9. Chapter 9

Hi folks! This isn't an update, this is for the six lovely folks who followed this story forever ago.

I've been thinking about this for a while, but I'm officially going to abandon this work (I know, I'm so sorry). I've received nothing but negative feedback on it, and have grown a lot as an author in the time that's elapsed since my last update, to the point where I'd have to start from scratch if I really wanted to fix this up. As I have neither the time nor the desire to do that, I'm afraid that this is the end. With that said, I have a fair bit of this sketched out, with several semi-done scenes that happen later on in the story. If someone asks (and I won't do this on my own, because it's a lot of work to just yeet into the void if no one requests it) I am more than willing to share what I have + an outline of how I had originally wanted this fic to evolve and end.

Thank you, silent supporters. FFN started my journey in fandom, and it was nice for a while, but I've definitely grown to appreciate the culture (and lack of ads) over on AO3.

Edit: I also just realized that Chapters 4 and 8 are absolute gibberish... I have no idea how or when that happened, but I'll go back and fix them at some point. Whoops!
