Chapter 11 - Last Flight
Rugal and Heidern were chasing Mirror Heidern through the forest.
"Don't loss him! We can't leave him get away with the jericho." - Heidern
"I wont let him! Especially after all the harm he has done." - Rugal
"(This two are more persistent than I thought. I must get rid of them before I arrive to the hangar.)" - Thought Mirror Heidern looking at the rearview mirror of his jeep
Mirror Heidern started slowing down the speed of his jeep to be face to face with Heidern and Rugal. He started clashing his jeep with Rugal and Heidern's one trying to make them crash
"Here is where your stop is." - Mirror Heidern
"Damn it!" - Rugal
"Don't lose your focus, I'll handle him." - Heidern
Heidern jumps on top of the jeep and uses his technique called Cross Cutter on Mirror Heidern's jeep. Angry about that Mirror Heidern grabs his pistol and starts shooting to Rugal and Heidern's jeep.
Mirror Heidern start speeding up again. He hears a voice coming from his headset
"Commander, the plane is fully prepared. Are you coming soon?" - Said one of NEST soldiers waiting for Heidern in the hangar
"I'm almost there soldier, I need that you and the rest prepare yourselves. We got company!" - Mirror Heidern
Finally seeing the hangar with a big plane waiting for him in the horizon made Mirror Heidern smile. It didn't matter if Rugal and his other self had followed him there. He had arrived
"(Almost there. There's no way they can follow me and fight against my soldiers at the same time.)" - Thought Mirror Heidern
"Is that an hangar?" - Asked Heidern seeing the plane and the soldiers on the horizon
"Yes, and it seens is being guarded by Heidern's thugs." - Rugal
Approaching the hangar Mirror Heidern started running towards the airplane with the jericho container in his arms. Two soldiers and a scientist with a strange machine greeting him
"Kill these intruders! Don't let them get near the plane." - Said Mirror Heidern as he put the container with the virus inside the machine
"Is that the Jericho?" - Asked one of the NEST soldiers as he and the other soldier started to put the jericho in the machine carrying the strange machine inside the plane
"Damn it! There's alot of them." - Said Heidern as he and Rugal came out of the jeep
Rugal and Heidern took cover behind the jeep.
"How are we suppose to follow that plane?" - Rugal
"I got you covered, let's shoot our way to that plane." - Said Heidern pulling of a smoke grenade
"Now!" - Heidern throwed the smoke grenade to the group of soldiers aiming at them
In the confusion, Heidern started shooting these soldiers while running with all his forces towards the back of the plane. Rugal took the rifle of one of the soldiers that was killed by Heidern and started running alongside him towards the plane.
Both ran towards the plane dodging and shooting everyone that was between them and the plane.
Mirror Heider ordered the driver to start moving with destination to Tokyo.
"Come on, what are you waiting for! Let's get out of here." - Mirror Heidern
"Wait, commander. These two haven't finished carrying the machine with the container." - Said the driver waiting for the soldiers to put the machine inside the plane
"Damn it!" - Mirror Heidern went to the back of the plane, he helped the two soldiers and saw how Rugal and his other self were almost close.
"Kill them!" - Ordered Mirror Heidern to the two soldiers
"The machine is inside, let's takeoff now!" - Mirror Heidern went to see the driver
The plane started moving and the container of the plane started closing slowy, Rugal quickly killed both soldiers and jumped inside the plane.
"Come on, Heidern. Give me a hand!" - Said Rugal trying to help Heidern enter the plane before this one took off
"ARRGH!" - Heidern stretched out his arms and manage to grab Rugal's hand. Both finally entered the plane as this one took off
"What is that?" - Asked Heidern as both saw the big device with the container of the jericho inside the plane
"That's none of your business!" - Said Mirror Heidern angry who appeared
"So this is your plan? You plan to spread this awful disease on all Tokyo, you deranged asshole!" - Said Rugal pointing on to Mirror Heidern
"Of course, Tokyo will be just the beginning. Every nation of this world will submit once they see what this baby does. And unless they accept my regards and rules there won't be need to even use that much of the serum." - Said Mirror Heidern with a evil smile
"No if we can stop it!" - Both Heidern and Rugal launched themselves against Mirror Heidern.
