Episode 10: The Beginning of a New Beginning – Part 2

It all seemed to happen almost immediately for Gon after Jin and Nina successfully found him in probably the most mind-boggling mystery they've ever witnessed. The carnosaur-turned-mutated-obstitricity had just met all of the remaining new fighters that he hasn't seen after his absence from Tekken, including the brand new warrior, who is the daughter of the legendary kunoichi, Kunimitsu. Shortly after meeting both ninjas, Kunimitsu, I suddenly became ill with a devastating disease that left her completely bedridden at the hospital. Young Kunimitsu, II felt the grief from it and Gon didn't waste any time to soothe her spirit before her debut in the seventh Tekken tournament.

That mission was dubbed a success for Gon and little Kunimitsu honored his name forever by proclaiming him as her new father figure, if not her actual Father. The anthro never refused that title and it made him feel extremely humble to the deepest core of his heart. Now that Kunimitsu knows how to make her Mother happy, Gon decided to let her pull it off herself since he now knows everything she's capable of for such a young kunoichi. He promised to return to Japan after hearing whatever happens during the epic battle between Yoshimitsu and young Kuni. Despite that upcoming battle that was due to be a bloodbath, one thing's for certain for every last one of the Tekken warriors:

Peace has been officially restored.

In the meantime, Gon had finally returned to his home in Norfolk to see the setup he expected from his beloved Stephanie. The dinner table was lit with two candles, Stephanie was sitting at the table with her steaming plate of her famous Chicken-Shrimp-Lobster Surprise, and there were two glasses of white wine to top it all off. She was dressed for the occasion as well and Gon started out with that factor as he closed the front door and locked it from behind.

"There she is." He started with his usual humor in his handsome voice. "Dressed in my favorite nightgown and everything."

"Why, thank you, Gon-baby." Stephanie replied sweetly as she still remained in her seat, not moving a muscle to eat until her mutated lover got to his plate next to her. "I never knew purple was your favorite color."

"Next to yellow, yeah." He finally took his seat after that last word and took a couple of good whiffs of his favorite meal. "Mmm-mm! Smells delicious as usual. Did you put a little love in it, too?"

"As I do with all my dishes." The meal was finally underway as the conversation continued. "So, how did it go with Kunimitsu?"

"It was just as I thought. That disease that her Mother suddenly came down with was worse than Dr. B thought. She'll have to be bedridden. On the bright side, though, lil' Kuni is emotionally okay. She already knew that all of those failures her Mother went through in the past was the underlying cause of it, but didn't wanna say a word about it to anybody else."

"Oh, wow! Fascinating!"

"That's what I thought, too. Anyway, since that's the case, this young ninja's gonna fulfill her sick Mother's ultimate wish, even though she won't actually see it."

"You mean…?"

"Yep! Kuni Jr.'s gonna claim that Yoshimitsu sword for her own. She kinda has to since her great grandfather passed away years ago. Making a duplicate is outta the question now. Having the real deal will satisfy both of those kunoichis to the extreme."

"Whoa. That's pretty interesting, especially considering how challenging Yoshimitsu was towards you back in Tekken 3."

"Yeah, I know. But, after fighting young Kunimitsu, I'd say she's got the absolute potential to pull it off without even breaking a sweat. She broke the entire execution technique down, too. To shorten it for ya, she simply has to stab Yoshimitsu's back with both of her flaming blades while her back is facing his back as well. Get it?"

"A literal backstabbing death! Can it really be done?!"

"For the average human, no. For a totally badass kunoichi with ninja skills far beyond her age of 20 years, yes."

"Tee-hee! Good way to put it and well made. So, why kill him that way?"

"I've heard of this legend before. They say that if the blade were to be held by someone other than its owner's name, then a curse from the previous owner will be so deadly, the new owner won't even last a day after holding it. So, by killing the owner of the blade back against the back, the curse is guaranteed to be completely gone and the new holder of the sword won't suffer. Simply put, it'll be just like any old sword without a name."

"Ohhh, I get it. In this case, the Yoshimitsu sword is currently in the hands of Yoshimitsu himself. Young Kunimitsu will kill him in this way and she won't be under the spell of her Mother's former master."

"Exactly. Murder with the backs facing each other seems dark, but it's actually like a germ killing barrier towards ninjas. With that in mind, it's safe to say that this 20-year-old kunoichi already knows what she's talking about. She didn't have to listen to herself to make sure she said it right, although… heh, heh… her voice is pretty damn cute."

