Four days later as they were getting comfortable with the new routine two things happened simultaneously the first thing was Sakura tripping uncharacteristically upon arriving in the mess hall "Ooh that sounded painful, are you alright Sakura-san" Itachi winced.
Hearing the loud crack that echoed through the room "Yeah I'm okay it's only a broken nose" Sakura sat up a second later, snapping her nose back into place and pressing a glowing green palm to her face to heal the bone.
Mifune who'd also seen the accident let his brows raise into his hairline "So you gonna tell us what caused you to trip like that cause I know you Sakura, your never, or rarely clumsy" Karin questioned in a concerned tone of voice.
"Remember when we left, I made a clone to keep an eye on the house and Nawaki, well that was the result of my clone being dispelled and it's memories from the last week unexpectedly slamming into me" Sakura explained.
Itachi bit back a chuckle, then a second later realized that it was not a laughing matter, Tsunade's brother was possibly in danger "Is Nawaki okay Sakura" Haku caught on just as fast with a worried frown, thankfully Sakura nodded to his relief.
Then elaborated at Fugaku's raised eyebrow "Apparently my clone startled Tsunade-sama who must have been found and she punched it out" Sakura shrugged, at least Nawaki wasn't alone now so she didn't have to worry as much for the remaining five days they had in Iron.
Karin relaxed completely at that only to feel a familiar chakra enter her sensory range and freeze "Now what" Fugaku frowned, wondering if this was some kind of omen that something bad was about to happen.
She fidgeted and cast Sakura indiscernible glance "Uh not to alarm anyone but the Raikage is five miles out and moving towards here very quickly" Karin informed, Sakura squirmed in place at the news looking as if she was about to run out to greet the man.
But Sakura forced herself to remain seated until Fugaku tilted his head in such a way giving her permission "Okisuke escort them" Mifune ordered, and one of his right hand subordinates hurried after both kunoichi.
Neither of whom bothered grabbing their cloaks, they'd simply rushed out the doors into the freezing cold, Urakaku shook his head as his partner sped past and into the frozen tundra that was their country on the heels of those girls.
So imagine Ay's surprise after Cee had abruptly paused and then told him that they had incoming with an infuriating smile on his face until he felt them for himself "What the hell are those brats doing so far into Iron" Ay growled.
Darui gave a start "The Kids, their here" Darui cast out his own senses, not that he had any time because Sakura and Karin skidded to a halt in front of them a couple minutes later "Kids" Darui waved when the two just stared.
Before Sakura shook off her shock "Raikage-sama, Darui-san, Cee-sensei what brings you this way" Sakura questioned, flaring her chakra to keep warm, Ay narrowed his eyes at her better chakra control.
Then shot that question back at her "The same could be asked of you brats why are you in Iron" Ay scowled, stomping closer to look the brats over better just to assure himself that they were doing alright in Leaf.
"Ah well about that….Sakura is Mifune-dono's great grandniece and by extension me to" Karin chimed in, wanting really badly in that moment to hug the man and her sensei, Darui even but patience was key.
Cee spluttered "Karin-ojou speaks the truth Raikage-dono" Okisuke skid to a halt moments later, shooting the girls in his care a scolding look, Karin grinned sheepishly while Sakura actually apologized despite having had permission.
At the very least they could have grabbed their cloaks before leaving "You have family" Cee smiled, happy for his former students, they probably wouldn't need him by the time their three years in Konohagakure was up.
"Mhm Cee-sensei and it would be my honor to escort you Raikage-sama to Mifune-dono so that you may speak with him about the reason that brought you here" Sakura bowed formally in a way that was acceptable.
Since she couldn't bow lower to him than she did the Hokage because she was a Leaf shinobi right now "Lead on then brats" Ay barked, pleased to see that they were still obedient towards him mostly as Sakura turned and blazed a trail through the snow for them.
What with her chakra melting a literal path as she flared it out and over them so they would stay warm "By the way what are you wearing" Darui asked, seeing the kunoichi's current attire and it looked pretty weird if he was being honest.