The fight between the three started
"Reppuken!" - Rugal
"Ha! Get some new tricks, pal." - Mirror Heidern dodged Rugal's attack and did a flying kick to attack Rugal
"Take this!" - Heidern now launched his attack Cross Cutter
"Arggh! Not bad, you're good for a weakling with one eye." - Said Mirror Heidern recovering from the attack
Heidern was about to attack Mirror Heidern with an aerial attack but Mirror Heidern countered it with a giant version his attack called Moon Slasher. Heidern got send back to one of the walls of the plane
"(Did he used the original version of the Jericho on him? He is even more stronger than the last time we fought.)" - Thought Rugal after seeing Mirror Heidern's attack
Rugal went with Heidern and helped him getting up
"What's the matter, are you two already tired?" - Mirror Heidern
"This is useless. We will never defeat him like this." - Heidern
"I got an idea, go and deactivate the container like Ling told us. I'll distract him." - Rugal
"Do you really think you can go against him alone?" - Heidern
"Just do it! Even if he kill us both, ruining his plan would be the best thing we can do now." - Rugal
"Where do you think you are going?" - Mirror Heidern
Mirror Heidern tried to attack Heidern but was stopped by Rugal who grabed him by the arm trying to crush Mirror Heidern's arm. Mirror Heidern managed to free himself from Rugal's grab and backed up
"You fight is with me!" - Said Rugal activating the power of his eye
"I'm tired of seeing your face, Rugal. It's time to close the book on us!" - Said Heidern going into his stance battle
While Rugal and Mirror Heidern fought, Heidern was trying to remove the container of the jericho from the big machine that it inserted
"(I must be really careful with this container, one brute movement and I could released it on the plane.)" - Thought Heidern while he started to remove the container from the machine slowy
"That power should have been mine!" - Mirror Heidern
"None of us should have it, is too dangerous for humans without any relation with Orochi like you and me." - Rugal
"Then why are you using it?" - Mirror Heidern
"I don't care if I overload my body and explode, I'm not letting you get away with this plan. You deranged maniac!" - Rugal
Rugal and Mirror Heidern continued their fierce fight.
"Die!" - Said Mirror Heidern throwing his technique called Cross Cutter to Rugal
Rugal managed to grab Mirror Heidern's attack with one hand and vanish it easily
"(Finally! Now the tough part is going to be deactivate it.)" - Thought Heidern finally getting the Jericho out of the machine
"(Damn it, that worm has managed to get his hands on the jericho. I must get rid of Rugal or my plans will fail.)" - Mirror Heidern
"Kaiser..." - Rugal was prepare to throw a Kaiser Wave to Mirror Heidern
"(Now is my opportunity!)" - Mirror Heidern
Mirror Heidern did a long jump and landed behind Rugal. He quickly grabed Rugal and did his technique Storm Bringer hurting Rugal and sending him flying
"ARRGHH!" - Said Rugal crashing with the walls of the plane
Mirror Heidern started walking slowy to Rugal with the inttention to finish him off
"I'm tired of you, Rugal! I'm tired of you interrupting my plans. I'll send you to hell to meet with your wife and brother." - Said Mirror Heidern
"You damn monster, you took them from me!" - Said Rugal remembering the day when Mirror Heidern having hearing rumors about Rugal's strength infiltrated in his mansion and killed his brother and wife after losing to Mirror Heidern
"Yes, I did it! And you want to know something? If I could do it again, I would do it without thinking it twice." - Mirror Heidern grabed Rugal by the neck
"Now tell me, what arm has your mechanic hand?" - Said Mirror Heidern as he choked Rugal
"It must be this one!" - Mirror Heidern looked at the hand who had a metallic glove with two tubes in it.