"All of this is just mind-bending. I sure do hope she does make her Mother happy. It just shows the never-ending bond between a mother and her daughter, no matter if they're both ninjas or not."

"Amen to that, Steph. I'm eagerly waiting for the results of the battle. Lil' Kunimitsu's probably at it right now as we speak and eat. I probably won't hear from her until tomorrow morning."

"Ya wanna… fool around tonight, then? Back then, the best I could do for the both of us was hump your tail." Stephanie gently stroked his face as she semi-whispered that second statement and looked deeply into his purple eyes. "Now, that you look like this, I'll bet you're bigger and harder than any man I've seen before."

"Heh, heh… yeah. I actually am. I'd love to finally have sex with ya for the first time tonight, babe. Let's try to make it not-too-quick, but totally painless."

"Ooooh, I love the way you think, baby."

Ten minutes of cleaning the kitchen later, up in Stephanie and Gon new bedroom…

The two just entered and, as Gon's long four foot long tail was closing and locking the door, they were engaged in a steamy passionate kiss that so wild, their tongues were practically dancing with each other, especially since Gon's tongue of an obstagoon was about three inches longer than usual. After the minute long kiss, they just stared as deeply into each other's eyes as they possibly could while Gon aimlessly pulled down the nightgown from Stephanie's body, taking another fifteen seconds to reveal her in a black bra and matching panties. That's when she softly sang out a harmonic moan that was full of lust and Gon growled along with her as he took a couple of steps back to admire her beautifully fit body.

"…holy hot damn, Steph." He groaned with ecstasy. "As busy as you will be as a veterinary technician, I'm surprised to see ya lookin' so sexy and healthy."

"A successful woman has priorities to keep, ya know." Stephanie agreed seductively as she slowly walked backwards towards the massive California king sized bed and sat down on the left side, using a slender hand to lure her mutated lover towards her. Gon wasn't one to disobey as he did so, taking off his suit jacket, white tank top, and pants along the way. He was down to his black boxers by the time he stopped at her knees. She purred at his impressive muscles. He had about the same amount of muscle as Jin. "Oooh, the same can be said about you, my sexy dragon."

"It's the true strength that I've had since I hatched from my egg millions of billions of years ago." At that last word, the horny brunette leaned back until she laid her head down on an extremely fluffy pillow, having her laid on her back before her lover. Gon slowly crawled onto the bed after her, having his long tail slowly swaying with happiness along the way. "I'll still be gentle towards you regardless, though."

"And I trust you to the fullest, baby." The two shared one more frenzied kiss of extreme proportions, even while Gon pulled out a condom from the nightstand drawer via his long tail.

Meanwhile, at the Tokyo International Hospital Downtown…

"How is she holding up?" Dr. Bosconovitch started as he just approached the room where the pale and frail Kunimitsu I was resting. Her harsh breathing was still there and the elderly doctor frowned when he saw that she was on life support for now. That answered his question before a fellow male doctor could even open his mouth as the two stood in the doorway. "Ah, I see. You had to place her on life support. Is this temporary?"

"According to the head nurse, it should be. That power of her fire breath is helping with her lungs for the most part, but as far as her ability to move is, it's not so good. From the waist down, she's completely paralyzed. She can, at least, still eat pretty well." The doctor replied. "So well, in fact, that if you were to give her a full course meal, it'll stay down and she'll fall asleep with the usual harmless case of the itis instead."

"Excellent! Little Kunimitsu would be thrilled to hear this newest development. How about her blindness? Is that still there?"

"That's the only other downside, other than the paralysis. She can open her eyes, but it'll still be complete darkness within her vision. Her eyes are as grey as your hair, but still have some of that red coloring her irises have. It's extremely faded."

"Mm! That's unfortunate."

"It sure is. So, how is little Kunimitsu doing? Is she holding up emotionally?"

"Thanks to an old friend of mine, yes. Gon came here in a hurry when he first heard about this illness the elder Kuni here suddenly came down with. She was so thankful that he called him her father figure. I think that's sweet."

"Aww!" Hearing that statement before the younger doctor made the sickly Kunimitsu pull off a smile and she opened those said grey and faded red eyes. Dr. B jumped with astonishment as he slowly walked into the room and just stood by her bedside on her left.

"Ah, that caught your attention. Apparently, this disease doesn't effect your hearing. How do you feel, Kunimitsu?"

