"Those rangers are really getting on my nerves!" Scarlie said. She was looking through her book to try and find a monster that can actually defeat the rangers, but she wasn't coming up with anything. "I can't find a decent monster that could actually destroy them!"
"You can't really blame them. Throughout history, rangers have remained undefeated." Zabaro said.
"Shut up! That's not helping!" Scarlie shouted.
"There must be some way we can defeat the rangers." Vyla said as she tried to think. "There just has to be something we're not seeing."
"Well, when you think of something, let me know!" Scarlie shouted. "What I wouldn't give to give those rangers a taste of their own medicine." When Zabaro heard that, it began to give him an idea.
"Wait. Maybe that's the answer." Zabaro said. "We fight with an equal power as to the rangers. We could fight fire with fire."
"What?!" Scarlie said.
"I know of these charms that could give our golems the same power and abilities as the rangers." Zabaro said. "If we want to defeat a ranger, we might need another ranger. Rangers of evil and darkness." Scarlie thought it over and it just might work.
"How come you never told me about this before?! Dummy!" Scarlie shouted as he whacked him on the head with her staff. "Get those charms and get my golems ready! The rangers will literally meet their match!"

Angel Grove High
Classes ended again with the students leaving. Valerie went over to her locker and her brother met up with her.
"Hey, sis. How was class?" David asked.
"Fine." Valerie said. "It actually gave me some ideas for our ranger responsibilities. I was thinking that if we recalibrate our weapons, we could make them more efficient and more powerful."
"Why do that? Our weapons have been doing well as they are." David said. "We've won every battle and everything has been going well."
"Perhaps, but we can't bet on that all the time. There might come a time when we come up against something we could have trouble with." Valerie said.
"Val, we're doing fine as we are. Don't worry about it." David said. "How about you and I hit the Youth Center after school? You should just chill out and have some fun." Valerie would figure David would be like this, but she just went with it instead of arguing with him.

The Beach
Zabaro's plan might actually work, but to ensure that it does, the golems need to be able to hold their own in a fight. So Vyla took a team down to the beach and they were actually training to get stronger, faster, and better. As she supervised the training, she saw Zabaro arrived with the charms he talked about that looked similar to the rangers morphers.
"Is that them?" Vyla questioned.
"They are. Are the golems ready?" Zabaro said.
"I believe so." Vyla said.
"Excellent." Zabaro said as he walked over to them and gave six of the golems the charms.
"One question." Vyla said. "Why are there six golems when there are seven rangers?"
"Because I will take it upon myself to act as the leader of this team of evil rangers." Zabaro said. "I will be the one to take on Red Ranger. None of them are worthy enough."
"Are you serious? You're still going after Red?" Vyla said.
"A real warrior like myself should be the leader. Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Zabaro said.
"Very well. Only because you'll be the one to blame if this fails and not me." Vyla said.
"Whatever." Zabaro said and turned to the golems "Now! Morph like the rangers and take your new powers!" The golems used the charms just like morphers and it caused them to morph into evil rangers, copies of the rangers except for red. "Splendid. It worked."
"Zabaro!" They turned around and they were both surprised to see Scarlie there in person.
"Lady Scarlie? What are you doing here?" Zabaro asked.
"I just had to come down and see this in person." Scarlie said. She took a look at her evil rangers and she actually loved seeing it. "I like it. I like it, but let's see how they do in battle. I just saw little David and Valerie on their own. Send their counterparts to attack."
"As you wish." Zabaro said as an all-out ranger battle is about to begin.

David and Valerie
"So what are you in the mood for?" David said as the two of them were on their way to the Youth Center.
"Probably just a smoothie. Got to keep the brain power going." Valerie said. The two of them kept walking until Valerie spotted something strange and alerted David. "Whoa! What is this?"
"I don't know." David said as they were faced with their evil ranger twins and those two looked ready for a fight.
"Should we morph?" Valerie asked.
"Not yet. Let's see what their deal is." David said as he stepped to the side with his evil clone following.
"What's the matter, David? Something look familiar?" Evil White said. David charged right at him and jumped to try and kick him, but his clone rolled under the attack. David tried a few other attacks, but each one was blocked. Valerie moved carefully with her. Her clone tried attacking her a few times with Valerie just barely missing. Valerie tried kicking her, but it was blocked.
"It's almost like fighting a mirror, huh?" Evil Green said. David tried swinging his leg at him again, but his clone caught it and kicked David back.
"You'll have to do better than that." Evil White said. He gave David a powerful kick and knocked him to the ground. Valerie tried to hit her clone again, but she dodged her and hit Valerie pretty hard as she rolled over to David. "This is just the start."
"We'll be back." Evil Green said as they both pulled out.
"I can't believe it. Scarlie has created evil power rangers." Valerie said.
"And they're every bit as strong as we are. We better let the others know what's going on." David said. The rangers might be in real trouble with this one.

