Chapter 9: A Favor and A Request

Location: U-A High School.

Time: 11:00 am.

"Come on dude how many times are you gonna do this," Kirishima sighed as he walked beside his companion down the hallway.

"What the hell! He's the one who started it," Bakugo growled at him, annoyed at the insinuation because of what he lost in his battle.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean you get to almost send him to the hospital just because he made fun of you."

"LIKE HELL IT DOES, HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING!"

"He does but you're only stroking Monama's ego when you react to his insults."

"Tch, yeah breaking his nose is FANTASTIC ego stroking."

"When has physical pain ever stopped him?"

"Ask Big Fist."

"True, but SHE only knocks him out cold, YOU want permanent damage."

"We both know nobody minds either way."

"The school board does."

"They can bite me."

"And expel you."

"LIKE HE DIDN'T DESERVE IT FOR BREAKING MY GAUNTLET," Bakugo shouted as he raised his left arm, showing off the various cracks and singes on his grenade styled glove-wear, "HELL I SHOULD'VE CHOCKED HIM WITH THAT DAMN TUXEDO HE'S ALWAYS WEARING!"

"How do you choke someone with a tuxedo?"

"Well first you rip off the jacket, and then you shove down their throat, followed up by-"

"Ya know what, I don't wanna know."

"Then why the hell did you ask?"

"I don't even know anymore."

"Then figure it out."

"I'll try to, and try to figure out why I even attempt to put a leash on you."

"I. Am not. A DOG!"

"Evidence suggests otherwise."

"WHY ARE YOU EVEN FOLLOWING ME IF YOU WANNA RUN YOUR MOUTH!?"

"Because Mr. Aizawa wanted me to check on Midoriya, he's been gone for over ten minutes."

"Yeah, and I'm the one who needs the babysitter."

"You do."

"Grrrrrr."

"At least Midoriya won't kill anyone if we leave him alone."

"I WILL KIL-…"

"What was that?"

"Nothing," Bakugo scoffed as they finally arrived at the development studio, "Just grab the nerd and get back to the class before we lose to those extras."

"I just wonder what's been taking him so long, I hope he didn't get hurt or anything," Kirishima replied concerningly, as Bakugo opened the door to the lab.

"If he did it's his own damn faul-"

"So I had finally tracked down the place, which wasn't easy because it was a really rural side of town, I honestly didn't expect All Might's former teacher to live in a place like that," Midoriya explained, looking up at his girlfriend, having been laid down on the examination table so she could fix up some of the minor tears in his costume, and check on his Air Force gloves.

"Don't blame ya there, I certainly wouldn't think so," Hatsume replied as she finished up the examination, walking over to the end of the table where his head was, first placing her elbows just above his cranium, then propped her head with her hands as she leaned over him, making direct eye contact as she looked down, "But go on."

"Okay, it took back for a second or two before I went in through the front door, it was completely dark when I got in there, I could barely see anything, so I decided to call out and introduce myself, really still not knowing what to expect."

"Uh huhhhhhhh."

"Then when some of the light from the outside shined in, I saw him…laying on the floor, covered in red liquid and looking like his small intestine was ripped out."

"Hehehe, yeah," Hatsume tried to contain the oncoming laughter.

"So I start freaking out thinking he's dead, I nearly had a heart attack when I first saw him, a million things rush through my head, like 'what happened here,' and, 'I should call the police,' just panicking, panicking, panicking, and then after a couple seconds, he raises his head up."

"Here it comes," Hatsume excitedly whispered to herself; giddy as can be.

"And says," Midoriya then did a spot on impersonation of Gran Tornio's face, looking the same way his mentor did the day he met him during his internship; in the same vein as the All Might impression he was known for, "I'm alive!"

Hatsume burst out laughing at the sight, picturing not only the hilarious ruse the old man put on for Izuku, but also the ensuing freak out he had afterword. It didn't help that Izuku's impression was near perfection, and she always found this uncanny ability to be one hundred percent adorable, the same way he viewed her every time she laughed at the story, narrowing his eyes as he smiled dropping the look as he marveled at her.