"Better compared to a couple of days ago." She replied in a hoarse tone of her deep voice. "I still can't see a thing. Have I been blind this entire time?"

"Your sixth sense is cut off, thanks to this disease. You have been blind the entire time long before your illness, but thanks to your ninja ways, your sixth sense became a replacement for your eyes. That's how you've been able to fight so well."

"No wonder. How is my daughter? I know she must've been traumatized after what happened."

"She was for a moment and even refused to allow others to console her, but thanks to Gon, he was the only one to make it all better for her just in time to try to steal the Yoshimitsu sword for you."

"And she called him her father figure?"

"Yes. She professionally claimed that he was the only one allowed to speak to her because, after that little match they shared, he made her feel like a true warrior."

"My God… that's my daughter. She never gains trust from just anyone. Her skills are so far beyond her years, my years, and her father's combined! It's no wonder."

"She's no spring chicken, Kuni. You've raised a fine kunoichi."

"Thank you so much for that. I want to hear her voice now. I miss her already."

"I know you do. I'll make sure of it tomorrow."

The next morning, at approximately 7:45 AM…

"Gon!" Stephanie called from her bedroom. He was currently in the shower of that same room.

"Yeah?" He called back from the closed door.

"It's Kunimitsu on the phone for you! She says she has some exciting news to share with you."

"Yes! I've got it in here!"

Inside that same shower…

"Lil' Kuni! Hey!" He spoke into the waterproof mounted phone within his glass shower. "Good morning! How did you sleep, despite the fight you had to take last night?"

"Like the baby I used to be." Kunimitsu replied in her cute voice with all the happiness in the world. It was a split screen conversation as she was sitting up in her bed, dressed in a purple tank top. "I have something to tell you."

"And from what I've just been told from Steph, it must be exciting. Fire away."

"I did it."

"…" Gon showed a smile of pride as grew teary eyed, feeling as proud as any parent. Kunimitsu sensed it from the other line as she continued.

"I killed Yoshimitsu with my back facing his with both of my blades and, not only did I get stained with his blood along the way, I was able to take his sword without succumbing to his curse. The blade is mine now."

"Congratulations, Kuni! I knew you could do it. Was it difficult?"

"At first. Yoshimitsu knew what my goal was and it was literal fight to the death. An absolute bloodbath only a pair of ninjas would be able to endure."

"…whoa. Just as I thought. So, you… uh…"

"I took the longest shower I've ever taken in my life after that. I was soaked in blood."

"Whew! Yep! Again, I knew that would happen. So, now that you've fulfilled your Mother's wish, aren't you gonna see her today?"

"Can I? I haven't been able to since she was admitted to the hospital."

"Don't know yet, but I'll find out for ya. Hang on. I'll call the hospital real quick. Don't hang up."

"Okay." After that sweet response, Gon kept his smile of admiration as he carefully dialed the number to the Tokyo International Hospital after he turned off his shower. After two rings, Dr. Bosconovitch picked up without a second thought.

"Dr. B?"

"How did you know?" He replied with astonishment as he was now sitting next to the pale Kunimitsu I, who was now off of life support, but still alive!

"Had a feeling. How's the OG Kuni?"

"She's just gotten off of life support, but she's still alive and breathing much better than before."

"Awesome! Listen, lil' Kuni's been wondering if she could come and see her Mother. She said she hasn't been able to since that day."

"And for a good reason. We had to make absolutely certain that she wasn't contagious and I was right. It's a stationary illness that won't effect her daughter at all. She can come and see her anytime. Besides, elder Kuni here wants to hear her voice now. She said so not too long ago."

"And she can speak, too?!"

"Barely. Her voice is still deep, but extremely hoarse. Personally, if I was her, I'd want to hear my daughter's voice rather than my own as well."

"I understand. Well, I'll tell the young blood Kuni right away. She's got a surprise for her Mother."

"Does she now?! Well, we'll be looking forward to it. Make sure she doesn't make us wait too long."

"Yes, sir." After that was said, Gon clicked off the hospital and got back to Kunimitsu II on the other line. "Kuni, Jr.? You still there, cutie?"

"Present." Kunimitsu replied. "Can I see my Mother now?"

"Anytime. She's off life support, still alive, and ready to hear your voice after so long. I simply told the doc that you've got a surprise, but I didn't say what it was."

