It was Halloween. Today I was finally gonna meet Luke and Maria formally. And there was a get together at my house. I invited all my friends and their families too.

Izzy-"Hey Clare...what are u gonna wear tonight?"

Clary-"Anabelle's costume."

Izzy-"Cool...I need you to come here and help me pick an outfit."

Clary-"Iz its 6 in the morning and the get together starts at 5 in the evening."

Izzy-"I know but cant you do this for the person who cares so much about you the one who makes you laugh...Ahhhh this cruel world. And-"

Clary-"Fine...I need 1 hour to get ready. I'll be there by 7.30"

Izzy-"Love ya.."

Clary-"I hate yaaaaaa..."

Izzy-"I know you love me. You dont have an option"

Clary-"I knowwww"

Izzy-"Ok then..see you at my house."

Clary-"Bye."

I got ready. It was 6.45.

Jocelyn-"Clary you ready?"

Clary-"Yes mom."

Valentine-"Good morning sweetie."

Clary-"Good morning dad."

Jocelyn-"Clary Luke and Maria will be here till 3 so we were wondering that we should take you to a mall and go to Zara."

I smiled. My mom and dad were keeping their word. They were becoming better at parenting.

Clary-"I would love that. But I have to go to Izzy's house right now. But I can cancel if you want."

Valentine-"Its fine kiddo. You go and have fun. We'll go at 12. Is that fine?"

Clary-"Sounds perfect. See ya...Bye"

Jocelyn-"Bye sweetie. Take care and do not talk to strangers."

Clary(Sarcastically)-"What! Ohh mom but why shouldn't I? I like their company but-"

Jocelyn-"Just go."

Clary-"All right Fine."

I drove to Izzy's house.

-An hour later-

Izzy-"Is this good?"

Clary-"Izzy you've shown me a billion dresses. And if you ask me every dress is good."

Izzy-"You are hopeless."

I rolled my eyes. Izzy picked up the phone and called up Jace.

Jace-"What's up Iz.."

Izzy-"I need a little help here. Do you mind coming to my house."

Jace-"I'll be there in a few."

Izzy cutting the phone-" At least someone will help me."

Clary-"Seriously?"

Izzy-"Mmhmm..he is better than you no offense."

Clary-"None taken."

Suddenly both of our phones buzzed. We unlocked it. On seeing the message I went pale. My legs became wobbly.

Izzy-"Oh my god...that son of a bitch cannot do this."

Clary-"Iz I am going home."

Izzy-"Clare you ok?"

Clary-"I dont know. I just need to go home."

Izzy-"Fine and text me if you want to talk to me."

I sat in the car. I looked at the message again. It was a message from Simon. It was a picture of Jace and Kaelie kissing in the cafe. That lard ass had cheated on her. My eyes were blazing with anger.

A small part of me wanted to go and punch him in the face. Somehow I took control of my temper. I drove back home and didn't look back. He was so broken up with. Jace was so broken up with.
