Kelly took over Manny watch, with the help of a few ice packs made by Abbey. Abbey looked exhausted and so did Ghoulia. She sat next to the poor monster. He looked peaceful at the moment because Abbey just cooled him down again before she left to rest. Kelly ran her fingers through the blonde hair on his head and worriedly chewed the inside of her cheek. How long would it take a water monster to get medicine? For that matter how far away are we from a place that could help? She felt tears come to her eyes as she sat with her knees up under her chin, her arms wrapped around her legs. She heard something and looked up. I took her a moment to find the culprit. In the vines that covered the hut there was a green lizard looking at her, he was so well camouflaged that she barely noticed him. She wiped the tears away and looked back at Manny. His arm was bandaged where the bullet had been. She gently took his hand and squeezed it. Manny hadn't woken up since the fever hit and Kelly was getting really worried.

"Hey lizard? You got any antibiotics?" Kelly asked looking up at it again, another tear dropping from her lashes. She laid down next to the minotaur, her head against his chest so she could hear his heart beating. Manny moved and opened his eyes. He sat up and pulled his shirt off with a groan.

"Go away, normie!" he mumbled. Then he rolled to his other side, made a GAH! And rolled back to his back, his eyes closing again. Kelly frowned and rested her hand on his chest. She could feel the beat of his heart, and surprisingly Manny put his hand over hers. As he breathed in and out Kelly could feel his chest rise and fall, softly. She sat there with him like that for a few hours before she couldn't sit there anymore. She stood up and shook her legs out. She paced outside of the hut for a couple of minutes before going back in to check on him. He was getting hot again.

With a sigh she put another icepack on his forehead. Abbey could get a little nap in, but she wasn't sure how long these ice packs would last. The weather was fairly warm. She looked at the frozen bowl of water and hoped she would be able to use that. It had already started melting. There was a knock on the outside of the hut and Monica poked her head in.

"Hey, how's he doing?" Monica whispered.

"Not well, hopefully Laguna gets help soon," Kelly said. Monica handed her a pomegranate.

"I picked one of these up for you. I figured you'd be hungry," Monica said. Kelly took it and started eating away at it. She was so worried about Manny, that she had forgotten to eat.

"Thanks," she said between bites.

"That's a cute top! Are those leaves?" Monica asked. Kelly laughed and blushed.

"I am so clumsy, that I fell! Heath was right behind me and he burned my bikini," Kelly explained with a laugh, "It was hilarious, but Clawdeen had to make me something to cover."

"No way!" Monica said laughing, "Hey, did you hear about Simon and his crazy theory?"

"Yeah, Simon, came and talked to me," Kelly replied, glancing at the lizard who turned its head to Monica. Maybe she shouldn't say anything, just in case. Then they heard something strange.

"That sounds like an airplane," Kelly said to Monica. They both jumped out in time to see a small plane fly overhead. It was up too high and there were no special markings on it. It looked like it dropped something.

"I'm on it," Clawd said running into the woods.

"I wonder what that was. I hope it wasn't poop. You know I heard that some airplanes just let peoples poop and pee go out in the air," Monica said, still looking in the woods where Clawd had run.

"Okay, now that is really gross. I really hope that's not what it was," Kelly said shaking her head and going back into the hut Manny sat up for a moment. He had taken the piece of fruit Kelly had left when she ran out. He was eating it slowly. His blue eyes looked at her as if he dared her to say something.

"Do you want anything else to eat?" Kelly asked. Monica kneeled in the sand next to her.

"No, this is fine. I don't feel so good, but I'm hungry," Manny said picking the seeds out a couple at a time.

"I'll go get some more," Monica said patting Kelly on the leg.

"You should drink some water," Kelly said handing him a pouch that she saw Ghoulia giving him earlier.

"Thanks," Manny said gulping down the water with a look of disgust, "Ugh, it's warm, but it's not like we have a whole lot of choice."

He handed it back to her, "Where'd you get that top, Tarzan?"

Kelly laughed, "It's a long story."

Manny shrugged, "Can you tell me about it sitting back to back? I want to lean on something."

"Okay," Kelly said getting behind him. His weight pushed her forward a bit, but wasn't totally uncomfortable. She could also tell he was partially holding himself up. Monica came in and her eyebrows rose at them.

"Aren't you getting chummy," Monica said handing Kelly another pomegranate. Manny glared at her and snorted. Kelly started peeling the skin back on it.

"So, I went to get cleaned off earlier and Heath came with us, because he was our look out-," Kelly started and Manny laughed.

"What?" Kelly asked.