"Thanks for keeping that a secret. I wanna surprise my Mother with this sword. She may not see it, but I'll let her feel it. She oughta know what it looks like just by that action alone. You're welcome to join me, if you want."

"I'll try. See ya."

"Bye, Gon. And thanks for everything." The two hung up simultaneously after that and the mutated dragon just couldn't stop his smile or his joyful tears as he just stepped out of the shower to get himself ready for the day.

Meanwhile, at the hospital…

Kunimitsu II was dressed in her urban ninja set with the fox eared hood on to make sure nobody knew who she was as she just entered the facility with her blades by her right side and Yoshimitsu's sword upon her lower back where her two blades should be. Despite the hood, many onlookers of nurses, doctors, waiting patients, and outgoing patients all watched her with respectful silence, knowing full well that she was there to see her beloved Mother. With that feeling in mind, she pulled off a small smile and never ceased from it throughout her entire walk.

After ten minutes of it, the head nurse, a beautiful Caucasian blonde with blue eyes, approached her with utmost honor for the young ninja.

"You must be Kunimitsu's daughter." She started in a semi-country voice. Kunimitsu II never said a word, but still kept her adorable smile as she nodded once in response. "Let me start off by saying that all of us here at the hospital truly respect you and how you still love your Mother with all your heart, despite your dangerous backgrounds. Ever since we've admitted her here, she's been begging us to let you see her. We had to keep you away for a couple of days to ensure that her mysterious disease isn't contagious. And it turns out that it isn't after all. So, you can see her as often as you like. Now, let me lead you to her."

"Thanks, but I can find her myself. I appreciate all this honor." Kunimitsu II replied after being silent since her phone call with Gon as she continued on her way towards an elevator.

Another five minutes later…

Dr. Bosconovitch woke up from his upcoming nap within his chair and saw the young Kunimitsu standing with an angelic glow from the hospital lights within the doorway. He smiled upon that sight before he stretched and stood up to greet her.

"Ah, you made it." He started. "Good to see you out of the mansion and out of your room for the first time in days. How are you?"

"Much better, thanks." Kunimitsu II replied as she looked around him to see her sleeping Mother. "She's still looking as pale as a ghost, but you say she's still alive, right?"

"She sure is. She can speak as well. Her voice won't be the same as you remember, though."

"That's okay. As long as she can still speak." After that last word, Kunimitsu I heard her voice the entire time and opened her now completely grey eyes still staring at the ceiling, saddened at the fact that she can't see her only daughter. Kunimitsu II saw this and kept her smile as she approached her Mother and took the same seat as the doctor. He watched this scene from a distance. "Mother, it's me. Can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear." Kunimitsu I replied in that hoarse deep female voice her young daughter didn't want to hear. "I'm completely blind now and I can't see you. Can… can I touch your face?"

"Anything for you, Mother." Kuni II gently took a frail, slender hand and led it up to her smooth skinned face. After thirty seconds, a single tear escaped from her Mom's left eye. This made her naturally pale blue eyes well up as well, but never released any tears of her own.

"Oh, my God! I've missed you so much."

"Same here towards you, Mom. So glad you still remember me."

"How can I forget my only daughter? I love you with all my heart."

"I love you, too. So much so that I've got a surprise for you. I've been fighting well in the seventh Tekken tournament now and I faced Yoshimitsu last after defeating Heihachi and his wife, Kazumi. Mother, I have defeated him for you. He's dead now and I have his sword to prove it." After that last word, Kunimitsu II pulled out that said sword from behind her and allowed her Mother to feel the blade with her own of what little strength she could use. As she felt the smooth titanium steel, her tears came out like waterfalls from her grey eyes as she turned her head towards her daughter as if she could see her. "This is the one and the same Yoshimitsu blade that you've been fighting for back in your day, isn't it?"

"It's the same sword, yes! Oh, I'm so proud of you! I can't believe that you actually pulled it off! I would say that this progress puts me to shame, but that would be dishonorable to our name. It's my fault that I failed and I don't deserve this sword."

"I agree with the latter, but you shouldn't blame yourself, Mother. It wasn't an easy fight. I can see why you gave up back then. He knew my intentions and it was a battle to the death… his death. I even killed him in the way you and Father taught me."

"Back against the back with both your flaming blades?"

"Yes." Kunimitsu I still continued to feel all over the sword as the conversation continued, keeping that cute smile on her daughter's face. "His blood splattered everywhere after that. I had to take an hour long shower to get it all off."