"Formal female samurai training clothes Darui-san this is a kataginu and these are hakama, Mifune-dono is teaching us kenjutsu the samurai way" Karin explained politely a slight edge to her tone as well.
Indicating that any insult to the outfit would be met with possible violence "They suit you Karin, Sakura and I'm sure your being excellent students for the Head Samurai correct" Cee cocked a brow and got nods from both girls.
"Not just them, their teammate as well, who remains sore isn't that right Sakura-ojou" Okisuke chimed in, Cee looked worried while Ay seemed outright angered by the admission and Sakura she just smiled and nodded.
Prompting Ay to reevaluate his possible unwarranted anger "And this teammate of yours is someone that you can get along with and work together with right brats" Ay questioned carefully seeing no sense in upsetting them if they were happy.
Karin was the one to nod this time "Haku's amazing, Raikage-sama and he fits right in on our team like he belongs there for some reason" Karin exclaimed, tugging a small smile out of Ay who covered his moment of softness up with a glare.
Giggling erupted from Sakura who had seen his smile but was clearly not intimidated by his glare just as they reached the building and the doors opened to reveal Mifune waiting "Raikage-dono I've been awaiting your arrival" Mifune bowed lightly.
Motioning for Ay to follow him "And Sakura if you would, please show Raikage-dono's escorts to the guest area and mess hall" Mifune requested, rapidly disappearing down the hall, with a muttered cheeky brat from Ay, the Raikage was gone from sight a second later to.
So Sakura did as asked "These are the rooms set aside for guests, your welcome to any one of them" Sakura waved her hand at the many doors that lined either side of the hallway, Karin at her side like she'd always been.
Cee smiled lightly "It's good to see you again Sakura, Karin" Cee admitted, allowing his softer side to show as he reached out and ruffled their hair gently, of course neither girl was satisfied with just that as they practically tackled him for a hug.
Darui's chuckling got him the same treatment "Yeah Kids, good to see you and I'm sure there is plenty you want to tell us about that doesn't make it into your letters but you'll have to wait a few minutes for us to take off our packs" Darui said.
Vanishing into a room, Cee on his heels, twenty minutes later they were ready and following Sakura and Karin down to the mess hall where they met Haku and Itachi but Fugaku was no where in sight.
Speaking of the Uchiha Clan Head, he was currently in a room discussing a potential treaty between Leaf and Cloud on her and Karin's behalf "Heh so you've seen their worth as well haven't you Uchiha" Ay smirked.
Not wholly surprised that someone of such high-standing had taken such an interest in those brats "Lets face it Raikage, you know and I know that those girls will never conform and stay in Leaf at the end of the three years it's better to be allies than enemies then don't you think" Fugaku stated.
Ay let a truly terrifying smile cross his lips "Of course I'm not stupid, those brats have been taking care of themselves for years now, their cautious to a fault and I knew the minute Hokage suggested he be allowed to convince them to stay they would never fall for it" Ay snorted.
Fugaku realizing that this presented him with an opportunity to ask questions neither Sakura or Karin could answer for him "If their so hard to convince how did you get them to stay in Kumogakure for four years and even become shinobi" Fugaku questioned.
"I didn't convince them, they chose on their own, see that's the difference, I didn't force those brats it was their decision, I merely made slight adjustments to accommodate them and the rest was on the brats" Ay informed smugly.
An answer Fugaku had probably already worked out most likely "You lent them one of your personal bodyguards why" Fugaku asked the next question, wanting to find out how much exactly the Raikage cared for the girls.
Obsidian orbs narrowed "Because I care alright, I got softened up by those brats and I wanted to make sure they succeeded, I knew Cee would be the one to make that happen" Ay growled, getting slightly irritated by the questions.
Sensing this Fugaku asked one last question figuring he'd gotten enough information for the time being "And how long has Sakura been afraid of ninken or any canine for that matter" Fugaku inquired carefully.
The Raikage furrowed his brow "What since when was the brat…ah makes sense, there's a greyhound named Shun that I was having genin chase and try to capture, Shun tried to take a bite out of the pink haired brat so not long I'm guessing" Ay announced.