"I still can't believe you find it this funny, I've told you this story twice now," he said calmly, as her laughter died down, so that way she could hear him.

"Eh, I just love the way you tell it," she smiled back, lowering her left hand from her chin, twirling her finger through his messy hair, "Gran Tornio doesn't tell it with as much flair as you do."

"Funny since he came up with the idea to scare me in the first place."

"I mean you are an easy target for that."

"H-hey," he said, pretending to be offended.

"Kidding, kidding," she laughed.

"I know baby."

"Glad to know you're catching on."

"I'm a slow learner, but I learn."

"Fair enough," she leaned down to kiss him on the forehead, a tinge of pinking forming on his cheeks.

'Well this is awkward,' Kirishima stared blankly, almost baffled by their obliviousness, whilst Bakugo just looked like he was about to vomit as his left eye twitched.

"I should probably get back to class."

"Awwww do you have to," Mei play pouted as she whined.

"Yeaaaaah I do," he sighed, taking her hand into his own, "Mr. Aizawa will get annoyed if I'm gone too long, and you don't know true fear until you've had detention with him," Midoriya grimaced, remembering the horror stories told by Kaminari and Mineta where they were hung upside down for two hours.

"Sounds scary."

"It is."

"Well you better get on then before he grows another vein on his forehead."

"I will, but before I do…"

"Yeah yeah I know," she leaned down to his face once more, stopping just a couple inches short of it, "Come here future number one," with that they closed their eyes and the gap between them, kissing upside down is a bit cumbersome (contrary to popular belief), but they didn't care; Izuku loved when she called him that.

They didn't mind their intimacy, but Bakugo sure did, the young man cringing where he stood, the unseemly and disgusting sight was turning his face completely green, his hand shooting up to his mouth as he held back the bile waste that was building up in his throat, barely able to contain it any longer. Kirishima then slowly leaned down to pick up a small trash can nearby, and handed it over to him, Katsuki quickly taking it so he could release it all.

In one big, yet subtle-

"BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!"

…Okay maybe not subtle.

Deku and Mei's eyes opened simultaneously, breaking the kiss as their attention turned toward the loud invasion of their privacy, the couple raising up from their positions to see the two they had been inadvertently ignoring this whole time.

"Oh, hey Kirishima and Kacchan," Deku greeted warmly as he hopped off the table.

'Hurrrraaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy, it's Kacchan,' Mei thought as she rolled her eyes.

"H-hey Midoriya," Kirishima replied patting Katsuki's back as he continued to vomit, "Mr. Aizawa wants you to get back to the class, so he sent me over to grab ya."

"Oh, must've been longer than I thought."

"Eh don't sweat it my man, it's alright."

"Is Kacchan okay?"

"BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!"

"I uh…think he speaks for himself."

"Should we take him for Recovery Girl?"

"Bluuuugh gah, uuuugggghhh," Bakugo finally lifted his head from the trash can, wiping some of the residue off his lip with his arm, "No, no I don't need to see her. I just need…to stop…seeing you makeout Deku."

"O-o-oh," Deku nervously rubbed the back of his, embarrassed at his lack of awareness, Mei merely crossed her arms and looked at him with annoyance, "S-sorry about that."

"Nah man it's cool," Kirishima smiled, "You're just locking lips with your lady, nothing terrible."

"For me it is," Katsuki growled, swallowing the bile back down into the abyss, his remark causing Ejiro to sigh at his antics, Mei's scowl grew.

"Dude, *sigh* sorry he's mad today," Kirishima apologized.

"Don't apologize for him," Mei sternly replied, causing Midoriya to hard swallow in fear, knowing how scary she was when she was like this.

"Somebody has to," Red Riot groaned.

"NOBODY APOLOGIZES FOR ME!"

"Huh, maybe that's why they wanna lock you up again," the inventor sassed at him, flaring up his anger even more.

"WELL AT LEAST I HAVE AN EXCUSE TO MAKE EXPLOSIONS," Bakugo yelled, Kirishima needing to hold him back by his arms.

