Hello, people. I have news.
So...turns out I now have writer's block. Well, not completely, but I can't think of any slice of life prompts. Now, I do have something in mind for a oneshot about Ollie's father, since OwlLover104 requested it, but I don't know if you like what I have in mind. Dead serious, I spent hours trying to think of a mysterious idea, like Ollie figuring out that he was alive and whatnot,but I just couldn't figure out where to go with that idea. Since I have the block thingy, it's going to be pretty short, maybe to like 1000 words. I hope you'll be with the finished result.
Now back to whatever the hell I was talking about. I might try to take a break after I get the request out of the way. Keyword, try. I feel like my writing skills are getting worse; I noticed that I repeat actions and phrases, such as 'He/she rolled his/her eyes' or 'He/she ruffled his/her hair. Do you know how they say that practice makes you better? yeah, that's not the case for me. I tend to get worse the more I do something. But the thing is, I kinda have an addiction to writing. I'll probably leave for a while, maybe come back after Thanksgiving or something. (And yeah, I don't know if I'm going to write a Thanksgiving one. It might turn out rushed if I do.)
I don't want to be known for being a redundant writer or anything. I'm trying not to go into my 12-year-old habit, where I would; write like one or two descriptive words and then use dialogue the rest of the way.
Ngl tho, 12-year-old me had some pretty good writing. Cringy? Hell yeah. But I made myself laugh.
Damn did that sound depressing as all hell.
