"Hello ladies" James said as he turned the corner, in his most charming voice.

Ginny looked up from her spot in the Quidditch corner and her eyes immediately fell on her old DADA professor. Of course when she was a mere second year she had the biggest crush on him. He was different to Lockhart. He actually cared about the learning, he wasn't superficial and he was a whole lot more handsome than that jerk. The kindness and understanding that radiated off of him was far more attractive then forced smiles and fake acclamations

"Introducing our friend, Mr Remus Lupin" James continued, his voice sounding like some sort of game show host.

Remus scanned his eyes over the three girls. The first one he thought, was extremely bookish and attractive in a hidden way. She didn't broadcast it for the world to see, as if she didn't even know it was there. The next had a dreamy, far away look, but she was listening intently and was flicking through a diary frantically. So Remus turned to the last girl, and that was when his breath was fully taken away. This girl had been facing the other way, so he couldn't see her face before. Everything about her was warm and fiery and strong and he couldn't fathom how a girl like that could even come to be. But of course, he'd never spoken to her before, so he couldn't let himself get carried away. He was lucky to have three people understand him, he couldn't risk adding an extra.

"Hi" the girl said in a soft smile, almost with awe shining through, which confused him but it didn't matter. Butterflies were taking over from suspicion.

"Hello" Hermione took over with the introductions. " Hermione Nettle, that's my sister Luna Nettle and my other sister Ginevra Nettle"

Ginevra. That didn't suit her. It was too delicate. Of course, he assumed she had her delicate princess moments. She was pure blood royalty. But it didn't suit her.

"Ginny Nettle, Miones. Stop introducing me as Ginevra!"

Remus smiled inwardly and watched Sirius approach Hermione. James went over to Ginny, and so he was left with Luna, still frantically flipping through the diary.

Sirius walked over to Hermione and finally let himself take in her appearance. He saw how he shorts clung to her curves, her band shirt was baggy and her shoes were scuffed around the front.

"Queen, eh?" he said nodding at her shirt.

"Uhuh. Freddy is on a whole other level. What's your favourite song?" Hermione's eyes lit up, her curls bouncing all over the place in the most adorable fashion.

Sirius thought for a second. "Bohemian rhapsody is definitely my most played. I want to break free is too relatable to not be my favourite though"

"That's what Regulus said" Hermione grinned, before picking up a book that was on her list and putting it in her cauldron. "I've always wanted to go to a Muggle concert but my parents wouldn't let us. Maybe Queen'll come to England on their next tour"

Sirius looked dazed for a second, before he bounced back with a strained smile. "Yeah same. Me and James have dragged Remus to a David Bowie concert once and he pretended not to enjoy it. Starman is kinda our song." He spoke the last bit loudly, so when Remus looked up he could wink promiscuously.

"I'm so jealous. Don't tell me you've seen Elton John too?" Hermione asked, turning round to look at him.

"Nah. I'll have to save that date for you" Sirius replied before sauntering off to join James and leaving a shocked Hermione staring after him, thinking Harry's godfather just hit on me over and over.

James walked over to Ginny and leant against the bookshelf " Your favourite team?"

"Most definitely the Harpies. I'm going to try out for the team when we get to Hogwarts"

"What position do you play?" James's ears perked up.

"Preferably Chaser, but I can be an alright Seeker too"

"I'm a chaser on the team and Sirius over there is one of our beaters. We're the best on the team by far." James ran his hand through his hair and smiled smugly.

"Not when I join you won't be"

James's face switched from smug to shocked.

"Cocky much?" He asked affronted.

"Well I've grown up playing on one of the best quidditch pitches in England, you can't possibly be not be cocky"

"I need to play on this field. It can't be better then mine"

"It most definitely is. Come round anytime. We'll play" Ginny stepped forward, grinning challengingly.

"You're on"

The pair spat and shook hands.

"So what's in the book?" Remus asked.

Luna looked up and snapped it shut immediately, the sound echoing through the aisle. "It was my mother's. She wrote family spells and potions in it. She also pressed flowers and wrote thoughts in it."

"Did she create any herself?" Remus felt drawn to the journal.

"A few Herbology things. She did edit some old magick though." Luna smiled. She was trying her hardest not to lie. She thought it attracted Gloobleshlacks.

"How far back?? I've always wanted to try, but the Lupins don't really have ancestral magic left..."

"700 years was the spell I liked the most" Luna waved her wand and the rest of her books flew into the cauldron, and the money for them flew into the managers cash pot behind the counter.

"Icecream??"
