Here it is! Battle for New York!
Okay, here's the dealeo, Sealeo…
Donatello trusted me to guard his retro-mutagen experiment during the night. He specifically told me not to let Michelangelo touch it. He knows I'm going to if he wants to help, so I don't know why he assigned me to do this. And, he owes me seven or nine extra hours of sleep. I was up all freaking night. Nyata insisted I get a few hours of sleep, but I told her what happened. She agreed with me; I shouldn't be staying up all night like this.
I gave Apollo the job to keep Donatello away from his experiment as long as he can so Michelangelo could do his thing. He's gonna kill me for it, but hey, it's his own fault.
Michelangelo and Ice Cream Kitty are both wearing goggles. Michelangelo talks in a pretty good British accent, "I do believe this plutonium will react flawlessly with these sodium bicarbonates. What do you think, Professor Ice Cream Kitty?" She meowed and began cleaning herself. "I am going to take that as a yes." I said in a British accent, playing along.
Heaven forbid, Apollo couldn't hold Donatello off forever. He facepalms when Donatello sees what we're doing. I know what's gonna happen next, and I'm not gonna let it happen. "Before you say anything, I–" Furious, Donatello gets up in my face.
"I gave you one simple job to do! But typical Marcus! You let him mess with the retro Mutagen!" He screams in my face. "That's the one thing I told you not to do!"
"If you knew this would happen, then why did you let me guard it? If he wants to help, I'm gonna let him help." I spat. "I don't want his help!" He shouts. "You're getting it anyway!"
He's trying not to take his anger out on me, but I know he wants to. "I can't trust you with anything. You make a worse guard dog than a Saint Bernard, and you saw a horror movie about one." He rudely pushes past me. Did he… really just say that? Doesn't matter. Besides, I'm not a dog, even though sometimes I wish I was one. However, if I had a choice of being a breed of dog for the rest of my life, I would most likely choose the Siberian Husky. Or maybe a Golden Retriever...
"I held him back as long as I could." Apollo said. "It's okay." I told him, patting his head. The two fought over the plutonium Michelangelo tried making, the latter a drop falling into the retro-mutagen. "HA!" I mocked. Then the retro mutagen starts fizzing, "It's gonna explode!" I heard from Donatello. It looked like it was going to explode, but it didn't. Okay, then...
Donatello turned to me with an enraged look on his face, then the two of us started wrestling on the floor. "I am gonna teach you such a lesson-!" Donatello threatened, but not before Kijani pressure-pointed Donatello. "What is going on in here?" He asked. April walks in. "Since when did retro-mutagen start doing that?" she asked. I look over to a batch of retro-mutagen, which is now sparkling. Beats me, but we're about to find out.
We all sit in the living room while Donatello scans the mutant cells with his microscope. Michelangelo was trying to make Plutonium for the retro-mutagen by stuffing different things in it. Donatello tried to stop him, but a drop of Michelangelo's concoction fell into the retro-mutagen. It was going to explode, but it didn't.
"Wow! It's bonding rate is phenomenal! Haha, I can't believe it! This will save me months of lab work! Okay, let me see. One small drop and I'm able to transform an entire vial of mutagen into retro-mutagen!" Donatello explained with a laugh as he turned mutagen into retro-mutagen. I gape in amazement. Somehow, Michelangelo had made retro-mutagen? "You two are awesome!" Donatello exclaimed.
"I know," Michelangelo replied, playing with one of his action figures and a slice of pizza. "Don't rub it in. Now, I believe you owe me..."
"An apology, I know. I'm sorry I attacked you."
"I accept your apology."
"Did we step into some kinda alternate dimension here?" Raphael asked. "Don't push it," I growled. "Okay, what chemicals did you use to help create the rapid cellular bonding?" Donatello asked. "Photographic memory? Yes. But I don't remember everything he put in it." I said, turning to Michelangelo.
"Uh, I think I added a bunch of stuff like uranate, anolite, uh, moronic acid, and some, uh, garlic-cappuccino pizza?" Michelangelo answers sheepishly. Uh... I don't have the entire periodic table memorized, but I think one of those chemicals are real. "Nope. Same dimension," Raphael said. I rolled my eyes at him. "Are you kidding me? You do one awesome thing and you can't even remember how you did it?!" Donatello said angrily. Nyata growled at him, ears flattened.
"Donatello, you probably wouldn't have retro-mutagen right now if it wasn't for him," I hissed in defense. "Indeed, Donatello, be glad that Michelangelo's tomfoolery yielded the gift that it did. Focus on the goal at hand. You must find all the transformed people of New York and change them back," Splinter explained. But the city is almost empty. What could have happened while we were gone? A LOT.
"But, Sensei, we don't even know what happened to them," Leonardo remarks. "I think I know," April answers, and we all turn to her. "They were taken to Dimension X by the Kraang. I can see them in my dreams, millions of mutated humans trapped there," April points out.
"So we drop into TCRI, break into their portal, and zap ourselves to Dimension X," Raphael said, punching his fists. "Yo, we can do this! We can save New York!" Michelangelo exclaimed. "And I've got the perfect new invention to storm Dimension X!" Donatello exclaimed with a smile.
"A water tower. That's your new invention?" Leonardo replied. We were standing in front of a water tower… They all laughed. Except me and Nyata, of course. "Oh, man!" Michelangelo exclaimed. "It's not exactly what it appears to be," he retorted before he saw something. "Get down," he whispers and we all hid. I spotted a Kraang Stealth Ship flying around as it scans the area.
"They're scanning for humans," Leonardo whispers. two humans are spotted and are captured. They are thrown in front of the Kraang. "Prepare to be mutated by Kraang," a Kraang said. "Please! No!" the woman pleads. "Don't do it! No!" the man begs. Leonardo and I look at each other and nod before I push the two out of the way. "Phew! Are you two all right?" Leonardo said. "Yes! Thank you!" they exclaimed, running away. I turned around with a gasp. Nyata mauled the robot offline. "Thanks."