Mirror Heidern teared off Rugal's arm in a violent way and throwed it on the ground
"AARRRGGGH!" - Rugal yelled in pain
"Hahaha. Let's see if your pals at NEST can repair that!" - Mirror Heidern
"You...You fool! That... That was not my mechanic arm, is this one!" - Rugal used his normal looking arm and pulled Mirror Heidern's eye out of his head
"AARRRGGHH! YOU BASTARD!" - Said Mirror Heidern leaving Rugal while his eye keep bleeding like crazy
"(Almost there!)" - Thought Heidern while he was cutting the cords of the container like Ling told them during during the preparations for the mission.
Rugal and Mirror Heidern returned back to their battle stances, now with Mirror Heidern missing an eye. And Rugal missing one arm.
"Hehehe." - Rugal laughted seeing Mirror Heidern's eye bleeding
"Bastard! What's so funny?" - Mirror Heidern
"What's with that serious face of you, Heidern? Where's your typical evil grin?" . Said Rugal having never seeing his rival serious before
"Shut up!" - Mirror Heidern launched another Cross Cutter
Rugal dodged it and launched a reppuken to Mirror Heidern. Mirror Heidern dodge the attack and continued clashing strikes with Rugal
The fight continued for some more minutes with both feeling super weak now punching each other
"We are almost there, Commander." - Said the driver who went to the back of the plane to see Mirror Heidern
"Thanks for your report!" - Mirror Heidern shot the driver killing him and shocking both Rugal and Heidern
"What!?" - Heidern
"I gotta give it to you, Rugal. You're such a pest but in a few moments everything will be over." - Mirror Heidern
"You may have stopped my original plan of spreading the virus." - Mirror Heidern looked at Heidern who now had manage to deactivate the Jericho
"But there's another ways of spreading it!" - Mirror Heidern
"YOU SON OF A BITCH! Don't tell me you're planning to kill us three crashing this plane on tokyo!?" - Rugal
"Ding! Ding! That's right! The Jericho is still inside that little container, so it must still work once it breaks. But first." - Mirror Heidern
"Rugal, look out!" - Heidern saw how Mirror Heidern jumped to attack Rugal with his technique Neck Rolling
"Genocide Cutter!" - Rugal did his genocide cutter and manage to caught Mirror Heidern in the air cutting him in half
"AUUURGH!" - Yelled Mirror Heidern as he got cut in half
Mirror Heidern's corpse fell on the ground. Heidern was totally shocked but he felt a weird inner calm seeing his evil self dying on the ground
"Have a good trip to hell, Heidern!" - Said Rugal to Mirror Heidern as he was dying
Mirror Heidern was finally dead
"You did it!" - Heidern
"Yes, but this is not over yet. We need to stop this plane from crashing to tokyo." - Said Rugal grabing his shoulder trying to stop the bleeding
Rugal and Heidern went to the pilot room and Heidern took control of the plane. Showcasing a great skill flying Heidern manage to fly the plane back to Cambodia
"Resist! Once we arrive they will help you." - Said Heidern to Rugal
"Thanks, Heidern!" - Rugal passed on
Meanwhile at NEST's base
The shooting between the Ikari Warriors and the NEST's forces had ended now with the Ikari Warriors winning
"You guys manage to defeat them, that's incredible!" - Say Whip to K' and the rest seeing how they were carrying the unconscious bodies of Kyosuke and Yagami
"Believe us, it wasn't easy. Three of them are dead now." - K'
"I see you manage to beat your evil selfs too." - Said Maxima looking at Mirror Leona, Ralf and Clark's bodies
"Wait a moment! Has someone see Angel!?" - Said Blaze looking for Angel who was with them some moments ago and now was gone
"Angel, you guys saw Angel inside? Was she working with them?" - Asked Ralf
"No, she was fighting against NEST's soldiers and even helped us fighting with the inferno force." - Blaze
In that moment an helicopter appeared in the sky
The helicopter arrived to earth and five people came out of it. These five people were Vanessa, Ramon, Seth, Diana and Foxy
"So, here you are?" - Said Seth meeting with the Ikari Warriors
"The soldiers at your marine base told us you were here fighting with some duplicates. What happened?" - Said Vanessa
"Is a long story." - Clark
"Ahh don't tell us we arrived late to the party." - Ramon
In that moment Diana and Foxy took a look at Ling
"What is that scum doing with Kula!" - Diana
Diana and Foxy appeared behind Ling pointing their swords at him
"Oh, you must be the Diana and Foxy of this world." - Said Ling without turning himself to see the swords of Diana and Foxy
"Shut up! Or I'll be the end for you!" - Said both remembering Clone Zero from the events of 2000
"Wait! Diana! Foxy! This isn't who you think it is, well he is but he is from another world!" - Said Kula defending Ling
"Yes, calm down! Let us explain it." - Said Whip to The Agent Team, Diana and Foxy
Whip and Ling explained everything.
