Elanor Is Found.
Hadrian POV
The list of all girls in the third year this year has been reduced to one in every house except Slytherin. Those three are Hermione Granger, Elanor Thomas, and Hannah Abbott. I met up with Riley after breakfast. I was walking past the area that was forbidden in the first year when she saw me and pulled me into an abandoned classroom.
"Hello Riley, I have a list of three girls here. This is what we Slytherins came up with so, it may not be the best list. I would like you to get me information on the two girls starred." I say handing her a piece of parchment with the names Elanor Thomas and Hannah Abbot starred.
"It's not Hannah, I share a room with her and she has no dark tendencies, but I could not say the same about Ellie. I know her the best on this list as she is my girlfriend. She told me in the second year that she liked me, and it carried on from there. She'd also told me that she had to convince the sorting hat to not place her in Slytherin hence why she was at the longest stall in history." I nod signifying that I was convinced about this.
"Your Ellie is the last of the lost seven. I would like to meet with her if that's alright with you. Mind you, if I can convince my Papa to escort us out of the school, we would head to Gringotts to get a blood test. As she is your girlfriend I invite you to come along with us."
"Your Papa?" Riley questions, head tilted to the left side. I nod and whisper in her ear.
"Professor Snape, potions master. He is the submissive mate to the Dark Lord. He'd asked for me to call him Papa" I explained to my newly found friend.
"We'll be in the library after lunch. I will tell her that she is meeting a friend of mine who wants to tell her a story from the dark side of the wizarding war."
"Thank you, Riley. I must also thank Quinn for getting you to aid us in our search. You will be rewarded by me. I have decided to start my league of followers. My father knows and it is up to the 'Jr Death Eaters' to either be led by me or my father. I wish for you to be a part of my premier team. It is the equivalent to my father's elite circle, also meaning that there are a limited number of spots. Although it is up to you to follow me. Your 'mark' will be a piece of jewellery of your choice." Riley nods.
"I'll get back to you when we meet up with Ellie after lunch," she says, giving herself a little time to think it over.
I went to the Slytherin common room to announce that Elanor is nearly found. I then head to the Gryffindor common room for my weekly heir rounds. As soon as I'm there, I ask for the prefects to assemble in front of me. "Any reports, issues, or staff complaints?" I ask this was the 10th week that I've been doing this.
"Yes," says Aurora, the 6th year female perfect, "I have had numerous good reports on mandatory classes for the 4th years and below that Potions has improved and Professor Snape is less biased. I have also had numerous reports that Headmaster Dumbledore is very harsh and irritable towards students. It is also rumoured that Headmaster Dumbledore has forced students to do unspeakable things."
"Thank you, Aurora. All of you please assure your housemates that you five are always approachable and that if they don't go to you that any prefect or I are the same. I will do anything to ensure your learning here is pleasurable and safe. I must be off to check on Ravenclaw and make sure that they are all taking care of themselves and not just studying." The prefects laugh at my joke and I head out.
I then make my way to Ravenclaw tower to check on the studious Eagles. I get to the tower entrance and see that a girl is standing outside of the entrance as if she couldn't answer the riddle the oh-so-infamous knocker came up with.
"Hello," I say to try and gain her attention. When she looks over at me I ask, "What's your name?" The tanned girl with hazel hair stays silent for a few seconds.
"Elanor. My name is Elanor Thomas. Though I could ask the same for you, mister. Why are you coming here, you're not in Ravenclaw?" I sigh at the question.
"Well Elanor, my name is Hadrian Riddle and I am heir to all four founders of Hogwarts, as for why I'm here, it's my job on behalf of Hogwarts to ensure the safety and pleasurable learning of every student at Hogwarts," I explain. I get close enough to the knocker for it to ask the riddle.
"What can travel around the world while staying in a corner?" I take a moment to search all my memories before I come up with the answer by seeing muggle mail in one of them.
"A stamp," I say to the knocker, I then look at Elanor who seems confused. "A stamp is a part of the muggle post service, you could send a letter with the service anywhere in the world and the stamp still stays on the corner of the envelope you placed it on," I explain as we step into the common room. The prefects, as usual, look up to see who entered the common room. As soon as they caught sight of me, they stood up to give their reports. I got plenty of good reports on the teachers and the same bad ones to Dumbledore as well as a stack of parchment to which they called "Notes on the curriculum." I take the stack of parchment and bid them farewell.
