Upon freeing the Ice Captain, Pagos, the team learns of the Captain of the Dark Temple, Sabios. A man suspected to be manipulating other oracles with his magic. Suspicions that he may be manipulating Ellios and the source of everything, or heroes leave the search for Ravio to Tanvir and Kira while they head to the Thunder Temple, that stands between them and the Dark Temple, where they hope to get their answers.

Ben with his Sneasel and Pichu were the first to set foot into the Thunder Temple. Then Yuugo and Yuuko followed in with their Digimon. And finally Fei and FanBeemon came in.

"So, this is the Thunder Temple." Ben said.

Two Pachirisu and a Voltorb spotted them. The white Pokemon shot small volts at them and they jumped out of the way.

"Getting right to it eh?" Fei asked. "Alright let's go!"

Yuuko nodded. "We'll take on whatever we have to. Ravio and his father are suffering. We need to hurry to the Dark Temple and put an end to it!"

"Cog Crusher."

"Turbo Stinger!" Hagurumon and FanBeemon shot at the Pachirisu, knocking them out.

Guilmon ran towards Voltorb. "Rock Breaker!" He smashed his hand into the Pokemon, knocking it to the other side of the room.

"Let's go!" Ben lead the team to the other end where a WarpZone took them to the next area. They walked around a curved path and were blocked by another Pachirisu and Voltorb. "Sneasel! Night Slash!" Sneasel dashed into the Pachirisu right before it could fire a bolt at it.

"Nanomachine Break!" FanBeemon glowed yellow before crashing into the Voltorb. The attack didn't hurt it much, but it did distract it long enough for Ben to capture it with his Styler. Another Voltorb spotted them and rolled towards them.

"Wolkenapalm!" Guilmon slapped it with his hand glowing red and it rolled away out of control.

"Well, that's one way to do it." Ben muttered. "Come on!"

They ran ahead, around another turn and two Pachirisu were seen blocking the next WarpZone. "Pichu!" Ben shot his Styler as his Pokemon played music. As Ben looped the gadget around them the music soothed them, slowing both down. Soon they lost interest in fighting and left.

"Okay, let's keep it up." Yuuko said as they entered the next WarpZone. They ended up in a big, symmetrical room. Looking around there were six pathways around them all leading to yellow switches, likely opening bridges to the islands around them that each had WarpZones.

Yuggo saw a familiar seal on the ground near them. "Well, there's the WarpZone, but we still haven't found any Pokemon connected to it."

"Let's split up and look around." Ben said.

"But only your Styler can tame them, Ben." Fei replied. "If one of us finds them, we can't do anything."

"So, we'll meet up here once we're done. If you find it you can still tell me where it is when we regroup."

Yuugo nodded. "Ben's right. It'll be faster this way."

"Alright, let's go." The team left in separate directions. Ben took the upper left corner and hit the switch. The path opened for him, but a Bronzong blocked the way. "Pichu, Thunder Wave!" Ben's partner Pokemon gave the opponent a shock that paralyzed it. Ben was able to capture it with little difficulty.

They continued to the WarpZone to the next room. Up a pathway in front of them they found two switches.

"Oh, boy I've been in enough of these temples to know where this is going." Ben sighed knowing one of these had to be a trap. "Pichu? Any suggestions?"

Ukulele Pichu looked at the switches. He walked over to the left one and pressed it. A Riolu appeared near them with a yellow glow.

"That's it." Ben said. "Let's do this!"

Sneasel leapt at the Riolu, but the Pokemon jumped back and punched it so hard it went flying. Ben caught it, before it could get hurt further.

"You might want to sit this one out pal." Ben said, putting Sneasel down. "Fighting Types are strong against both Ice and Dark. Pichu, Quick Attack!"

Riolu used the same attack and they charged each other, but Pichu had some more force backing his attack, and knocked Riolu over. While it was on the ground, Ben went for the capture.

"One down." Ben looked over at the other switch. "That's most likely a trap, so moving on." He turned around and walked away.

By the time Ben got back to the red WarpZone the others were already their waiting for him.

"Yuugo and I had no luck. Did you find anything?" Yuuko asked.

"Yeah. The Riolu open the gate."

"Small blue furry guys with big black ears?" Fei asked.

"Yeah. Did you see one?"

GoldGuardromon walked over to him with a Riolu tight in her grip. The Pokemon yelped and struggled in her hands.

