"Hold onto me" Izuku spoke with firmness as the grasp of the tiny girl clinging onto him. Disaster approaching them. There was no need to think anymore. With Full Cowling flowing strongly within him, his urgency and confidence gave him the courage to protect this girl from a mad dog of a gang leader.
Eri, the young girl, a poor tortured girl she is. While she could understand the rage coming from the man who betrayed her need for safety and family, she didn't understand the wrath of a boy not much older than her when he charged at the man who destroyed her sense of family.
"Neko Dance" Izuku danced with speed and grace even with the young girl in his arms, close to his chest. Eri closed her eyes as the motion and direction Izuku was doing, made her hair hit her face.
"You don't understand her purpose!" The behemoth swung an arm at Izuku, who dodged quickly. Another came, Izuku jumped to the side of the building and propelled himself towards the man himself.
Izuku glared and responded with a kick to the man's face that you could hear and audible 'crack'. Landing safely and quickly going back to the assault. He leaps into the air, challenging his powers and forcing his body to overcome his limits. Already hitting 17%, Izuku gives a second kick to the Yakuza, further angering him. Within a few seconds, the teen had delivered some more crushing blows before landing back down.
None of his attacks didn't faze the gangster but he did have one more alternative. Turning tail and running through the city, Izuku felt him being chased. Eri was crying out of fear, much to Izuku's distress but he couldn't stop and comfort her when a materialized monster was readying to kill him and re-capture her.
With the rumbling of the ground. The criminal slammed his giant arm on the ground causing his quirk to manipulate the street. Spikes of concrete and asphalt protruded instantly, Izuku leaped up in the air but he wasn't unharmed.
"Argh!" His legs were stabbed through from the feet to his thighs. Blood came out of holes in his flesh. Still airborne, he shot out his arm and aimed his fingers, holding a flick.
"D-Delaware Smash!" He shot out a small gust of power, aiming to land on the rooftops.
"No, you don't!" A massive arm swung in the air again. Izuku couldn't block it. At this rate, he would be sledgehammered into the ground. Swinging his body around, he kicked hard, switching to his Shoot Style. Sending his enemies' arm flying back only momentarily, Izuku landed on his back on the rooftop.
The back of his head knocking back as his whole body landed hard on an air conditioning system. The blades of the fan cutting into his backside before bending and braking instantly from the crash.
"Ugh!" Izuku coughed out the air. Causing him to lose focus on Full Cowling.
Retiring slightly. The little girl's cries made him focus again but the adrenaline was wearing off. Getting off the broken AC and stumbling down to the ground.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt at all?" He asks with heavy breaths. She looked at him with tears in her eyes. Almost making his heart clenching at the fear of her pretty little eyes.
"No..."
"That's good..."
Izuku smiled down at the little girl but failed to notice the large shadow looming over them. Looking up in alert, he quickly tosses the girl away from the incoming slam.
"Argh!" Izuku screams as his legs splattered and crushed from the initial slam. Holding his face as water streaks of pain came from his eyes. His cries of agony sound for many meters across the sky.
"It's over!" Another gigantic fist was coming down on him, Izuku readied a Detroit Smash. No longer carrying of the repercussions that can happen to his arms.
"Detroit Smash!" Izuku sends a mighty gust of wind sending not only the arm away but the monster off of the building.
In his panicked state, he climbed out of the wreckage and crawled over to where the little girl was. Standing before him, holding back her tears. Izuku smiled reassuringly but stopped before the pain was driving into his mind.
"Your...hurt."
"It's nothing. We need to get you out of here." Izuku quickly says as he offers the little girl his broken hand. She tightly squeezes it with her little palms and fingers. Using his other arm to crawl. Izuku made his way to, and to his luck, a staircase leading inside the building.
With one arm doing all the work of hugging the rails and helping him travel down. Izuku was putting in a lot of effort just to not collapse. His legs were crippled and his arm broken.
"Hero-San? Are you okay?"
"I am fine Eri...let's get you out of here."
Izuku was only on the third level of a five-story building when he heard slow-paced footsteps coming down the stairs.
Izuku felt his whole body shiver as each step was purposeful and patient.
"It's not kind to take another man's daughter hero-san." His voice was freezing. It took the soul out of Eri and shook the alertness of Izuku into action.
"Eri, listen to me...when he comes, you need to run. Run as fast as you can. Don't stop...until you find some local heroes or policemen." Izuku whispers as he climbs down the stairs faster, as best he can, with the little girl clinging to his side.
