Brawl 10

Inside Dan's home everyone was getting ready for bed, except for Drago. Sitting ontop of the desk in Dan's room the dragon bakugan was in deep thought.

'How was it that Naruto was able to leave the battlefield without any problems? Better yet how was he able to use that bakugan when only Aku has it?' Drago thought to himself in suspicion.

Quietly making his way out of Dan's room Drago slowly inched his way towards Naruto's to ask the only one who could answer his questions. Nearing the room in question Drago was about to enter when he heard voices inside.

"That was an extremely risky move you just pulled Naruto Uzumaki." The first voice, which Drago identified as Monarus, said chastisingly.

"I know, I know Monarus but what did you want me to do, dattebayo?" The second voice, Naruto's, groaned. "I was not about to lose one of my only friends to the doom dimension because Dan and Shun were having a couples argument!" He said angrily.

"If you ask me, I'd say let the chicken fry if she can't handle playing with the big boys." The final voice sneered. Even with the door muffling the sounds Drago immediately recognized the voice of Aku's bakugan partner. "You should've used me from the start if you wanted to win."

"If you don't want to spend the next three weeks screaming about a certain sunset, then I suggest you shut up fox." Naruto threatened almost too quietly for Drago to hear.

"As much as it sickens me to say this but Kyuubi has a point master." Monarus sighed tiredly. "If you wish to help stop Masquerade from destroying all three worlds then the two of you must learn to work together."

"The day I willingly work with him is the day I care about the Leaf." Drago heard Naruto retort angrily.

Returning to Dan's room, Drago was filled with more questions than he wanted. What was the third world that was in danger and what does a leaf have to do with the eccentric blonde were just the tip of the iceberg of questions that plaqued the dragon's mind.

The next day after accepting a day off from Runo's parents Alice was heading to a park with Naruto. Walking towards their destination as they reminisced about the first few months after the blonde ninja arrived, however Alice was deep in thought about the others reactions when they learned that Michael was her grandfather.

"...we should make out." Immediately afterwards images of her and Naruto kissing as he pinned her to the ground popped into Alice's mind breaking the orange haired girl out of her thoughts as her face went nova red.

Shaking her head and praying futility that her secret crush hadn't noticed Alice looked towards Naruto to confirm she heard right only to see his infamous prankster grin on his face. Slapping his arm while Naruto laughed Alice couldn't help but laugh along.

"What were you saying Naruto?" Alice asked as they reached their destination as they sat on a nearby bench.

Sitting next to her Naruto's grin morphed into a concerned frown. "I asked if you were worried telling the others about being your grandfather." Naruto said looking at Alice in the eye seeing all her concealed fear in them.

Looking down into her lap Alice nodded quietly as Naruto pulled her into a hug. Turning her head back to Naruto, Alice saw the blonde ninja looking into the distance immediately knowing that he was thinking about his past. "It'll be fine." He eventually said. "If they're true friends they'll understand."

"Thanks Naruto." Alice whispered into his ear after she pulled him in to a bone crushing hug. As she pulled away Alice called a important meeting to her friends about something important and arranged to meet at Merucho's mansion.

Meanwhile at another mansion deep in the woods a limo had just pulled up as Billy Gilbert stepped out. Billy had slightly tanned skin and shoulder length lemon blonde hair and hazel eyes. He wore a orange jacket above a white shirt and brown jeans. On his head was a baseball cap with a red lighting bolt on it.

Entering the mansion he spotted four others waiting inside. Leaning against the wall to his right was Julio Santana, a massive buff bald man around seven feet tall wearing a white mini jacket over a black workout shirt that featured a yellow lighting bolt in the center.

Standing on the stairs was Chan Lee, a Asian teen girl with long black hair tied in to a ponytail. She has chocolate brown eyes and wears a red and gold ao dai with C cup breasts.

To Billy's left Komba O'Charlie, a short mocha skin kid in a yellow hoodie jacket wearing a dark green cap on his curly brown hair. Finally the one closest to him was Klaus von Hertzon, a older teen with silver-blue hair wearing a light purple posh coat and white jeans.

"So is this the place for the top ten party?" He asked holding up an invitation in his hands.

"Indeed it is." Klaus said with a smile. "Except for the 1st, 6th, 7th and 9th everyone's here." Reaching into his pants pocket he pulled out a bakugan card. "So how about a battle royal while we wait?"

