Next day,Ash and silver are at the stadium for their battle
"This is a be three on three battle between silver from violet city and ash from pallet town.Substitutions are allowed.Now choose your pokemon"the referee announced.
"It will be my honour to battle the kanto champion,Go magby"silver sent out magby.
"Then I will also use a fire type,quilava I choose you"ash sent out quilava.
"folks seems like both have chosen fire types,its going to be a red hot battle"the announcer said among the cheers of the crowd.
"battle begin"the referee yelled.
Magby and quilava both started with flame thrower.Then magby used smokescreen while quilava cutted it through eruption.Then surprisingly both evolved into magmar and typhlosion much to their trainers delight.Magmar used its newly learnt fire blast while typhlosion used it's new move swift to counter.Then silver commanded magmar to finish with overheat while ash commanded gyro ball,then gyro ball clashed overheat and both pokemon were knocked out.Then ash used donphan while silver sent his starter feraligater.having the type advantage silver won the match.
Then ash held the master ball in his hand while the crowd was intrigued by the colour of the ball.But the group was tensed.
"This is not going to be good"gary said and the rest of the group nodded.
"here is my last pokemon,mewtwo I choose you"ash yelled throwing the master ball,mewtwo appeared in front of ash and took a battle stance.
"play time is over"ash said while the crowd was shocked.
"hey that is mewtwo" "now we definitely know how he defeated blue oak" "he really is the son of red" the crowd mumbled to each other.In the VIP box everyone had their jaws dropped except lance and mr goodshow.
Mewtwo defeated feraligater with thunder punch.Silver's last pokemon was beedrill which was easily knocked out by mewtwo.
"Ash ketchum wins the match"the announced yelled.
Ash and silver shook hands and went out of the stadium.Ethan and Harrison also passed the rounds
Next day,Ash easily won as his opponent only used fighting types so ash used pidgeot and beedrill and they helped ash win without breaking a sweat.Then the semi final match ups had been declared.Harrison was battling a girl from sinnoh while ash and ethan faced each other and this time it was full battle as ash had promised ethan that he will only use the pokemon he caught in johto so he selected-kabutops,heracross,meganium,fortress,noctowl and donphan.
Ash sent out noctowl while ethan sent out octillary but ash won the first round.Then they kept battling with each other without holding back.Their fifth pokemon had been knocked out at the same so it came to their last pokemon.Ash sent donphan while ethan sent his starter typhlosion.Even though they battled hard but ash managed to pull it off.
"good battle"they both said shaking hands and waved towards the crowd as they cheered for them.Harrison also won his match.So Ash and Harrison were facing each other in the final next day.
"well I guess this was inevitable"said harrison glaring at ash with determination.
"yeah no holding back" ash said and gave the same looks.
Next day the battle begin,harrison sent keclean while ash sent charizard much to others shock.
'Ash really respects Harrison'thought Gary.
While ash completely wiped out Harrison's first five pokemon with only charizard.Then harrison was determined to defeat ash's charizard(A/N ash had mega evolved charizard during battle with Harrison's steelix) and sent out his own starter blaziken.But blaziken was being hit by charizard's attacks and fell on the ground.
"Please,blaziken you have to wake up,WAKE UP"yelled harrison and as blaziken opened his eyes he stood up and its ability blaze activated.It defeated charizard with sky uppercut.
"..."the entire crowd was silent.
"Folks would you believe it ash ketchum's charizard that defeated blue oak's mega blastoise has been knocked out"the announcer yelled and crowd cheered for harrison.
Harrison smiled looking at his blaziken but it disappeared as blaziken fell on the ground unconscious with swirls in its eyes.
"blaziken is unable to battle,since all of Harrison's are knocked out the winner of this year's johto league silver conference is kanto champion Ash ketchum "said the referee.
Harrison did not say a word as he was going out of the stadium but ash came running to him.
"Thank you for giving me the most thrilling battle of my life harrison"ash said stretching out a hand.Harrison smiled and took it.
Then in the presentation ceremony Mr goodshow gave ash the trophy and jasmine ran towards him and kissed him on the cheek making him smile as well as the paparazzi as they got a good picture for their head lines.
Macy was looking at ash and jasmine with jealousy.
Ash's friends and family were looking at him with pride.
"so ash what are you going to do after the elite four challenge and where are you going next?"asked mr goodshow.
"We are going to hoenn where I will challenge the battle frontier,Gary will take on the league and as for leaf she will partake in the contest:"said ash and goodshow nodded.
Then they bid farewell to ethan,kris and Harrison while professor,Delia,Daisy and Tracey stayed to watch ash elite challenge.Professor elm also went back to new bark town.
