City of hurt Chapter 11: Like I'm going to Lose you, a mortal instruments fanfic

So this is the second one I hope you enjoy but after this its the end of this fanfic I really enjoyed writing this fanfic and yes I'm posting this and finishing this before my other fanfics but I had to I'm sorry. The song used in this chapter is Like I'm gonna lose you it was originally by Meghan Trainor but I don't listen to that version I listen to the jasmine Thompson version. Any way This is the final chapter I am going to be posting on this fic and I'm not crying you are so I really hope you enjoy. *Sniffle*

Previously..

The nurse had come in and told them a piece of news that would change their life forever,

"I'm sorry but she won't survive for much longer I suggest that you say your goodbyes now." There was pity evident in her voice before she walked away. Jace had tears streaming down his face so did Izzy, Magnus, Max, Maryse, Jocelyn, Luke even Alec was crying. Max, Maryse Jocelyn and Luke had all arrived after Izzy had called them. The first one that said goodbye was Jace, every tear that fell from his face landed on Clary's frail skin. He held her hand before giving her a last kiss and saying goodbye,

"Clare I'll see you soon. I love you so much and I can't wait to see you again." With one last kiss on her fore head he left the room and the hospital, he got on his motorbike and went to the institute to see if there were any missions available. He had grabbed only a seraph blade and fought most of them till one stabbed him with his claw and injected poison in him. As the poison coursed through his cold body he reminisced old memories with Clary, Max, Maryse, Izzy, Alec, Magnus and even Simon. But soon the memories faded and all that was left was darkness. To most shadowhunters he was the boy who let emotions cloud his judgement, but his friends and family knew and passed it down generations that he was the one who lost what could never be returned. Some say that it was a demon attack but others say it was from a broken heart. Its sad really because Clary's heart gave out the same time he died, Alec and Izzy said their goodbyes to her with everyone else.

I found myself dreaming in silver and gold

"Jace." The voice called out "Jace wake up your having a nightmare." That's when he saw his redhaired angel. He looked at her and saw that nothing was wrong with her and it was all a dream he let out a breath of relief and scooped her up into a bone crushing hug. Clary felt him shake as if he was crying, she could also hear him muttering something.

"Hey you ok baby?" She asked pulling back and wiping his tears, he nodded before kissing her hard but not rough just hard and sweet.

"I thought you were gone." Jace said voice wavering. Clary looked at him with concern lacing her eyes but she said nothing just hugged him, because some actions speak louder than words. They eventually fell asleep and he held onto her as if he would lose her.

And he did just that. Whenever they left on missions he always held her like he was saying goodbye and he kissed her a lot longer than normal. Eventually he proposed to her and she said yes, Izzy had planned the entire wedding and some how Simon had gotten his memories back so they were back together. Once the wedding was over Clary had given her bouquet to Magnus and told him to turn around. When he did Alec was there on his knee with a gorgeous ring that Magnus had absolutely loved.

They were never promised tomorrow thats why they all made it special one way or another. after a couple of years Jace and Clary had their first child who they named George after one of Simons buddies that he met at the shadowhunter academy that had died from the mortal cup. Izzy and Simon had become Mr and Mrs Lovelace. Magnus and Alec had adopted a warlock named Madzie and were looking at another one named Max. Max lightwood ended up meeting the love of his life at 13 her name was Megan, she was beautiful with her dark brown hair and blue eyes.

They all lived happily in love with each other, Izzy and Simon had three children one named Lydia the other Maia and the boy Luke after Luke passed away with Jocelyn because of old age. Clary and Jace also had three kids and named them George, Jocelyn and Maryse, the kids often asked who they were named after and Jace and Clary told them after powerful people who were nice and kind. Magnus and Alec also ended up having three kids Madzie, Max and Rafael who lived with each other till they found their true love. They all loved and all lost but they all stayed together like they were supposed to do.