With that they moved on to configuring the details of the treaty "That ought to do it for today" Fugaku said three hours later near lunch time, glad that the Raikage wasn't arguing to much or wanting to much from Leaf.
Upon those words Ay stood and exited the room, heading for Cee's chakra who was in the dining all with Darui, Karin, Sakura and two others "How did things go" Itachi questioned when his Father took a seat at the table.
"Slowly but I believe we'll reach an agreement before we leave here" Fugaku stated simply, watching how the kunoichi interacted with the Raikage all throughout lunch and to him it did seem as if they truly respected the man.
The minute lunch ended however Mifune approached "Considering I let you skip on this morning session it is time for your lesson Sakura, Karin and Haku so lets move shall we" Mifune cleared his throat.
Reminding both of his great grandniece's though one was adopted and their teammate that they had training "Forgive us Mifune-dono it won't happen again" Haku bowed his head in apology, already on his feet and a moment later all four were gone from the mess hall.
Darui blew out a breath "Lucky Kids it would be kinda cool to learn sword techniques from the samurai" Darui commented, looking utterly bored that Itachi almost mistook the man for a Nara with how lazy he looked in that moment.
Itachi knew better however "So that boy, he was their teammate huh and how exactly did he get put on their team when I explicitly said that the brats would be a duo team" Ay grunted, unhappy not that he'd let those brats see it.
Until Itachi raised his hands "For awhile it was just the two of them, Haku-san is a recent addition, he's only been on Team Thirteen for a week now, and they all work well together" Itachi assured quickly.
Pale brows shot upwards "Is that the number they were assigned in Leaf" Cee questioned, finding it ironic that the girls still had the same number that they'd had back in Kumogakure and he wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh or cringe.
"That's what Sakura and Karin decided on actually, from the minute they became a duo team, Thirteen was their team number of choice, why" Fugaku informed, finding the blondes question somewhat strange.
Ay rolled his eyes "Because it was their team number in Kumogakure and I'm sure even if someone asked they'd give you a so complicated of an answer that you'd just be more confused than when they explained" the Raikage scoffed.
Everyone unfortunately agreed with him as the five of them sat there for the next four hours until it was dinnertime, only then did Mifune return with Sakura, Karin and Haku padding after him, though Haku was definitely suffering from soreness.
As he walked a bit slower than the girls and upon reaching the table Mifune left them as Haku slumped onto a bench "We keep telling you Haku to do some stretches before training otherwise you'll just keep suffering like that" Sakura scolded.
Haku let out a long suffering sigh "Couldn't you heal me" Haku asked hopefully, knowing the answer to that question already and instantly had his hopes dashed when Karin and Sakura shook their heads.
"Healing you would defeat the purpose of all that training Haku, your muscles have to build up tolerance and that won't happen if we heal you….but I bet Sakura could come up with an ointment that would numb the ache for a bit" Karin reminded.
Before thinking of something interesting, Sakura blinked at her for a moment then whipped out a pencil and some paper and began scribbling furiously on it "Still making ointments to sell I see" Cee commented.
When Sakura unsealed a variety of herbs and picked out what were possibly the best ones to have in her new ointment and sealed the rest away "Huh what….do you not know, what did the last letter you got from me say" Sakura looked up at the statement.
Confusion on her face, Cee frowned in response "You said that you were off on a mission of some sort and that's it because you two only write to me once a month" Cee snorted, remembering that, that's what he'd asked them to do.
"Oh…well Sakura and I, plus Haku started the Fragrant Blossom Trading Company, it's a revival of her parents company the Haruno Trading Company and Sakura makes more than just ointments" Karin chimed in.
Cee, Darui and Ay straightened "Did you now and what all are you selling" Ay prodded in an incredulous sounding tone, not use to being left out of things where the brats were concerned probably since he'd been looking after them for four years until the past couple of months.
Sakura nudged Haku first who concentrated and made a throwing needle out of ice, followed by a shuriken "The shuriken is new but they'll be added to the shelves of the weapons shop we made a deal with when we return to Leaf" Haku explained.