They reached the first level. The door was right there. Izuku felt hope for the first time today only to have it be crushed...
The door leading to the outside was blocked by a coated material of nearby metal.
"You are stupid hero-san. But it shouldn't come as a surprise when you picked a fight with a gangster." The voice was behind them, Izuku was about to retaliate but he felt his face getting kicked in and a heavy stomp on his throat.
The man crouched down and made sure to give the teen heavy eye contact.
"You pissed me off. I didn't think they would let kids go off and play superhero so soon, but I admit, I was wrong to assume so. Now then..."
As Izuku was on his stomach, he felt his broken leg being grabbed. Something happened. It made him cringe, ache, and suddenly scream at the pain. One moment it was like a bunch of knives trying to break free from his skin until there were a burst and a loud splatter. Blood crashed against to wall.
"I was going to kill you painlessly like your deal-o- senpai but you royally pissed me off. And you!" The man turned his attention to the small girl. She was petrified. The golden eyes staring into her quivering red pupils. A hand immediately grabbed her by the hair and yanked her forward, she cries and pleas for him to let her go.
"Stop..." Izuku mouths between the heavy pants. His eyes were watery and heavy.
"Look Eri, this pathetic hero is trying to save you. But he can't even save himself. What do you think happens when the weak can protect themselves? They suffer from the strong."
Izuku felt a hand land on his face and another on his broken and pierced leg. The process was repeated, the only difference that Izuku was knocked out by the pain.
"Oh sweetie, you see this? I am talking to you Eri. Do you see him? Our little hero here has passed out. But that's okay. I will make sure he is awake. You want him awake yes?" Eri nods instinctively out of fear.
The man gave a cruel smile.
"Very well." His feet stomped hard on the teen's back causing Izuku to jolt awake in pain. Before Izuku could scream, the foot took its place again on the side of his throat.
"So good of you to join us hero-san. Now then, where we?"
Izuku felt his destroyed arm being caressed but took the opportunity to swing his broken limb with one hundred percent of One for All. The hit sent the man flying up the staircase with blood coming from his body.
The blast of wind and power obliterated the walls that caged them in and the sealed door from before. Eri was sent to the floor screaming from the initial shock of it all.
His broken arm had bones sticking out in different places and looked too damaged to be an arm. However, the pain, Izuku's sole purpose reinvigorated his worn shell of a body.
"Eri...we need to leave...c-come." Izuku didn't bother with the knowledge of his removed legs. Crawling was a bit easier now, he had less weight tying him down. Eri didn't say anything but Izuku reaches out and touches her disheveled hair. The sweat of fear stayed on her forehead.
"I'm sorry." She whimpered into his functional hand. "I'm sorry..."
Izuku gave a sad expression. "You have nothing to..." Izuku felt his eyes blurring out. He saw the panic on her face.
"No... Don't..."
Izuku's hand fell on the ground. Eri went to his side. Placing his head on her small lap. Trying to wake him up...
"Get up. Please...don't leave me." Eri felt anxiety and sadness engulfing her mind. Her tears hitting his face. Those lifeless eyes...
"Don't go...I don't want to be alone..." She knelt to see the blood and sweat smeared face of her hero. The man who tried to take her away from the evil man. Faint breathing but it was becoming weaker every second she didn't know what to do but only try to use her powers.
Fear. Uncertainty. Those emotions loomed over her thoughts about her quirk. How her mother left her after the incident of her father. She didn't want to make the hero that showed her so much kindness disappear like the father she once had.
But seeing how he gave everything to save her...Eri knew that she would save him. So they can save each other...
Placing her hands on his face. She got a good look before she closed her eyes. Unsure of how to use her powers properly. She was merely a child but so was he. If he could use his powers with confidence then so can she...at least she hoped.
The glow from her single horn gave birth light that envelope her hero. She didn't know what she was doing but she wanted to take it slow. But as soon as she saw the bone and muscles reappearing, she was slowly speeding up the process.
Izuku's unconsciousness left him unable to witness the miracle that was Eri's powers. His broken arm now fixed back into place as if no harm had come to it. Same for his legs that were now bare with no sign it being burst or even pierced.
Soon his body was fixed and normal. Eri was ecstatic and quickly turned off her powers.
"Hero-San." She cries in joy as everything seems all was well.
But no response...
