Sins of Blairwood-11

~One Last Visitor~

Kuroko sat in her cell within the prison, looking at the only thing she was allowed to keep with her when she was booked and sentenced. It was a photo of her, sitting in a hospital bed, holding her newborn son, with a big smile on her face. That was the happiest day of her life, as she wanted to be a mother, and made a promise to herself, that she'd do everything in her power to keep Senshi, out of his father's hands. For the past couple hours since Senshi came to visit, Kuroko was worried beyond belief for her son, and what might happen, if Beo found out about her imprisonment, and used this opportunity to corrupt their son.

"Liones." One of the guards said, tapping the bars of her cell. "Your lawyer is here. Come on."

Kuroko was a little confused hearing that. When she'd given her lawyer a call, she was told she'd need to find a different lawyer, as hers would not, and could not, defend a mercenary.

'Maybe it's one she suggested to take my case.' Kuroko thought.

When she got to the visitor's center, sitting on the other side of the glass, was someone she'd hoped she wouldn't have to see ever again, not since the Monster Ball, dressed like a normal lawyer, with a briefcase and everything.

"Beo. What are you doing here?" Kuroko asked, sitting at her stool, and picking up her receiver.

"Just came to see how you're holding up." Beo smiled, before he laughed. "To be honest, I had never thought in a million years, your own family, would have turned you in, and it was your own brother, of the irony."

"What do you want?" Kuroko asked.

"Oh relax would you?" Beo asked. "I just came to see you, one last time, before I take the boy for his special training in the Demon Realm."

"You wouldn't." Kuroko gasped.

"I would. It might be today, it could be tomorrow, it could be ten years from now, but Senshi will end up in the demon realm and there's nothing you could do about it." Beo said. "Every day you're in here, every moment you spend rotting in your cell, you won't have a way to know, if your son has been corrupted or if he's still as saintly as he is."

"Don't you dare lay a finger on my son, you hear me Beo?" Kuroko glared.

"Tsk-tsk Kuroko. I'd have thought you learned by now." Beo said. "The Demon King, always gets what he wants. So I hope you enjoyed what little time you spent with Senshi, because the next time you see him, the Demon King, will be ruling over the world, with Senshi, being his new vessel."

"No, Beo no." Kuroko said.

"A little parting gift for you Kuroko." Beo smiled his hand glowing brightly, before a sigil began glowing on Kuroko's forehead. "I've had this little spell stewing within your mind since our last meet at the Monster Ball. It causes the victim to suffer, by experiencing all the mental pain, they've caused other people, in this case, you're going to experience the pain and anguish each of your victims suffered, before they died. Enjoy."

With a snap of his fingers, Beo was gone, and Kuroko was sprawled out on the ground, screaming out in pain, with the sigil burning into her forehead like a branding.

~Yip~

"So how's the hunting going Mikey?" Sam questioned.

"There were deer, rabbits, beavers, and even ducks, and yet I wasn't able to get a single one. While Senshi somehow got three deer, and even some wild boar." Mikey said, pointing to where Senshi was draining the blood from the last of his catches, as the others were already skinned, with the hides turned to leathery blankets of fur from the deer, one of which was on Saphira as she was happily eating one of the boars Senshi hunted down.

"Hey, he's got the Spirit Spear, a Sacred Treasure given to him by the Sacred Tree of the Fairy King's Forest." Sam said. "It's easy to hunt when you've got that."

"Ugh, maybe we should just pack it up and head home." Mikey asked.

"Oh come on. You were getting so into it though." Sam said.

"Or we can just stay here, and risk your dog's life again, since he's the one who's been keeping me from hunting my quarry." Mikey said.

"Good poi…"

BAM… YIP…

"Siris." Sam said in horror as the bullet went through his dog's head.

"Oh no. Not again, first it was the kid now the dog, and we both know which one ain't coming back." Mikey said in horror.

Senshi went running to where the dog was lying with the half eaten apples, and stopped, not knowing what to do.

"Oh God… Siris…" Sam said, thinking about what he was gonna tell Erma and Emiko.

"Dude… I'm so sorry… I don't…"

"MICHAEL! What happened?" Sam questioned.

"I don't know, it just went off…" Mikey said.

"Bark-bark-bark. Bark-bark-bark-bark. Bark-bark-bark…"

"Senshi, is this your doing?" Sam asked. Senshi just shook his head no, as he and Saphira both looked just as stumped.

BAM

"What are you doing?" Sam questioned his brother as Mikey shot Siris again.

"You saw that right? He pulled a Senshi and got back up with a bullet in his head." Mikey said, pointing to Siris.

"Stop shooting our dog. Do you have any idea what Erma might do if…"

"Hey, the first time was an accident. I was testing it this time." Mikey said.

"Bark-bark-bark…"

"Look at that." Mikey said.

"Give me the gun." Sam said, struggling to pull the gun out of his brother's hands.

BAM-BAM.

This time, both Siris and Senshi fell over, with another bullet lodging itself in the boy's brain.