"YEAH AND BULLY QUIRKLESS MIDDLE SCHOOLERS," Mei joined the shouting match, Izuku having to hold her shoulders as she moved past him to get in his rival's face.

"THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO AND YOU KNOW IT!"

"YEAH THREE YEARS IS SUCH A LONG TIME! DIDN'T KNOW YOU SUCKED AT MATH TO!"

"WHAT WAS THAT WEIRD EYES!?"

"YOU HEARD ME SMELLY SWEAT!"

"This isn't very productive you two," Kirishima shouted, pulling back his friend as much as he could.

"I agree, fighting isn't gonna solve anything," Deku concurred.

"BUT MURDER WILL!"

"FOR ONCE I AGREE WITH YOU!"

"How do you expect to get her to fix your equipment if you're at each other's throats," Kirishima grunted, using his quirk to keep the beast restrained.

"Hatsume, please calm down," Midoriya asked in a sad tone, "I know he can be a jerk sometimes, but I don't want you getting angry at him for the rest of the day, especially today."

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrr," the two growled in unison, their aura of pure rage and distain for one another boiling over, before slowly simmering, their respective restrainers words finally setting in as they back away from each other, but not before a little, "Hmph!"

"Sorry Izuku," Hatsume turned around, hugging him to reassure that she was fine now, Hatsume had always known Katsuki to be an Ill-tempered hot head, and that he had a particular grudge against her Izuku, and after they started dating she asked what his problem was, and even though Midoriya tried his best to describe the complication of their relationship, and how it had improved, it didn't quell Mei's rage when she had learned all the things the explosion boy had done to him over the years, reminding her of her own bullies during her middle school days. For Izuku's sake though, she tolerated him as much as she could given the knowledge, but failed in certain instances like these because she just couldn't control herself, being quite thankful for Kirishima being both his sitter and his friend, despite not understanding how he could put up being either.

"It's just he makes me so mad," Mei gritted her teeth.

"I know, I know, he's getting better though," Izuku smiled, comforting her a little.

"Could've fooled me."

"Hatsume…"

"*Sigh*…You are so lucky you're adorable," she finally smiled back at him, before kissing the tip of his nose, "I'll be nice."

"Thank you, I'm sorry for asking so much of you."

"It's fine, just get back to class before you become a ceiling ornament."

"That is the last I want today," he nervously replied, before kissing her again, causing Bakugo to nearly repeat his earlier routine but Kirishima jabbed him again much to his dismay, "See you at four?"

"See you at four."

"Great, I love you."

"Love you to."

Midoriya reluctantly let go of her, before turning and heading toward the door.

"Are you gonna behave," Kirishima asked his ball and chain.

"I don't need you to watch over me every five seconds!"

"Bakugoooooooooo."

"Tch, fine, I'll be good," he gritted his teeth.

"You better."

"Yes mom," he groaned, rolling his eyes.

"You better or I'll call her again."

"I hate you."

"No you don't."

"Sh-shut up."

"Anyway, I'll see ya back in class," Kirishima said his goodbyes as he joined Midoriya in exiting the lab, "Try to return our boy in one piece Hatsume!"

"Oh believe me, I'll try," Hatsume sighed, the peacekeeper and her boy toy now gone, leaving behind a tense atmosphere as they shot each other a glare, a long silence descending the room.

"So what's the damage?"

"Thought your quirk gave you better eyesight."

"The least you could do is make this easy," she scowled at him again, taking her seat at her designated work desk.

"Fine, that copycat bastard broke my gauntlet I need you to fix it," he explained, removing the arm-wear and placing it on the surface infront of her.

"How'd he manage that," she asked, lowering her goggles down over her eyes, as she opened the right drawer to pull out her trusty welder, the damage mostly being a few cracks and crevices; nothing she couldn't handle.

"Same way he does everything, being an annoying little ass."

"Huh, another thing we agree on."

"Thought you loved all your clients."

"Says the living proof that I don't."

"And I'm the one making things difficult."

"You want this fixed or not?"

"Anyone else on call today?"

