Sam threw the book against the wall, hating his predicament. He was back in their room, but he was alone. A demon was stationed outside on guard.

Why was he being singled out?

It had to have been because of his...visions...

Sam

Sam bolted up, looking around for the source of the sound.

Sam

"I'm here...I'm here..." He replied. "Who are you?"

Sam

He was getting impatient, tired of all of the mysteries and conspiracies surrounding his life.

SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!

Sam held up his hands to his ears, screaming in pain as he crouched down to the ground, the whole room shaking with the noise. What seemed like an eternity later, it stopped. Collapsing fully, he tried to catch his breath, wondering what the hell that was. He just wanted Dean, and Sherlock, and John back. He wanted to get out of here...as far away from here as possible.

The Doctor was unable to sleep, could not remember the last time he had enough peace of mind to do so. Heading to the library, he thought about all of the possible places he could find his friend.

Castiel

He heard a faint flutter of wings, and turned to see a man standing before him. He had dark hair, and was dressed in a suit, covered by a large trench coat that was just a little too big for him.

"Castiel?" The Doctor asked.

"Yes, Doctor?"

The Time Lord came up and hugged the angel of the Lord tightly. "It's been too long, old friend."

"It has...what has happened? I felt this, dark presence suddenly erupt from this place on Earth I never knew about."

The Doctor looked sad for a moment. "It's...a bit complicated...come on." He led him to the control room and pulled up a map of the world. "I managed to keep track of this place after all of this time, but, day by day, there's this darkness that keeps getting stronger, and I fear these poor boys are in grave danger."

"Boys?" Castiel asked.

"Moriarty, the demon? He's back, and more powerful than ever. He kidnapped these boys years ago, saving them for something, I don't know what...but it's not good. They have suffered so much...these innocent young men now..."

"Can you not grab them with the TARDIS?"

"I was told to wait..." The Doctor said, annoyed. Cas nodded in understanding. "But now...I think I know why...I needed you..."

"Me? No...I can't...there has to be someone else."

"There is no one else. You know you're not the most popular kid up there, right?"

Cas closed his eyes, hurt. "Of course...it's just..."

Those memories...they're just awful...

Why me?

"I wish I could remember everything..."

"I don't know if they have much time to wait for that..." The Doctor said sadly.