"Hero-San? Hero-San? Get up! Please!" She started shaking him. His unresponsiveness was making her stressed all over again. She tried to flip him on his back but she was too weak.
"Why? Why aren't you waking up?!" Eri cries as she didn't want to know the answer until a hand was on her head.
"He is long gone Eri." The evil man spoke in her ear as she saw a finger pointed at the hero's eyes. They remained lifeless.
"No..."
Eri was in a daze as she was carried by a battered man. Her efforts were in vain, but she still called out to him.
"Hero-San! Hero-san! Wake up!"
As she was dragged out by the building, she gave one last cry.
"Deku!" Remembering the hero name the teen's partner addressed him by...
She felt a hand cover her mouth. Muffling, she couldn't get free but the glare of the evil man forced her to stop.
"Quiet." His tone killed her sounds. Eri felt hopeless, she gave up.
Being carried on his shoulder, she shut her eyes not trying to picture what he will do with her. But a soft sound of crackling happens to get her to pause.
Opening her eyes, she couldn't believe it. Deku was there. But not there...
She saw the bare teeth of a monster. His eyes were wide with intensity. Eri felt something akin to what she felt from the evil man holding her.
Bloodlust. The hatred that was born out of love. Eri understood, even if she couldn't put it into words, that the teenager that leaped at the gangster to save her, genuinely cared for her well-being. A kindness that she didn't know she deserved...
The cut was clean. Sliced down by his nails, he took out the man's eye within a flash. Eri was carried and rescued within a single move. Izuku lands softly on his legs and arm with his other carrying the young girl.
Screaming from the pain and rage, the man held his bleeding eye.
Izuku glared at the gangster with pure malice. His low growl vibrating in his throat. He looks at Eri before calming down. His fierce growl turned into a smile. A faint one.
"Thank you, Eri. You saved my life." He says as he takes off the top part of his jumpsuit, revealing a dark long sleeve underneath.
"But I need your help once more."
"Huh?"
Eri was taken by surprise as Izuku wrapped his torn upper half-shirt and wrapped her around it. Then tie the ends around him, bounding Eri safely on his back.
There was a silent pause. The man stopped screaming once he found out who had ambushed him and took his belonging.
"You..."
It felt like the last straw. There was nothing left to say. As the hero prepares himself, the gangster reformed his giant out of the nearby material and matter.
Everything was falling into place. The madness truly awoke. Matter all around them fused into the same monster again only this time more deform.
"Eri. I need you to use your powers. Full force, no matter what okay!" Izuku orders.
"But..."
"I will be okay. Just give me everything you have. Together we will stop this villain!" Izuku says charging his quirk.
"O-Okay!" Eri complies as her powers activate in all of its force. A bright wave of energy fell on Izuku. But Izuku had a theory, a reckless theory.
'Okay, let's try this 100% Full Cowl: Neko Dance!'
Getting on all fours, with the girl tightly wrapped to his back. It was like a feline on the prowl. Ready to hunt down its prey...
A cat versus a crocodile.
Both leaped at each other, the feline being the more powerful and extremely fast. No longer restricted to the limitations of its body. The reptile saw a green-blueish blur of electricity before being sent flying by a strong kick. Taking to the skies, followed by shockwaves of the cat bouncing on air as if was solid ground. The scales made of concrete were being pealed off by just the sheer force of that kick.
The feline was not going down. Gliding through the air with the young one on his back, he kicked again with tremendous force, no longer concerned for the damage of his body as his very being was rewinding constantly.
The killer croc couldn't predict the change in battle, for the majority he held the higher ground by demolishing the teen in front of his project's eyes.
The teen made a claw as five winds sliced the air and severed most of the behemoth's limbs. The thug using every bit of his energy to hold himself together and continue fighting. But the teen was overpowering him at every moment.
Izuku was not wasting time. He couldn't, every attack was no longer smashes, only gashes and slashes. The power of his bestowed quirk granting him abilities that far exceeded his capabilities.
He was going to cut him down, just as he did to him. There was no more hesitation. But he needed to hurry for the sound of sirens was getting his attention. Looking down quickly, he saw law enforcers and rescue operatives getting the populace away from the fight.
With newfound worry, he grabbed his phone and dialed the recent contact on his phone. Mandalay.
After a few rings, the line answered. "Mandalay?!"
"Midoriya?! What's the situation?!"
"I rescued a girl, Eri. Currently fighting a villain. Mirio-Senpai is injured!"
