he looks up at Naruto and glares at him hatefully. "That little brat I'll use him for my hair growing potion yet." He says angrily growling out the words. Once they were far away enough Shippo turns into a bow. But right before Naruto could use the bow he was tackled to the ground by Mantan whom begins to strangle him. Naruto chokes out as Shippo tries to get him away from Naruto along with Ryoko but Mantan simply uses his lightning powers on them blowing them away.
After that he tightened his hold on Naruto's neck and begins to squeeze harder making Naruto wheeze and choke. "Help...Inuyasha." Naruto calls out to him weakly while holding onto Mantan's hands trying to pry them off of his throat but his grip was like iron.
Inuyasha whom was still fighting against Hiten see this as he glares at Mantan while looking at Naruto with sorry. "Naruto!" He yells out giving Hiten the chance to knock him down as the eldest brother smirks at Inuyasha holding his weapon close to his neck. "Pathetic. You don't live up to your reputation. Human compassion will prove your undoing, half breed. Which should die first, this cursed wretch or that odd boy he's preoccupied with?" Hiten asked him in a mocking tone making Inuyasha glare at him.
"I'll deal with this loser afterward. I've gotta save Naruto first." Inuyasha thinks to himself while glaring at Hiten and moving his attention to Naruto and Mantan as Naruto was still struggling underneath Mantan trying to free himself making the demon smile in sadistic glee enjoying his suffering completely. But as he was strangling Naruto, Shippo attacks Mantan again trying to save Naruto. "Let him go!" Shippo yells at him as he bites on his Mantan's neck refusing to let go at all Ryoko would of helped as well but she was laying unconscious on the ground while this was going on Inuyasha stands up and puts his hand on his injured shoulder where blood was leaking out making sure to drench his claws in it.
"Blades of blood!" He yells out and uses it on Hiten to distract him after that Inuyasha grabs his sword and then throws it at Mantan impaling him with his sword making Hiten's eyes widen in horror while Mantan releases his grip on Naruto's neck making him cough and rub his throat he then looks at Shippo and goes up to him and picks him up gently in his arms.
"Oh Shippo. The Tetsusaiga. I've got to bring it to Inuyasha." Naruto says and grabs it as Shippo asked Naruto not to leave his father making Naruto nod his head. "Don't worry I'll get your father as well." Naruto says and grabs Shippo's father whom has sadly been turned into a pelt. "Mantan!" Hiten yells out and rushes over to his dying brother. "Naruto get out of the way quickly or else he's gonna kill you!" Inuyasha yells to him making Naruto nod his head and he runs towards him while dodging Hiten's attack once he got close to Inuyasha, Naruto hands him the sword as he stands next to him while they watched Hiten mourn over his brother.
"You wretches you slaughtered my brother!
My dear Mantan. Rest assured that we shall always be as one brother." He said finally as he then bites into his younger brother's head swallowing the jewel shards. "Well things have gotten a whole lot worst." Naruto says while still holding onto an unconscious Shippo making Inuyasha nod his head in agreement.
Hiten then flies over to them as he now stood before Inuyasha and Naruto glaring at them hatefully with the thirst and hunger for vengeance burning inside him. "How dare you strike down my beloved brother? I shall not stop till I've returned the deed." Hiten says to him in a menacing tone of voice. "His thunder pike is even stronger than it was before he has the power of five jewel shards now and I have a real fight on my hands." Inuyasha thinks to himself knowing things were going to get a lot more dangerous.
"Naruto, take Shippo and get as far away from here as you're able to." Inuyasha tells Naruto while standing up making Naruto's eyes widen at that looking at him like he was insane. "But we can't just leave you." Naruto says to him feeling worried for him knowing that yes Inuyasha is strong but he knew that with Hiten now possessing the power of five jewel shards it was going to be a lot more dangerous than it was before and that he was scared that Inuyasha might...Naruto frowns a bit not wanting to think of the outcome.
"Do it now." Inuyasha tells him not going to take any room for any arguing at all so Naruto reluctantly nods his head. "I don't really have much choice after all I don't have my bow on me and I don't know many jutsus that would be helpful in this battle at the moment so I guess I'll back out from this battle for now." Naruto thinks to himself as he runs off somewhere to hide with Shippo while making sure to be somewhere close by.
"I shall avenge my brother! Prepare to die!" Hiten yells at Inuyasha raising his weapon into the air making thunder strike down at him. Inuyasha looks at it knowing he couldn't dodge it. "My lord use the sheath of tetsusaiga." Myoga tells Inuyasha making the half demon look at Myoga wondering what he was talking about and Myoga tells him that the sheath will stave off the lightning bolt. "You'd better be right." Inuyasha says to Myoga and takes the sheath and uses it to help deflect Hiten's attack.
When the attack died down Hiten was annoyed to see a giant crater but no dead Inuyasha. Inuyasha then decides to use the sheath to defeat Hiten but after deflecting another attack from him he screams in pain when he was stabbed in the back by Hiten causing him to fall to the ground which Naruto was forced to see making his eyes widen in horror. "Inuyasha!" Naruto yells out knowing he has to do something. Shippo then wakes up and finds himself curled up next to his father's fur he then sits up and looks at Naruto whom crouches down to his level.
"Shippo you okay?" He asked the young Kitsune as Ryoko whom was now awake and sitting on Naruto's shoulder meows asking if he was okay too. "Naruto? Ryoko? What happened to Mantan?" Shippo asked him making Naruto try to calm him down. "Inuyasha had killed Mantan but now his older brother Hiten is thirsty for revenge over his brother's death." Naruto tells him while he looks and watches Inuyasha and Hiten continue to fight making Naruto clench his fists. "I can't just sit around and do nothing I have to help Inuyasha." Naruto says to himself he then looks at Hiten's flying wheels on his feet and gets an idea.
