Chapter 10 Pharaoh's Fate / Tea's broken heart pt1

The sun rise at Death Valley Raphael, Pharaoh, Yugi and Trunks are shock that not only Angie is a Shadow Signer so is Tea, Yugi is feeling guilty about making Tea jealous and now he can't do anything about it til Pharaoh looks at him feeling down as well.

"Yugi, are you ok?" said Pharaoh talking to Yugi in mind links

"No, I'm not ok. Now we know who are the Shadow Signers, I still can't believe that Tea is one of them. It's my fault, I shouldn't making her jealous." said Yugi

"Don't worry we will save her, no matter what." said Pharaoh

"No Pharaoh, you will save her. Not me." said Yugi

"But Yugi, she our friend." said Pharaoh

"I know, but I want you to be with her even if my soul is taken." said Yugi as Pharaoh is shock a little bit

"Very will, I'll be with her." said Pharaoh as Yugi went back into the puzzle

Raphael and Trunks look at Pharaoh as he's activated his duel disk to duel him, Trunks is watching them sense he saw the scroll about the duel between them.

"Get ready Pharaoh." said Raphael as he activated his duel disk as well

Back at the trailer everyone is going to be with Yugi and Trunks, but Tea and Selene decided to stay with Rebecca and Professor Hawkins. Duke, Joey and Tristan got into the car and drove to Death Valley, not knowing that the duel has already started.

"I hope Yugi and Trunks are doing ok." said Tea

"Don't worry, as long as Trunks is with Yugi he'll be safe." said Selene

Rebecca came outside talking to Selene about the world, Tea decided to go inside to be alone in the dark room feeling guilty about not telling everyone that she's a Shadow Signer. Slowly her heart is broken continue til the final piece is broke.

Back at Death Valley as Pharaoh and Raphael is about to duel, Raphael throw two axe at the rope that's connect to the bridge so no can't leave or enter, expect Trunks can fly.

"Let's Duel." both said

Turn 1 Raphael

"I'll go first, I draw. I activated a continuous magic card Guardian Treasure. I discard five cards from my hand and I can draw two cards from my deck. Next I set a monster and set a card, I end my turn." said Raphael

Turn 2 Pharaoh

"It's my turn, I draw. I activated the magic card Polymerization to fuse Gazelle the King of Mythical Beast and Berfomet, to fusion summon Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast." said Pharaoh as his fusion monster appear on the field

Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast (2100-1800)

"A fusion monster?" confused Trunks

"Yes, fusion monster are one of the extra deck in duel monster. It's required a magic card called Polymerization, like the one you saw today. sometime it has side effects." said Pharaoh

Trunks look at Pharaoh's fusion monster for the first time and he begin to understand the rules as well.

"Go Chimera attack his face-down monster." said Pharaoh

His Chimera attack but the face-down that Raphael had flipped up and it turns out to be Backup Gardna with (500-2200) and after the attack Pharaoh's life points is down from 4000 to 3900.

"Well looks like your attack has failed, Pharaoh." said Raphael

"Then I'll end my turn." said Pharaoh

He look at Trunks and he slowly begin to understand that the scroll he had that history doesn't lied, he wanted to make sure history stays correct. Pharaoh wanted to be with his friends but now he knows that Tea have feelings for him, he decided to become evil like Tea, that way her heart will not be broken.

Turn 3 Raphael

"My turn, I draw. Thanks to my Guardian Treasure, I can draw a new card as well. First I activated an equip magic card Gravity Axe - Grarl to equip my Backup Gardna." said Raphael as his Gardna increase it's attack points from 500 to 1000

"But theirs more where that came from, sense my equip magic card is on the field and have Guardian Grarl from my hand I can special him to the field." said Raphael as he special summon his monster to the field

Guardian Grarl (2500-1000)

"Not good." said Trunks

"Don't worry it'll be over soon, I activated Backup Gardna's ability to unequip him and then equipped to Guardian Grarl." said Raphael as his Gardna decrease from 1000 to 500 while Grarl increase from 2500 to 3000

"Oh No." scared Pharaoh

"Go Grarl attack his Chimera." said Raphael as his monster destroyed Chimera bring down Pharaoh's life points from 3900 to 3000

"Not so fast, when Chimera is destroyed it's special ability activated to bring Berfomet in attack mode." said Pharaoh as his beast appear on the field

"Then I'll end my turn." said Raphael

"Raphael, can you tell us why did you join them? on Dartz side?" confused Trunks

"Gladly, I was a orphan a long ago when my family was killed during the ship sinking into the bottom of the ocean, Dartz let's me stay with him as my father figure. Now all I need is to defeat Pharaoh so the Great Beast will awaken." said Raphael

Trunks and Pharaoh are shock a little bit, he remained Angie when she was an orphan a long ago as well. Now Angie is evil just like Selene wanted. Pharaoh look at Trunks feeling guilty that his foster sister becoming evil like Nick and Tea.

