I was completely surprised when Bella picked me up for school, but I was just happy to spend more time with her.
Mike was really embarrassing, guessing how I was able to get Bella Cullen to be my girlfriend. He even asked if I seduced her! Is that really what Mike thinks I would do?
No! I'm a gentleman, and it's too early in our relationship.
At lunch, she asked me a bunch of questions. We held hands and walked to Biology. There was like an electric spark between us.
She walked me to Study hall. I stroked her cheek, making her close her eyes, tilt her head into my hand and purr.
Then I stopped and she walked away.
She explained to me on the way home that Mike thought he was better than her, but she defended me. She also explained Vampire mates to me, and that I was hers.
The next morning, Bella picked me up again. She wore a black long-sleeve shirt, a medium grey flared skirt, black tights, and black ankle boots. She looked really good.
She drove me to school and started questioning me. About pretty much everything.
Starting off with my favorite things.
She questioned me the entire day.
"Favorite color?"
"Blue."
"Favorite ice cream flavor?"
"Hm...superman."
"Book?"
"Anything mystery, sports and crime."
"Favorite candy?"
"Sour patch kids."
"Favorite artist?"
"I don't listen to modern music much."
"When are you the most yourself?"
I grinned. "When I'm in my room, playing my guitar."
These questions continued all day long.
Favorite movies, books, scents, memories, food, ice cream flavor, candy, and anything like that. She walked me to every class. She questioned me at lunch. I revealed to her that my favorite gemstone was now topaz.
"It's the color of your eyes." I told her.
"Mine's emerald." She told me. "When's your birthday?"
"June 20th, 1988."
"September 13th."
"The year?"
She smirked. "I'll tell you some other day."
She asked me questions whenever she could for the entire day. In between classes, at lunch, before biology, and when she drove me home. I felt like it would never stop, but eventually it did.
Once I got out, I went straight inside. I was tired of her questions.
The next day, the questions continued. I was growing quite tired of them. Today it was all about my past—Chicago, my friends, school life, past dates, my family, anything about my life before I moved here. I tried to be as honest as possible. I had to describe Chicago, which was hard. I was going insane with all of these questions!
I was introduced to Alice today, though. She was hyper, energetic and crazy, but really nice.
Bella left with Alice to go hunting. I was left by myself, waiting until I see her tomorrow.
When I got home, I created a song for Bella on my piano.
When I woke up the next morning, I quickly pulled on my outfit. A short sleeve black shirt with roses in the corner of the front, dark grey almost black pants, and black sneakers. I ate a granola and brushed my teeth before the doorbell rang.
Bella stood there, looking nice in floral. Her short, black dress had rose patterns all over it. She wore translucent black tights and black converse.
"Hey. Like my outfit?"
"Yeah." She chuckled.
"What?"
"We match."
I grinned. "I guess we do."
My mom and dad thought that I was going to Seattle, but I wasn't. I climbed into the driver's seat of my Volvo, just like Bella climbed into the passenger seat.
She gave me directions on how to get there. We ended up on the outskirts of town.
"We're going to be hiking. It's about, eh, an hour or two?"
"Lead the way."
We didn't take the trail, but Bella showed me where to go. She kept questioning me, mostly about school and pets. I once owned a dog, but he died several years ago.
Finally, after an hour and a half of hiking, we finally made it.
It was a beautiful rectangular meadow full of wildflowers. Red, white, yellow, purple, pink, blue. You could hardly even see the grass.
I heard Bella take a deep breath and step out into the light.