"Booyakasha!" Michelangelo exclaimed, spinning his nunchucks. "Let's kick some Kraang!" Raphael yells and we proceed to fight the Kraang. Unfortunately, we are outnumbered. "This isn't good, bros," Michelangelo comments. I growled, but it didn't do anything. I thought we were done for until a piece of bread was thrown at a Kraang. Huh? What's bread gonna do?
A Kraang picks it up and inspects it. "Oh, bread!" I heard with perked ears. Pigeon Pete flies down, taking down the Kraang droid! We all look in shock. I was not expecting that… it's been a while since I've last seen him. He turned to us. "Oh, hiya guys!" he exclaimed. I waved. Then something roars. I saw…
"Leatherhead!" Michelangelo and I shouted happily as he takes down a few Kraang. Someone appears and presses his fingers to his head. I gasp in realization. "Doctor Rockwell?" Donatello asked in disbelief. Didn't think I'd see him again, either. And he had a strange helmet on his head. Pigeon Pete laughs as he flies around. "Pigeon Pete?" Raphael asked. And then someone giant takes down the rest of the Kraang. I gasped and back away a bit. Aw yeah…
"You," Leonardo said as we look at Slash. He's alive! But what's he doing with Pete, Rockwell and Leatherhead? "Greetings, Turtles, Marcus! Long time no see," he replied with a roar. No longer able to contain my excitement, I rushed over to Slash and throw my arms around his neck. "Uh..." He's never actually hugged someone before, so he's not entirely sure what to do. But that's okay.
"I know, you're not much of a hugger. I'm just happy you're alive." I told him, squeezing his neck a bit tighter. He pat's my back with one hand, "I'm happy to see you too." I let him go. "Raphael, good to see you brother, and the rest of you. Turtles, Marcus, and, who's this?" Slash asked, noticing Nyata. "I'm Nyata, his girlfriend." Nyata answered, holding a paw out. Slash shook it. "Nice to meet you. Anyway, meet my team, dedicated to fighting the Kraang. The Mighty Mutaninals! Ya already know my second-in-command," he finishes as Leatherhead approaches.
"Leatherhead!" Michelangelo and I exclaimed. Michelangelo hugged him. "Heh, it's good to see you too, Marcus and Michelangelo. All of you," Leatherhead replied, hugging us back. Donatello and I stared at Dr. Rockwell, who was getting something out of his fur. "And what, dear boys, are you staring at?" he asked. "Sorry." I said, offended by his tone. "Doctor Rockwell?" Donatello asked. "Indeed! The Kraang experimented on my mind, giving me psychic powers and accidentally returning my vast intellect in the process!" he explained, hanging upside down and blowing a raspberry at Donatello.
So he has psychic powers now? Nice… I guess he's like Oranguru now. "Rockwell's the brains of the team. And this is the final member of the Mighty Mutanimals," Slash replied, gesturing to a shadow in the distance. Pigeon Pete reveals himself, a few pigeons surrounding him. "Pigeon Pete? The world's most useless mutant?" Raphael asked. I backhanded him in the shoulder. There are worse mutants than him. Kira's a heartless son of a gun. And when this ends, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.
"Hey!" Pigeon Pete exclaimed, stumbling a bit to the ground. I help him up. "Thanks, man. I've toughened up a lot since the last time you saw me! I was just a pigeon-boy, now I'm a pigeon-man. I'm the team spy!" he explained. "More like decoy," Raphael mutters and I glared at him. Slash throws some bread on the ground. "Ooh, bread!" Pigeon Pete said and immediately dives for it. I see he hasn't changed much. Honestly, I didn't really expect him to.
"Some leader, Slash. Using your teammate as bait!" Leonardo retorted. "You got a problem with that, Leonardo?" Slash asked. "You don't have much of a say in it, Leonardo. You'd use Michelangelo as bait, so back off." I hissed. "You tried to destroy us!" Leonardo angrily comments. "I wasn't right in the head then. It was the mutagen!" Slash answers, putting a hand on his head.
"He did help us, and everyone deserves a second chance," Michelangelo explained. I nodded, "Exactly." Leatherhead puts a hand on Slash's shoulder. "We trust him with our lives," he said. "That's a good thing to know." I purred. I mean, he only tried to kill us one time. He's my friend. Even after everything he said and put me, us, through.
"Come, Turtles and Marcus. Meet our benefactor. Then you will surely change your mind, Leonardo," Slash replied, starting to walk away, the others following. I glance at Leonardo. He sighs in defeat. "Fine. But if this is a trap, your shell is ours, Slash," Leonardo said before we start to follow the others to the Mighty Mutanimals' lair. "I'd like to see you try. And if you do, your shell is mine." I growled menacingly.
We arrive at a warehouse and as soon as we do, the Mighty Mutanimals disappear. "Huh?" Leonardo asked and a bright light shines in our eyes. I see a shadow behind it and we all pull out our weapons. "Greetings, Ninja Turtles and Marcus," I heard. I KNOW that voice… The shadow reveals himself to be… "Kurtzman?" Leonardo asked in shock. "Good to see you boys. Been a long time," Kurtzman said. "And you found your brother?" He asked, noticing Apollo. "I sure did." I said proudly.
"We thought you got mutated like the rest of New York!" Raphael exclaimed in shock. "I made it through. I tried to find you five, but you were gone. Fortunately, I tracked down these noble warriors to help keep up the fight against the Kraang," Kurtzman explained. "I wouldn't exactly call them all noble," Leonardo replied, glancing at Slash, who growls at his remark. So do I.
"No one on the outside knows what's really going on. The military, the media, they're no help. They're all controlled by the Kraang. But now that the turtles, and tigers, are back, we can stop the invasion, together!" Kurtzman finishes.
Oh? Cool. I get to work with a friend. "What?!" Leonardo and Slash exclaimed. "No way!" Leonardo shouted. "I'm not teamin' up with him!" Slash yells, gesturing to Leonardo. "That's enough!" Nyata shouted. "We can't afford to waste any more time. The Kraang have spent the last few months building a mutagen missile, which they're gonna fire at the earth itself," Kurtzman explained, showing us a slideshow.
