The next day Hiccup stood up. He was surprised to find himself in the Forest. Then he remembered what had happened last night.

"Oh Thor, I have to go back to the school!" said Hiccup, he ran toward Hogwarts. He ran straight to Professor Dumbledore's office. He didn't know the password so he called Fawkes. Fawkes opened the door for him.

"Thanks." said Hiccup running down the stairs.

"Professor!" said Hiccup, running over to Dumbledore. "I'm sorry, I said words that I shouldn't have."

Dumbledore didn't answer. Hiccup panting but he needed to say something.

"I want to help. I'm stuck here anyway. I'll do anything you ask." said Hiccup.

"Anything?"

"Yes, anything." said Hiccup, determined. "To protect Harry. I try my best to protect my friend."

"Very well." said Professor Dumbledore, standing up. "You shall be the Eye of the Phoenix."

"The Eye of what?" asked Hiccup.

"The Eye of the Phoenix." said Professor Dumbledore. "You'll be the eye for us. You'll spy on the Death Eaters and report every week."

"What about school?"

"You will protect Harry. Make sure he won't be in danger."

"Okay Professor." said Hiccup, nodding. "But why me?"

"Cause I know you had faced much worse."

Hiccup was looking up maps in the library when Harry came in.

"The feast is about to start soon."

Hiccup looked up. He wasn't hungry but he guessed he should go down anyway.

They went down and Harry asked Hiccup a sudden question.

"Do you have any money to spend in the wizarding world?"

"Of course I don't." said Hiccup, shrugging.

"I want you to have my prize." said Harry, handing Hiccup the money bag.

"No, I can't have it." said Hiccup. "You earned it."

"Then would you take at least half of it?" asked Harry, pleadingly.

Hiccup sighed, he didn't want to take his friend's money but Harry didn't seem to give up.

"Fine." said Hiccup, Harry smiled and handed him the money.

"It's 500 Gallones. Use it well." said Harry, running off.

Hiccup smirked, walking to the Great Hall.

Hiccup watched his fellow students walk to the train station. He wasn't going to be on the train but he walked down to the station.

"Where are you going to spend the holidays, Hiccup?" asked Hermione, before getting on the train.

"I'm going to stay here and help out. Don't worry we'll be able to see each other very soon."

"Well, goodbye mate." said Ron, slapping Hiccup on the back.

"Be safe." said Harry.

"I'll be safe, you three have to be more careful." said Hiccup, laughing.

"Every student on the train!"

"Goodbye!" said the four Gryffindors at once.

[Bye humans!] said Toothless.

Hiccup waved until the train was out of view.

"Now back to work! Come on Toothless!" said Hiccup, mounting on his dragon.

[Let's go!]

Hiccup was busy all summer. He helped out at Hagrids and had the First, Second, and Third year test. He also made new friends, the centaurs and a Kelpie. Shard made it rain so often the lake almost flooded. Then one summer day Dumbledore came up to Hiccup.

"The time is now Hiccup. Here is the map and later this week come to London, Number Twelve, Grimmauld place."

"Yes Professor." said Hiccup, taking the map. "What about Toothless?"

"Travel at night and don't worry, when you are in the protection wall your friend will be invisible."

Hiccup looked at the map. He was on Toothless above the sky of London city.

"Okay, here." said Hiccup, speeding up. "Hey Shard, care to cover us?"

[Leave it to me.]

It started to rain and Hiccup and Toothless was invisible from the ground. They arrived at the destination and Hiccup wrote down everything he saw.

Ron and Hermione were cleaning the house when they heard banging on the roof. All the grownups stood up, wands out. Tonks and Moody walked to the door. The banging stopped, and the door opened. The grownups instantly shot spells and Ron, Hermione, Fred, George and Ginny sneaked up to see what was happening. Then they heard a shout.

"Not this again!" said a sarcastic voice. Hermione and Ron knew for an instant who it was.

"Hiccup!" they both shouted.

"Hermione, Ron!" said Hiccup, happy to hear their voices.

"Who's he?" asked Tonks, pointing her wand at Hiccup.

"You can put your wands down." said Hiccup getting off of Toothless. "I'm here on Professor Dumbledore's order."