"Not for another hour unless you wanna spontaneously develop patience," she quipped, the sparks shooting off the gauntlet as she welded.

"I've got plenty of patience."

"Color me surprised."

"If you wanna be that way about I'll just wait for somebody else, they'd probably do a better job anyway…"

"…"

"Oh what, did I finally get you to shut up?"

Mei slowly inhaled as she stopped welding, raising her goggles back up to the top of her head gear, exhaling once she placed her hands on the opposite sides of the gauntlet, before looking Bakugo dead in the eye…

"Whoops!"

Then chucked the dark green grenade over her head and toward the direction of the trash can.

"HEY," Bakugo acted fast, using a small explosion from his palms to propel himself over quick enough to catch his accessory, "WHAT THE HELL GEAR HEAD!?"

"I'm sorry," Hatsume spun her chair around, wearing a bright and cheeky grin, her eyes closed to further along her current condescending attitude, "Actually no I'm not, not even a smidge, you see I love working in the support course a lot, I've built some of the best babies I've ever done in this lab, and it's made happier than I could ever imagine being before getting into this school, and with that I have to accept the duty of repairing and building whatever item I can to help support future heroes in the making even if they like running their trashy, angry, smug, overconfident, bloated ego, and rude mouth every chance they get!"

"Then fix it!"

"No."

"Why!?"

"Why do you think?"

"F-f-fine," he looked away angrily before muttering under his breath, "I'm sorry…"

"Huuuuuuuh?"

"I'm. Sorry."

"Little louder," Hatsume requested, as she sneakily held up her phone out of his line of sight.

"…I'm sorry."

"Now say 'I'm sorry Support Goddess Mei Hatsume!'"

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"

"Dooooo it, or not fixy fixy."

"…"

"Well?"

"…I'm sorry Support Goddess Mei Hatsume!"

"Who is the best."

"Who is the best."

"In the world?"

"In...*sigh* the world."

"Now say 'I'm pretty pretty princess!'"

"Oh hell no."

"DO IT!"

"…I'm a pretty…pret…..ty…..princess…now please fix my gauntlet," he painfully said, feeling an aneurism coming on.

"Annnnnnnnnd recorded."

"What!?"

"You heard right sparky sparky boom man!"

"DELETE THAT!"

"Nope!"

"DO IT NOW!"

"Over my dead body."

"That can be arranged," he sneered, smoke emanating from his hands.

"And so can me giving this to your lightning buddy who will no doubt torment you with this until it brings you down a peg."

"SO WHAT I'LL KILL HIM TO!"

"Your pride will die first," Hatsume twirled the phone in her hand mockingly at the boy.

"So help me I'll-"

"You'll. Do. What?"

"…"

"I thought so."

"What do you want?"

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"

"What do you want, you would've done something with that by now if you didn't…so what do you want pinkie?"

"I'm glad you asked."

5 Hours Later…

Location: U-A Courtyard.

Midoriya patiently waited outside the 1-A dorms, dressed fairly snazzier than usual, donned in a red shirt and dark green waistcoat, black pants, and his normal red shoes. Awaiting the arrival of his love for their one year anniversary date night, but he was a little confused, having gotten a very ominous sounding text from Mei a couple hours prior.

It read: You are in for a hilarious surprise. C ya 4 Love you!

Okay, it wasn't that ominous but it was a little off putting, a feeling that quickly subsided as she had arrived to the dorm, dressed in a beige colored coat, another one of her black tank tops, and black pants, and wearing a very big grin.

"Hey," he said, taking in her new look.

"Hiyyyyaaaaaaaa Izu!"

"You look amazing," he complimented, making her blush as she took his hand.

"Thanks, looking sharp yourself Mr. Handsome."

"Aw, I don't look that great."

"Oh stop being so bashful and come on," she pulled him toward the direction of the school, giggling to herself as did so, "I wanna show you something."

"O-o-okay, lead the way," he tilted his head curiously, but trusted her either way, so he relaxed.

