A/N: Thanks for the favorites, follows, and reviews. On another note: this is a short chapter, but I wanted to have Summer appear on a podcast. Why not have her appear on Nikki and Brie's podcast since she's besties with the former? :)

Ghosts Of Days Gone By
Bella Twins Podcast
"So, Nikki and I are welcoming a guest who has never been on a podcast before, Summer McMahon. We're so honored to have her on our show," Brie Bella started. "She's such an inspiration and I'm so lucky to have had a chance to work with her. She is definitely someone I would consider a close friend."
"Summer is definitely someone I consider a best friend," Nikki Bella added. "I was so thrilled whenever she said she would appear on the show."
"We didn't really interact with Summer that much during our first run, but she was always so friendly. She was a good confidant to have."
"Absolutely," Nikki agreed. "But then during our second run, we had the pleasure of knowing Summer a lot better. She's such a terrific person."
"You and Summer went out on some double dates, right?" Brie asked her twin sister. "That was how you two became so close."
"Right," Nikki confirmed. "It was 2013. I was with John and she was with Randy at the time. The four of us would go on double dates whenever we were on the road. Even though we're no longer with those guys anymore, Summer and I still remain best friends."
"I had the pleasure of hanging out with Summer. She and I would hang out after some shows and she is just so fun to be around."
"Enough of tooting Summer's horn. Let's get her on here. So without further ado, here is the one and only, Summer McMahon," Nikki introduced.
"Hey," Summer greeted. "I'm ecstatic to be a guest on The Bella Twins podcast."
"Thanks for coming onto the show," Brie responded.
"It's my pleasure."
"So, Summer, you have had quite the life. Especially being the youngest McMahon child. Tell the listeners what it's like being a part of the McMahon family," Nikki initiated.
"Dad and Mom were always busy. I didn't see them as regularly as other kids saw their parents. They made sure they had the best Nanny look after me though."
"Did you ever join your family on the road?" Brie wondered.
"Sometimes. It was so much fun. I loved being around all the superstars."
"Who was your favorite wrestlers growing up?"
"Triple H, Kane, and The Rock."
Nikki laughed. "It's kind of funny how Triple H was one of your favorite wrestlers growing up and now he's your brother-in-law."
"That is definitely ironic."
"Did you have a crush on any of the wrestlers?" Nikki asked.
"I had a huge crush on Edge and Jeff Hardy."
"You ended up having a relationship with Edge."
"I did," Summer confirmed. "He was the first wrestler I ever dated."
"How did Vince react whenever he found out you were dating Edge?" Brie inquired.
"He wasn't happy at first, which I expected, but he eventually came around. He saw that Edge actually wanted to be with me for me and not for my last name."
"What was your experience being with him?"
"He definitely played a huge part in helping me become the person I am today. I was only twenty-four whenever we first started dating. I was also super high maintenance. He showed me what being in a real relationship was like and he helped me appreciate the simpler things in life."
"It sounds like he played an important role in your life," Brie replied.
"He did."
"Besides Edge, you have dated other wrestlers," Nikki stated. "Care to share who else you dated?"
"No problem," Summer giggled. "I dated CM Punk and Randy Orton."
"I'm sure dating Punk was fun," Nikki teased. "Especially with the history he has with your family."
"Punk and I were each other's rebounds, but he was what I needed at the time. He helped me get over the heartbreak I felt."
"There were rumors that you and Punk were an item in early 2012, but you were still with Edge at the time. You want to clear up those rumors?"
"Even though it's all in the past, it wouldn't hurt to put those rumors to rest. Punk and I were good friends and we were spending a lot of time together backstage since I was in charge of his WWE championship plans from Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania. He was dating someone else at the time, but they were fighting because she didn't like the idea of us hanging out. Then, Edge and I were always fighting because Punk's girlfriend at the time put thoughts in his head that Punk and I were having a secret affair when that was far from the truth. Edge ended up breaking up with me because he believed the affair rumors. Eventually, our exes got together, so Punk and I bonded even more and eventually became a couple. Ironically, it was the rumors that brought us closer together."
"How does it feel to finally confess all of that?" Nikki wondered.
"It feels great. I just hate they weren't addressed all those years ago whenever the rumors were swirling."
"Summer, you said you dated Randy Orton too. What was your experience with him?" Brie wondered.
"Being with Randy was so much fun. I really enjoyed the time that we were together," Summer responded. "Randy and I are still good friends to this very day."
"It's always good when you can remain friendly with your ex," Nikki stated.
"For sure," Summer agreed.
"Let's talk about your time in the WWE," Brie said, starting a new topic. "What roles have you had?"
"I started as an assistant, then I became a part of the creative, I eventually became head of creative, and then in 2016, I took a leave of absence from the company."
"What caused you to take a leave of absence?"
"I was getting burned out. Dad and I were always clashing. The final straw was when he let Shane come back and immediately return to the position he last had while I had busted my ass and got nothing in return for it."
"That must have been tough to deal with."
"It was. I love Shane, I really do, but it wasn't fair how he left the company and then he comes back and Dad rewards him by giving him his Principal Owner position back."
"Why do you think that was?" Nikki asked.
"I really can't answer that. If I'm being honest: I think Dad was punishing me because I didn't want to be an onscreen character. He has never let me live that down."
"You were supposed to be an onscreen character? Were you set up for any storylines?"
"Yes," Summer replied. "I was originally supposed to be Edge's General Manager girlfriend, which was the role Vickie portrayed. I was supposed to be the anonymous RAW General Manager. They wanted me to have a romance storyline with Punk back in 2011. I was supposed to be on his side during the Summer of Punk. The irony of that storyline name by the way," She laughed. "They wanted me to feud with AJ Lee back in 2013."
"I would've loved to see how your storylines with Edge and Punk would've gone down," Nikki replied.
"Her feud with AJ would've been fun to watch," Brie responded.
"I just never had any desire to be an onscreen character. Why take time away from talent who already have limited television time?"
"Fair enough," Nikki agreed.
"What is Summer McMahon up to these days?" Brie inquired.
"I am the Executive Director of RAW. That's about it."
"Any exciting guys in your life?" Nikki asked.
"Nope. I'm one hundred percent single. I am waiting for the right guy to come along."
"You're a catch, Summer. Someone will come and snatch you up."
"Totally," Brie agreed.
"I appreciate that."
"Do you have any final words for the listeners?" Nikki asked.
"Thanks for listening. Watch RAW on Mondays, NXT on Wednesdays, and Smackdown on Fridays. Also, whenever Total Bellas is on; watch it. Nikki and Brie are amazing!"
"Thanks for coming onto the show, Summer. I think the viewers are going to be happy to learn more about you," Brie said.
"It was my pleasure!"
""I'm glad you got to appear on the show. It was an honor to have you as a guest," Nikki said.
"Thanks. It was fun."
A/N: Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoy this chapter.