A picture of a green woman pops up and my eyes widen. "What the everlasting hell is that?" Nyata asked. Kurtzman gasps and goes to the next slide. "Just ignore that," he tells us. I cross my arms, raising an eyebrow. "There's enough mutagen in that payload-"
"To mutate the earth into another Dimension X," Rockwell finishes, interrupting Donatello. "It's rude to finish other people's sentences, Rockwell," Donatello comments. "Well then, clearly you'll have to speak faster, Donatello." Rockwell argues, and they all start arguing, except Michelangelo and Leatherhead.
"I'm not gonna team up with some turtle," Slash said. Leonardo narrows his eyes. "Can't we just give pizza a chance?" Michelangelo asked as they all argue. I'm already pissed off, and these guys arguing isn't helping. In fact, all of this pent up anger is giving me a headache.
I roar to vent it out. The volume of my roar silenced everybody. "ENOUGH! All of you!" They all know not to talk back, to continue to do what angered me, when I'm pissed off. I think I need to make things a little less rivalry like between Leonardo and Slash.
I walk in between them. Rockwell makes an annoyed monkey noise next to me. I growl loudly in his face, and he shuts up instantly out of fear. "I don't know where you got the nerve to do that, but I do believe you know better. After all, you do have a vast intellect, don't you?" That was the best burn I could come up with. Nyata made an 'ooooh' sound while slightly giggling, "Savage."
Everyone else remains quiet as I make my way in between Slash and Leonardo. "Slash, allow me to settle this calmly, please." I calmly said to him. "Be my guest." He said. "Thank you." I turn to Leonardo and place both my paws on his shoulders. "Leonardo, I know you don't trust Slash right now. And I can't entirely blame you." I turn to Slash, "No offense."
"Not taken." He said. I turn back to Leonardo. "But he only tried to kill us one time. He wasn't in the right mind at the time being. The mutagen affected his brain. So you can't really blame him for his actions." Leonardo is taking in what I'm saying, I can tell. "You can't just hold a grudge against this. That's not like you. I'm asking you to trust him just this once. And after all this, you two can argue to your heart's content."
He thinks for a moment. "You're right." He said. He glances at Slash for a second. "Okay. I'll give him my trust." He said. "Thank you." I said gratefully. I turn to Slash again. "And Slash, you know I trust you. Try not to lose your cool with him. Okay?"
"Doesn't mean I have to like it. But, I'll do it, since you trust me." Slash said. "I wouldn't expect you to like it, big guy."
"Oh no! They found me! I don't know how, but they found me!" Kurtzman exclaimed. Didn't he say that when we met him? I looked around and see Kraang everywhere. "It is the ones called Turtles and the Tigers. And the others calling themselves the Mighty Mutanimals," a Kraang droid said. Wait, what?
"Get 'em!" Slash orders his team. During the fight, I notice Kurtzman trying to get something from his desk. "The Kraang intel!" he shouts. I raised an eyebrow. I guess it was important this time… a stray blast hits Kurtzman. I gasped. "Mr. Kurtzman! No!" Pigeon Pete shouts in dismay. Nyata covered her mouth in shock. Leatherhead picks him up. "Mutanimals, we're leaving!" Slash shouts. "Ninjas, Marcus, Nyata, fall back!" Leonardo orders and we all leave.
We're back, where we're treating Kurtzman's wounds. He groans. "All the intel I have on this Kraang missile is on this drive," he tells us, handing me a flash drive with a groan. "You, the Turtles, and Marcus have to work together," he explained. I frown at this. "I don't think that's a good idea," Leonardo replied. "Please don't start," I moan. "Whatever problem is between you, you both have a common purpose. We're running out of time," he said before closing his eyes. Oh no…
"Jack! Is he…?" Slash doesn't finish his question, since we all knew what he was going to ask. Splinter presses a finger to Jack's neck. "No. He is fine," he explained. "I'm going to need to cauterize the wound. We need alcohol, bandages, meds," April explained. Casey stands up. "I'm on it, Red. There's a pharmacy down the street. I'll hit for supplies," he replied before leaving. I had alcohol used on a wound one time, and it stung like hell. Peroxide is even worse.
"The seven of us will take care of him. You must unite and stop that missile before it is too late." Splinter orders. Donatello looks at his laptop. "I've got it! We can disable the guidance system, or better yet-" Rockwell pops his head from next to him. "Hack in and send the missile somewhere it can't do any harm!" he finishes.
"You stupid psychic chimp," Donatello retorted and Rockwell screeches in response. "Do I need to give you the same talk, or do my eyes make the message clear?" I spat, glaring at him. Half scared, Donatello answers with, "Your eyes make the message clear."
"Okay, we ninja in from above, and then we drop down and disarm the missile," Leonardo explained. "Forget it! I say ground attack. They won't even know what hit 'em," Slash argues. "A ground attack is way too risky!" Leonardo shouts, glaring at Slash. Raphael pushes them away from each other. "I think the only way this mission is gonna work is if we do both," he replied. "Forget it, Raphael. Leave this to the Mighty Mutanimals! Come on, guys! We're outta here!" Slash said and he jumps out the window. The other Mutanimals start to leave as well. "Leatherhead? Wait, hold up!" Michelangelo remarks, reaching out to them. "Just let 'em go," Leonardo comments. "I'm ready to kill someone now," I finished. Leonardo gulps.
"We need a way to drop down on that missile?" Leonardo replied, looking at the smartest of the group. "I've got something that just might work," he answers. Leonardo and Raphael groan as we look at the water tower again. "Not this again!" Raphael exclaimed. "Are we gonna flood the place?" Michelangelo asked. "It might work, as dumb as it sounds." I said. Donatello jumps up to the water tower. "Not exactly," he answers. "It's hard to take you seriously with things like this," Nyata said to Donatello, gesturing to the water tower. He turned a valve and the water tower opens up to reveal a blimp! "Whoa," Leonardo replied in awe.
