"So I'm guessing that you want to act lovey dovey right?" Chizuru asks Kazuya a while after he let go of her
"Yeah I mean I have to so my friend doesn't think that anything is off between us" Kazuya respond after taking a sip of his coffee
"That does make sense your friend also goes to the same university as us right?" Chizuru asked whilst getting closer to him as more people came onto the train
"Yeah he's a guy that I met a few years back laid back but like me a bit of a pervert" Kazuya answered whilst also getting closer to her to the point where they were face to face. The train came to a stop and they looked at each other knowing that this was their stop as they looked at each other once again before walking out of the train both making a mental note to never talk about it ever again.
"So where is the place we are going to?" Chizuru asked as to avoid talking about the train ride
"Ah yes it's a rock climbing place! I've never been rock climbing before it seems fun!" Kazuya answered whilst stars appeared in his eyes indicating his excitement for this new activity
"YOOOO, Kazuya and um?" Shun ran up to them
"Oh hey Kuri meet Mizuhara, Chizuru meet Kuri" Kazuya introduced them to each other
"Hello I am Chizuru Mizuhara" Chizuru Extended out her hand to Shun he accepted the handshake
"Say Kuri where is your date?" Kazuya looked around to see anyone else in the immediate area
"Oh she's running a bit late but she'll be here in a bit" Shun answered right before his phone started to ring "Oh that's her I'll be right back!" He yelled before running in the opposite direction that the rock climbing place leaving both Kazuya and Chizuru standing there in the cold 2 degrees celsius
"December is here already I'm so ready for break in a few weeks" Kazuya says out loud as he stretches the 26 was fast approaching and so was the break
"Yeah my grandma is getting discharged soon and so we have plans the weekend she does" Chizuru tells Kazuya as she also stretches getting ready to do physical activity "Also why did you lie about my last name?" Chizuru asks Kazuya
"Well you see since they are my friends they come to place from time to time I didn't want them to know that I live next to you and ask me a bunch of questions" Kazuya answers her question while surveying the area to see if Shun was walking back yet and he did see Shun but with someone he didn't expect "Hey Chizuru look the way I am" Kazuya asks she does so
"Isn't that?" Chizuru asks while surveying the two
"Yep that's her" Kazuya turns to her nodding confirming that it was her as the couple walked toward them as they stopped in front of them
"Hey guys this is my date Sarashina Ruka" Shun introduced Kazuya and Chizuru to her whilst umbeware to him the three of them were just standing there in disbelief well only one third of them was, the remaining two thirds were what people call a freakout on the inside
"Ah nice to meet you Ruka-Chan? Is that right? I'm Kinoshita Kazuya" Kazuya extended his hand to her
"Nice to meet you too Kinoshita" Ruka accepted the handshake from him in complete disbelief that he was there
"Anyways Let's get to rock climbing. I'm so excited for this!" Kazuya exclaims as the stars in his eyes come back the others just surprised on how excited he was for this so they just followed him to the place.
"Wow this place is neat" Chizuru spoke out whilst inspecting the place
"Welcome to Climbers before you climb we need you to sign these forms that say that we won't get sued if you fall and break something that's not on us" An employee says to the group handing them the forms as aforementioned it took fifteen minus of writing but all of them finished signing the papers and now were able to climb at their own risk.