"Trunks, are you alright?" said Pharaoh

"No, It reminds me when my time line was in ruins." said Trunks as he look down

"Your time line?" confused Raphael

"Yeah when evil android started killing people leaving only me and my mentor Gohan, but he was killed as well." said Trunks as the two duelist are shocked

"And then, what happen next?" said Pharaoh

"My old mom build a time machine so I can go back in time to prevent from happening, and I save them from being killed. So after I killed those androids Miss Time came to me and hire me as a Time Patroller." said Trunks

Raphael and Pharaoh are surprise about Trunks's story and they look at each other thinking about this time line as well

"Does the scroll tell us about the history?" said Raphael

"It does, let me show it to both of you before you can continue this duel." said Trunks as he walk towards them and show them the scroll as he open it they are shocked about what happen after the duel, including Pharaoh play the evil card.

"Tell me, am I evil?" said Pharaoh

"What makes you say that?" said Trunks

"Because I feel regret that I didn't protect Tea from becoming evil. Now that she's a Shadow Signer, I don't know if I can save her." said Pharaoh as he look down

"Just like Battle City when Marik's good-half controlling her." said Raphael as Pharaoh look at him shocked

"How did you-?" confused/nervous Pharaoh

"I know that you couldn't protect her from Marik's control, but it's too late already." smirk Raphael as Trunks walks away from the duelist

Turn 4 Pharaoh

"It maybe too late, but I won't let history repeat itself, I draw. I activated the magic card Five Star Twilight, I tributed Berfomet to special summon Kuriboh brothers to the field." said Pharaoh as his five monster summon to the field

Kuriboh, Kuribah, Kuribee, Kuribeh, and Kuriboo (300-200)

"That's not all, I activated it ability to remove all kuriboh to special summon Kuribabylon in attack mode." said Pharaoh as his big kuriboh appear on the field

Kuribabylon (1500-200)

"That furball is weak." said Raphael

"He maybe weak, but with my magic card Pump Up to increase my kuribabylon by double." said Pharaoh

Kuribabylon (3000-200)

"Go Kuribabylon attack his Grarl." said Pharaoh as his monster start attack but it stopped

"What happen? why did it stopped?" confused Trunks

"I'll tell you, I activated the magic card from my graveyard called Rescuer from the Grave, it allow me to removed five cards from the graveyard to cancel it's attack and end Pharaoh's battle phase." said Raphael

"In that case I used Kuribabylon ability to bring back all the Kuriboh brothers to the field." said Pharaoh as his kuribabylon is removed and all the five kuriboh bothers back on the field

"I end my turn." said Pharaoh

"Pharaoh, are you still think that your evil?" confused Trunks

"If the scroll said it's true, then I will be." said Pharaoh

Turn 5 Raphael

"My turn I draw, thanks to the magic card I can draw a new one, Next I set two cards and I activated my set card Purity of the Cemetery." said Raphael

"What's that card do?" confused Trunks

"It's simple, Pharaoh will take 100 points of damage for each monster in his graveyard during his standby phase, but if I have a monster in my graveyard this card will destroyed it. Sense I don't have a monster in my graveyard, this card will remain on the field." said Raphael as Pharaoh getting a bit nervous

"Now Grarl attack that Kuriboh." said Raphael as his monster start attacking it but not for long

"Not for long, I activated Kuribee ability to cancel your attack." said Pharaoh as Raphael monster stop attack

"Then I'll end my turn." said Raphael

Turn 6 Pharaoh

"Ok, my draw." said Pharaoh

"Pharaoh, don't forget that magic card that Raphael had." said Trunks as Pharaoh's life points from 3000 to 2700

"I'm aware of that Trunks, But I'll be fine. I activated the magic card Pot of Greed, it's allow me to draw two more cards from my deck. Next I used the Kuriboh brothers to special summon Kuribabylon in attack mode." said Pharaoh as his monster appear in the field

"That furball again. I can defeat that thing easy." said Raphael

"He won't be around for long, I sacrifice him to tributed summon Dark Magician Girl." said Pharaoh as his Dark Magician Girl appear on the field

"That the girl me and Selene just met." said Trunks

"With her on my field I can activated the Eye of Timaeus to fused this, Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight." said Pharaoh

Dark Magician Girl and Timaeus fused together to become one and she appear with the knight armor and riding Timaeus.

Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight (2600-1700)

"That's one powerful monster." said Trunks

"It is now, Trunks. Now my dragon will attack Guardian Grarl, I activated her special ability by discard one card from my hand to destroyed Grarl and you take damage equal to his attack points." said Pharaoh

"Not so fast, I activated my trap Self Tribute, by pay 1000 of my life points so Guardian Grarl can't be destroyed." said Raphael as his Guardian is save from being destroyed

"Then I'll end my turn." said Pharaoh

Pharaoh - 2700 Raphael - 3000

"I'm getting worried about him, If pharaoh is gonna use that evil card then he'll be able to be with Tea." thought Trunks

Turn 7 Raphael

"It's my turn, I used the card again so I can draw a new one. I set one card and activated this Exchange." said Raphael

"Exchange?" confused Trunks

"Exchange allow both players to pick a card from their hand and use it as their own." said Raphael as he and Pharaoh walk toward each and revival their card.

Raphael took Pharaoh's Necromancy while Pharaoh look at the evil card just like the one in the scroll, sense this history is correct he decided to take the seal of orichalcos making Yugi in his spirit form worried.

"Pharaoh, what are you doing?" worried Yugi

"I'm sorry Yugi, but the history must stay correct." said Pharaoh

"I'm surprises that you took the card Pharaoh, as long as you wearing the stone around your neck the darkness will consume you." said Raphael

The stone is glowing and Pharaoh is started to feel the darkness within him, he didn't care at all. He look at the evil card, and the stone that he's wearing then it hit him that they are connected.

"I end my turn." said Raphael

Turn 8 Pharaoh

"My turn, I draw." said Pharaoh as Raphael's magic card decrease Pharaoh's life points from 2700 to 2200

"Now my dragon will attack Grarl, this time it will be destroyed." said Pharaoh as his started attack but it seal in the crystal

"What just happen?" confused Pharaoh

"I activated my trap, Crystal Seal. As long it remains on the field your dragon cannot be attack for a while, plus theirs more If you have a card to increase her attack points, she'll be free." said Raphael

"Then I set a monster and end my turn." said Pharaoh

Turn 9 Raphael

"It's my turn, I draw. I used the card effect to let me draw a new one. Next I activated an equip magic card Rod of Silence - Kay'est to equip my Backup Gardna and his defense points are increase by 500." said Raphael as his monster increase

Backup Gardna (500-2700)

"Next I normal summon Guardian Kay'est in attack mode." said Raphael as he summon his monster to the field

"What about that crystal seal? it stays on the field right?" confused Trunks

"Yes, but as long as it's not attack, my monster can attack Pharaoh directly." said Raphael as Trunks and Pharaoh are shocked

"Go Backup Gardna attack his face-down monster." said Raphael as Pharaoh's Big shield Gardna is destroyed leaving him wide open

"Now my Kay'est will attack you directly." said Raphael as his Guardian attack Pharaoh directly bring down his life points from 2200 to 1200

"I end my turn." said Raphael

Pharaoh is gonna lose the duel soon as he look at the evil card thinking that he has no choice but to used it, but he decide to wait for a little bit so he can talk to Yugi in the mind link.

"Yugi, I'm sorry." said Pharaoh

"Pharaoh, your not gonna used that card, are you?' said Yugi

"Yes, when Trunks show us the scroll that means that I have to play it." said Pharaoh

"No, you can't" begged Yugi

"Don't worry, I know that the Shadow Signers will drain the evil energy from the person who play the evil card. Sense Tea is one of them, I'll ask her." said Pharaoh as Yugi is shocked

Yugi felt helpless that the history must stay correct now that he feel sad to see his friend gonna play the card

"I hope he knows what he's doing." thought Yugi