"I give you…the Turtle Blimp!" Donatello explained. "Cool!" I exclaim. "Uh, what is it?" Michelangelo asked and I slap my forehead. We are now riding the Turtle Blimp. Leonardo and I look down at the city. "Marcus?" he asked. I turn to him. "I still can't believe all those dragons, and all those Pokémon, can't be happy where they are because of Kirā…" I explained softly, closing my eyes. Leonardo smiled at me and puts his hand on top of my paw. "It's okay. We're helping our city right now. We deal with him and those dragons and Pokémon afterwards." he answered.
He grins at me. "I promise after this, you will have a blast, cause I have a plan that can't possibly fail," I told him. "I'll hold you to that," Raphael looks down at something with a telescope. "The Mutanimals' ground attack is the perfect distraction. While the Kraang are focusing on them, we'll stop the missile!" Raphael replied. I raise an eyebrow and look down to see that the Mutanimals are attacking the Kraang, just like Slash wanted.
"See, Leo? Maybe we're meant to work together. Huh? Huh? Yeah?" Michelangelo said. Leonardo crosses his arms, not answering the question. We sneak on top of the missile, Raphael holding on the rope that held Donatello.
"Now, according to Kurtzman's data, the missile guidance system uses a form of binary code," Donatello said to himself. I look up and see something flying towards us. "Um, guys? What's worse than regular Kraang?" Michelangelo asked. Leonardo sees them and looks in shock. "Flying Kraang?!" Leonardo and I exclaim. They fly towards us. "Everyone cover!" Leonardo orders. But Raphael can't, he's holding onto Donatello…
A Kraang flies towards me. I jump up and hit it with a vicious Flamethrower. Suddenly, there's rumbling coming from the missile. I stumble a bit. "Oh snap! Dudes!" Michelangelo screams. I think this thing is about to launch! "For the glory of Kraang!" I heard. Then a Druddigon roar. Can the Mutanimals take on Kazar? I hope so.
I snapped my head to below the missile. Was that Kraang-Subprime? Before I can see who it was, the missile launches, with us on it! We all scream and I try to hold onto the missile. Raphael dangles from the rope he was holding Donatello with. "Donatello! Make it quick! We're about to leave the atmosphere!" Raphael shouts and I look to see clouds. I can also see darkness up above. "Stop pressuring me!" Donatello exclaimed, pressing some buttons from the missile's panel.
"Setting a course for the heart of the sun!" he shouts, punching a button. "Kay, now what do we do?!" I shouted. Leonardo looks down. "Jump!" he orders and we all jump off the missile. We all scream as we start to fall. I can feel myself catching on fire at the speed we were going! But that's natural for me. This doesn't hurt. I can't say the same for Nyata, though. "Activate Turtle gliders!" Leonardo orders, and they all pull a string, activating their gliders. I grabbed Nyata with my back legs.
I sigh in relief before we all scream. We fall on top of the Turtle Blimp, and bounce onto the railings. "Wow. Too close. I saw my life flash before my eyes," Michelangelo replied. "What did you see?" Donatello asked. "Pizza. Mostly pizza. It was awesome!" Michelangelo answers. I giggled a 'we almost died' giggle. "At least we stopped the missile," I reply. I see Pigeon Pete eating a loaf and a Kraang inching towards him.
Slash saves him from harm and I smile at this. He really does care for his team…I jump onto the Turtle Blimp and we fire balls of trash at the Kraang. They retreat and Donatello lands the Turtle Blimp. "Leatherhead!" Michelangelo exclaimed, hugging the gator mutant. "My friend," Leatherhead replied. "I was so scared I would never see you again," Michelangelo said. I smile.
"Nice job back there, Pete," Raphael comments, about to give Pigeon Pete a high-five. But Raphael moves his hand away. "Aw, too slow!" Raphael exclaimed. I roll my eyes. "You know," Donatello clears his throat, "I think there's room enough for two mutant geniuses in this city, Rockwell," he said. "I concur. Of course, warm-blooded mammals are still considered far more intelligent than inferior, cold-blooded, tiny-brained reptiles," Rockwell answers. I chuckle at this, but growled nonetheless, "Being a mammal or a reptile has nothing to do with intelligence." I spat. Leonardo and I turn to Slash. "I knew you had it in you, Slash," I said. "You stepped up and saved your teammates when they needed you the most," Leonardo finishes.
"Told ya I changed, Leonardo. I'm a different kinda turtle now," Slash answers, offering his hand. Leonardo and I shake his hand. "All right, fellas, time to storm TCRI! We go to Dimension X and save the citizens of New York," Leonardo tells us. I smile. "Yeah!" I exclaim. Leonardo gives me a look. I know that look. "You cannot be serious!" I exclaim. "Oh, I'm serious, Marcus. You need to go," he tells me. I narrow my eyes.
"Leo, we need him," Donatello explained. "But we can't risk his life anymore. Not after he got knocked out," Raphael retorted. I sigh and gesture to the others to follow me. They do so and I face them.
"Listen to me, ever since Apollo and I escaped from the zoo, we've changed a lot. But in a good way. That's because of you guys. We've grown and loved as a family. I don't care what happens to me, so long as we get everyone, back. That's why the lot of us are still here. I would have gone back to the farmhouse if it wasn't for the fact that my home is in trouble. We are a family. And family are there for each other. I want to help you… but not by taking refuge somewhere. I have to help. So what do you say? You in?" I said, holding my paw out.
They look at each other and I glance at them. They all smile and put their hands on top of mine. "You're right. We need all the help we can get," Leonardo tells me. "But if anything happens, you're going somewhere safe," Nyata replied. "We have to be there for each other," Donatello said. "Booyakasha!" Michelangelo exclaimed as we throw our hands, and paws up in the air.
Now all we need is to break into TCRI, and save New York… and possibly the world. "Is there anything we can do?" Kingsley asked, all of the Razing Rogues minus Aries, Incineroar, Rocktail, Loche and Sanderson, standing behind him. "Yes there is. Round up all the Pokémon in the woods and Clash's dragons and tell them to meet me at the borderline. It's time to give Kirā something to remember."
"You got it." Blaziken said. The Razing Rogues take off. Gabby's Talonflame takes off, too. Apollo's pack charges off to attack. "Good luck, guys." Denali said as the other tigers ran to demolish the Kraang droids.