"Yahoo im at the top" Kazuya exclaimed in excitement while dangling on one arm "I didn't even know I had this much upper body strength to hold myself!" he let go to drop onto the ground below
"You seem good at this, How?" Shun asks Kazuya after he got up after falling purposely
"You see my dear friend………. I don't know myself" Kazuya answers as he start to walk to buy some water
"You disappoint me man" Shun says
"I disappoint myself" Kazuya replies grabbing the water bottle and taking a swig of it "anyways why did you choose here for the double date?" Kazuya asks Shun
"Kazuya look around what do you see" Shun says putting one arm over Kazuya's shoulder moving his hand across the area
"People rock climbing? That's it nothing else" Kazuya replies to him
"No Kazuya look up, booty" Shun snorted saying the last word Kauya looks at him deadpan right in the face
"Really that's why we are here so you can look at butts?" Kazuya asked in a deadpan tone "Listen man body is great and all but personality is important" Kazuya says to him putting his hand on his shoulder
"Kazuya why are you so smart right now?" Shun asks him taking off Kazuya's hand off his shoulder
"I don't even myself, during school I don't have much motivation to be smart" Kazuya answered failing to land the sentence
"Welp I have to use the restroom I'll be right back man" Shun says whilst walking away leaving Kazuya sitting down alone for a bit until
"Kazuya we have a situation" Chizuru says to him in a bit of a worried tone
"What's the problem? Is it something bad?" Kazuya asked in concern
"Well you see….. Ruka knows" Chizuru answers Kazuya being himself doesn't know what that meant
"Knows what?" Kazuya asks once again
"She knows that I'm a rental girlfriend" Chizuru answers now understanding the full scope of the situation Kazuya panics internally
"What can we do to make her think that you're not one" Kazuya asks for the third time panicking more this time
"I guess I'll just have to prove it to her that I am not one!" Chizuru replies to Kazuya walking away to talk to Ruka, Kazuya following a bit behind her "Hey Ruka I believe that you've got the wrong idea see me and Kazuya are here as only friends" Chizuru explains to her Ruka squinting her eyes to the both of them
"Do I really have to say why I do not believe that?" Ruka asks Chizuru whilst standing up to almost reach her height "First reason I've seen how you two have interacted today and two weeks ago you both seem to have an interesting relationship if what you are is just friends, my second reason is that do you honestly believe that you are just some small time rental girlfriend Chizuru!" Ruka starts to get up close and personal with Chizuru poking at her chest to show frustration "You're not, do you not understand that just search up your name and a shit ton of results come up I know for a fact that you are indeed a rental girlfriend while I do believe that you and Kazuya are friends there is no way he didn't pay you to come with him today" Ruka finishes her long winded speech the other two where standing there in disbelief that such a calm person can become so angered.
"Let's just calm down and just enjoy the rest of our time here ok?" Kazuya tried to defuse the situation but both girls looked at him with a bit of malice in their eyes 'I messed up didn't I?' Kazuya asked himself knowing that he did
"Fine since we came here I'll enjoy the time here" Chizuru says whilst walking to a wall to climb. Kazuya spent the rest of the time either talking to Shun or climbing while he was not great at it he pushed on until he finally reached the top of the beginners wall "Welp looks like our time is up this was fun I'll come again soon!" Kazuya says to the others whilst they looked at him knowing full well that they just made a mistake bringing him here.
"See you all sometime again!" Chizuru says to the other three whilst walking off to the train station
"Um Kazuya why are you walking with us? Shouldn't you be going with Mizuhara-san?" Shun asks him
"Oh no she has something to do right now, also I have to check up on my grandma" Kazuya replied in a lie well half lie he did have to go visit his grandmother but Chizuru, well he doesn't know her schedule for today. While walking he made sure to keep a distance between him and the couple reason being is that he didn't want to be in their way but after Ruka left to hop on a train he saw this as an opportunity to talk to her after Shun left the immediate area.
"So anything you have to say to me 'Friend?' " Ruka emphasis on the word friend was to question whether he'd back down or not
"Yeah I do, Please don't tell Shun not for me but for Chizuru you can tell him that I maybe rented a girlfriend but I don't want her to be affected." Kazuya says the her on his knees to show that he means it turning away from him she pulled out her phone 91 BPM
"Ok then I won't" Ruka replies to him walking off to get on her train
"Crisis averted right?" Kazuya asked himself not paying attention to the people around him but he did feel someone look at him for longer than usual 'Probably nothing, It's been a long day maybe I'm just tired' Kazuya thought to himself but someone was looking at him.
"Why did I let you go?" Mami mumbled to herself not knowing why she was still feeling this way towards him