Soon they found themselves at the stairs leading up to the school rooftop, Midoriya becoming a little nervous since he was pretty sure that they weren't allowed up her, so he began to question her.

"S-so what's going on dear?"

"You'll see babe, you'll see," she replied still pulling his arm.

"Isn't it against the rules to be up here though?"

"Ehhhhhhhh yeah but I got special clearance to be up here."

"Really? How?"

"I asked Power Loader to give it to me."

"You asked or you begged?"

"Little column A little column B."

"I'm surprised he agreed anyway."

"Wellllll I may have told him I'd get back on a proper sleep schedule and not blow up the lab this week," she grinned, stopping their advance as they reached the top of the stairs.

"W-wow, that's really big for you."

"You're worth it," she kissed his cheek, before letting go of his hand and placing her own on the door to the roof, "Ready to be blown away?"

"Always."

"TA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA," Hatsume suddenly threw open the door, allowing Midoriya to behold quite beautiful image, a series of small florescent lights making a pathway to the middle of the roof, where a small candle lit table, draped in a large red and white cloth cover awaited them; the kind of setting you would only see at the fanciest of restaurants, and needless to say Midoriya was mesmerized, his eyes glued to the impressive and quite romantic image.

"W-wow."

"Surprise," she whispered in his ear before taking his hand to lead him to the table.

"H-how long did this take you?"

"A couple hours, I had some help though so don't worry about it."

"Th-this is amazing Mei."

"Glad you think it," she took the compliment as they sat in their respective seats across from one another; Mei taking the left side for her own specific reasons, and Midoriya taking the right.

"How could I not, but I thought you wanted to go to the ice cream parlor this week."

"I did, but I thought this would make you make you happy since it was your pick this time."

"You didn't have to do that."

"I know, I just wanted to," she looked warmly into his eyes, Izuku reciprocating it as well, allowing a brief moment of silence to enjoy the ambiance.

"So who helped you?"

"Oh! That reminds me," Mei raised up her to the sky, snapping her fingers twice, "OH WAITER!"

"Huh?"

"Oh you'll see."

"Y-yes mam," cringed and strained voice rang out as someone approached Izuku from behind, the quirk inheritors eyes widening at the sound.

"No…"

"Yep."

"You didn't."

"I sure did."

"How?"

"Blackmail," Bakugo muttered, as he finally came into both their views, wearing a white long-sleeved button up, a velvet vest and pants, and black dress shoes, his very formal attire topped off by the painful detail Hatsume added for him after hearing about it from Sero a couple months ago, his hair was in the same Best Jeanist style he hated so much, the reason for why he was twitching like a mad man.

"Oh my god," Midoriya took in the 'glory' before him, not exactly sure how to react to it, he felt sorry for him for sure, but he would be lying if he said he didn't deserve it for insulting his Hatsume earlier, never the less he stared on.

"Wh-what…would you like…for dinner…this evening," Bakugo spoke, each word more painful than the last as he restrained himself from taking a swan dive off the roof.

"Well, I'd like a large chocolate mousse, and a glass of water," she smugly grinned at the blonde teen, who was writing down her order, "What about you babe?"

"…"

"…"

"Something wrong Izuku?"

"Y-….ye…..yes," Bakugo said, "I-…is….there….some…thing wrong….Dek-"

"Up up up," Hatsume held up her finger to signal his mistake.

"*Painful exasperated sigh*….Is there something wrong….Mr. Midoriya," he asked, nearly killing him on the inside, as Izuku remained dumbfounded.

"…"

"…"

"S-s-s-sir," Bakugo asked again.

"He'll have a bowl of Katsudon and a water to, your favorite right dear?"

Midoriya nodded, still not looking away, as Katsuki wrote down his order.

"V-v-….ery good….I'll be right back," Bakugo walked away from the table to go prepare their food.

"Thank you sir," Hatsume yelled while waving at him despite his back being turned.

"DON'T MENTION IT!"

"I won't," she laughed, and in a blink of an eye, Bakugo brought out their food and quickly set up the table, having their dishes prepared in advance to get the night over with for him quickly.

