H- hi! *shuffles nervously* H- how you all doing?

*dodges to avoid getting hit by the imaginary thrown eggs*

I'm so so so sorry for the late update! It really wasn't planned. I was just swamped. Truly, utterly swamped.

But thank you all for sticking around with my inconsistent self. You guys are the best, no doubt about it! And

On the bright side, the romance is about to come up now. So... yyyaaaAaAaAAAAYYYYYY!

I was still reeling at the apparent "similarities" that my mother seemed to have a spotted in me when I was startled out of my reverie by Gideon letting out a huge bellow ("YOU!") and tackling someone who had just entered the province with huge gusto.

I heard Effie let out a gasp at the two men sprawled out on the floor just before Uma and her pirates entered the establishment.

"What in the world?" Uma said surprised as she took in the scenes. "Get off Harry, Gideon!" with one smooth tug of her hand, she had ripped Gideon right off Hook and onto his feet. I couldn't help but let out an impressed whistle.

What? Gideon was probably three times Uma's size!

I, thankfully, was ignored in favour for Gideon who was now increasingly resembling an angry, red, leather-clad bull. Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw some of Gaston's other kids, (seriously, Gaston had so many spawns he was probably single-handedly responsible for half the isle's population. That can't be healthy, right?) who always hung around at the tavern, stand up in case their brother needed any help. Gil, the poor thing, was looking between the pirates and his siblings with wide eyes.

"YOU!" Gideon repeated at a taken-back Hook, "YOU! You girlfriend stealer! How dare you? How dare you take Sisha away from me?"

About half the pub- including me, Effie and most of the pirates- let out synchronised groans.

This can't be happening...

"I will rip you apart! I will tear you from limb to limb! I will mount your head up on my wall, you scoundrel! I will..." What a charmer, isn't he Ladies and Gentlemen?

I heard Effie let out a sigh of delight from near me and sent her a weirded-out look which she completely ignored.

"Look, mate. I don't-"

"Don't you dare talk to me! You lowly SCUMBAG! You should be thankful I have let you stand there so long!"

Hook rolled his eyes so quickly you could've easily missed it. And I had to agree with his sentiments seeing Uma's hand that was still easily holding Gideon back with little-to-no effort.

"No one steals a Gaston's lady and gets away with it! No one I tell you! And you're about to see that yourself. You will now feel me and my sibling's wrath!" Gil shifted nervously on his feet.

I panicked for a second, thinking with horror of how my aunts and mum would react if a brawl started out in the tavern. They wouldn't take their frustrations out on Welga and Mack, right? Right...?

With that thought in mind, I took a step further to try to stop the fight but Uma (thankfully) beat me to the punch.

"Calm down now, boys," she said with her usual sassy voice, shoving the two men apart further with barely any effort as she moved to stand in between them, "Let's talk this out like adults."

"I don't want to TALK-" Gideon spat the word out with unnecessary vigour, "I want to see some ACTION! I want to see my FIST in his FACE!"

"Uh-huh, sure," Uma drawled out under breath with an irritated roll of her eyes, "You big, buff men and your little, fragile egos. Always going around causing more trouble then it's worth."

She ignored Gideon's sputter, instead choosing to briefly look back at Hook before her eyes travelled to Gil, then Gideon, then Gideon's siblings and then finally on me.

I met her gaze, but she seemed to be looking right through me as if I was nothing but an interesting piece of furniture.

I didn't let that fool me though. There was no mistaking the calculating look in her eyes.

She was planning something.

She finally turned back to Gideon, now with a smirk on her face, "Fine, then. How about we do this? A month from now- the dock, 12 noon sharp- you and Harry meet and fight it out?"

Well, that wasn't what I was expecting.

"Uma-"

"But we'll only agree to this arrangement," Uma continued, unperturbed by Hook's interruption as if he hadn't even spoken in the first place, "if you promise us- the pirates- an alliance with you and your siblings."

Ah, so there's the infamous 'catch'. She IS Ursula's daughter after all, loud and proud.

Gideon paused in his angry-bull persona for a moment as he took in the turquoise-haired girl's words. He paused, before slowly turning around to look at his siblings.

Gavin, the oldest of the group, stepped forward looking between the two pirates and his brother before slowly, unsurely letting out a small shrug.

Gideon turned back to Uma, eyeing Hook with a malicious glint in his eyes, a smirk curved upon his lips. He held out his hand for Uma to shake, enunciating a sharp, "Deal."

Hook's eyes had widened to the size of saucer's throughout the whole ordeal.

"Uma, are ye sure-" he started only to being silenced by Uma again with a raise of her hand and sharp glare.

She turned back towards Gideon, "Good. Meet you in a month then."

Gideon nodded too, sparing Hook another withering glare before turning towards me as a cocky grin spread over his face.

"Don't worry, my love. I shall win you and your honour back. Mark my words."

I wanted the earth to swallow me up whole at the moment as the mortification hit me like a truck. And more so the realisation that this was EXACTLY THE KIND OF THING MY MOTHER WOULD BE PROUD OF!

Sweet satan...

I barely managed to muster up a smile that came out somewhere between a crazy combo of ditzy and confused. Gideon seemed to buy it though as he just grinned even more brightly, jutting his chin up into the air, before dramatically stomping out of the tavern leaving me to stare at coarse wood of the still quivering door.

I stood there in silence, still waiting for my brain to catch up before doing anything.

I vaguely realised that people were heading back to their tables now, their focus realigning to their conversations. Effie let out what sounded suspiciously like a sniffle before stomping back towards the kitchen in a way that was strangely reminiscent of Gideon. Hook, Uma and Gil had their heads bent together as they rapidly discussed something, the rest of the pirates straining nearby to try to eavesdrop.

What about me? Well, my thought process went something around the lines of- 'AHHHHHH! No, no, no, no, no, no, NO! I hate my mom! No, no, no, no, no! Stupid, stupid fate! AHHH!"- on loop with obviously the occasional switch-ups.

So, yeah... I wasn't particularly pleased... or calm... or even sane, at the moment.

I shook off my thoughts with a start once I realised someone was approaching me with purposeful strides.

I looked up and my breath hitched with panic to see none other than Hook marching towards me, the rest of the pirates having already left, a furious glare fixed on his face.

Oh, great... just my luck.

I gulped as Hook didn't slow down even as he neared me, instead choosing to grab my hand and jerkily drag me out of the tavern, ignoring the jeers and wolf-whistles from nearby patrons.

I absolutely did NOT let out a terrified squeak as he did so.

He continued dragging me towards an empty alley before finally letting go of me and turning towards me with an expression that seemed even angrier than the one before.

He let out four simple words, filled with such venom that it could put Kaa to shame.

"We need to talk."

Ok. I wanted to ask y'all for some ship names for Sisha and Harry cause I think it's about time they got one.

Leave them in the reviews below and I'll pick out my favourite by either the next chapter or the chapter after that (depending on how early I'd have posted them).

Go down and leave your SHIP NAME ideas now!
