Evelyn hated being alone, it used to be Edward and Evelyn but now she was by herself. She was happy for everyone but there will always be a small amount of bitterness, she gave up looking for someone.
The remaining Cullens were sitting on Bella's table when Alice decided she wanted to host a party. At their house. Where no one has seen. Everyone was shocked, Edward aopsed it but it ultimately went ahead.
Edward and Bella were in Florida when Alice had a vision of Victoria coming near Forks. Everyone was waiting for her. Evelyn was the first to move as she heard footsteps in the distance. Her years of chasing people down for the Volturi was coming in handy. The rest followed after Alice's confirmation. When Victoria came into view Evelyn was not far behind her. She knew when chasing vampires they would try to change directions which meant she wasn't run as fast to see if she would change direction.
Emmett got too close to her and was not prepared to get a reaction out of her. Evelyn was about to jump the river when Carlise managed to hold her back. She was on the shapeshifters land. They followed her on the otherside when the shapeshifters followed her .Victoria had jumped back on their side by this point Evelyn let her instinct's take over to get her. Emmett was behind her as well. Japer was nearly able to get to her but she just was able to turn in time.
Evelyn was able to get her hand on Victoria's foot but they were already over the river. When a grey wolf had taken her momentum and made her let go of Victoria. When she had risen from the river her and the wolf had a sand off. The more Evelyn looked into the wolf's eye's the quicker her instincts gave up control of her body