PART TWO! PART TWO, PART TWO, PART-!
Alright. We are on the Turtle Blimp now, waiting for the Mighty Mutanimals to open the portal to Dimension X. I can't believe we have to go back there again…Dimension X is weird. "So do we even have a real plan here or are we just winging it for laughs?" Raphael asked.
"It's all on the Mighty Mutanimals. First they break into TCRI, then Doctor Rockwell activates the portal," Donatello explained. Michelangelo pops his head out from above the blimp. "And then it's back to Dimension X! Yeah boy! I get to be smart again!" Michelangelo exclaimed. I think he's the only one who's looking forward to going back to Dimension X. Nyata's never been to Dimension X. "Uh, what's Dimension X?" Nyata asked. "It's where the Kraang came from. I should warn you, it's weird." I answered. "I like weird. Look who I have for a boyfriend." Nyata said. "Touche." I said, giggling.
"I get the first part. Makes sense. It's the 'save millions of mutated New-Yorkers' I don't get," Raphael retorted. "Well, Donatello's got his super retro-mutagen stuff. That'll work. Uh, right, Donatello?" I replied. "Heck yeah! And once we change all the humans back, Rockwell will hone in on us with the Kraang portal and, theoretically, teleport us all back to Earth….hopefully…maybe," Donatello answers. I blow out a breath. Nyata tapped her fingers on the rail, uneasy.
"We're doomed," Raphael replied. "It's an awesome plan. Dimension X, here we come!" Michelangelo said. "I just hope the Mutanimals don't screw this up," Leonardo comments. "Like Michelangelo does?" I growled, looking at TCRI. "Shots fired." Nyata commented. I don't even bother finishing my sentence, because they all knew what the answer was.
Soon, something opens up from the building. It's the portal! "They did it!" I exclaimed. "Unbelievable," Leonardo replied. "Hoist the mizzenmast, lads! And lassie! This pirate ship's about to jack Dimension X!" Raphael said in a pirate voice. I giggle a bit before we approach the portal. "Ready your oxygen converters, guys," Donatello tells us and we put on our oxygen converters. Well, I didn't, because I don't necessarily need one. We circle the portal before flying inside it. We enter with a grunt. "Okay. Welcome back to Dimension X," Leonardo replied. I stuck my tongue out. Nyata playfully swatted my arm.
Donatello turned us right side up and I sigh in relief. "Phew. Well, that's 23% better," Donatello comments. "And I got a way of making it a thousand times better. Booyakasha!" Michelangelo said, throwing down a smoke bomb, covering us in smoke. I cough and Nyata covers her mouth. When the smoke cleared, Michelangelo is wearing his costume from when we were here last time. "Savage of Dimension X returned!" Michelangelo exclaimed. He calls himself "Savage Mikey" now. I clapped my paws. "Again with the costumes!" Raphael exclaimed angrily.
I put a hand on his shoulder. "Just go with it," Leonardo whispers to us before turning to Michelangelo. Leonardo clears his throat. "Great, so, uh, where do you think the Kraang are keeping all those mutated humans?" Leonardo replied. "Hold on. I can sense them close with my organic antenna," Michelangelo answers, doing a few moves.
"Wa, wa, wa, wa, wa," he repeats. I roll my eyes. I love how he can be silly and be a savage at the same time. Nyata puts a paw on her mouth, suppressing a laugh. He gasps and points straight. "That way!" he shouts. "You heard the man, Donatello. Full speed ahead!" I told Donatello and he goes straight, with Michelangelo standing on top of the blimp. "I do not like being in Dimension X," I muttered to Raphael. He chuckles and wraps an arm around my shoulder. "It'll be over soon. We'll save the citizens, go home, and then you can show us this plan you have."
This is taking forever. Oh, right. There's a time differentiation here. "So where are all the people? Feels like we've been searching forever," Leonardo wonders. "Time is slower here, that's why." I reply. "You got any idea where we're going, for real?" Raphael asked Michelangelo. "Of course I do, dude!" Michelangelo answers, laughing weakly.
I heard a roar, catching my attention. I turn around to see a Kraang worm! Michelangelo's eyes widen. "But there are surprises along the way," he finishes, laughing weakly again. "And I'm not surprised because?" I asked. "Because you've been here once before." Nyata said. Actually, three time before.
"It's a Kraathatrogon!" Donatello exclaimed. Nyata was speechless. "Told you this was weird." I said. "Man the defenses!" Leonardo orders. Raphael shoots it with the trash cannon, but it has no effect. The giant worm then crashes through the blimp, destroying it and causing us to crash on a nearby floating island. "Uh, I think I broke my brain," Michelangelo replied with a groan.
"Ha, what brain?" Raphael asked in response and I growl at him. "I'm takin' this freaky space worm down myself!" Raphael exclaimed. But the worm attacks him from behind, making him fall off the island in front of Donatello and somehow ended up crashing into Leonardo, who was located behind Donatello. The worm then attacks again. Michelangelo hits it's butt face, fending it off.
"FYI, guys, Kraang worms' weak spot are their butt faces. Got that?" Michelangelo replied. Got it. I see something in the distance and point to it. "Guys, look!" I exclaim. "This just keeps getting worse and worse," Leonardo comments, looking with his telescope. "Let me guess. The humans that got Kraangatized have been turned into servants and are mining energy crystals for the Kraang," Michelangelo explained. My mouth drops open. How did he get that right?
"You never cease to amaze me," Leonardo remarks. "I'm sweet like that, dude," Michelangelo answers. "So we figure out how to turn all the humans back-"
"And then the Mutanimals figure out a way to bring us all home," Donatello finishes for Raphael. "It doesn't seem possible," Leonardo comments. "Dude, it's the Mighty Mutanimals, the operative word being 'mighty.' They got it all under control!" Michelangelo said. Leonardo and I give each other a look.
"It looks as though the Kraang have human hybrids on those three islands," I said, squinting my eyes at the three islands. Yep, definitely human hybrids. "Those islands are huge. I mean, how are we gonna turn all those mutants back into people?" Raphael remarks.
