Chapter 10
Visitors Part 2
It was a little after noon when Nathan and Alisa were on top of her apartment building eating some berries. The sun was just past the center of the sky, not a cloud to be seen. It was beautiful day with a breeze blowing around them but the two dragons couldn't be concerned less about the weather
"So do you think they'll be back?" Alisa asked, her white feathers whisking in the wind.
"I doubt it, considering the zap I gave that one and the other two, they learned their lesson" Nathan said confidently.
Nathan immediately ate his words as a ball of purple energy hit him dead center in the chest sending him flying, Alisa charged up her tail and took off, flying up as she narrowly dodged another beam of ice.
As Nathan plummeted into the street below, Elena and a new Pokémon were waiting for him. It was a beefy, quadruped creature with a black, rounded forehead adorned with two sharp brown horns that curve forward. Its face was beige with orange eyes and short snout. On top of its head were several short spikes. Down its back we're two brown ridges that joined just past its shoulders. There were two orange protrusions on its shoulders. The bands around its legs were the same color as its face, and it had black hooves underneath these bands. Its striped underside was also beige. It had a short, stubby tail.
"Haven't seen you around here" Nathan admitted as he got to his feet.
"I'm Winston, and my boss needs you alive," Terrakion said in a thick British accent.
Winston charged forward with his horns glowing, Nathan held out his armored hands and stopped Winston dead in his tracks by grabbing the unsharpened back of his horns. A massive shockwave shattering nearby windows from their collision.
With a roar Nathan flipped him over like a steer wrangler, then he summoned electricity and knocked Elena out again.
He heard Alisa screaming and took off towards the sound of her voice. Just as he arrived at the Lincoln memorial a massive ball of rotating fire erupted into the sky, searing a blue, bird creature nearby.
As the icey bird fell to the ground, Nathan caught up to Alisa, breathing hard but otherwise unharmed.
"Seems like our training paid off" Alisa chuckled.
"I am surrounded by incompetence!" A voice in their minds said.
Alisa and Nathan looked up to see a slender, red and blue Pokémon with a purple gem in it's chest hovering above them.
"You're their boss?" Nathan asked.
"No, but I am his second in command, I am Alister Wells and I have had enough of this foolishness" the creature scoffed before his appearance changed. His legs remained tapered. However, its blue stripes were no longer segmented and ran the entire length of the leg and there was now a large spike on the knee. Two pairs of whip-like tentacles with pointed tips, one reddish-orange and one blue, replaced its previous coiled, blunted tentacles. The protrusions on its head were now triangular with an additional one extending from the top of its head. Most of its reddish-orange skin has receded, revealing a striated, black chest and abdomen.
Nathan and Alisa could only gasp as he summoned an orb of energy from each tentacle and fired rays of purple light at them.
The onslaught was unimaginably painful, as Nathan was seeing spots he focused on the air above them trying to generate a thundercloud, but he had far from mastered this power and concentration was impossible.
The assault finally relented as Alister stopped and said "had enough?"
"Yea, look above you!" Nathan taunted, he had managed to spawn a cloud and this opening was all he needed to use it. Alisa was too weak to move but he could still fight.
"Like I'm gonna fall for…" Alister was cut off as a blue bolt of lightning struck him from above.
"Target marked" Nathan thought as a massive pillar of blue lightning poured from the cloud above.
Alaister was completely consumed by the blue light but when it cleared Nathan's jaw dropped.
Alister has changed form again, this time he had bulky, wide legs that were somewhat flat at the end with a bluish-green spot on each knee. He retained two pairs of red and blue tentacles, but they were now flat and broad. His head had fused with his body and all protrusions were gone, causing it to resemble a helmet. The reddish-orange skin now covered the entire body, so none of its inner black portion was visible. There was now a single blue stripe on each shoulder.
"A valiant effort but to no avail" Alister taunted before shifting out of his defense form into his speed form. This form had a sleek black body with thin striation. The reddish-orange skin now covered only his head, hip joints, and the area around his crystal chest. There was now only one tentacle on each side of his body, one red and one blue. The protrusions on its head now point upward and the back of its head now forms a long spike. There was a long, thick blue stripe running down the center of this longer protrusion. More blue stripes appear on either hip joint and on its legs.
Alister rushed forward at an obscene speed and smacked Nathan with one of tentacles sending him flying across the city. Nathan was helped as he smashed straight through a hotel, leaving a massive hole through the building.
Before he could even hope of recovering, Alastair appeared behind him and smacked him again. After another hole through the building he was over the national mall again, Alister rushed ahead of him and smacked him straight down. In less than 10 seconds Alister had launched him halfway across DC and back.
As Nathan saw the massive crater he was in Alister floated down condescendingly and said "Serve or die"
Nathan spat the blood out of his mouth, which was electric blue and said "go to hell"
"Idiot, you had no chance against someone with more control out of their powers. Raw strength is nothing if you don't know how to use it" Alister ridiculed him.
"I couldn't agree more," a new voice said.
Nathan and Alister looked in the direction of the voice to see a disk of green light, almost like a hole in the air hovering just above the ground.
Out of the portal came something unbelievable to both of them, a human, wearing a white coat and black pants. His hair was blonde and he had a cane that looked like it was forged from a single piece of metal with a gemstone on the top of the handle. His eyes showed only focus and knowledge despite their blood-red coloration.
"Who are you!" Alister demanded.
The human scowled and replied, "My name is professor Connor Malcolm, and I am here to stop you!"
Author's note- Sorry about the long delay, but it's time to face facts, I've lost all intrest in writing this story, so it'll just be incomplete and feed into my other stories like it was always going to...this was the last chapter I wrote so it deserved to be posted.
Nathan and Alisa will appear eventually, most likely in RWBY Distortion.