"Sheesh, don't crush the poor guy." Ben sighed. He looped the Styler around the Riolu repeatedly until it claimed down. GoldGuardromon put it down and it ran off. Suddenly the seal on the WarpZone glowed red and slowly disappeared leaving the red WarpZone uncovered. "So that's what it looks like when the seal's released." Ben said.

"The Steelhead is up ahead." Yuugo said. "Is everyone ready?"

"Sure am."

"I'm ready." Yuuko nodded.

"Do ya even have to ask?" Fei grinned.

"Then let's go."

They went through the WarpZone and into the final room. As usual they went up the stairs and the platform ascended them to where the oracle stood. This one had a Lucario. "You must be the ones who have conquered half of the temples. I bid you welcome to the Thunder Temple."

"Gee thanks." Ben replied. "First one of you to roll out the red carpet."

"However, your luck has run out. You will fall here. By my hand!" His Pokemon roared as it ran towards them.

"Here he comes!"

"GeoGreymon!"

"Guardromon!"

"GoldGuardomon!"

All three Digimon charged towards it at once. GeoGreymon tried to thrust his horns at it, but Lucario jumped on his head and leapt over it, before punching into GoldGuardromon, then threw her into Guardromon. GeoGreymon came at it from behind again, but Lucario backflipped over it and hit it with Aura Sphere.

"Does that thing have eyes on the back of its head or something?" Fei asked.

"No." Yuuko's Digivice displayed an image of the Pokemon. "That's Lucario. Fighting/Steel Type. It says here that a that it can sense the aura of living beings to read their thoughts and movements."

"Then it knows every move we're about to make?" Ben asked. "What do we do?"

"I have no idea…"

"Well for starters we could buff up our Digimon." Fei suggested as she watched Lucario dodge al their attacks while landing all of its own. "Champions clearly stand no chance against this guy!"

DIGIVOLUTION

"GeoGreymon Digivolve to…SkullGreymon!"

"Guardromon Digivolve to…Datamon."

"GoldGuardromon Digivolve to…Grademon!"

"Oh, ho! So, this is the spontaneous evolution your creatures can perform." The Steelhead said. "The real battle shall now begin."

"Couldn't agree more!" Grademon rushed towards Lucario. Just as Lucario threw a punch, Grademon got behind it. "Saint Knuckle!" Her shining fist hit it from behind, knocking it towards SkullGreymon.

"Comet Hammer!" the skeleton Digimon rammed his fist upward at it and Lucario was airborne.

"Ripping Net." Datamon threw a blast of electricity, stunning Lucario and it hit the ground.

"Now's our chance!" Ben said. "Dogpile him!"

SkullGreymon brought his hand down on top of Lucario. Grademon and Datamon pushed down on top of it. Finally, Sneasel jumped on with Pichu who jumped up and down on the pile.

"We got him!" Fei smirked.

Yuuko was still looking at her Digivice. "That seemed too easy…Wait…What?!"

Yuugo looked at her. "What's wrong?"

"Everyone! Get away from it! Now!"

The Steelhead laughed. "Too late."

With a mighty roar, Lucario threw all of them off of him. It was glowing blue with angry eyes.

"Okay…is this bad?" Ben asked. "It looks bad."

Yuuko was back on her Digivice. "According to this, Lucario's aura gets stronger the more damage it takes. When pressured its speed and strength drastically increase!"

"Yup. That sounds bad."

In a shocking burst of speed Lucario rushed into Grademon, kicking her over. He then threw four energy spheres that landed on SkullGreymon, and Sneasel.

"Digital Bomb." Datamon shot projectiles at it, but Lucario moved around all of them before throwing a powerful punch that projected a fiery fist at him.

"Pichu! Quick Attack!" Ben said.

"Naïve!" the Steelhead scoffed. "Extreme Speed!"

Both Pokemon charged at each other but Lucario was far faster and hit so hard, poor Pichu went flying.

"Pichu!" Ben ran under the Pokemon and caught him.

Grademon got back up and drew his swords. "Enough games!"

"Bone Rush!"

Hearing the Steelhead's orders, Lucario manifested a bone shaped staff in his hands and ran at Grademon. The Digimon blocked the first swing with one blade and tried to attack Lucario with the other, but it quickly tilted its weapon upwards to block it. And just like that Grademon was forced on the defensive, with no choice but to block the swarm of attacks, and no chance to attack. Then Lucario thrusted its weapon into Grademon's chest, sending her sliding backwards on her feet. The Digimon grunted as she sheathed her blades. "Cross Blade!"