The Command Center
Valerie and David alerted the others on what was going on. Once they did, they all regrouped and were trying to see this with their own eyes.
"Anything Gamma?" Zultro questioned.
"Yes, Zultro. There they are." Gamma said. He pulled up fee of the evil rangers on the screen and the rangers couldn't believe what they were seeing.
"There really is evil clone rangers." Sierra said.
"You mean there's a golem going around pretending to be me?! I'm one of a kind!" Robby said as he took great offense to this. "zultro, how is this even possible?"
"It would seem Scarlie has found something that allows her golems to morph and use powers and abilities similar to each one of you." Zultro said.
"Zultro, how come there isn't an evil red ranger?" Travis asked.
"Zabaro has taken it upon himself to assume the role as leader." Zultro said. "I suppose he would still like to settle the score with you."
"So what are we going to do?" Joey asked.
"That's easy. We take them down." Abby said.
"I've got them! They're down by the sea!" Gamma said.
"Rangers, you must be careful." Zultro said. "Not only do these evil rangers look like you, but they are just as strong as each one of you are. You must be careful." When Zultro said that, it gave Valerie and idea that might help.
"Wait. You guys go without me." Valerie said. "I need to work on something. If I'm right, it might help us out against these guys."
"I'll stay with her and help her out." David said.
"Okay. We'll take the fight to them." Travis said as the original five stepped forward to this fight. "It's morphin time!"
"Black Ankylosaur!"
"Pink Pterodactyl!"
"Blue Triceratops!"
"Yellow Parasaur!"
"Red Tyrannosaurus!"

The Beach
Once the five of them morphed, they headed over to the beach. Once they got there, they were faced with Zabaro and a small team of golems that were just waiting for them.
"Rangers! I'm glad you could make it!" Zabaro said.
"We know what's been going on, Zabaro. You're finished and so are your team of fake rangers." Travis said.
"We'll see about that. Now morphin time is on our side!" Zabaro said. The golems reached for their charms and morphed into the clones of the other four rangers. "You rangers have finally met your match!"
"I'm here for you, Blue!"
"Yellow, I'm after you too!"
"Nice to meet you, Black!"
"Pink, you better watch your back!" The five of them couldn't believe they were actually facing their own counterparts like this.
"You guys might look like us, but that's not enough." Sierra said.
"Let's find out. Attack!" Zabaro said as the five of them each took on a ranger. Travis fought Zabaro and the others fought their own counterparts. Travis and Zabaro clashed swords together, but Zabaro kicked him back. He tried attacking, but Travis moved away and slashed against him. Joey tried fighting his own counterpart, but each one of their attacks was blocked by the other until the clone caught his arm and tossed him to the ground. Robby tried fighting against his evil twin. His leg was caught and tossed back, but Robby regained his balance and spin kicked his copy. Abby and her clone leaped at each other and tried kicking the other, but they collided and knocked each other down with them continuing on the ground. Sierra and her copy tried flipped at each other. She tried chopping her clone, but was caught and tossed to the ground. Her clone tried stomping at her, but Sierra rolled out of the way. At the rate this is going, the rangers better figure something out or this will never end.

The Command Center
While the rangers were fighting, Valerie was doing her best to form her plan against the evil rangers. As she and Gamma were at work, David was watching the others and could see it's not going well.
"They're holding their own, but I'm not sure how long they can keep this up." David said. "Val, what are you even working on?"
"I should be done soon, but I'm going to need the others for this as well." Valerie said.
"You two better get going and help the others." Gamma said. "Zultro and I can speed things along here and be ready when you get back."
"Thanks, Gamma." David said as the two of them stepped in. "It's morphin time!"
"White Spinosaur!"
"Green Plesiosaur!"