"You forget, Raphael. We just need to find a massive amount of mutagen and convert it into retro-mutagen with this," Donatello explained, holding up a batch of the stuff Michelangelo made. "Oh, is that all? A massive amount of mutagen? Let me just milk a few thousand Kraang worms," Raphael retorted.
"I bet that thing has a ton of mutagen inside of it!" Michelangelo exclaimed, pointing upwards. I look up and saw a Technodrome. "A technodrome?" Leonardo replied. "Don't say it. I know. I'm a genius," Michelangelo brags.
"I was gonna say you're crazy! Steal a technodrome?!" Leonardo exclaimed in disbelief. "And how would we even get there? The blimp's a wreck," Raphael wonders. "Or we could just borrow one of those stealth ships parked over there. Just sayin'," Donatello replied, pointing to a Kraang Stealth Ship. "This is so crazy, I'm starting to like this plan," Raphael comments.
"The only crazy things around here are me and this place," I said. "All right guys. Stay frosty. And keep quiet. And all those other Leo-isms Leo likes to say," Michelangelo tells us. I snicker while Leonardo sighs. We start to jump towards the ship, and we land in front of the stealth ship.
"Okay team, when I give the signal, it'll be-" Michelangelo flaps his arms back and forth with a "Caw caw! Caw caw!" I snicker a bit. "And then we sneak inside the ship," Leonardo whispers. "That sounds like a great idea!" I hear and I turn to see…Kraang Subprime. I sigh wearily.
"Not this guy again," Donatello comments. He lands in front of us and extends his Irma body. "That's right, mutant freaks! Kraang Sub-Prime returned! You like that, don't ya? Do you like this? Huh! Yeah, you like that," he replied, flexing his pink arms. I glance both ways. "I prefer you well done. Pink meat isn't very appealing to me." I taunt him. "Oooooh." I heard Nyata mutter a barely audible "That's racist." I muttered back, "No, it's not."
Kraang Subprime just growls. "You'll pay for that. Now come quietly or I vaporize ya," he demands. "Psst. Marcus, I need you and Nyata to roar when I give you the signal," Michelangelo whispers to me. I nodded.
Michelangelo throws his shuriken at Kraang Sub-Prime but misses. "Ha! You missed!" he exclaimed. "Marcus, Nyata, now!" Michelangelo shouts. Nyata and I roared while he gives off a high-pitched scream. Kraang Subprime covers his ears and an intense blast, mixed with fire and ice, knocks him back. "Wow…" I said in awe. "You did it, little brother!" Raphael exclaimed. Nyata and I cleared our throats. "You guys too," Raphael replied, rubbing our heads. "That's because we're suh-suh-suh-sweet," Michelangelo answers.
"Get this puppy moving, D!" I exclaimed, suddenly energetic.. "I'm starting it! I'm starting it!" he remarks. "So you really know how to fly this thing?" Leonardo asked. "Um, sort of. I kinda did it before…not exactly," Donatello said.
"Just get this bird in the air already!" Raphael shouts. Donatello moves backward, making us crash into something. We all stand up. "Forward might be nice," Raphael retorted. "Let me handle this, D!" Michelangelo exclaimed and stands in front of us. He then steers us in the right direction. I blink slowly. Are there any more surprises on this mission? Seriously!
"So what are we gonna do when we reach that technodrome, huh? Anyone thought that far ahead?" I asked nervously. "Um, not really?" Donatello asked in response. I sigh. "Uh, guys. I think we got bigger, badder problems. Look!" Leonardo replied and I see a two-headed robot snake coming towards us. "Michelangelo?" I asked. "I've never seen that thing before," Michelangelo answers. Must be a new thing the Kraang created…"Kraang Sub-Prime must've sent him. Or Kazar." I muttered. "Brace yourselves!" Michelangelo exclaimed and he dodges the giant two-headed… thing.
"Strap your shells and fur coats on tight, bros," Michelangelo replied and the two-headed robot snake roars at us. "Booyakasha!" Michelangelo shouts, going in different directions. "Left, go left!" Raphael tells him. Michelangelo goes left. "No, go right! Right!" Leonardo exclaimed and Michelangelo does so. "Look out!" Donatello yells, and we look to see the two-headed snake crash into us, making us crash into the technodrome we were heading into. We sneak into the technodrome and end up in the control room. "Wow, we made it!" I exclaimed.
"Wow, that was easy," Raphael comments. "Um, Raphael," Leonardo said and we find ourselves against an army of Kraang. "Aw, Kraang," Raphael mutters. "Turtles, tigers, attack!" Leonardo orders and we proceed to fight. "Leo, I'm the leader in Dimension X!" Michelangelo tells him. I scorch a Kraang and slam it to the floor. Nyata froze a bunch and attacked them. "Then figure out a way to take down all these Kraang droids!" Leonardo retorted to Michelangelo. We start fighting again until I hear a yell.
I turn to see Michelangelo floating using two Kraang. He was firing with blasters everywhere, taking down the remaining Kraang. I blink in shock. "Michelangelo, that was amazing!" I exclaim in awe. "Dimension X plus years of video games equals Michelangelo awesomeness!" Michelangelo answers. I roll my eyes with a smirk.
"Great, just get this thing moving! Donatello, what have we got?" Leonardo replied. "Good news. It looks like we have access to their mutagen supply through this fuel tube. Not only do they use mutagen to terraform, they use it to power the ship! We've got a massive supply! Like-like this much!" Donatello explained, emphasizing the amount with his arms. Michelangelo starts up the ship. "Yes! She's moving!" he exclaimed. I smiled. "Let's save New York!"
"We have a visual on the human hybrids, Donatello. We need that portal ready to go," Leonardo said. "Give me two seconds. I've got to add the retro-mutagen," Donatello answers, inserting the retro-mutagen into the mutagen fuel. This causes the technodrome to stop working. "What happened? Something's wrong," Nyata said. "What's going on?! Report!" Leonardo demands.