"Sir, madam, enjoy your dinner your dinner for tonight and I hope I have provided you with excellent service and quality," Kacchan spoke a mile a minute firing off word after word at the speed of a race car, "Only the best service for our most valued guests Support Course Goddess Queen Mei Hatsume and….."

"Go onnnnnn."

"..."

"Bakugo?"

"…Kill me now."

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Only the best for…The future number one greatest hero of all time….I-….zu….ku….Midoriya," that last part felt like he was being stabbed at every single possible angle of his body, and if you looked closely at him for that moment you'd see a piece of soul leave his mortal coil. Deku just remained static at the whole affair, his eyes glued to his childhood friend, expressionless.

"That's a good boy."

"Am I done now?"

"…Eh why not," Mei reached under the table, lifting up two brand new and shiny dark green grenade gauntlets, a genuine and feral smile found it's way onto him, eradicating his last mood, "Built to perfection with even more insulation features as you requested, a button on the side that let's you customize the output you need, and a bonus addition that shoots out sleeves for cold environments to allow you to stock up more sweat for battle."

"Ohhhhhohohhhhoooooooooooooooooo (redacted curse word) yeah!"

"You bet."

"And what we agreed on?"

Hatsume held up her phone, and deleted the recording, elating Bakugo greatly, "You're free to go."

She tossed the gauntlets into his hand, the moment he caught them his hair shot back out to his usual spikey style, he quickly placed them on his hands and felt the satisfying weightlessness to them, his smile widening, looking closer to a serial killer than a hero; but meh that's Bakugo.

"Enjoy your night sparky."

"OH HELL, *BOOOOOOOM!* YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH," he yelled as he blasted off into the night, happy as can be.

"…" Izuku finally turned back to face his love, his eyes wide and mouth gaping open.

"Yep."

"…"

"Don't worry, I wasn't too mean, I just wanted him to do this one thing."

"…"

"Surprisingly he was pretty chill about it, didn't even yell at me once, so yeah I guess I can finally believe you when you say he's made progress."

"…"

"…" Mei frowned, feeling a little disappointed in herself, feeling even from the start he wouldn't approve of this, "Izuku…please say something, I know I probably shouldn't have but I really wanted to make tonight the best it could possibly be, but if is screwed up just say it and I'll-"

"Marry me."

"Let him g-…huh?"

"Marry me."

"…Heheheh," Mei perked up again, beginning to laugh as Izuku's bewilderment turned to joy, "Dontcha think it's a little too early to ask me that?"

"I don't care, marry me, right now, that was fantastic."

"Hehehe, okay, I'll think about it, give me till graduation and I may say yes."

"G-great, looking forward to it."

"Me to, now dig in my sweet."

"Yes mam!"

The pleasantries of the evening extended to both the food, and another beautiful night of viewing the stars, the lights of the campus and the city beyond it, just like the night they kissed for the first time.

Here they were on the rooftop of the school that brought them together.

Just them.

The two.

The Hero and The Inventor.

Who married, after graduation from their last year at U-A.

But that was a story for another time.

Author's Note:...I am, so grateful for this story in every regard I can conceivably give thanks for, nearly 2 years ago I decided to sit down and write the day after Christmas in 2018, and changed my life forever, gaining confidence in myself, overcoming and dealing with the tragedy of losing my now late uncle, and allowing me to dabble in this community that has introduced me to so many fantastic author's and their works that not only inspired me but helped me along the way, and I don't think i could ever put into words how much i really loved and appreciated it all when I hit those lows points of not thinking i was any good at writing at all, and helped me push past it to entertain all of you for as long as I have and will continue to do in the future.

Thank you all for everything you have done for me, and taking the time to read my story, i love everything that has happened to this tale, and i will never be able to express the joy it has brought me over the years and the fact that it broke over 100 favorites and follows.

Ill come back again to really end this all off, as hinted in the end passage, but I dont exactly know when i'll get around to it.

Whenever that comes, I hope to see you there, hopefully happy yet sad to see it go as I am.

Thank you all again, stay safe, be good people, see you in the end.
