Jay had been sitting in the waiting room for around 7,200 hours. 120 minutes. 2 hours. He knew he shouldn't be as worried as he is, I mean when he checked her in the house, she was perfectly fine. Apart from the small wound, puffy eyes, swollen lips and small scrapes a bruise around her body, she was 'fine'. The blue hard plastic chair he was seated on wasn't the most forgiving; the small distant chatter was really starting to get to him; the cold white welled room made him feel lost. Although these things weren't really important, he was in the hospital, people throughout the whole building were probably having a worse day than him. He knows that all his agitation is down to the missing hazel-eyed girl, and the unknowing of her situation. The detective took this time to look around the room, seeing people in all different 'shape and size' from all over the world, he thanks God that he is in a better position than others. Knowing this is a cruel thought, Jay can't help but be grateful that he had managed to reach her in time, thinking of what could have happened sent shivers down his spine.

Moments later a nurse dressed in the familiar blue scrubs called him though, withing seconds he was up, agitated to get to Erin's room. The nurse directed him into a single room, inside the identical-looking room to the others on the floor. Jay saw his brother talking with another doctor he has seen around but never had a conversation with. Coughing, the two doctors stopped their conversation and looked up to Jay, they both stepped aside and the sight of the only bed in the room came into his view.

The weight of the world Jay had been crying for the last hours finally lifted, the detective sighed with relief as he made his way towards the bed. Erin had her eyes closed and her lips were slightly parted, there was an oxygen tube in her nose, there were two IVs coming from her hand and she a pulse oximeter on her index finger. Laying on her back Erin was dressed in a blue gown and had the blanket covering her, apart from her arms that were laying above the blanket. Her hair lay around her head framing her still bruised face, from the last time Jay had seen her, the bruises and marks looked worse and had a deeper colour. Although he knew they would look worse before getting better, it still made his blood boil and heartache for her.

"Jay?" Will spoke quietly trying to gain his brother attention. "Erin's doctor and I want to talk to you about her condition". The look his brother was giving Jay worries about his girl shot up, back at the house she had seemed fine. "Now although nothing critical has happened with Erin, if she doesnt follow her treatment it could go that way."

"Yes, im doctor Geller, I will be caring for Erin. I was informed with this situation, so when Erin comes around and requests for a female doctor I will understand. I know your personal involvement with miss Lindsey, as well as Wills, therefore im am the doctor but I have informed Will of my treatment plan and included any of his opinions", doctor Geller stated, "now as WIll said, Erin's condition is stable. She came in with four lacerations that needed stitches, one above the eyebrow, another about her left breast, one below her belly button and the last one on her inner thigh. There were no signs of sexual assault, although there are signs of a struggle possibly leading to that, we won't know specifically until we can ask her. During the exam, she seemed disorientated and dazed, we sent her for a CT scan, and it showed no intensive head injury so we crossed out brain damage, although she does have a slight concussion. When Erin wakes she may experience a headache, slight nausea and dizziness, but nothing too troubling. Our main concern though are her ribs, she has two broken ribs, three fractured, and two bruised ones. We have wrapped her torso and that should provide support, our worry is that any sudden movement could cause the broken bones to shift and cause a pneumothorax. This is where a broken rib, or a possible break from the fractured one, could puncture the lung resulting in us having to take her into surgery. That is not the case at the moment so don't worry, it may be painful for her to breath, as the ribs example with the lungs, and with them broken can hurt. The two IVs are giving her fluids for dehydration and nutrition, the other is giving pain meds allowing. We did have to giver he a sedative because as we were examining her and giving her the X-Ray and CT scan she was restless and in pain. When she wakes we need to perform a neuro exam, we have blood on the way and ill take a look at them. I also believe she is extremely malnourished, for her height and age, Erin should weight a lot more, but we will see to that when she wakes. that's all we have right now, we're waiting for her to wake and then we can come up with a more suitable treatment plan. I have more patients to tend to, so if you dont have any questions, ill be on my way." Doctor Geller rambled on.

If he were being honest Jay only listened to half of the words Erins doctor just said, getting the gist of it and knowing he could ask his brother minutes later. His focus was entirely on Erinbs still body, he barely caught Will thanking the doctor and the door sliding shut. He barely feels the light hand on his shoulder, belonging to his brother showing quiet support. All those things dont matter right now, all that matters is that he's waiting to see those beautiful hazel eyes. -

Hi, remember me? Sorry for not updating in a while, I kind of lost the motivation, but with the new year coming around and Christmas has gone I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year! Also if there are any spelling mistaked or random single letters, I was writing this whilst my cat was playing with the keyboard, I've proofread but I could have always missed some. Thank you for reading, please leave a review it means a lot!