"I told you, the technodrome runs on mutagen. The engines just can't take retro-mutagen, Captain!" Donatello remarks. Michelangelo starts pushing buttons. "Not necessarily. I just need to alter the ship's fuel converters, tweak the quantum defiblitrons, and voila!" Michelangelo replied, and manages to get the ship running again. "Michelangelo you're…" Michelangelo smiles. "A genius, I know," he interrupts.
"Wasting time! Get this thing moving! We have to save the humans already!" Raphael shouts. I hear something and I turn to see Kraang Sub-Prime trying to cut through the door! "Here's Kraangy!" he exclaimed. Oh, jeez, this just turned into 'The Shining.' AGAIN.
"Okay, Donatello, we need to get that portal open!" I exclaim. "Call up the Mutanimals!" Leonardo orders. Donatello pulls out his T-Phone and dials Doctor Rockwell. "Come in, Doctor Rockwell. Doc? You there? Anybody?!" he said. Oh no… if they're not answering, how will we get home? "Great. If the Mutanimals can't transport us back, cancel the entire rescue mission," Raphael comments.
"And us going home," Leonardo finishes. I close my eyes. Please…Mighty Mutanimals, you have to have that portal open… "Donatello, we are back online. 30 seconds before we send you home," I heard. My eyes widen and I look to see Rockwell on Donatello's T-Phone! Yes, they did it! I knew they wouldn't let us down. "Sending coordinates now, adjusting for fifth dimensional space," Donatello answers. "There they are! The hybrids. Aw man, look at them! They're forced to work like Kravarian ant-people," Michelangelo replied.
"Well, not much longer. You ready with that retro-mutagen, Raphael?" Donatello asked. Raphael grins. "Locked and loaded!" he answers. "Fire!" Leonardo and Michelangelo order which makes me giggle a bit. Raphael fires the retro-mutagen over all the hybrids on the island and they are turned back to normal! It worked! "Sweet skills, Raphael," I comment. "We're not outta of this mess yet," Donatello replied. I hear buzzing from the door. "I'm just getting started, Turtles and Tiger! I'm coming for your sweet shells!" Kraang Sub-Prime exclaimed.
"Donatello, we need those humans teleported out now!" Leonardo orders. "I'm on it!" Donatello answers and the humans are teleported back to New York. I gape in awe. "We did it. We turned a multidimensional transmat device into a mass-displacement teleporter!" Donatello said in awe. "I have no idea what you just said, but hooray?" Raphael comments. "That's how we're going home. Teleportation, y'all," Michelangelo replied. Leonardo and I smile. "Just like Space Heroes!" Leonardo exclaimed. He's such a nerd sometimes, but I love him anyway.
"No way! Forget it. You're not beaming my particles!" Raphael remarks. I heard a crash and I turn to see Kraang Sub-Prime. "Surprise! Forget about me, turtles and tigers?" he asked. Kraang droids show up behind Kraang Sub-Prime. "Eliminate the ones called the turtles and the tigers," one of them said.
"You two gotta hold them off! I've gotta pilot this thing!" Michelangelo exclaimed. "Hold them off?" Leonardo asked. "How?!" I exclaimed, since we were outnumbered. "Yeah, that's a real good question, pussycat," Kraang Sub-Prime answers. I charge at him for calling me that stupid nickname. "There's one last island, Raphael," Michelangelo replied. "Do we have enough retro-mutagen?" Raphael asked.
"Down to 10%," Donatello answers. Raphael fires the retro-mutagen at the hybrids and Donatello teleports them back. "That's it, that's all the humans," Raphael said. "Sending the last set of coordinates, ours! Get us out of here, Rockwell!" Donatello tells Rockwell. "Confirmed," he answers.
Meanwhile, I was dealing with Kraang Subprime. And I wasn't doing so well by myself. He kicks me to a spinning blade and I hiss loudly. "Marcus!" Nyata screams, grabbing my hand. I pant and look up at her. "I got you," She tells me and pulled me up.
"You're finished, turtle and tiger scum! Finished!" Kraang Subprime exclaimed. He was about to attack us, but we teleported out of there. We fall to a building with a grunt. I groan and place a hand on my head as I saw people coming back and the Kraang leaving. Everyone cheers and claps as we look over the city in relief. We did it…we actually did it…we saved the city! "We did it. Somehow we did it!" Leonardo replied happily.
"We're the best! Go ninja, go ninja go!" Michelangelo exclaimed. "Finally everything is going back to normal. Well, as normal as this city can get," Donatello comments. "I hope so…" I reply softly.
"Yeah, but what about the Mighty Mutanimals?" Raphael asked. "What about us?" I hear and we turn to see the Mighty Mutanimals! "Leatherhead!" Michelangelo and I exclaim as he hugged him. "My big green buddy!" Michelangelo replied. "We made it, my friends," he said to us.
"Looks like our plan worked, Doctor," Donatello said to the psychic chimp. "Yes, and teleporting the Kraang back to Dimension X was a stroke of genius," he replied. "And, Marcus, I apologize for my incompetence earlier. You were just trying to be the peacekeeper." I sigh a bit, "Don't sweat it."
"You gotta admit, guys. We couldn't have done this without Slash and his team," Raphael tells Leonardo and I. We look at each other and then nod.
We then turn to Slash. "You did great, Slash," I said. "I'm sorry I doubted you. Everyone deserves a second chance," Leonardo finishes. "I just tried to model myself after the best leader and friend I ever knew. You," Slash answers with a smile. We smile back. "Turtles and Mutanimals alike, it's time to celebrate!"
"Not so fast!" A voice said. Oh no, I forgot about Kirā. "I've got a war to end at the borderline. And there's nothing you can do about it!" He cackles before taking off. "Think again!" The boys and the Razing Rogues follow me to the borderline.
This is the biggest crowd I've ever seen.
There are a ton of Pokémon down there, and all of Clash's dragons are here, too. But we beat Kirā here. Time to end this feud. "Dragons and Pokémon alike. Kirā has forced the two races into isolation. But I'm here to fix that. Dragons and Pokémon can live together. No matter what you are-"
"Silence!" Kirā said, his acapella group behind him. "There is only one way to settle this. Sing off. Winner owns the city." He said. "Seems fair." I said as my group, Apollo's group, and Cyrus's group appeared behind me. "I will judge. Apollo's group goes first." Ronin said, standing in between us."Fine." Kirā said.