Dark eyes stared at him intensely before turning to Karin "Perfumes and poison sprays, though Haku also intends on learning how to make jerky out of all kinds of meat from Sakura-chan to and I really want to find something else I can make to soon" Karin grinned.
Last Ay returned his attention onto Sakura "Medical kits, though I just thought of a couple knew items to put into them, this numbing ointment and fever reducer and later on I'll be making clothes and you could also make homemade extracts Karin-chan" Sakura suggested.
Karin wanted to throw her hands into the air in frustration "This is not some random idea is it Kids, you really thought that out didn't you" Darui noted, inwardly thinking that if anyone could create a successful business it was Sakura and Karin.
"By the way you never mentioned if you two were working at the hospital in Leaf" Cee chimed in, Sakura and Karin froze guiltily "You haven't been" Cee frowned and got elbowed by Darui "Not that it's my business since I'm not your sensei anymore" Cee assured.
Sakura bit her lip "It's not that we haven't wanted to, when we put in the application to volunteer our time they rejected it and told us they were perfectly capable of handling the hospital without accepting inexperienced genin into their hospital" Sakura admitted.
Shooting a look at Fugaku "Sounds about right but if Tsunade is back in Leaf, I'm sure that the hospital will be receiving a major overhaul by the woman who won't tolerate any kind of slacking or half-assing as she would call it in her hospital" Fugaku mused aloud.
"The Slug Princess is back in Konohagakure" Ay interjected, having intended on keeping silent for the time being so that he could glean more information without asking a bunch of questions, brats talked a lot after all.
Next to him Itachi nodded "Just returned today to be precise, how we know is because of Sakura-san, she apparently left a shadow clone to watch after her house and Tsunade-sama's little brother Nawaki who mysteriously returned to live and Tsunade-sama destroyed it" Itachi said.
With that said they focused on eating rather than chatting and soon dispersed in different directions, though Ay was surprised to find out that Mifune had prepared special rooms for the brats on the other side of the building.
The next morning Sakura handed Haku a petri dish "Fast as ever huh Sakura, if you hadn't told me already I would probably be asking how it is you know how to make things like this but I'm not and am just going to say thank you for now" Haku stated.
Giving a little bow of his head and after breakfast as he was preparing to rub some ointment on his muscles "No lessons today, instead we'll be taking your measurements to outfit you with your own sets of armor, unless you'd prefer to partake later after lunch" Mifune informed.
Raising a gray brow when Sakura sulked at the news but perked up at the second half of his declaration, "Honestly, do they ever take a break" Darui rubbed his temples, feeling a headache beginning to form.
And sympathizing with his partners plight Cee healed him "As for your question hardly, their always pushing themselves to get better and I can't recall a day they simply relaxed" Itachi chimed in.
Since he'd been watching nearly every single one of their training sessions, though he didn't know what the girls had done while off on that accidental A rank mission, "It's how they are, if their not doing something they feel restless" Ay snorted.
"Though for the longest of time Sakura and Karin didn't trust anybody but themselves, in fact I know it took about three months before they even made a friend in Cloud because they kept to themselves mostly" Cee admitted.
On that note Fugaku and Ay left to continue negotiating out a treaty and before they knew it, it was time to leave, treaty all negotiated "Before you leave Sakura, I'd like to gift you with my brothers sword, Shūryō-suru" Mifune halted the groups departure.
Verdant orbs widened as Urakaku approached with a long sword and when unsheathed by Mifune revealed the blade to be a red so dark it was almost black with the hilt being a dark green "Terminate that's what Shūryō-suru translates into doesn't it" Sakura whispered.
Feeling a little breathless at the sudden gift "Just as Kurosawa translates into Black Swamp, take this sword Sakura and wield it proudly" Mifune chuckled lightly, re-sheathing the sword and handing it over to his great grandniece.
Next to her Karin didn't even feel a smidge of jealously only to be shocked as Mifune turned to her next "And fear not Karin, you'll receive a sword in due time as will you Haku, when your armor is finished being made" Mifune assured.
And then Fugaku was ushering them out the doors, "Here's where we part, brats take care" Ay growled, stalking off in a different direction, escorts on his heels, Cee and Darui waved briefly before hurrying after their leader.