The Beach
Travis was in trouble as Zabaro slashed against him and knocked him to the ground. Just as he was about to go and finish him, David and Valerie arrived and kicked him back.
"You okay, Travis?" David asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." Travis said.
"Green Ranger and White Ranger! I got two people you like to meet." Zabaro said as their own evil clones arrived. David and Valerie tried to fight the two of them off as well, but they were just as tough as when they fought earlier. David tried hitting his clone, but his clone kicked him back. Valerie's clone grabbed her and tossed her over to the others. Both teams regrouped and stood off against each other. "Assemble Evil Power Blaster!"
"What?!" Travis said.
"They have a power blaster?" Sierra said. Each of the evil rangers had weapons that looked like actual weapons. They brought them together with Zabaro's sword to form an evil version of the Neo Power Blaster. They fired it and caused a great explosion against the rangers.
"Guys, we can't win like this." Valerie said. "We need to pull out. I have an idea that might help us."
"I guess you're right. We'll be back, Zabaro." Travis said as they all teleported out of there.
...
The Command Center
The rangers teleported back to their base. They were glad they got out of there, but not sure on what to do.
"Are you all okay?" Gamma asked.
"Barely. Who knew golems could be tough?" Joey said.
"They know all our moves and we can't seem to outmaneuver them." Abby said.
"Valerie, you said you had some sort of idea or such that might be able to help us?" Robby asked.
"Yeah. Gamma, how is it?" Valerie asked.
"We're ready to go." Gamma said.
"I see where you're going with this Valerie and it just might work." Zultro said.
"What are you talking about?" David asked.
"What I was telling you earlier." Valerie said. "Those evil rangers are just like us. When two equal forces clash against each other, they cancel each other, but even the smallest change in power could help. I was working on recalibrating our weapons to give them more power, even if it's just a little. We just need to get even the slightest edge over these guys."
"That way, we can turn the tide in our favor. That just might work." Travis said.
"What do you need, Val?" Joey asked.
"Just your weapons. This shouldn't take long." Valerie said.
"Hurry, Valerie. Zabaro will be on the attack soon." Zultro said.

Zabaro
"Come!" Zabaro said as he and his team of rangers were moving out. "We'll take our power to Angel Grove and destroy the city! The rangers with it!" The six of them cheered at the thought of that.
"I don't think so." Zabaro looked up and saw the rangers back with their weapons ready. "You're not going anywhere."
"Let's do it!" Valerie said as they all jumped down and resumed this fight. Travis and Zabaro continued their sword fight again. They had their swords pressed against each other and slashed against each other. David's clone slashed him with his weapon, but David blocked his next attack and slashed against him. Valerie's clone tried using a dagger against her, but Valerie knocked it out of the way and slashed against her. Joey and his clone had their daggers against each other, but Joey pushed through and was able to strike him down. Robby and his clone smashed their shields against each other, but Robby scored a hit that knocked his clone down and smashed it against him again. Abby flipped back as her clone flipped forward. Her clone tried to strike her, but Abby blocked it and was able to land a strike against her. Sierra and her clone shot an arrow at each other and hit each other, but Sierra's clone took it harder.
"Assemble Evil Power Blaster!" Zabaro ordered as the two teams regrouped.
"We have a NEO Power Blaster!" Sierra said.
"You rangers are done for this time!" Zabaro said.
"We'll see about that." Travis said. Both sides formed their blaster and aimed it right at each other.
"Fire!" Both sides fired and energy blasts collided, but the rangers were able to push through more and hit Zabaro's team. Zabaro was blown back from the explosion, but the rest of the fake rangers ended up being destroyed.
"You were saying, Zabaro?" Travis said.
"This isn't over yet." Zabaro said as he retreated and only the real rangers remained.

Scarlie's Palace
"Dummies! Dummies!" Scarlie said as she kept whacking her minions around. "Why is it you can never come up with an idea that could actually work?"
"Why are you hitting me? Zabaro messed up?" Vyla said.
"Because I can!" Scarlie said as she was not handling this loss well. She tried fighting fire with fire and she ended up getting burned.

The Youth Center
Now that the fake rangers are done for, the rangers got back on track with their regular days. Valerie was enjoying a smoothie as she did some work and that was right when her brother came over.
"Hey, sis." David said.
"Hey. What's up?" Valerie said.
"I just wanted to say nice work." David said. "You're bright idea really helped us out."
"Just trying to do my part." Valerie said.
"Yeah, but your part ended up being a big one as it really saved us." David said. "I guess we could use some improvement."
"Yeah. Some more than usual." Valerie said.
"Huh?" David said as he didn't get it.
"Nothing." Valerie said and David just went with it. The truth of the matter was that Valerie still thinks this is all she can do. Her evil twin did a better job than she did because she still has confidence issues. Valerie is starting to wonder if that's all she really can do as a ranger.