"I already know it's going to be funny. Heath was involved. Don't even get me started on that flamer," Manny said shaking his head and chuckling as he ate, "He's lit me on fire, literally, I can't even tell you how many times."

"Well anyway, He asked me something. I don't remember what it was now, but I wasn't watching where I was going and I fell. He was right behind me and when I fell it tripped him and he landed on my back. He burned my bikini," Kelly said and Manny started laughing pretty loudly.

"It wasn't that funny," Kelly said with a pout. Manny stopped laughing as it dawned on him, and leaned forward. He turned and touched the pink spots on her back.

"Ow, what'd ya do that for?" Kelly asked straightening her back away from his poking fingers.

"You should have told me! I wouldn't have leaned on you," Manny said snorting at her angrily.

"It's not that bad… unless someone pokes it," Kelly said her eyebrows furrowing.

"It just kind of looks like a sunburn," Monica put in. Manny shoved her off his mat and laid back down. He handed her the rest of the pomegranate.

"I'm good. I don't feel well. Can you get some more ice?" Manny asked, his stomach grumbling. Kelly dipped the rag into the ice water and set it on his head. She ate the pomegranate while Monica talked about the different fruits they found. Apparently, there was a grove of banana trees nearby. A few minutes later there was a commotion. Clawd came barging in with a big smile on his face.

"Laguna must have made it to some mainland and they flew us some antibiotics!" Clawd said handing Kelly a box. Kelly opened it and there were instructions and couple of needles. She looked at Clawd happily.

"Do you mind doing it? I'm not good with needles and I really don't want to see his butt," Clawd said.

"I got it," Kelly replied, reading the instructions carefully. It did say to stick it in his butt cheek. She picked up a needle of yellow liquid and squeezed it so a little squirted out. She remembered doctors doing that to make sure there was no air, or something. Then she climbed over the now sleeping bull. She patted his side.

"Hey, Manny. This is probably going to pinch," Kelly said giving Monica a nervous glance. Clawd put his hand on Manny's shoulder. Kelly looked at him as she pulled Manny's shorts down a little and stuck the needle in. She quickly pushed the antibiotics in as Manny let out a noise. His eyes opening wide and he pushed against Clawd. Kelly pulled the needle out as Manny glared at her.

"Damn Normie! What did you do that for?" Manny grumbled and then moaned putting his hand over his eyes.

"Better her, than Ghoilia. I mean at least she moves a little faster," Clawd remarked letting go of Manny's shoulders.

"What the hell was that?" Manny asked.

"It's an antibiotic. You should be feeling better real soon," Kelly said reading over the label again, "It says you'll need another shot tomorrow. If you want Ghoulia can give it to you. If you're not comfortable with me."

"No, it's okay, it doesn't hurt anymore, so you weren't that bad, I guess," Manny mumbled and Clawd laughed.

"Yeah, it would probably hurt a lot more going ten times slower," Clawd said with a laugh, "Not that Ghoulia can help it or anything. Ghoulia's great, she just moves a little slower."

Kelly laughed. Clawd didn't like to say anything bad about anyone.

"Why does it say #TeamMan-lly?" Monica asked looking at a small slip of paper that had fallen out.

"What? Manly?" Kelly grabbed the slip of paper, her eyebrows furrowed as she tried to figure out what it meant.

"Oh! I get it! Manny-Kelly! Man-lly! Hahaha That's funny!" Clawd chuckled, shaking his head.

Manny grunted angrily, "Oh, hell no!"

Kelly giggled and ruffled Manny's hair, "Aww so cute! Team Man-lly! But what does that mean? Who came up with that?"

"Well, whoever it was had to have some money at their disposal, to fly medicine over here, and so quickly. I thought it maybe was Laguna, but why would she say team Man-lly?" Monica replied.

"Oh, god! What if we screwed up? What if this was something we shouldn't have used?" Kelly said, her eyes widening, "What if we just killed him? Someone get Ghoulia!"

Clawd ran out of the hut, and Manny laid back down.

"Don't fall back asleep, Manny," Kelly said, rubbing his shoulder.

"Ugh! If you killed me you would put me out of my misery! Stupid normie!" Manny grumbled closing his eyes.

"Seriously, Manny, don't fall asleep. Wait until Ghoulia gives the okay," Monica said, pushing up her glasses.

"Like I said, if she killed me, she'd be putting me out of my misery! There is absolutely no way I would ever team up with a normie like her!" Manny growled.

Kelly frowned, "I'm not that bad… I share my pomegranate?"

"Yeah that's about all you're good for," Manny replied shaking his head. Kelly sighed.