"Heh, heh… of course." A smile finally came upon the sickly Kuni's blood red lips and that finally made Kuni II's tears of absolute joy escape her pale blue eyes. "What color was it?"

"Red, like your eyes used to be. I'm so glad you're happy about this. That's all I wanted to do for you. Seeing you smile just makes me feel more like a true ninja every time." Kunimitsu I finished feeling the familiar blade as Kuni II placed it back in her sheath behind her before holding both of her Mother's cold hands within hers in prayer. "We may be dangerous, but you're still my mother and I'm your daughter. We're family and I'll always love you. You've been through and done so much for me since my birth. I can never repay you for it."

"Oh, but you did… just now. By bringing me the Yoshimitsu sword after killing him, that's suffice of a repayment for my hard work of raising you alongside your Father, even after you've surpassed both of our ninja skills by millions. A Mother like me cannot ask for more than that. I love you so much." The two became engaged in the most heartwarming embrace in history, having Kunimitsu II get into the bed with her to make it so, looking as if she was laying over top of her Mother. This happened right on time as Gon finally walked in and stopped at Dr. B's right side with crossed arms and a smirk of total confidence.

"Did I miss anything?" He whispered to the doctor, who nodded twice.

"So much, yes." He whispered back. "Kunimitsu got to feel the blade her daughter fought so hard for and she was graciously proud of her for it."

"Awww, that's cute. That mother and daughter bond can't be beaten, no matter what. Where the hell is the Father in all of this?"

"Well, like I said before, he wanted nothing to do with this. It's like he's completely nonexistent, but not to Kunimitsu I. She still brings him up every now and then. He is her husband after all. Not a one-night stand."

"That makes sense. I'll bet the sex was amazing."

"Now, now! Don't you start that during this tender moment."

"Sorry. Couldn't help it. It's only because I kinda know who witnessed it, but mentioning him by name would ruin him."

"Oh?!"

"Yeah. I'll talk privately to lil' Kuni about it after this blessed moment that probably won't happen again. It'll be just any other hospital visit after this."

"True."

An hour later, in the main lobby…

Kunimitsu II had just exited the elevator and wasn't even the least bit surprised to see the mutated Gon sitting in a chair within the waiting room of the lobby. She smiled with respect as she approached a vacant chair to his right and took a seat, even with the blades strapped to her.

"How was that visit, eh? Felt good, didn't it?" He asked with his usual casual humor, keeping that cute smile on her face.

"Spectacular!" Kunimitsu II replied as she took off the hood. "I knew she missed me the entire time and she confessed everything about that factor to me. I feel like a real ninja now."

"Atta girl! I knew you'd come around. Did she talk more about your Father?"

"I started that conversation with a question about where he's been since her illness. She told me that, even though they're happily married, somehow… my own Father wants nothing to do with me at all. It's like he hates me."

"…damn." Both warriors frowned simultaneously as this was said from Gon. "Your Mother said those exact words about him?"

"Pretty much. I told her that I still love him because he's my Father. They both raised me to become the most professional kunoichi in the world. How can he hate me for that?"

"Grudges aren't easy to take in nowadays. Which brings me to my next point: The sex your parents did in order to create you… it was all out of only the love for each other and having your Mother end up pregnant after that was unintentional within his mind alone."

"…" Kunimitsu II showed the widest eyes in her life with absolute shock as the honest Gon continued.

"I know it's unbelievable, but ya gotta take that in with a handful of salt. Apparently, the OG Kuni loved you so much since your birth. She didn't call you a hindrance at all, didn't she?"

"Not once. She truly took care of me throughout my life and my Father did seem hesitant every now and then, just to play along. He had no choice."

"Exactly. It's shameful that your pops wants out on all of this, but there's a silver lining here. An old friend of your Father was an accidental witness to the sex prior to your birth. He knows him inside and out like a true friend. Personally, I prefer him to be your father than the one you've got now."

"Really? Who is he?"

"Another former member of the Manji Clan: Kaijamitsu. He's at about the same age as Heihachi and with the same young energy he has, too. Turns out that Kaijamitsu is a old friend of your Mother's as well, but since she got married to your Dad, he became friends to both of them and was even more ecstatic to hear about your birth. He wanted to secretly keep in touch with you all as a family friend, but guess who refused that offer?"

"My Father."

"Yep. He told Kaija straight up that having you being born was an absolute mistake and he didn't want him to get involved because if he did, he threatened to kill him on sight."

