Lately, I have been feeling unwell. I blame my illness and missed period on stress and mourning my husband. Our son Aziel is leaving for college this morning. I have been able to downplay my symptoms for his sake. "Aziel, you are your father's successor. I support you in pursuing your studies. I can rule the kingdom without your help" I reinforce with a hug. "I thank you for supporting my education. I want to be king, but fate has other plans for me. If it the Gods' will, I shall return home" Aziel assures me. I am taken aback by the word fate.
