As all of the students were lined up for training Ms Orimura says " As always those with personal units will help out other students. Shinonono as of today your personal ".
Before she could finish a purple haired girl with a maid outfit, robotic ears slide down the mountain.
She shouts " I missed you Chi Chan".
Before the woman could come on for a hug , Chifuyu grabbed the strange woman by the skull.
As this was happening Charlotte asked Wyatt " So did you like Kait's present".
While trying to play dumb Wyatt says " What present are you speaking about "?
Charlotte jabs Wyatt in the ribs and says " Stop playing dumb , did you enjoy it or not".
Wyatt chuckles and says " Guess I can't hide anything from you".
Charlotte says " Stop dancing around the question and answer it".
Wyatt says " It actually tasted good , and I'm thankful she took the time to make me something ".
Charlotte says " Then when are you going to tell her how you feel".
Wyatt smirks and responds " That's what I'm still trying to figure out".
Charlotte says " It's the obvious she likes you and even if you hide it , you like her too. So just tell her".
Wyatt says " You might wear a skirt now , but you're still a bro Dunios ".
Charlotte sighs and says " I know you're trying to be kind but with how you phrase it , it makes me sound like a pervert".
Before the two could continue talking , the women asked " You , Walter activate your IS".
Confused Wyatt pointed towards himself and asked " Um do you mean me ".
She says " Of course other than Ichika you're the only guy here".
Wyatt says " Okay but ma'am , my name isn't Walter , it's Wyatt".
The woman replies " Whatever you say Wally , just show me your unit".
Somewhat agitated, Wyatt asks " Okay does anyone know who this woman is"?
Ms Orimura says " Danforth have you not paid attention to what's been happening for the last couple of minutes ".
Wyatt stands at attention while saluting and says " No ma'am , I'm completely lost ".
Ms Orimura says " Our guest is Tabane Shinonono".
Wyatt says " Wait the same Tabane that created the IS and the one that Dr Maxwell wants to beat with a crowbar".
After a slight pause , Chifuyu answers " Yep the very same".
Wyatt says " Wow , well just let me say thanks for giving me my unit. It helped me a lot these past few months".
Tabane says " It's no problem, I was surprised to discover there was another guy that could use the IS".
Wyatt asks " By the way I'm kinda of curious, do you know why guys like me and Ichika can use the IS".
Tabane thinks for several moments and says " No idea , guess you two might just be lucky or you have the right DNA structure ".
Before she could finish , Ms Yamada whispered something to Chifuyu.
Chifuyu shouts " Attention,today's testing is cancelled for today. Those without a personal unit , return to the resort and remain until standby".
Several hours passed as Wyatt and the rest of the cadets were looking at a montior with Ichika and Houki deployed in their IS.
What seemed to be a simple mission to take down a rouge IS unit became more complex as Ichika was gunned down.
As Wyatt looked at Ichika's unconscious body he thought " Damn it , I should've been with him".
Chifuyu says " The operation was a failure , standby until the situation changed".
Before everyone knew it , Wyatt deployed his unit and flew to the sky attempting to catch up with the rouge unit.
Right as Wyatt was able to see the unit , he started firing from his shotgun. But it deflected each shot with its blade.
Wyatt switched his gun for his spear and shouts " I won't lose you A.I bastard".
Right before he could pierce the unit, Wyatt was blasted out of the sky by a laser beam.As the light enveloped him while his shield energy hit zero , he thought " Damn it , I couldn't do a thing ".
While Wyatt was descending from the sky he noticed he stopped in midair and heard Kaitlynn say " You're still as reckless as ever".
Wyatt tries to responds but notices his vision began to faded and his thoughts seemingly becoming blank.
Right as Wyatt woke up he thought " Shit , what happened and why am I back at the resort".
As the American got out of the bed , he noticed he was even changed into a kimono.
Wyatt leaves the room and wonders around the building to see Ichika by the vending machine.
Ichika passes a soda to Wyatt and says" Looks like someone is finally awake ".
Wyatt says " Same for you , do you know what happened ".
Ichika says " Right after you were shot down, the girls arrived. Then I came a bit later to help finish the job".
Wyatt says " Nice ,to celebrate why don't we take a soak in the hot springs".
Ichika says " Sure thing , beside it's our last day here ".
Surprised Wyatt says " Seriously I've been out for a whole day".
Ichika races back to the room says " Yeah so let's hurry before they close ".
Wyatt goes after him and says " Don't worry I'm right behind you".
Special Story II -
Several nights after the field trip have pasted and as Ichika was deep asleep he felt something shaking him.
As Ichika opened his eyes he saw his roommate full dressed whispering" Come on man we got to hurry up".
Ichika checks a clock and says " Dude it's pasted midnight, what do you want ".
Wyatt says " It's a surprise, just hurry and get dressed ".
While Wyatt pulled his roommate out of bed , Ichika was putting on his uniform.
The two snuck out of their room as Ichika thought " I wonder what this surprise is about".?
Wyatt continued to lead the way as the two males ended up standing in the middle of battle arena 6 and saw the sky filled with stars up ahead.
Ichika asked " Dude we can get in trouble if a staff member finds out".
Wyatt says " Don't worry I got permission from both the president and Dr Maxwell".
Ichika says " Alright but can I ask why we're here. Did you want to go star gazing ".
Wyatt says " Nope this isn't a star gazing trip , we're here to finally settle the score".
Ichika surprised says " Come on man , we definitely could've waited until the next tournament ".
Wyatt says " True but I wanted our first true match to be something that only belongs to us".
Ichika says " I get what you mean , No distractions or anyone to stop us. Just a battle between two men giving it their all".
Wyatt says "Exactly, I even had the doc even temporarily shut the camera's off. So only the two of us will know how this battle will go down ".
Ichika says as he deploys his IS" Ever since day one , it seemed something stopped us from having an actual match ".
Wyatt also deploys his unit and responds " But nothing will stop this fight with only stars as our audience ".
In that moment the two charge at each other to begin the first male only battle.
