Katsuki's New Determination and Class Election
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Izuku asked as he and Ochaco walk into the monitoring room.
"Just came by to make sure you don't go overboard, like your battle with Katsuki." Nemuri answered with a twitching eyebrow.
"Come on, I didn't hurt him that bad." Izuku brushed off the worry.
"He was bleeding a lot when he was being carried by those robots." Kyoka pointed out.
"That's just how we always spare with each other, and he always comes right back up from that too." Izuku explained shocking his classmates.
"Seriously?! You guys are nut!" Denki scared.
"I hate to see what you guys do when you fight for real." Minoru gulped.
"Alright, I know that first battle was scary but that is something you may have to face in the future when you become Pros, now let's to the MVP of the battle and that person is… Tenya Iida!" All Might announced.
"Shouldn't it be one of the heroes since they won?" Tsuyu confused.
"Perhaps, but there is more to do being a hero than winning fights." Midnight said.
"Midnight is right. Can anyone guess why Young Iida is MVP?" All Might asked.
"Sir, I can explain why." Momo raised her hand.
"Iida embraced this challenge; he was the only one who truly adapted to his assigned role. Bakugo and Midoriya's battle may have been what heroes and villains fighting each other, but they both took the battle too far as for their long history of always fighting each other, not to mention the damage their done could have destroyed parts of the building where their partners and the weapon are." Momo explained.
"It's not my fault we like to go all out." Izuku muttered.
"As for Uraraka, she let her guard down mid-battle, and her final attack was far to reckless given the hypothetical stakes. If she'd treated the fake weapon as though it were real, she never would've risked using such an imprecise move." Momo lectured.
"Iida was fully prepared for his opponent's arrival. He had a strategy, and never lost sight of his mission to protect the dummy weapon, even if he was foiled in the end." Momo said, and Iida smiles from hearing how great he did.
"Technically, the hero team won, yes, but they took advantage of the fact that this was training. They didn't respect the spirit of the trial." Momo finished her explanation.
"(Sheesh, this girl needs to learn how to relax.)" Izuku thought.
"Such a bright young mind you have there, it's no wonder you got in through recommendation." Midnight admired.
"One should always start with the basics and devote themselves wholeheartedly to learning. That's the only real way to become a top hero." Momo stated.
"You know what I think?" Izuku asked walking up to Momo.
"You think too much. You need to relax otherwise you'll end up hurting yourself in a fuck up way." Izuku said.
"What?! How dare you say such things, it's only right that we have to be prepare for whatever comes our way." Momo proclaimed.
"Not everything is gonna go as you planned ahead, there are bound to be screwups and no can see it coming. That just how life is." Izuku shrugged.
"Okay, okay, everyone. I believe it's time we get onto the other battles." All Might pointed out.
(All Class 1-A Battles Later)
Once everyone was done with their battles, which All Might and Midnight found them to be great as the students gave it their all, everyone is met up at the exit tunnel.
"That's a warp! Super great work! You really stepped up to the plate and we didn't have any major injuries, except for Young Bakugo. You should be proud, excellent first day of training, all around!" All Might complimented.
"It's nice to heat some encouraging words after our homeroom class. Mr. Aizawa was kind of a buzzkill." Tsuyu said as her classmate nods in agreement.
"I know Aizawa can be dark and gloomy sometimes, but he really is a caring guy. Just in his own way." Midnight explained.
"I'm happy to bring such positive air to my students!" All Might smiled.
"That's all for now, folks! It's time I go check on how Young Bakugo is doing. Now, watch how a hero exits, like he's got somewhere to be!" All Might blitzed away from his students leaving a little shockwave from the dash.
"Okay, you guys, that is a hero!" Denki believed.
"Ah, I'll never be able to run that fast." Mashirao exclaimed.
"Super awesome!" Minoru said.
"(Except they all have no idea that All Might has reached his limit to remain in his hero form, he started struggling to keep it maintain a few minutes ago. I'm worry this may effect his timing to teach his class.)" Izuku thought concerned of All Might's condition from teaching his class all the way.
"Hey Deku, are you okay? You look worry." Ochaco asked, noticing the expression on Izuku's face.
"It's nothing to worry about." Izuku patted Ochaco on the head which causes her cheeks to turn slightly red.
"Alright, I'll be heading back to my class then. See you all later." Midnight walked away waving goodbye to the students.
(Later, with Katsuki)
Katsuki's eyes started to open up, the first sight he sees is a ceiling and looks around noticing his arm with a medical tube.
"Ah shit, I lost to him." Katsuki said.
"I see you're awake, sunny." Recovery Girl said on her chair.
"How are you feeling right now?" The hero nurse asked.
"Like I've been through Hell and came back." Katsuki answered as he sat up.
"Well, it looks like your mental state seems to be in order. Probably because of that thick skull of yours, and it's a surprise that you would survive a cut wound like that if the cuts were deeper." Recovery Girl said as she takes the tube off Katsuki's arm.
