Outtake:

Heidi POV

The sun beat down on me as I walked up the path to the main lobby. Florida's heat was a drastic change from Chicago's winter weather. I gave my curls a toss as I entered the club door, lightly swinging my basket of cookies. Then I flipped the switch to my airhead routine.

"Good afternoon, Miss Volturi," Gianna greeted me.

"Oh My Gosh, Gianna. It's totes good to see you. I love your dress. It, like, reminds of the ocean," I gushed.

"Oh, thank you." She brushed down the skirt, way too short for on the job if you asked me. Her underwear would show if she bent over, and that should only happen in a strip club, not a country club.

I smiled and started to continue on since I knew my way.

"Miss Volturi, can I help you with anything?" Her heels clicked on the tiles as she hurried to keep up with me.

"Nope. I literally know where my nonno is. But thanks." I blinked my eyes a few times for effect.

"He's in a meeting with Mr. Costa." She looked nervous.

"I totes know. Like, I brought snacks. My nonno is expecting me." I held up the basket.

She raised her penciled-in eyebrow. "He didn't say anything to me."

"Maybe that's because my grandmother says he's, like, getting sentinel," I said. I meant senile, but I found a few mixed-up words easily confused people, and it worked in my favor.

"Here, have a cookie. Totes low carb." I shoved one toward her before walking away.

It was a complete lie; I mean what was the point of low carb cookies? But I knew the bitch had been not only sucking off Nonno but Afton as well. She was hoping to become one of their goomahs. Not only greedy but gross if you ask me. My nonno was old, it had to be like sucking on a prune.

Over the years, I'd come to learn family wasn't always the one you were born into. For instance, my own was messed up and polar opposites. On one side, the crazy mafia, doing all sorts of illegal things and getting away with it. The other side was FBI driven. From an early age I was used as a pawn by my father and grandfather to get dirt on my other nonno. I was trained and given acting lessons, so my intentions never slipped. My mother was the one who suggested the bubbly airhead routine. No one would ever expect someone who was so dumb and clueless to be spying on them. I hated the role I was born into; however, I hated even more what the Costas were doing.

For me, the Masens, Cullens, and Hales were more my family than my own blood. Rosie was the sister I never had, and I loved her to pieces. She had been willing to put aside her own love for Emmett to try to keep me safe. It was more than what my own family would have ever done for me.

But what a mess that almost was. First, she tried to set me up with Edward. Long before I even knew Bella was in the picture. But it didn't take a genius to see how in love those two were, even at a young age. I liked Bella from the start. She was one of the few who treated me like normal and wasn't rolling her eyes at me when I made airhead remarks. It took me a long while to figure what Rosie and Tanya had against her. Rosie didn't confess to me until after their nasty break up. It was then I put the pieces together about her and Emmett too. That's when I knew I couldn't have had either of them.

Still, seeing them had made me always hope to one day have my own E or even J. Jasper wasn't too bad either, but he was taken the moment they brought home poor sweet Alice. The boys in this family fell in love hard. I'm not saying I approved of what they've been doing over the years, but their hearts had always been in the right place.

Now with Anthony Masen Jr. dead, and few others injured, it had to come to an end. My grandfather, Aro, had no other choice but not to use Masen and his family to his advantage anymore. Hopefully, today would be the start of the end of the Costa family.

I walked into the billiard room and tried not to cough and gag at the stench of cigars. I put on my biggest, brightest smile when a few of the men scowled in my direction.

"Heidi, what are you doing here?" Nonno frowned.

"Hi, Nonno," I said cheerfully. "I brought cookies. I totes made them myself. This time I, like, made sure to use the sugar and not the salt."

"That's nice, dear." He took a cookie from my basket.

"Mr. Costa?" I offered him one next.

He gave me a curt nod as he took one but set it in front of him. I moved on to the next few guys. When I reached Santiago, his dazed, bloodshot eyes stared at the cookies greedily.

"Mmmm, cookies." He grabbed three of them.

I giggled. "You, like, remind me of the blue monster from the kid's show, Telly," I said.

"It's Cookie Monster," a guy said condescendingly from across the table.

I blinked twice. "Right, the cookie monster named Telly or was it Elmo?"

"No—" He looked annoyed.

"Don't bother, it would be useless to explain it to her," the guy to his right said.

Pretending not to be insulted I shoved the basket their way. "Cookie?"

As they both took one, the one who tried to correct me squinted at it questionably. He turned it over in his hands and gave it a sniff.

"Are these Skittles?" he asked.

"Yuppers, I ran out of M&Ms, so I used Skittles, like, cause both are rainbow colors," I said.

He glanced at my grandfather, then placed it on the table. Santiago reached across and grabbed it. And just like clockwork, they forgot I was in here. I busied myself pretending to fix the flowers in the room, while I was really planting the microphone I had on me.

"Santiago, I want you to meet with Felix this weekend to pick up the shipment, and this time hands off sampling the product. You hear me?" Afton told him.

