Christmas Miracles
Chapter 21th
Instead of calling Loreile. Director Leon Vance decided to drive on over to the house and tell her the information and see her reaction. Though he was tired and needed to get off his feet. Moving out of the hospital. He pulled out his phone to call her at nine o' clock. He didn't know on whether she was awake or not.
However she answered the phone right away with sitting on the front porch with Madeline while Shane was upstairs asleep in his crib that Gibbs had made for him.
They were chatting away when her phone had gone off with Madeline having a feeling that it might be good news.
"It's Vance." She stated to the DOD agent working the protection detail. "Leon good evening. What's going on to have you calling?"
"Listen I am going to be driving on over to the house to give you some excellent news in this weather. It's well worth it...I see that the snow is light now and the snowplows have been doing their jobs. I will be there as soon as possible within reason. I suggest that you put on the coffee pot, I am going to be needing it after all."
"What's so important to be coming out into a snow storm?" She stated with feeling cold all of a sudden with her snow jacket.
"Never you mind Loreile. I will tell you when I get there. I suggest you relax for now and give a big kiss to Shane." Vance needed to say...
"I will Leon. I will have Madeline to make the coffee along with her home made Christmas cookies." She hung up to head inside excited all of a sudden. "I am wondering whether Jethro knows about all this with Vance to be driving in the snow and the elements?"
"Loreile, you need to relax until he gets here. I will get the coffee going while you sit on the couch and relax or you can check on your son Shane while I get everything ready."

Vance had left his house dressed to the nines with the elements. Using a heavy brush he was able to remove the snow from his black truck. It was the best investment he had done the past few years like Gibbs did with his.
Covered in a fur grey hat, a heavy jacket, gloves and shot boots he was able to move off with his street cleaned of the snow with high piles. He had started out slow with the roads having been place with the chemicals to cut down on the sliding. He was going to take his time getting to her house.
But as it turned out there wasn't any traffic now that the snow has finally stopped after the past few days. Every light was green making it easy for him to drive his truck with the chains on his tires. To his benefit there weren't any police around accept the plows doing their jobs.
Finally some forty minutes later he arrived with parking in front of the house no where near one of the mountains of snow placed by the plows. He moved out of the truck with locking it with heading slow up to the steps and with knocking on the front door.
Loreile had told Leon that the door wasn't lock like always. He walked in with shaking off the light flakes of snow on his jacket. "I see you made it Leon. Please come into the kitchen to warm up with the coffee and baked cookies for the holiday.
After a few moments of silence. Leon and Loreile were drinking their coffee while Madeline was upstairs.
"Okay what gives my friend to have you come out in a snow storm even though the snow has almost stopped?" She needed to say to her 20 years of friendship.
"I received the Intel from the DOD on those two undercover agents working inside of Hernandez regime in Colebrook, Maine." He will say to have her interest...
"Tell me already Leon what is going on?" She replied with her curiosity peaked.
"Hernandez has been shot and killed by the agents while he was basically alone watching a movie on the cable. They fired four shots to his head and chest to have him dead for real. Those two agents are on their way back to the tri state region depending on whether they are able to land in their small plane with an military friend of theirs flying them back for a price."
"Thank god finally Leon the nightmare is over. Does my husband know this information about Hernandez?" She was anxious with finishing up the last of her coffee.
"Oh, yeah he knows. I was able to call him earlier Loreile for which he is finally relaxed. Even though he has a long way to go with his recovery." Vance needed to say to his friend feeling better...
"I know. And I am going to try my best to support him for when it comes to his physical and mental issues. I don't plan to push him until he's ready."
"And what does that mean Loreile in my head?" He offered with needing to know what she was talking about.
"His job on whether he wants to come back with his possible retirement, our marriage mostly with the sex issues that needs to be address and then there's his son and this child on it's way. I am hoping that he's going to be able to cope with all this at once?"
"Look lets Gibbs take everything at his own speed. Pushing him to deal with these issues just might push him over the edge with more sessions with Doctor Grace and Doctor Anthony Sterling. When my wife was shot and killed. I had a very hard time with trying to cope with her death. You know this Loreile with me needing the help of the therapists later and then getting caught in the web of lies with Mallory Madden." He cried out with taking a bite of the Christmas cookie made by the DOD agent with the protection detail.