This time unlike on their way there, nothing happened and two days later they were back in Konohagakure "Glad to be back" Haku sighed in relief eager to go home and relax in the house doing nothing for a couple of days.
"Your welcome to head home, Itachi and I are the ones who have to report in" Fugaku waved his hand dismissively at his unofficial students that he hoped would be amenable to accepting him as their full time sensei soon.
Haku grabbed his teammates by the wrist and was gone in a whirlwind a second later "Whoa you have to teach us how to body flicker like that, cause that was cool Haku" Karin exclaimed when they appeared before their house moments after.
Sakura nodding in agreement to Karin, just as she was reaching out to open the door, it swung open and she had to jump back hastily or get a possible concussion "Sakura-chan your home" Nawaki the culprit exclaimed excitedly.
Jumping the pinkette and wrapping his arms around her shoulders "Nawaki quit it with that yelling would you I've got a headache" a woman hollered from the living room only to groan as her own yelling made her pounding skull ache even more.
"Big sis had a bit to much to drink last night with Mr. Jiraiya, she just woke up an hour ago and refuses to heal herself so she's suffering a hangover right now" Nawaki explained, obviously he'd been dealing with his own problems while they'd been gone.
Karin rolled her eyes "Of course, can you do something Sakura, I'll get started on an early dinner" Karin glanced to Sakura who looked as if she was ready to take a break for a month considering all the training they'd went through lately.
"Sure I think I have some chamomile flowers growing out back would you pick a couple for me Nawaki and pinch off a mint leaf while your at it, I'll get some water boiling on the stove, Haku you can grab a ginger root from the fridge and mince it up for me" Sakura requested.
Entering her house and dropping her pack in the foyer, followed by stripping out of her sandals before padding through the living room and into the kitchen, Nawaki vanished out back but Haku scurried after Sakura.
Nawaki was back a couple minutes later with the flower and mint leaf then got started on making a hangover concoction "Maybe you might want to think about stocking that in your cabinets or even adding it to that med kit of yours" Nawaki commented.
Because he knew that this wouldn't be the last time his sister was drunk "We'll think about it tomorrow Nawaki, when we're not so tired okay" Karin yawned, feeling exhausted as all the tension over the trip to Iron oozed out of her.
It wasn't just her who looked suddenly like they were about to pass out but Haku and Sakura to "Just what all did you do while you were off visiting your uncle Sakura-chan" Nawaki asked curiously.
"Learn kenjutsu the samurai way and lets just say that it was excruciating on the body, the way they practice has them going for three to four hour long sessions, slowly moving and using muscles one doesn't normally use" Haku huffed.
Answering for Sakura "Boo big baby you survived it didn't you" the pinkette teased as she finished up with her task by adding a generous amount of honey into the tea, Nawaki thanked her profusely as she handed it to him, then rushed away to give to Tsunade.
Twenty minutes later dinner was ready "So your the brats that have been taking care of Nawaki" Tsunade joined them midway through by grabbing what was left of the food and seating herself at the table.
Glad that her headache was gone and with it her appetite returned "Indeed Tsunade-sama" Karin nodded before she was to tired to even do that, her eyes had nearly fully shut when she felt herself falling out of the chair.
Quick as a snake Sakura grabbed her arm and she was righted properly in her seat "Damn what the hell happened that made you so tired" Tsunade whistled when the redhead strained to keep her eyes open for a little while longer.
So that she didn't go to bed hungry "You didn't listen did you Big Sis, they were on a two week trip to Iron so that Sakura-chan could visit her uncle who happens to be a samurai" Nawaki sighed wondering if this was what it felt like to be responsible for someone other than himself.
It was exhausting was all he'd say on the matter "Uh-huh I'm the Head Samurai's great grandniece, Karin by extension since she was adopted into my family" Sakura straightened, perking up a bit as she got food in her.
"And these two are trouble magnets so we had to be careful on the way there and of course we didn't get to many opportunities to relax since Mifune-dono let us learn kenjutsu the way he does it every single day" Haku piped in.