She drew the swords and rushed forward, but Lucario sidestepped as he swung, then his bone staff upward, knocking one of Grademon's katanas out of her hand. Then Lucario threw its bone staff into her, knocking her over.

"Faint Attack!" Ben's Snealsel jumped towards Lucario form behind.

"Aura Sphere!" The Pokemon immediately turned around and threw a blue orb at it, knocking it out of the air in a flash.

"Oh great." Ben groaned. "All our attacks did was make it stronger."

"And all of our next attacks will make it stronger still." Yuugo added. "Our next move will have to finish it off or we'll be in even bigger trouble."

Then an idea clicked into Yuugo's head. "Wait…That's it!" She whipped out her Digivice. "SkullGreymon change into BlueMetalGreymon!"

"Right! SkullGreymon! Slide Evolution! BlueMetalGreymon!"

"BlueMetalGreymon, use Revenge Flame!"

The Digimon cloaked himself in flame.

"What schemes are you plotting now?" The Steelhead asked. "Whatever they are, I won't let you succeed! Lucario! Close Combat!"

The Steelhead's Pokemon ran up to BlueMetalGreymon and unleashed a fury of punches at him. Even as the bombardment continued, BlueMetalGreymon only winced but did not move from where he stood.

"It's open." Ben muttered. "Pichu! Thunder Wave!"

From behind Pichu was prepared to attack, but Lucario turned around and fired a stream of Aura Spheres at him. The Pokemon yelped as he ran.

"Made you look!" Lucario turned around. BlueMetalGreymon was no longer cloaked in flame, but the cannon on his chest glowed blue. "Revenge Flame!" He fired a massive blast of blue fire at Lucario. The attack sent him hurtling to the floor.

"Nice! Fire against a Steel Type! Now's our chance Pichu!"

"Lucario! Stand! I command you!" The Steelhead's Pokemon was badly hurt and could barely get on one knee. Ben's partner stunned Lucario using Thunder Wave.

"Capture on!" Ben launched his Styler and looped it around the paralyzed Lucario repeatedly. Soon both Oracle and Pokemon collapsed to the floor. "We did it!"

Yuugo smiled to his sister. "Nice thinking Yuuko."

"Thank you, brother."

A Heart Slate appeared nearby and Ben picked it up. The Steelhead slowly got to his feet. "Wh-what was I doing? And who are you…?"

"I'm Ben. And this is Yuugo, Yuuko and Fei. You were being controlled by a spell we believe to be from Sabious who went rouge."

"…Oh I see. I was somewhat conscious even under the spell…Ohhh…It was too much. For the sake of those poor Pokemon, I'll join you!"

Ben's group returned the plaza. "Welcome back, Ben, Yuugo, Yuuko, Fei." Tanvir said.

"Hey guys….Hey wait…aren't those…" To Ben's surprise it wasn't just the rest of their team but the Forest, Fire, and Ice Captains were waiting for them as well.

"Long time no see Ben." Dasios greeted.

"I heard that Ravio is missing in Teakwood Forest." Flegos said. "I'm so worried…I'd better go to the temple and look for him."

Kira bowed. "Thank you! Please help us find him!"

Flagos was the first to leave through the gate to the temples. "I'll go to the east side." The Forrest Captain said before leaving.

"I'll talk to the other oracles, too." Pagos said. "I hope we'll find Ravio safely soon…"

As the Ice Captain left, Kira addressed the others. "The rest of you, please continue to investigate the temples. We'll take care of Ravio."

"Understood." Yuugo replied. "It's a good thing that so many of the Oracles are on our side now. We should pick up our pace and leave the search to them."

Ami nodded. "Yeah. Besides, the more Steelhead we rescue the more people we have looking for Ravio."

"I agree." Ben nodded. "After some preparations, I'll go back in with Takumi, Ami and Arata."

"Okay." Summer replied. "I'll head out with Nokia, Yuugo and Yuuko."

"What about me?" Fei asked.

"You just went through two temples in a row." Ben said. "Take a break so you'll be at your best when we need you.

"The sooner we get to the Dark Temple, the sooner we can confirm Sabios's true intentions and hopefully Ravio's location." Takumi said. "Let's hurry!"

The Thunder Temple raids begin and next up...ugh. The next level is one I have bad memories of. Anyone who tried to do the multiplayer missions solo knows what I'm talking about. It's what I like to call the "Wall" for single players.