"Hang on, I am on the way."
Before Izuku could warn her about the guy's quirk. A concrete hand, the size of a truck, came at him. Kicking air to dodge the attack. Izuku pocketed his phone before continuing his battle with the criminal...
With Shino...
She and Eraserhead were in a police vehicle, speeding down the road towards the attack. The police officer driving them was shaken from what he heard on communication regarding the villain attack.
"Every time with this kid." Eraserhead groans, rethinking of all the instances where Izuku recklessly pitted himself in danger to save people or stopping villains.
"I take it you don't get used to this?" Mandalay asks as she sees through the window. A gigantic thing was being thrashed around in the sky. This fight was on the way to be comparable to the Kamino Incident with All Might versus the Bastard that took her teammate's quirk.
"Not one bit. It's irritating." The hero narrows his eyes.
Upon arriving at the scene. Many police officers were holding back the public as the news media was broadcasting the entire showdown.
Mandalay and Eraserhead passed the police officers and assessed the situation. There were plenty of people still trying to escape the chaos.
'Everyone! Come to the main road if you can. Shout if you are in trouble the heroes are on their way.' Shino telepathically informs in her widespread radius. It got a lot of escapee's attention to head in her direction.
She and Eraserhead were the first heroes on the scene. The chaos was hectic. Aside from the loud battle in the skies, people crying and screaming.
It was hurting her ears, to be honest. Looking over to her fellow hero. He was scanning the environment for any other people that may have been trapped or trying to escape.
"Mandalay! We need to get closer! Use your telepathy as we go." He orders. The heroine nods then follow suit after him.
'Anyone still around, this area is not safe anymore. Please escape!'
After a few more telepathic messages, more and more civilians came into view and attempted. All of which scared and confused.
The battle in the skies was something that worried her. She could tell who is winning, but she couldn't explain how. From what she had seen, Izuku's quirk has never been this powerful. Not this extreme.
Pouncing the air like he was a feline. So that was his Neko Dance. Shino saw glimpses of it during her time assisting the class in training activities but never a fully-fleshed out technique.
From experience alone, she could tell the fight was nearing its conclusion. Izuku ending villain with a loud shout.
"Detroit Slash!"
Five claw marks cut through the behemoth, a following howl of pain came and went.
The impact was minor but warranted. In front of her was the unconscious villain, a gash going down his eye and five claw marks spreading from his abdomen to his chest. He was breathing, heavily injured but alive.
Coming out of the dust and debris. Her intern. The teen who was assigned to look after Kota. The slightly redden skin and the bright glow of his energy. She saw him smile tirelessly at her. Before morphing his expression of relief to instant agony. He couldn't hold back the scream as his body was tearing itself apart and repairing itself.
Shino dashes towards him. Yelling his hero name. She thought there was a new development in his quirk that acted like this. Not the little girl on his back that she didn't see until the last moment.
She grasps his shoulders, then everything went into shock, like something stripping away at her but layer by layer. She screamed with the teen. Izuku noticing this tried to muster all his strength to push her off but was in too much pain.
That moment felt like forever. It wasn't until the pain suddenly stopped. Both of them collapsed in front of each other. The little girl fell forward before Izuku, his last bit of strength caught her. Shino fell towards Izuku making him fall back with the little one in between them.
Silence and darkness awaited them...
There was a small light. The cat looked around, still young and unsure. He made his way towards the light. Touching it with his paw, the light turned into a small white kitten, contrasting his black fur. Pure and innocent.
Leaning over and hitting into the back of her fur. The kitten was carried by him. Together they made a way through the shadows. Her light illuminated the small path in front of them.
The sounds of a pained shout were around them and getting closer. The black cat didn't falter but couldn't shake off the uneasiness.
Soon they found the source. A large reptile that came from the sewers below. Before the feline escape, his back legs were chomped down no longer existing and being consumed by the croc.
With all his might, the feline gave a roar sending the croc away but at the expense of his life. The kitten fell. Rolling away, her white fur coat getting stained with his blood. She whimpered at him. The black cat couldn't stay awake, but he was aware of what was happening to him. The kitten crawled towards him, giving him a few licks on his tired head, a bright light engulfed him, repairing his legs and his might. But once the cat awakens, he saw that the little one was taken. With fury unchained, he pursued them and pounced on the croc, taking out its eye...