The response was immediate as Tsunade spluttered "Your related to Mifune how" the blonde demanded but she realized that maybe ordering these brats around at that particular moment in time was not a good idea.
Especially when she got a bleary eyed glare from the redhead "My mom" the rosette said simply, polishing off the rest of her food before making a clone to clean up for them because she was to tired to do it herself at the moment.
Not long after Sakura, Karin and Haku crawled into their beds and went to sleep for the night only for morning to dawn to quickly for them "Lets take a break for a couple of days" Karin suggested as they crowded around the table.
Minus Tsunade who was still sprawled out on the couch dead asleep "Karin's right, training is okay but not to the extent that you've been going lately" Haku easily agreed, plus they had to meet with those merchants at some point today to.
Fortunately Sakura wasn't in an arguing mood "On that note I have training with Sasuke and Naruto, Kakashi-sensei's teaching us how to walk on water today since we completed fifteen d ranks without failing a single one" Nawaki declared.
Rushing off to meet up with his team once he was done eating breakfast "Good to know Kakashi-sensei's taking a more hands on approach now unlike when I was on Team Seven" Sakura commented.
Pouring herself another cup of coffee "The hell how long have you brats been awake and where's Nawaki" Tsunade grumbled when she trudged sluggishly into the kitchen at 8 in the morning, expecting to see it empty beyond her littler brother.
Jade orbs flashed her way "We've been awake since 6o'clock Tsunade-sama and Nawaki left about fifteen minutes ago for training and missions probably" Karin answered, rising from her seat to make some extra food for the woman.
Who stared but was interrupted as knocking sounded throughout the house "I've got it" Haku announced, hurrying to answer the door, when he opened it there was a woman with raven hair standing on the doorstep.
"Um..uh excuse me where is Tsunade-sama, I'm Shizune her attendant" Shizune introduced herself with a worried expression obviously extremely confused about why someone else was answering the door.
Before she realized that the owner of the house must have come back from her mission as the teenager gestured her into the foyer and down the hall to the kitchen where Tsunade was eating breakfast that Karin had cooked for her.
"Oh Shizune there you are I was wondering when you were going to show up" Tsunade greeted, motioning for her assistant to take a seat, "So did you manage to do what I asked" the honey eyed woman asked when she was done eating.
And they'd congregated to the living room while the brats stayed in the kitchen "Yes I found a three bedroom house across the street from here that has an affordable monthly rent as long as you kick your drinking and gambling habits" Shizune informed.
Her mentor released a heavy sigh "For him I'll do anything even overcome my fear and whip that hospital back into shape" Tsunade admitted, a frown on her face at the thought of the disaster that was the hospital.
Meanwhile in the kitchen Sakura was scribbling down a list of what they'd need from the market "Are we ready then" Haku questioned when Sakura put the pencil in her pouch and stood, checking the cabinets one last time.
Before nodding "We'll be back in a little bit Tsunade-sama" Sakura informed on their way through the living room not sparing the woman or her companion a look and a few minutes later the three of them had exited the house and were heading for the market.
Where they split up to buy what was needed "Looks who's back from their trip" Shikamaru greeted Karin lazily when he saw the familiar redhead coming out of a grocery store, carrying a few bags full of food.
She gave a little jolt in response indicating he'd startled her out of her concentration possibly "Hey Shikamaru and yeah we got back a little before dinner last night" Karin smiled brightly at the Nara heir as she came up to him.
And walked along at his side "And you wouldn't have happened to bring back any souvenirs this time would you have for Choji I mean, he's the one who needs constant reassurance from his friends" Shikamaru questioned casually.
Karin's smile widened "Shikamaru your not fooling anyone but as to your question yes we brought back gifts, nothing like what we brought before but gifts nonetheless for all of Team Seven and Team Ten" Karin assured.
"To smart for your own good what a drag but I appreciate it guess I'll let you get back to whatever your doing" Shikamaru waved, slouching even further if that was possible and leaving Karin to continue shopping.
