A/N: Thank you for the comments.

"I hear you are getting a new bodyguard." Laura said as she entered Jennifer's quarters a couple of days later.

"How did you get in?" Jennifer asked confused.

"Rodney gave me an override."

"He did? Why?"

"I threatened him." Laura explained.

"Why?" Jennifer asked, both amused and confused.

"So I could get in here, obviously."

"You could just the buzzer thing." Jennifer pointed out.

"But then you would have to get up and you are meant to be resting." Laura shrugged. "Which leads me to my next question, why are you not resting?"

"I am. I am lying in bed."

"While working." Laura said taking the tablet off her.

"What else am I meant to do?"

"Pick the movies."

"What movies?"

"The movies for your date with the Colonel."

"What date?" Jennifer asked lost.

"He is coming in one hour."

"Why?" Jennifer asked confused.

"Did you get some sort of brain injury? Because we have literary just covered this. He is coming for your date."

"I am far too tired for this." Jennifer said. "Seeing I am meant to be resting why is the Colonel coming?"

"Where else would your doting boyfriend be?" Laura asked.

"Seeing we aren't actually dating, playing toy cars or golf or guitar."

"That's quite an impression you have of his hobbies." Laura said dryly. "But seeing he is meant to be your boyfriend he will be here with you."

"What am I meant to do with him?" Jennifer asked.

"Good looking Colonel, in your quarters? There are quite a few possibilities." Laura pointed out. "But seeing you are too much of a prude for most of them, we are back to you picking a movie or two to watch with him."

"I still don't get why he is coming."

"Ignoring the fake boyfriend thing, he found out that if he didn't, Rodney and Ronon would."

"So it is a pity date?"

"You really are a glass half empty girl aren't you?" Laura asked.

"Can you pass me my radio?" Jennifer asked.

"Why?"

"So I can tell the Colonel not to come."

"That's not happening." Laura said firming. "Just pick some movies or I will do it for you."

"Fine, but I will need my tablet."

"Just because I am a marine does not make me stupid. We both know if I give you your tablet you will just work."

"Then how am I meant to pick a movie?"

"Tell me the names and I will do the rest."

"The rest?"

"Ensure they are suitable, then make sure there is a copy round here to watch."

"When did you start running a blackmarket in movies?"

"I don't run a black market. And you know you make it incredibly hard to help you."

"I don't need any help."

"I'm not going to dignify that with an answer."

"Don't you have something to blow up?" Jennifer tried. "I heard Rodney was making a new explosive."

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" Laura asked. "Because I can call the Colonel and ask him to come early."

"You know we are not actually dating, nor will we ever date? So why are you pushing it so hard?"

"Because only half of your statement was true." Laura shrugged. "Plus you need to have fun."

"Working is fun."

"Statements like that shows just how much help you need."

"Don't you enjoy your work?" Jennifer asked.

"Of course I do, I blow stuff up. That is fun. Staring at microbes not so much."

"Remind why we are friends?" Jennifer asked dryly.

"You would be bored without me." Laura shrugged.

"That is true." Jennifer agreed.

"Now stop procrastinating and choose the movies."

"Lieutenant?" John greeted surprised as Laura opened Jennifer's door.

"Sir." She greeted letting him. "You moving in?" She asked as he carried a large box into the room.

"No. This is a gift for the doc."

"Well." Laura said before looking at Jennifer and saying. "I'll leave you to it. Don't do anything I wouldn't."

"Did I interrupt something?" John asked as Laura left.

"More like save me, so thank you." Jennifer said.

"You're welcome." John said confused. "Oh, this is for you." He said putting the big box down on the bed.

Opening it with her one good hand she looked up at John who explained.

"You did ask for chocolate, even if you don't remember."

"I did, thank you. But where did you even get this much chocolate from?" Jennifer asked seeing what would be a year's supply for her in the box.

"The Apollo." John said.

"And you have been hoarding it?" Jennifer asked.

"Saving it for a special occasion."

"So why today?"

"Well, one, you need the boost. And two, the whole city is gunning for me so I am trying to boost my reputation."

"So it is apology chocolate?"

"No."

"It's what it will look like." Jennifer pointed out.

"You're right it will make me look even more guilty. Why will no one believe me?"

"You do have history." Jennifer reminded him. "And Rodney gave a colourful description."

"To you?"

"No. Just everyone else. So what did happen?"

"The youngest daughter of the leader wanted me to marry her in order for her to have a better claim for the throne. So she tried entrapment." He explained before noticing Jennifer was smiling. "What is that expression for?"

"Sorry, I just find it funny you always end up in these situations."

"I don't always end up in these situations."

"True." Jennifer said. "But it must be...well let's see….fifty four percent of your missions."

"Fifty four? Kind of precise." John commented.

"Well I'm a numbers kind of girl. Colonel Mensa."

"I assumed you liked numbers based on fact rather than speculation." John countered.

"I do." Jennifer confirmed.

"Yet fifty four percent sounds like speculation." John said.

"It's not. We can check on the database if you want."

"What database?" John asked.

"The mission database, split up by fun facts. Such as number of missions where Ronon required stitches, or where Zelenka fainted or where you ended up Kirking it. Not only does it show fifty four percent, but you are 17 percent clear of the number two on the list. Captain Fraser if you are interested."

"You are making this up." John said.

"No. Pass me my tablet and I'll load it up." Jennifer offered.

"Is this a trick to assist you do work?" John asked.

"No." Jennifer said. "But if you don't want to see the database we'll leave it."

"Here." John said passing her the tablet as his curiosity getting the better of him. After a few taps Jennifer handed the tablet back to him.

"Who put this together?" John asked.

"Rodney's team." Jennifer replied.

"They so need more work to do." John said. "Time to up their self defence training."

"Isn't that a little mean?" Jennifer asked.

"Having seen this, absolutely not." John said frowning. "Especially as they have clearly being hiding it from me. How many people have actually seen this?"

"Most of the city." Jennifer said.

"Lorne?" John asked.

"Ummm."

"Is this how he makes up his odds?" John pressed.

"Ummmm."

"I am so going to use the power that comes with being the military officer in charge." John said.