"You're the Eye, aren't you?" asked Moody.

"Yeah, I'm the 'Eye'." said Hiccup, rolling his eyes.

"Okay members, meeting time!" said a plump woman, she looked like Ginny.

"Why are you wet?" asked Hermione as Hiccup shook water off his hair.

"It's raining." said Hiccup, drying his hair.

"Come here, darling." said the woman, giving Hiccup a blanket. "I'm Molly Weasley."

"Thank you, ." said Hiccup, drying himself. He walked to the meeting room with the rest of the Order.

"Wait!" shouted Ron. "How come Hiccup attend the meeting while we can't?"

"Dumbledore allowed him." snapped Mrs. Weasley.

All the children's jaws dropped. Hiccup smiled sheepishly and went inside the kitchen.

Hiccup told them about the Death Eaters movements during the whole week. The grownups listened and thanked him. Hiccup also told them about Voldemort's likely base. When the meeting ended Hiccup sat on the chair. He quickly ate before his friends showed up.

"I think I'll be leaving now…" said Hiccup standing up.

"Oh no, you need to rest dear." said Mrs. Weasley.

"I'm okay…" said Hiccup, walking out. "I'm a little tired that's all."

For about thirty minutes Hiccup and the rest of the Order fought whether he should leave or not. Hiccup finally settled down and went to sleep. The other kids were told not to bother him but it didn't matter since Hiccup was asleep the whole time. He slept for two days straight.

"I don't think it was wise for Dumbledore to make a underage child the Eye." said Mrs. Weasley, after checking on Hiccup.

"That kid is a wonder…" said Lupin.

"Dumbledore has his reasons." said Moody.

Three days after he arrived Hiccup woke up, he packed and soared off.

When Hiccup arrived the next week Lupin told him about a mission to get Harry.

"Why?" asked Hiccup after hearing about the news.

"Harry used magic." said Sirius, simply.

"Oh." said Hiccup, understanding everything. "When are we leaving?"

"Three minutes later." said Moody.

[I'm so tired, Hiccup.] moaned Toothless.

"Oh, Toothless." said Hiccup, scratching Toothless under the chin. "I promise extra Cod if we head up now."

Most of the Order mounted up on their brooms. Lupin led the group while Hiccup flew away from it. He was supposed to help when attacked. Hiccup and Toothless were both tired but they went on anyway. When they arrived Hiccup was the first to go down.

[We arrived!] shouted Toothless, landing on the ground.

"Yes, Toothless we arrived." said Hiccup, smiling.

They entered and Hiccup was amazed by what he saw. So neat and so many tools that he didn't know. He picked up a glass plate. He was about to throw it out the window, when Harry appeared, he looked surprised. Hiccup knew how that felt. He looked around what seemed to be a kitchen. Moody and Lupin were talking to him. Harry didn't notice Hiccup yet. Tonks followed him to his room to help pack his things. Then when they came back Hiccup went outside and mounted. The rest of the Order followed.

"Hiccup? What are you doing here?" asked Harry, after spotting him.

"Not now." said Moody.

Hiccup was amazed by Harry's broom flying. He was very skilled, he was curious if he or Harry would win if they raced.

Harry watched as Hiccup flew upside down. It was a cold night so Harry wished he had put on a coat when he was leaving.

When they arrived Hiccup waited for everyone to get inside. He closed the door behind him and went inside. To make matters worse he had to report to the Order. Harry was sent upstairs and Hiccup dragged his tired body to the kitchen.

"The Death Eaters are slowly moving toward the major cities. They might gain more followers. We also went near Azkaban. The Dementers are acting strange. It may be possible that…" reported Hiccup.

When the meeting ended Hiccup prepared to leave again. He was about to set out when Harry, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, and Ron came into the kitchen. Hiccup stopped packing and turned around.

"Now answers." said Ron, facing Hiccup.

"After supper." snapped Mrs. Weasley, setting the food on the table.

Hiccup sat on his chair and marked the locations of the Death Eaters. He sighed, he had to leave soon before the tracks disappeared. Toothless was sleeping in the corner. Shard was outside making it rain harder. The rest of his friends were at Hogwarts.