Before heading back to the house almost an hour later "I met with those three and we have until tomorrow to prepare our next batch of stock, also here's the pay you got from them" Sakura explained handing over vanilla envelopes.
Haku tucked his away with a sigh of relief "If Zabuza saw me now he wouldn't be able to recognize the person I've become I bet" Haku laughed in a freeing way, he missed his old master sure but he'd found happiness with Sakura and Karin in the Leaf Village.
Sakura clapped a hand to his shoulder lightly "He would also be proud Haku for finding a dream to live for, for yourself and nobody else" Sakura intoned kindly, and for the first time in almost two months Haku felt his heart beat for someone else other than Zabuza.
As he felt the beginning of feelings forming for the pinkette in front of him "Right anyway we should talk about when we're going to expand our product line do we do it today and approach the merchants tomorrow or what" Karin interrupted.
Bringing Haku back to his senses and he jerked backwards finding himself more in Sakura's space than ever before "Karin has a point, we need to move on to the third step since we already completed the first and second steps to starting our own company" Haku nodded.
Grateful for the distraction from his rapidly beating heart "True that means you need to learn how to make extracts and you need to know how to make jerky, we'll start with fish, do you know the regular shadow clone jutsu then I'll teach you" Sakura asked.
Haku shook his head and so she spent the next half an hour teaching him how to use normal shadow clones instead of the water clone jutsu Zabuza had taught him and once he could make four due to his advanced chakra control one was sent off on a Sakura clones heels.
On their way out of the house to buy what Karin needed to make extracts they bumped into Tsunade and Shizune returning "Going out again" Tsunade raised a pale brow on the odd trio of brats that lived in the house.
"Yep we're going to go buy stuff needed to make homemade extracts" Karin grinned, clearly excited to expand her own product line instead of just making perfumes and poison sprays all the time that did get boring after a bit.
The other brow joined the first high on Tsunade's forehead "Why don't you just simply buy the extracts instead of making them that sounds like to much work to be honest just to have some extract that you can buy easily" Tsunade snorted.
Karin hunched her shoulders "That may be true Tsunade-sama however it's not just for us, we intend on selling these homemade extracts as part of our trading company" Sakura interjected, pressing a soothing hand to her sister's back.
Shizune stepped forward "Do you even know what your getting yourselves into by making a business like that, to much work and you won't have any time for your shinobi duties, I suggest you three make a choice whether you want to be merchants or ninja" Shizune scolded.
Considering that he was standing so close to Sakura, Haku felt it when the pinkette went completely rigid "Excuse me but who are you to tell us what we can and can't do, or even scold us you aren't any one to us, come on Haku, Karin-chan" Sakura glared.
Leading her teammates away and down the streets "Well now I see what Nawaki was talking about, piss that brat off and she's a little monster, really what were you thinking Shizune, those brats don't trust us yet but you tried to scold them that was stupid" Tsunade shook her head.
"Bu..But Lady Tsunade their children, they need an adults guiding hand to help them mature, they don't need to be running around trying to make things to sell them for a business that's never going to work out while trying to do their duty as a shinobi" Shizune frowned.
Tsunade rolled her eyes "Seems to me like their managing just fine, besides according to Nawaki their company is doing just fine, Fragrant Blossom I think he said it was called" Tsunade commented with a shrug.
Heading straight for the living room and thirty minutes later those brats were back "Eh what do you mean it takes a week for extracts to be made" Karin sulked, appearing first but vanishing into the kitchen a second later.
Sakura and Haku on her heels "Precisely, don't worry Karin-chan I thought of something else you could make in the meantime that doesn't take near as long, salves, you could start with peppermint since I have peppermint oil already made" Sakura soothed.
"Your really something else Sakura, by the way are you going to reach out to that Kagura guy now that we're thinking of expanding" Haku chuckled lightly, remembering that Junichi had offered to help Sakura get in contact with the traveling clothes merchant.
The pinkette tilted her head to the side for a moment then nodded and for the rest of the morning spent time working on their projects with help from lots of clones until lunch when Nawaki returned and learned that he was moving into the house across the street with Tsunade which took the rest of the afternoon and Team Thirteen was sad to see him go.