His group did vocalizations, then Apollo started singing.
Apollo: Heyyyy yeah
We're leaving together
But still it's farewell (woah oh oh ohhh)
And maybe we'll come back (duh duh duh duh duhhh)
To earth, who can tell?
I guess there is no one to blame (no one to blame)
We're leaving ground (leaving leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again?
It's the final countdown
Woahhh oh oh ohhhh ohhh ohhhhh
It's the final countdown
Heyyy eh ehhh eh eh eh ehhh
It's the final countdown
Heyyy eh ehhh ehhhhhh eh eh ehhh eh eh ehhhh eh
Kirā's group is going next. Now, the dragons and Pokemon have to applaud when they're done performing, whether they antagonize them or not. They sang "Whoa, oh oh oh oh, whoa oh oh, oh oh oh," before taking the formation of some kind of ship's front.
Geier: Be careful making wishes in ze dark, dark,
Can't be sure when zey'll hit zeir mark,
And besides in ze mean, mean time,
I'm just dreaming of tearing you apart,
Geier and Kirā: I'm in ze de-details with ze devil,
Now ze world can never get me on my level,
I just gotta get you out ze cage,
I'm a young lover's rage,
Gonna need a spark to ignite
My songs know what you did in ze dark!
Everyone: So light 'em up, up, up,
Light 'em up, up, up,
Light 'em up, up, up,
I'm on fire!
So light 'em up, up, up,
Light 'em up, up, up,
Light 'em up, up, up,
I'm on fire!
We grimaced. They are so in sync, they just might win. Kirā was making me even more nervous when he rapidfired the words in a type of rap.
Kirā: Symphonics goin' in on ze verse,
'Cause zey never been defeated and they won't stop now,
Get your hands up, put 'em in the sky,
For the homies that didn't make it and the folks locked down,
Make millions every year,
International champions,
'Cause all I do, all I, all I, all I, all I do is win
Hey!
They took a formation of a foot race. Their Obstagoon shot his tongue out, and it wrapped around my arm. I pulled, but the Obstagoon wouldn't budge.
Geier: Win, win, win, no matter what,
Got money on my mind, I can never get enough,
And every time I step up in the building,
Everybody's hands go up
The Obstagoon let me go. I was sent flying backwards, crashing into the wall behind me.
And they stay there (Light 'em up, up, up),
And they stay there (Light 'em up, up, up),
And they stay there (Light 'em up, up, up),
I'm on fire!
'Cause all I do is win, win, win
After I got back up, I walked over to pound their miserable little faces, but Raphael stopped me.
And if you're goin' in, put your hands in the air, make 'em stay there! (Light 'em up, up, up),
And they stay there (Light 'em up, up, up),
And they stay there (Light 'em up, up, up),
I'm on fire!
'Cause all I do is win, win, win,
And if you're goin' in, put your hands in the air, make 'em stay there!
So light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
Light 'em up, up, up
I'm on fire!
Unfortunately for us, they got more applause than Apollo's group did. I gulped. "Hear that? Applause for us. Don't take losing too seriously now." Geier said, stroking my face with her wing. "Your feathers are so soft." I whispered. "Sorry, I don't speak loser, what did you say?" Geier asked tauntingly. "We foreigners speak about five different languages, but loser is not one of them." Kirā said. Their Pangoro chuckled deeply.
Man, I hope this plan works. The three groups united are performing. I took a deep breath. I heard Loche gulp from behind me. We began our performance with stomping and a bit of clapping. Even though it took roughly 40 seconds, it grabbed the audience's attention.

Nyata: When tomorrow comes, I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of the things that I don't know
Nyata and Gabby: When tomorrow comes, when tomorrow comes
When tomorrow comes (when tomorrow comes),
One by one, the rest of the tigers joined in singing.
And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
Darkness all around
I hope that I could fly
Then I sing along, then I sing along
Then I sing along (then I sing along),
Tigers: I got all I need when I got you and I
Cause I look around me and see a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin' me, gettin' me through the night
You kickstart my heart when you're shinin' in my eyes
I can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin' me through the night
The other acapella groups, the Tone Hangers, the rest of our groups, and Clash's group appeared behind us. The audience, and Kirā's group, stared and cheered in awe (to clarify, Kirā's group stared, the audience was cheering). We continued our performance.
You're gettin' me through the night
Nyata: Cause you're my flashlight,
Marcus: Cause you're my flashlight
Flareon: You're my flashlight,
Nyata: Cause you're my flashlight
All three: You're gettin' me through the night
I got all I need when I got you and I (you and I)
Cause I look around me and see a sweet life (sweet life)
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight (flashlight)
You're gettin' me through the night
The audience was singing with us at this point. I was shocked to see that Kirā's group was singing, too. I wasn't gonna let him distract me, I continued.
You kickstart my heart when you're shinin' in my eyes
I can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me through the night
Cause you're my flashlight,
Flareon: Cause you are
Nyata: Cause you're my flashlight, cause you're my flashlight
Marcus and Nyata: You're my flashlight
You're gettin' me through the night
Nyata: Oh, cause you're my flashlight, cause you're my
Each member from each group, including Kirā's group, bowed down. Nyata was the only one who still stood.
Marcus: Gettin' me through the night
Okay, let me put it to you like this; we won. We definitely won. The crowd is going wild. In fact, wild isn't the word for how crazy the crowd is going. I could not contain my excitement at all. I gave Nyata a huge hug, of which she instantly returned. I turned to Kirā, but he gave me a shocked look. He looked down for a moment before walking off. His group followed him.
"This is going down on my list of 'top five times I had the best time singing!'" I said, looking down at the audience, still going crazy. They've been like this for almost two minutes. Best night of my life, so far. And it was confirmed when Ronin said to Nyata and me...
"I think we know who won."
I had a blast writing this epilogue!