"Okay, that time was an accident." Mikey said, while Sam just looked at him, like he wanted to kill him.

~Sidetracked~

Mikey and Sam both let out deep nervous breaths as they pulled up to Sam's house. Looking in the back, they saw Senshi sleeping with Saphira curled around him, covered in one of the deer skin pelts he made, while Siris was looking out the window. Getting out, Siris and Saphira jumped out of the van, while Senshi yawned following Sam and Mikey to the door.

"Erma cannot find out, about what just happened. She will freak out if she does." Sam said.

"I don't know about that man, she's gonna have to find out about Siris being undead sooner or later." Mikey said. "I'm pretty sure she'll find out about the bullets lodged in Senshi's head to."

"An' what if asks how we figured that out. Are you seriously gonna tell her you shot them?" Mikey asked.

"Hey man, I might not be the smartest, but I'm not suicidal." Mikey said.

As the two were arguing, Siris caught sight of a cat that was across the street, and went to chase after it, not aware of the car coming from down the road.

"Look, I'll figure out a way to break the news. But for right now, let's not mention a word of this to Emiko, Erma, Regan, or Emily." Sam said.

"Emily's too young to understand this. So even if she finds out she'll be fine." Mikey said.

"There you two are." Emiko said opening the door.

"Hey Honey how was your… Oof." Sam was interrupted from finishing his question as Erma and Emily was running past him, to Siris, Senshi, and Saphira.

They stopped however when Siris brought his paws up to Erma's hands, and the entire mid-section of his torso, was flattened from the car that ran him over, leaving tire tracks, and making Mikey and Sam both go bug eyed and nervous.

"Well… so much for that." Mikey said.

~Slowly but Surely~

Emily and Erma were staying with Siris as he continued to eat from his doggy dish, Emily poking the undead dog with a stick as his flattened torso healed.

"Well, he seems to be healing. It's slow, but it should be fine." Emiko said, before directing her gaze over to Senshi, who was sleeping against Saphira again. "But I'm a little worried about Senshi. He seems to be sleeping a lot today, and he silenced himself because the visit with his mom went bad? It wasn't that bad was it?"

"I'm sure he'll be fine." Regan said. "But what about Siris? Who'd have thought he's an undead dog?"

"I don't know how we didn't notice this sooner. At least we now know why the gypsy woman called them a rare breed, despite being different breeds of dog." Emiko said.

Neither wives noticed how their husbands were glancing nervously at each other. Ever since Senshi woke up from the second shot to the cranium, he's acted and looked tired, and has been sleeping every chance he got.

"Well that's all that matters right, that he's fine? Believe me it could have ended a lot worse." Regan said before turning to her husband. "So, how was the hunt boys?"

"Eh, nothing too exciting." Mikey said.

"HACK."

The adults looked to Erma and Siris before Mikey and Sam got extremely nervous, seeing three rifle bullets had been spit up by Siris, and were now sitting in the palm of Erma's hand.

Regan turned to Mikey, giving him a glare, as Mikey himself was shaking in his seat, with an, oh shit, look on his face as he was sweating bullets.

"Well the cats out of the bag. Might as well tell you about Senshi." Sam sighed.

"What about Senshi?" Emiko asked, looking to him menacingly.

'Please don't rat me out bro. Please don't rat me out. I'm already on thin ice with Regan as of two minutes ago.' Mikey thought.

"Mikey accidentally shot a couple bullets into Senshi's cranium." Sam said. "That's the real reason he's not talking and why he's sleeping. Those bullets are still lodged in his brain."

"He WHAT?" Regan questioned, a literal fire in her eyes.

"I'm dead." Mikey said.

"We both are." Sam exclaimed, feeling his wife's menacing glare intensify on him.

Using her ghostly telekinetic abilities, Emiko brought Senshi over to them, and sat him on her lap, before she used her ghostly abilities, to reach her hand into his brain, which immediately straightened him out, and woke him up, before she pulled her hand out, along with the bullets.

"You are both, in serious trouble." Emiko glared.

~Heading Back~

The sun as starting to set low in the horizon as Mikey, Regan, and Emily were starting to pack up and head out, with everyone saying their goodbyes.

"See you later brother." Mikey said.

"Yeah… let's try fishing next time." Sam exclaimed, giving his brother a hug, both of their heads having large lumps with bandages on them that still hurt.

"Maybe try the salon again next weekend?" Regan suggested giving Emiko a hug goodbye.

"Sure, but just us, next time, kay?" Emiko chuckled.

Seeing all the adults hugging their goodbyes, Erma looked to Emily, before raising her arms for a hug, in which Emily squeezed as hard as she could, before letting go, and giving Erma the picture they'd drawn together, before hopping in the van and driving off with her parents, her mom driving because Regan had given Mikey a concussion.

"Well… Today's been an interesting day." Sam said.

"You two are unbelievable." Emiko said, turning away and walking back towards the house.

"Oh come on. It's not like I'm the one who shot Senshi and Siris."