"Deku isn't a stupid animal like you think, he knows when to hold back an attack just enough to render his prey useless in the end." Katsuki explained.
"I see, though I was able to heal the cut on your chest but your stamina is mostly drained from using my Quirk on you which is why I left the bandages on your chest to help you recover the rest of the way over night." Recover Girl mentioned and gave Katsuki one piece of candy.
"Like that's going to stop me from surpassing Deku and All Might and be the Number 1 Hero who always win!" Katsuki determined as he leaves the nurse's office.
"That boy certainly is something, I can see why Izuku sees him as a great rival though he wouldn't admit it out loud." Recover Girl smiled.
(UA High Front Gate)
Katsuki is walking out of the school building with his school bag, earlier when he arrived at the classroom saying he was going home now his classmates tried to stop him but wouldn't listen to them, he just left without saying another word.
Katsuki stop when he spotted Deku leaning his back on one of the pillars.
"I see you've recovered." Izuku said.
"Yeah, your claws hurt like shit as always." Katsuki commented.
"I came to let you know of the competition of our classmates." Izuku revealed walking up to him.
"Like what?" Katsuki asked.
"Well, Momo is pretty smart like how she pointed out our fight would have destroyed some parts of the building." Izuku explained.
"Yeah, my attack is stupid to use indoors." Katsuki admitted.
"There also one guy named Shoto Todoroki, his Quirk is amazing that he froze the entire building in seconds for an instant win, he also seems to have a heat Quirk to melt the ice he created. I think he might give us a hard time." Izuku mentioned as he remembers seeing Shoto's power back during the hero combat training.
"Damn, that's going to be hard to beat." Katsuki clutched his fists.
You're not getting chicken, are you?" Izuku asked with a smirk.
"OF COURSE NOT!" Katsuki shouted.
"I'm not going to turn back everything I worked hard to get here, I'll show them all how Katsuki Bakugo does to get to the top! I'm only getting started with this school and I'll be the one who will defeat you someday, Deku! So, you better be ready because the next time we fight it'll be for the number one spot of the world!" Katsuki declared his rivalry war with Deku.
"I wouldn't have it any other way." Izuku holds up his fist.
"I'm not stopping either, I'll also get stronger to be a hero who smiles proudly like All Might and use these claws to save lives showing everyone that even a savage beast can be a hero!" Izuku determined, bringing out his claws from his other fist and green electric sparks emit as well.
"Then you better fall behind, Deku or else you'll be eating my dirt." Katsuki smirked and fist-bump with Deku.
Katsuki then leaves the school ground as Izuku watches his back knowing that a brighter fire has been lit inside of him, Katsuki Bakugo has started a new starting line and Izuku believes strongly that he is going to beat him to the finish line.
Unknown to him and Katsuki, on the second floor of UA High are Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Mina watching the boys through the window.
"Wow, I wonder what was that all about?" Mina asked.
"A fated battle between rivals!" Ochaco believed.
"It looked like they were renewing their declaration of their rivalry, plus Izuku did look cool when he brought out his claws." Tsuyu confessed.
"The ultimate dual of childhood friends!" Ochaco pressed her forehead on the glass window.
"Hey look, Izuku is coming back inside." Tsuyu pointed at Izuku walking back to the building.
"Oh, guess I'll be walking home with him today." Ochaco said as she walks to the staircase.
"Ribbit. Mind if I join you?" Tsuyu asked, following Ochaco.
"Hey, I want to hang out walking too!" Mina followed the two from behind.
The girls made their way downstairs to find Izuku, but when they saw him they also find Midnight with him as well thinking Izuku is going home with his mom since they go here together, but what they saw next shook them to their core.
Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Mina saw Izuku and his adopted mother Midnight kissing each other on the lips while hugging tightly and Mina thinks she saw a glance of their tongue as the scene causes them to gasp and quickly back away.
"Um?" Izuku separated his lips from Nemuri looking at one hallway.
"Something wrong?" Nemuri asked.
"No, just thought I heard something." Izuku shrugged.
(The Next Day)
"What the fuck?" Izuku cursed as he is being surrounded by news reporters.
"Hey, you!" A newswoman walked up to him with a microphone.
"Can you tell us how does it feel to work with All Might so closely?" She asked.
"Sorry bub, but I have to get class. Later." Izuku walked away.
"Sheesh, what is up with those reporters hogging the entrance?" Izuku sighed.
"That happens when the nation learned of the Number 1 Hero becoming a teacher at UA High, this will cool down in a few days." Nemuri assured.
"I hope so, they're really annoying if you ask me." Izuku said.
"Just ignore them and head up to class." Nemuri said.
Soon, Izuku and everyone in his class arrived and started with Aizawa sharing what he thought about the combat training yesterday.