Getting nods from everyone Klaus set up the battlefield as his first gatecard expanded to twenty times the normal size. "Let's show them what we got Cycloid!" Billy said as he got into a baseball pitcher's stance and threw in first.

"Oh yeah! I'd like to see what ya chumps can do!" Cycloid, a sub terra attribute bakugan that looked like a dusty brown cyclops with a yellow eye said as he weilded a giant stone hammer in his right hand as it and the hammer doubled in size.

"Ability card activate Right Gigante!" Billy said.

"What a show off." Komba mocked as he sent his partner Harpus in. "Ability card activate Feather Blast!" Harpus, a green harpy like bakugan with giant wings attached to her arms and two smaller ones for ears, flew in the sky as it unleashed a tornado shaped torpedo towards Cycloid only for a red and gold colored ashura bakugan, Fourtress, to bat it away as its face turned to one of rage. But before anything could happen Tentaclear, a giant white eyeball with tentacles which gave it the appearance to Corbinek shone a blinding light on the field as a hypnotizing melody started playing as Sirenoid, a blue siren like bakugan slowly rose from beneath the gatecard.

However before anyone could turn the battle into their favor the sound of shattering glass caught their attention as Aku stepped out of a portal he created. "Who are you?" Klaus demanded as Aku merely pointed to the ground.

Looking down the current brawlers were shocked seeing a giant albino dragon in the middle of a pulsating energy sphere. "Humans, you will serve me!" Naga roared as a purple sheen coated their eyes.

"You're mission is to defeat Dan and the battle brawlers." Aku commanded as the group bowed down to him.

After Alice had told her friends about her connection to the missing scientist they agreed to head to his lab in Moscow. As the ship was passing Shun's house the dark haired ninga used a grappling hook to climb aboard when it connected to the wing. "What a show off." Dan muttered as he, Merucho, Runo and Alice were resting in the common area.

"You're just jealous." Runo teased as they started passing some skyscrapers. "But are you sure we shouldn't wait for Naruto, Alice?"

Shaking her head as Shun entered through a hatch on top they spotted said blonde running across a skyscraper's side before jumping on to the ship with ease. "Oh wow." Was all that anyone could say at the sight.

Arriving at the lab in question everyone started searching for any clues about what happened to Alice's grandfather.

As their partners were searching Drago felt an odd energy in the air. "Tigrerra, do you feel it?"

"I do Drago." Tigrerra said as Preyus started jumping around.

"No kidding I've been feeling jumpy the second we arrived." Preyus said as he continued jumping around until he landed on a button on a computer. With his weight on it the button activated the computer playing a video recording of Michael.

On the screen was a old man dressed in scientist robes. "This is Michael G. recording in my lab. For years I've been working on a dimensional transporter." The recording began getting everyone's attention.

"Grandfather/Doc Crazy?!" Alice and Naruto yelled in shock.

"One day I activated the transporter for a routine test run something extraordinary happened. I found myself in a world filled with monster like beings in what I later learned was called Vestroia." The video continued shocking everyone.

"Looks like you're right Drago." Dan whispered never taking his eyes off the computer.

"When I awoke I was surprised to learn that not only had two months passed since then but the energy that my transporter released took on the forms of playing cards. I theorize that time flows differently between worlds." The video played.

"Hoping to further understand this energy I asked my granddaughter, Alice, for help in measuring the energy. What neither of us expected was for a blonde teen boy to be flung out of th- $=;.'!&_" The video ended prematurely soon after. But before anyone could discuss what they just saw the computer started up once more.

"All hope is forever lost! For I am Hal G.!" The next recording played showing Michael under the effects of negative energy as his skin had turned green and his white hair purple before turning off.

"So we got Masquerade,Aku and now Hal G. to contend with." Shun said everyone's thoughts as Merucho started bringing the last recording back up.

"Everyone look at this!" He yelled as he brought up an image in the background. As it grew larger the picture revealed a man in a black cloak with red clouds decorating it.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Naruto screamed in rage scaring everyone as they jumped in fright. The reason for the blonde ninja's scream of absolute rage was because when Merucho finally stopped enhancing the photo it showed that the cloak wearing man had blood red eyes with mini comma's swirling around and he had a duckbutt hairstyle.