Izuku awoke from his dream. Recollections of what had transpired that day. Looking around, he was in the hospital, a familiar place that he hadn't visited in the last few months. It was sunset outside.
Blinking, allowing his eyes to adjust. He looked around the phone on the nightstand next to his bed. Reaching out, he grasps his phone. It was cracked in multiple places. It was better than a completely broken device. Turning it on, he found many messages and missed phone calls followed by plenty of voice mail. Ranging from his mother to his classmates and All Might. The last one got his attention, it was from Mandalay. Opening the phone, he saw the text message from Kota. Remembering briefly that Kota had an emergency phone on him since the Bakugo-incident.
Are you okay?! I saw you and Auntie on the news. ~11:23 am
Hey! Answer me, they are not telling me about Auntie and you. What's happening?!~12:15 pm
Izuku sighs, that was hours ago.
After sending a text to him. Izuku laid back down, exhausted from the day's events.
"Midoriya-San?"
A voice brought him away from his silence to a nurse who called for his attention.
"Your awake, I will notify the doctor right away." Nodding at her, the nurse left him and came back with the lab coat medical official in the room within twenty minutes.
"Are there any injuries?" Izuku asks concern that he made his situation already worse.
"Quite the contrary young man. We have your records from your last visit to the hospital. I saw the notes on your previous stay. We ran through examination with you, at the time when you were picked up, there were no physical damages of any kind but you weren't responding to us, assuming that you had dealt with mental trauma."
Izuku listens and remembers Eri, the little girl he saved...no who saved him from death.
"The little girl, she was unconscious as well along with the pro-hero."
His eyes widen once he remembers the last bit with Shino. "Is she okay?!" Izuku sat upright instantly, startling the nurse.
"Easy young man. The woman and child are fine. Heroes have looked after the young girl. As for the hero, she is still in the same ward as you."
"C-Can I see her...?" Izuku asks, his eyes pleading.
"Her visitation hours are nearing an end. If you want we can take you."
Nodding, Izuku stood up from the bed with the nurse still making sure he took it slowly. At this point, he was no longer in his hero suit. Just a hospital shirt and pants. Comfortably fitted onto him.
The doctor and nurse-led him to the heroine's room, she was down the hall. Izuku was led inside. He saw her, laying on her bed.
"She is still asleep. Unlike you who had no physical changes or damages, she was affected by the young girl's quirk." The doctor spoke giving insight to the situation, birthing dread in Izuku.
Approaching her bedside, Izuku looked at her. From a distance, she didn't look that different. Her reddish-dark brown hair still the same haircut, maybe a bit longer. But up close, she was different. She was smaller, almost his size, her features were less mature, and she seemed to have lost mass along the way.
Reaching out to touch her hand, it was thin, what happened? Izuku only remembered how Eri reverses the damage. It didn't make sense. That's how he managed to go a hundred percent.
He did this to her. This was his fault. He caused pain to something he was attracted to. Hurt someone's family. How would Kota respond to this? Or the Pussycats?
Tears filled his eyes. His failures hanged low like his head over her hand. His tears fell on her hand.
Wallowing in his sorrow for a bit, the nurse took him away from the room. Izuku decided to visit Shino when she was awake.
"There was one more," Izuku spoke before the doctor left.
"Lemillion, he was my advisor during my internship. Did he make it in the hospital?" Izuku asks, his eyes still red and watery.
"That's confidential son. I suggest talking to your teachers about that. In the meantime, rest. You will be staying here a few days to have a couple more tests and check-ups done."
Like that Izuku's stay at the hospital was stressful.
For the next couple of days, he was visited by friends, his mother, and teachers.
"Deku-Kun! Are you alright?" Ochako asks as she was followed by Asui-San and Iida-San.
"I am well...how's Kota?" Izuku asks.
"Speaking off!" Ochako reveals behind her a young boy without his red cap. He races over to Izuku's bedside and jumps up and hugs him.
"Izuku! I saw the news. You and auntie!"
"Shh. I know, I am sorry I worried you. The situation got out of control." Izuku smiles as he pats Kota's hair. Over the time they spent together, the two almost became inseparable.
"Is auntie okay?"
"So far, physically. She hasn't woken up yet. Do you want to see her?" Izuku asks, gut-clenching in dread. Kota nods. Getting up, his classmates told him not to get up but Izuku didn't listen.
"I rested enough. Let's go."
"But Deku."
"Uraraka-San, I am fine."