"Shippo quickly turn into a bow." Naruto says to Shippo making him nod his head and turn into a bow. Naruto then picks up Shippo and aims the arrow. "This is it I'll have to make this count." Naruto says knowing that he has to time it just right. Naruto takes a deep breath and shoots the arrow at Hiten's wheels hitting one of them making him cheer. "Alright!" Naruto yells out pumping his fist in the air.
Hiten then comes down to the ground and Inuyasha grabs his thunder pike whodunnit Myoga called him a fool for doing so and then Inuyasha punches Hiten in face knocking him away. Myoga then dances and cheers Inuyasha on making Naruto sweat drop. "Weren't you calling him a fool a few minutes ago?" Naruto asked him with a deadpan expression on his face.
Hiten wipes his mouth which was now bleeding. Hiten goes to strike Inuyasha again his entire body glowing causing Inuyasha to quickly grab his sheath and block his attack making it crack a bit making both Naruto's and Shippo's eyes widen at this. Naruto knowing that he had to do something quickly darted his eyes around when he spots the Tetsusaiga next to Mantan's dead corpse. Shippo following Naruto's gaze runs towards it causing Naruto to quickly grab his father's pelt and runs after him knowing how dangerous it was.
Hiten hearing Naruto's and Shippo's voices turns to them and sees them as Hiten began to fire up a bolt of lightning in his mouth like how his brother can making Inuyasha's eyes widen at this knowing Hiten has also gained his brother's abilities along with the jewel shards. "Naruto! Run for it!" Inuyasha yells out to him but by the it was too late as Naruto and Shippo turned around and looked at in horror at the giant bolt of lightning heading straight towards them which quickly engulfed them causing them to scream making Inuyasha's eyes widen at this while Hiten smirks at that.
"Ha. Wouldn't waste my breath on him." Hiten says sadistically while Inuyasha felt his heart being squeezed. "Naruto!" Inuyasha yells out while Hiten laughs. "What a shame it seems that boy and that Fox child are dead." Hiten says to Inuyasha mocking him making Inuyasha to growl in rage and without Hiten or Myoga noticing it a single tear comes down Inuyasha's face as an image of Naruto's smiling face pops into his head. "You'll pay for this." Inuyasha says to Hiten hatefully.
"You've slaughtered my friends! Damn you!" Inuyasha yells at him and heads butts him. "You'll regret the day you ever crossed me. I promise you that." Inuyasha growls at him. Hiten simply smirks and digs himself a deeper grave with what he says next. "I think the blood has gone to your head ever since you lost your lover, what is he to you exactly? A little toy for you to fuck?" He asked him evilly making Inuyasha growl at him for what he said. How dare this demon no this work disrespected Naruto, he may of found him frustrating sometimes but despite all that he cared deeply for Naruto more than he actually realized it without even knowing at that moment he was also starting to gain some feelings for him as well.
And just when the sheath was about to break it began to pulse summoning the sword nearby once it landed in Inuyasha's hands he used it to gain the upper hand and defeat Hiten killing him and ending his and his brother's carnage forever. The jewel shards falls to the ground but Inuyasha didn't even care about them anymore feeling regret over Naruto's and Shippo's deaths. "Inuyasha." Naruto says making Inuyasha turn and see Naruto and Shippo before him with them both smiling at him with Shippo in Naruto's arms.
"Inuyasha you fought the battle hard and well I knew you could win." Naruto says to him with a smile on his face. "And in the end I was finally able to avenge my father." Shippo says to him smiling at Inuyasha as well they were both surrounded in a blue fire of some kind. "Witness the souls have to bid you a final farewell before they make their departure to the other side." Myoga says to Inuyasha making his heart shatter at that.
"Wait! Don't leave me!" Inuyasha yells out and he runs towards Naruto and quickly grabs his hand as the fire disappears which takes the form of a Kitsune. "Naruto!" Inuyasha yells out thinking that Naruto's soul has departed for the afterlife along with Shippo's but then he looks and to his shock finds him very much alive. "Inuyasha?" Naruto says while blushing when he saw that he was holding his hand. "But hey, you're still here." Inuyasha says leaning his face close to Naruto's face feeling confused at what was going on but also relieved that he was still alive still unaware that he was still holding his hand.
"Yeah Umm what's with the whole ummm don't leave me stuff?" Naruto asked him with a confused tone in his voice. Shippo watches the fire disappears making Shippo know it was his father's soul and foxfire to protect them. Inuyasha glares at Myoga whom gulps nervously. "I should clarify when I said souls I really meant to say foxfire that shot out from the fur of Shippo's father." Myoga says to him making Inuyasha's right eye twitch with annoyance.
"Yeah sure I make that mistake all the time." Inuyasha says but clearly sounding annoyed. "Umm Inuyasha you're Umm still holding my hand." Naruto says to him blushing a bit making Inuyasha look and blush as well. He then let's go of his hand his face still blushing. "This is all your fault for that sappy "you fought the good fight" line. Die if you're gonna die! It's not like it matters to me any!" Inuyasha says to him crossing his arms trying to cover up his embarrassment making Naruto and Shippo even more confused. "Damn it his hand was so soft." Inuyasha thinks to himself while his face was still a bright red as he couldn't believe he held his hand he felt so stupid and embarrassed while his heart was beating a mile per hour while Naruto's own heart was beating as well.