"…no. Why would he do this?"

"It happens, Kuni. Now that you know all this, what are ya gonna do?"

"…" No more words were spoken from either of them for the next five minutes as they looked at each other with determined stares. She even put her hood back on to prove that she was willing to seek out Kaijamitsu himself for more answers. Gon read that in her fierce bluish-grey eyes and nodded once with permission. The two then engaged in an embrace for one more minute before she stood up and walked out of the hospital with that same regal glare of bravery within her eyes.

2 hours later, at the entrance to the Vermilion Gates…

Kunimitsu II looked around with just her eyes for the family friend. After about thirty seconds, she sees a mysterious figure standing at the top of the tallest pagoda in the area. She then took off her hood and tried to call out to him:

"KAIJAMITSU?! IS THAT YOU?!"

The figure's response: It leaped off and landed just before her in a dark hooded cloak in a kneeled down position. By the time he stood up straight at his height of 6 feet and 9 inches, he appeared to wear all black, even on his urban ninja sneakers that looked identical to Kunimitsu's purple ones. They both stood perfect still as they seemed to stare each other down for the next two minutes before she continued.

"Kaijamitsu? Is that truly you? I'm Kunimitsu II, the daughter of a pair of allies."

It was still silent from the mysterious ninja's end, but showed wide bright green eyes of absolute surprise to hear that last statement. He even took off his hood to show that he was Japanese and older than the young kunoichi's parents by about five years with aged skin, but no wrinkles. He also had a short cut with the sideburns, beard, and moustache combination colored in that wise silver. He took a couple of steps closer to Kunimitsu, still in utter disbelief for a moment as he finally spoke in an elderly gruff voice that the younger ninja couldn't help but smile at.

"Kunimitsu's daughter?! Are you certain?"

"Yes, it's me. I have taken my Mother's name in her honor and I have even showed her that I killed Yoshimitsu with my own two blades by means of his sword. I have it here to prove to you." At that last word, Kunimitsu II pulled out that said sword from her left side and Kaijamitsu continued to be flabbergasted at a high level as he carefully took the sword from her for a closer look. She didn't even hesitate to oblige. "It's truly the one and the same Yoshimitsu sword that my Mother failed to steal back in her day. She felt the blade and was eternally grateful."

"Felt the blade? You mean…"

"About three days ago, she suddenly fell ill with a mysterious disease that rendered her blind and paralyzed from the waist down. She's bedridden at the hospital as we speak. Making her happy was my top priority and I've achieved it by the million-fold."

"My God… my predilections were true." Kaija finally regained all six of his senses and handed the famed sword back to Kunimitsu II, who safely placed it back in her sheath. The two then sat down on their knees and casually continued the conversation. "So, you truly are the daughter of my old friend, Kunimitsu. I must say: Like Mother, like daughter… you both have exceptional skills, especially for you. How old are you?"

"20 years old. I've just debuted in the seventh Tekken tournament and I'm an unstoppable opponent towards the others."

"I can tell just by looking at you. So, why seek me out? Has your Mother told you about me?"

"Not exactly by name, but she did tell me that my Father has been avoiding me since I became old enough to fend for myself. I've heard from another close friend that my Father even threatened to kill you upon his sight if you ever tried to visit us back when I was a child. Does he really think that my birth was a mistake?"

"I hate to confess this to such a young warrior like you, but it is the truth. I dare not speak your Father's name because of this. I can tell you this, however: Your Mother and I were the only ones happy that you've come into this world. As a former member of the now extinct Manji Clan, I've been a close friend to your Mother for many years. Her exceptional skills as a thief were far beyond what the rest of the clan could do, but it was all for personal gain. She practically worked for herself. I wasn't envious of her at all. In fact, I praised her for every steal that she did and never snitched on her. Now, I feel like I'll be doing it again towards you."

"Wow… thank you so much for that! Did you despise Yoshimitsu as well?"

"More than your Mother did, yes. So glad you finally killed him. Was he a challenge?"

"One of my greatest. He knew what I was after and really fought hard to keep me away from his sword. I was covered in blood so much that I took an hour long shower afterwards."

"Whew! Now that was a bloodbath. Now, that you've made your Mother happy and got the sword, will you still attend this new Tekken tournament?"

"I must. Those fighters are amazing to fight against. I've never had so much fun."