"You guys had a decent combat training, well done. I saw the video feds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo, Midoriya, you two are talented and strong but don't let the rivalry between you get in the way of what kind of hero you want to be and don't go overboard either. I don't want to read anything blood being spilled, got it?" Aizawa glared at the two.
"Yeah, whatever." Katsuki said.
"I understand, sir." Izuku nodded.
"Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future." Aizawa said.
"(Is it another Quirk test?)" Most of the students thought feared.
"You all need to pick a class representative." Aizawa revealed.
"(Oh, good. Just normal school stuff.)" They thought sighed in relief.
Then mostly everyone raised their hands as each of them wanted to be pick for the job.
"(In a normal classroom, a representative's duties would just be a bunch of extra work. But here in the hero course, there's more to it. It's a way to get noticed by agencies and prove you can lead a team like a real pro. Though to be honest, I'm not into the leading stuff.)" Izuku thought recalled how things work in UA with their class systems and all.
"Silence, everyone. Please!" Iida shouted getting everyone's attention.
"The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader!" Iida suggested though his hand is shaking that he wants everyone to vote for him.
"Is this really the best idea?" Denki asked.
"We've only known each for a few days. How do we know who we can trust?" Tsuyu wondered.
"Besides, everyone will just vote for themselves." Eijiro said.
"Well, if anything I'm going to vote for Tenya and nothing more." Izuku said.
"Really? Don't you want to be class representative?" Ochaco asked.
"Nah, that's too much of a hassle to me and I'm no leader either. I can trust Iida to get things done around here, he's a stick in the mud for the rules." Izuku explained his reason to vote for Iida.
"Why, thank you, Midoriya. I think." Tenya smiled.
"Will that be alright, sir?" Tenya asked Aizawa who is in his yellow sleeping bag.
"Just decide before my nap is over." Aizawa said before going to sleep.
(Few Minutes Later)
Everyone made their decision, and the results came in when Aizawa counted the votes, and the ones who got the most votes are Tenya Iida with three votes and Momo Yaoyorozu with two votes.
"Alright, so we have Iida as Class Representative and Yaoyorozu as deputy." Aizawa announced.
"You know, I think I'm okay with this." Tsuyu said.
"Yeah, Tenya and Momo look like they make a pretty good team." Mezo nodded.
"Hey Midoriya, it looks like you got a single vote." Ochaco pointed at the board.
Izuku is surprised to see he does have a single vote, that couldn't be from him because he already said that he was voting for Iida, then he thought of an idea while looking at Tenya.
(Lunchtime)
Izuku is sitting with Tenya, Ochaco, and Tsuyu at a table and Izuku pop a question.
"Hey Tenya, did you voted for me?" Izuku asked curious.
"I did, I thought you would suit the role good because of how sharp you mind is like when you figured out practical exam." Tenya answered honestly.
"Well, you do look the part. Cause of the glasses." Ochaco said.
"You only voted for him because of the glasses?" Tsuyu asked.
"Wanting a job and being suited for are quite different things. Observing the Iida family's hero agency has taught me that much." Tenya said.
"Agency?" The three friends puzzled.
"Does your family do hero work by any chance?" Izuku asked.
"Huh… maybe." Tenya said nervous.
"You know, I've been wondering something about you." Ochaco said.
"Are you from a rich family?" Tsuyu asked.
"Hey, I was going to ask that!" Ochaco winced.
"I was afraid people would treat me differently if they knew about my family." Tenya exclaimed as his three friends stare at him intensely until he surrendered.
Tenya started explaining that his family have been heroes for generations and his older brother is a Pro Hero known as the Turbo Hero: Ingenium as Izuku has heard about him being an amazing hero and having 65 sidekicks in his Tokyo agency.
Then suddenly, a loud alarm went off warning the students about a Leve 3 alarm which hasn't happen in UA High in three years and the students try to evacuate but everyone was in such a hurry that they crush each other while trying to escape, Izuku and the others are getting crushed from this.
"Who in the world could've trespassed onto campus grounds?" Tenya looked out the window and saw all the press from outside earlier have somehow got through the security gate.
"I was afraid it was some kind of attack on the school, but there's no need to worry, everyone!" Tenya shouted, but no one is listening due to the panicking and saw his other classmates getting push by the current.
Then he saw Ochaco slowly making his way to her, then he got an idea that just might work. He asked her to make him float and slams himself above the exit sign then shout to everyone that everything is fine, that it's only the press outside also reminded them that they are UA students that they need to be calm.
"How in the shit of Hell did the media get pass the security gate?" Izuku wondered.
What Izuku and his class don't know is that media was actually a distraction for the real danger that's coming to them soon.

Katsuki has a new determination of fire after the battle training with Izuku and gonna show everyone in UA High how much he'll push himself to reach his goal, and Tenya has prove himself to have good leadership meaning Class 1-A is in good hands with Momo's help. And it looks like Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Mina are going to be in for a love ride when they saw Izuku and Midnight together.