"But that's Garrett's job. Where is he anyways?" Santiago complained, looking around the room.

"The trader went to Chicago to meet with the Costello family and took a few of my men with him. My informer told me he was trying to take me out and take my place. He's been snuffed out with the other traders. Seems the boy couldn't get over losing a piece of pussy." Afton sneered.

There was a brief interlude, as there were grumbling and cursing amongst them as they discussed their next moves. One of which was moving the sale of the girls up by two weeks since they didn't trust that Garrett didn't tip off the feds. What stopped me short was when Bella was brought up.

"Are you talking about, like, Betty? Blue dress at the New Year's ball with a teddy bear necklace?" I asked.

"Heidi, dear, I thought you left." Nonno looked at me.

"I was taking the dead flowers off like Nonna taught me." I held up the wilted flowers for them to see.

"I think it is time for you to go." He gave me a pointed look.

"Yes, Nonno." As I went and kissed his cheek, I felt Afton's eyes on me.

"One moment, Heidi. You know Bella…Betty?" he asked.

"I think so. Is she the girl that likes to go to the gym to kick people and is studying how to teach people to walk again after they get hurt? Her stepdad is your nerdy accountant, and her real dad is, like, a chef that works mainly with forks." I blinked.

Somewhere in the room someone started to laugh at me, but I kept a straight face.

Afton's own lips twitched slightly, but it looked more like in annoyance. "That would be her."

"She asked for a ride, like, to the airport. She was, like, eloping with her boyfriend, Troy Bolton. Her dad wanted her to go to a plant school and his wanted him to play basketball for money. But she got totes preggo, so, like, they literally had to get married by Elvira in Las Vegas. But it's a huge secret, don't tell her stepdad." I put a finger to my lips.

"We won't tell him. Thank you for letting us know. Run along now." Nonno gave me a patient smile.

I skipped out of the room and waited for a moment. I used Bella's excuse she gave me in the mall. I had been so worried when she dropped off the grid that Garrett had her I almost slipped when I saw her. Thank God, she went to Edward and his family. I doubt any of those men knew what Highschool Musical was, and if they did, they probably thought I was the idiot.

"Do you think it's worth going after Bella Swan?" Nonno asked.

"No. Waste of manpower at the moment. We're already down eight men. We need our focus here and not chasing after a pregnant girl that ran away with her boyfriend. Philip is lucky I ended his life when I did or he would pay for lying to us about the girl too," Afton responded.

Pleased with this information, I went back to the hotel room. I entered and looked around with a frown. The only one there was one lone man, who was sitting so close his nose was almost touching the screen.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"They went in. We captured so much on tape that your dad thinks it's enough to nail them. And since all the big dogs were there, now was the time to strike," he said excitedly.

I tilted my head to the side and bit my lip. I chained the door and walked over to him. I would've put some wiggle into my hips, but he was entranced with the screen.

"Eric, help a girl, won't you?" I tapped him on the arm.

He tore his head away from the screen and looked up at me with a smile. "What do you need?"

I spun around and looked over my shoulder. "Unzip me, this dress is way too tight."

"Ahh…sure." His voice squeaked slightly.

I felt his fingers graze my skin as the zipper went down. I let the dress drop to my ankles—then nothing. I frowned and turned back around. His focus was back on the screen. I watched for a moment, then smirked. His eyes were subtly glancing at me every few seconds. The prominent bulge in his pants told me he was very well aware I was almost naked, but he was trying to be a gentleman about it.

"Do you want to watch it go down?" His voice was rough.

"I'll watch, but I think I'd rather have things go up." I sat on his lap and wiggled deliberately until I settled.

"Heidi, what are you doing?" The tips of his ears were turning pink.

"Getting, like, the best seat in the house." I batted my lashes at him and felt a twitch against my butt.

"Now?" His hand caressed my thigh as he looked around nervously.

"Why not? We're alone." I leaned in closer.

I kissed him hard. It had been a long day, and I had missed him. The tip of my tongue teased his bottom lip until he opened his mouth. While our tongues entwined, he squeezed my ass hard. I moaned into his mouth, then pulled back.

I smirked at his fogged-up glasses. I took them off and wiped them with my bra. He groaned, and I felt another twitch.

"Wow." He grinned.

I glanced at the screen. Knowing him, everything was being taped with a duplicate being saved as well. My boy was highly intelligent. Sitting surveillance over the last year with him, we grew close—very close. Whoever thought a bubblehead would fall for a nerd.

"I, like, totes missed you." I played with his tie.

"Baby, you got to stop talking like that, you know what it does to me," he said huskily.

"Know and feel." I giggled. "Come on, I don't need to watch. I'd rather celebrate. How about your favorite, the cheerleader thanking her tutor?" I kissed his neck.

"Lead the way." He grinned.

"Come on, E, let's go create our own happy ending." I grabbed him by the tie and led him to the bed.

A/N: I hope you found Heidi's pov fun to read. She was an amusing character to write. Up next is the Epilogue.