The teen guided the rest towards Shino's room. No one was in there. The sight was constricting, Izuku held his breath as Kota walked towards his aunt and talks to her in a calm demeanor. He wasn't distressed like earlier. Izuku put a hand on the boys back, even though he was calm, Kota still shed tears, relieved that his aunt was okay.
The following day was visited by his mother.
"Izuku!"
"Mom. Your hugging too tight."
"That was a dangerous young man."
"I know, but I came out fine."
The exchange between mother and son didn't focus on the events of the previous days but more so on mundane topics that they had been doing on their off time.
The last day, however...
"Izuku Midoriya." A voice got his attention as he looked at the dog-headed man. He was the police chief, from the incident in Hozu with the Hero Killer.
"Sir."
"Glad that you're making a recovery. Hopefully your not busy at the moment, I would like to speak with you."
"No, go ahead."
"I would like to take a statement from you. Considering your the only one to give us a detailed description of the situation."
That made Izuku paused, he was the only one? Shaking his head, he retold the incident. The story lasting less than ten minutes.
"Thank you for your cooperation."
"It's nothing...but I have a question."
"What is it?"
"How come you came? Wouldn't any other police officer take a statement?" Izuku asks.
"Yes, well I wanted to brief you on the man that you helped arrested. He is Kai Chisaki, a Yakuza captain of The Eight Precepts of Death."
"What?"
"Yes, I assume you now understand the seriousness of the situation. These criminals are Trigger Dealers."
At that point, Izuku's eyes widen out of shock and fear. The dog-headed man narrows his eyes.
"We have him in our custody, currently planning to transfer him to Tartarus. You can rest easy Midoriya-San."
"Okay...sure. But...what he did that day...I wondered something."
"What is it?"
"My Senpai, Mirio. He was with me that day, I was wondering what happen to him?" Izuku asks this time his head down. So much happening within an hour of that day. He could comprehend most of it but in some parts, he was left in the dark.
A sigh left the officer's mouth. "That is another thing, here."
Being handed a letter, Izuku looked up at the suited dog-headed man.
"I came on behalf of the hero association to give you an invitation. I presume you already know what it's for?"
Izuku swallowed hard, his eyes started to water and head hang low. Holding the letting in his hands. He didn't want to stomach it.
The day was sunny, a strong contrast to the crowd in black. In a freshly rented black suit, Izuku stared at the stone in front of him. Waiting for his turn to pay respects to his Senpai.
This was the first funeral Izuku attended, he saw Sir Nighteye, the man was in front already praying for Mirio's peace in the next life. Izuku would do the same, his Senpai, deserved better.
That day he met the parents of Mirio, saw the other members of the "Big Three", and had a conversation with Sir Nighteye.
"Sir Nighteye, I want to say I'm sorry. About Mirio-Senpai." Izuku apologizes just before the side-kick was about to approach his car, departing from the funeral. Stopping midstep, he turns to look at the hero-in-training.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, this is the price we pay as heroes. Just know that I appreciate your condolences." Sir Nighteye said in a venomous tone, not sparing Izuku from his glare, showing him the purple eye that gave him foresight.
"But All Might made a mistake choosing you." Those words shook him to the core, Izuku couldn't help but feel defeated for the second time in a couple of days.
"If you need assistance from me, your free to come to my agency but that's all you will get."
As the vehicle started and drove off, Izuku wondered about his situation. Sir Nighteye wasn't the first person to display coldness to him, Mirio's parents were the same. But they were understanding very quickly.
Sighing, Izuku went back to the hospital. He was discharged today but he still had a couple of hours before visitation hours for Shino.
It was like that. For the next week. Izuku going to class, he and Kota would go to the hospital to check on Shino until it was due time to come back to the dorms.
"Auntie..." Izuku turns his head up to the bunks. His bedroom dim with the desk lamp. He heard the whispers of the young child. Izuku got up from his chair and turned off the lamp and quietly walked towards the lower bunk, the bunk that Kota was currently sleeping in. For the past week, Izuku didn't rest much; he was bothered, worried, and scared of what's happening with the Pussycats' leader.
Opening the covers, Izuku went into the bed laying next to the young boy. Holding the child close, Izuku heard the child calm down and finally sleep soundly. Pulling the sheets over them, Izuku felt his tears came out again. He hadn't cried in a week, to show Kota that everything was going to be alright...
"Everything would be alright," Izuku whispers to himself. Closing his eyes, hoping he would get some rest...