I look at my pocket watch and see that it is lunchtime. I head to lunch and eat quickly. "What are you doing idiot?" Draco asks, implying that I left him alone for too long.
I grab his wrist and pull him into my lap. "Eat up, we're headed to the library before lunch ends. Riley and Elanor Thomas are meeting us there, though they only expect me. You better be on your best behaviour or no cuddles tonight." I whisper into his ear, he grabs a plate and fills it with as much as he'll eat. He finishes eating 10 minutes before the end of lunch. We then head out to the library where I lead Draco to my favourite table to wait. Draco decides to sit on my lap instead of on another chair. He cuddles into my chest as soon as the girls see us. Even though my shirt, I can feel his warmth.
"Hello Hadrian, Draco" Riley greets with a smile. "Ellie, Hadrian This is Hadrian and his mate Draco. He wants to tell you the story of the 'lost seven' he thinks you are one of them."
"Hello, again Elanor. Now, The story of the lost seven is about seven kids from the "Dark" side. Those seven are William Carrow, Charlotte Greyback Corvus Lestrange, Apollo and Phoenix Black-Lupin, myself Hadrian Riddle, and Elanor Greyback." Elanor looks at me in shock hearing her first name in the 'story' of the kidnapping.
"That is the order from oldest to youngest. On the 1st of November, the day after Samhain, it was the eldest's Birthday.. William Carrow turned 11 and received his Hogwarts letter. There was a plan devised by the light to take away any child they could from the Dark. That was only seven. The light was lucky as when they attacked the manor the families were in, all seven of the kids they took were asleep in the same room. They then placed the children with well-known families of the light. The older five were stuck in the same household. They were known as the Weasleys. Bill, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George were their guises." I take a deep breath before continuing at my part.
"The second to youngest, at 5 months was placed with the Potters. The youngest is unknown who she was placed with at 3 months old. Six of the seven made their way back to their families, with a little help. Now, those six are searching tirelessly to find Elanor. Charlotte's little sister is the world to her and it would do everyone good if she was found. Both Charlotte and Elanor are born werewolves, so they can kind of control when they transform." I finish the story and see that Elanor, the Ravenclaw, is taking her time to process this.
"Can we test this theory?" Elanor finally asks. I nod and motion for them to follow me. Draco fell asleep on me, so I carried him to Papa's office.
"Papa? Are you in here?" I ask in his office.
"Hadrian, Prince, what are you doing here?" Papa asks, worried that Draco might be hurt.
"He's not hurt papa, he's just asleep. I came here with two friends as well. Elanor, the one with hazel coloured hair, might be Ellie. She obliged to take a blood test at Gringotts to test it. Riley, the one with glasses, is her girlfriend and wanted to come along." I explained to papa.
"Well, Ms Thomas and Ms Wilson, come with me. Hadrian, my son, stay here with Draco in case he wakes up." With that Papa left with the two girls and floo-ed to Gringotts. I fell asleep on the couch with Draco on me not too long after they left. When I awoke, someone was touching my Dragon. I let out a low growl, as I was still groggy from the long nap I took. The growl woke Draco and he was trying to soothe my anger.
"Hadrian, Great news!" Papa announces. I rub my eyes and mumble something incoherent to the phrase 'what is it?'. Papa then exclaims, "You found her! You found Ellie. Charlie is gonna freak out. Everyone is going to freak out!"
"Can we floo to Father? It's Samhain, we could play it off as we're celebrating Samhain." I ask papa, ready to see family again.
"Sure, grab a change of robes. We're going overnight." I nod and race to my shared dormitory with Draco to grab both of us robes. I drop them back off at papa's office.
"I need to tell Dumbledore. Not where we're going, just that we are and that all classes are cancelled on behalf of Samhain." I explained to papa.
I head to the Headmaster's office and open it with the heir rings. "Professor Dumbledore? Are you here?" I ask through the door.
"Come in Mr Riddle. Any Reports?" Professor Dumbledore asks me.
"None concerning you professor. I came here to inform you that Professor Snape and I are going home with a few other students to celebrate Samhain. I wish for the classes to be cancelled tomorrow for the fact that some may wish to celebrate as well. If you need someone to commence the ceremony, I would ask the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. I must be off, my parents are awaiting my arrival. Au revoir et a demain Professeur" (Goodbye and see you tomorrow professor) I wave to him and walk out of the room removing my mask as soon as I'm outside of the gargoyle. I head back to papa's office and we all floo to Malfoy manor, where father always spends Samhain.