"Awww, that's good to hear. It's truly been a honor to finally see you all grown up with skills that extend far beyond your parents combined. Since I can't see your Mother, can you give her my regards and tell her that I still love her as a friend?"

"I promise. And I must say that it's good to finally match a face with a name that I never thought I'd hear about. You take care of yourself, okay?"

"I sure will. Same to you and you take good care of your Mother in the best way you can with your asshole of a Father. Try to find a way to unite all three of you in the same room as a family for the first time in your lifetime."

"It'll be a difficult task, but again, I'll make sure of it." The two stood up simultaneously and shook hands with a bow of honor. "Thanks so much for your support."

"My pleasure."

Several hours later, at Gon and Stephanie's mansion bedroom…

The couple had just finished a pre-bedtime quickie before they had snuggled into bed with Stephanie's laptop on her covered lap. They were having a quick video chat with Kunimitsu II, who was in her own bed after another relaxing shower. She was dressed in a white tank top with matching boy shorts this time.

"…and after I told Mother about how much Kaijamitsu misses her, her blind eyes welled up in tears and she said that she will always remember his face, if not his voice." The young kunoichi finished with pure joy in her cute voice. "I've never seen her filled with so much joy before."

"That's one devoted Mother for ya, lil' Kuni." Gon agreed with a beaming grin of pride. Stephanie followed suit as she was leaned up against his right shoulder in her most adorable manner. "So, adding all of this up, you actually do plan to reunite all three of you as a family back at the family home at the Vermilion Gates, eh?"

"Now that Kaijamitsu's moved on from there, yes. That will probably take another 20 years, but I'm not letting that stop me. It can and will be done."

"There ya go. I guess ya don't need me anymore for now, right?"

"Yeah. I wanna stay focused on taking care of my Mother and performing well at the tournament at the same time. I really do appreciate all that you've done for me, Gon. Had it not been for you, I probably would've found out about the meanings of 'depression' and 'suicide' permanently, breaking my Oath of the Ninja overnight."

"Glad I saved ya. It's usually my shtick. You keep being the badass ninja your Mother used to be and more. Ya hear me?" Gon then showed a fist towards the camera as if to do a virtual fist bump and Kunimitsu II followed suit with a playful smile.

"Tee-hee! Will do. Anything else you wanna tell me before we part ways for a while?"

"Hmmm… anything else…" Gon paused in deep thought for a few moments, looking at Stephanie with permission. She nodded twice in agreement before they both turned back towards the young kunoichi on the computer screen. "Well, yeah. There is one more thing. I practically make friends with every human on this Earth since my revival. There's this small family of three that reside here in the United States: one of the many friendly suburbs of Maine to be exact. They're called the Johannsson's: Jawkin, Valtina, and Colby. That last name is the one and only son that they have that's also an aspiring ninja like you. He's a year older than you and is already living the good life as a freelance hero. Try to look him up and get a date with him sometime. I've already heard from his Dad that his son's already developed a bit of a crush on you." Hearing this made Kuni II's blueish grey eyes brighten up with astonishment as well as have her blush a bit on her cheeks. "Don't look so surprised now. That's truly the last thing I have to tell ya. So, how about it, eh?"

"…Gon! I'm speechless… well, except all I have to say is thanks for that information. I'll be sure to look him up sometime without my Father knowing."

"Awesome. Well, good luck to ya and good night."

"Thank you and good night." After that last word, the two ended the chat and Gon safely turned off the laptop before Stephanie placed it away in her nightstand drawer before cuddling up under the comforter with him.

"Just settling in and you're already playing matchmaker." Steph said playfully as the two were slowly falling asleep. "Why mention the Johannsson's, though?"

"Colby Donahoe Johannsson, the son of the family, has literally been studying ninjutsu since high school and he's even made himself stand out after he graduated from college: By surgically swapping the colors of his pupils and sclera."

"Whoa… didn't even know you could do that."

"Me neither, but hey. If that's what'll float his boat… they'll make a great team for sure. Well, good night, Steph." The two shared one more kiss before they had fallen asleep with Gon being mentally ecstatic to know that, even though he's officially not a part of Tekken anymore…

…all those warriors - brand new, young in age, or old school - will always call him as part of their dysfunctional family.

The End

(Finally! I just love the new Kunimitsu in Tekken 7 so much, I wanted to put a little bit of a family drama kind of twist on her backstory. Hope I did it justice and I also hope y'all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.)