"So, let us get this Seirah. You're telling us that this man right here is a totally different person from the clone of Zero that was killed in the 2000 tournament?" - Diana
"Yes, he has been helping us since K', Kula and Maxima found him. In fact he saved them from the inferno force." - Whip
In that moment Heidern and Mirror Rugal appeared in a jeep
"Quick we need a medic!" - Heidern
"Father!" - Said Blaze shocked to see Rugal without his arm
"B...Blaze! I'm so happy to see you're fine, my dear daughter." - Said the injured Rugal
"Don't worry, father everything will be Ok! Quick! We need a medic!" - Blaze
"I'm a medic! Help me take him to the helicopter." - Say Lindsay appearing and taking Mirror Rugal body in her arms
"What happened to the Heidern of my world?" - Asked Ling to Heidern
"He is finally gone! His corpse is on the plane in the hangar he was using for hidding weapons." - Heidern
"And what happened to the Jericho. Did you manage to deactivate it?" - Ling
"Yes. Follow me!" - Heidern took Ling to the jeep he and Rugal used to return to the base.
Heidern gave Ling the container now deactivated of the Jericho
"Once I managed to deactivate it, your world's Heidern wanted to crash the plane with us inside on the streets on Tokyo wanting to spread it." - Heidern
"That bastard was totally decided to spread the virus one way or another." - Ling
"Thank you, Heidern. I'm glad that our mission was succesful!" - Ling
On the horizon the sun started appearing. It was dawn now.
"Come on, there's still alot of stuff we need to do before closing this case." - Heidern
Somewhere else
A bike was crossing the highway as the sun started to shine. Riding the bike it was not other than Angel
"(What a day! And to think I was just there to destroy that NEST's base and I got caught on in some kind of interdimensional war or something like that.)" - Angel
"(Still I can't rest yet knowing that there's more NEST's remnants out there. I swear on his grave that I wouldn't stop until I have make them pay.)" - Angel remembered the promise she did in front of certain grave with the number 9999 carved on it
Ikari Warriors's Marine Base
The Ikari Warriors's and their allies had reunited in the marine base.
"So that's the story of ourselves from your world?" - Said Foxy to Blaze after hearing her story
"Yes, let's just say that I remember you two being really kind to me before you turned on NEST." - Blaze
Ramon, Vanessa and Seth were on the morgue. Interested in seeing the bodies of their versions of the other world
"Wow, never thought I would see myself in this state. It felts so surreal." - Vanessa
"I know he was supposed to be an evil guy but I can't help but feeling really bad for this guy." - Said Ramon seeing the decapitated corpse of his other world self
"I don't know what I suppose to say about this bucket of shattered ice?" - Said Seth looking at what was left of his other world's self
On the interrogatory room
"You're really a tough one, aren't you?" - Said Whip to Kyosuke Kusanagi now sporting a electric collar and handcuffed to be controlled
"What do you want with me, woman? A autograph? A date? If you haven't notice by the ring, I'm married." - Kyosuke
"Don't play games with me! You know what I want, I want you to tell us if there's any other NEST's remnants that you saw in this interdimensional trip of you, Kusanagi." - Whip
"That's all! Well, sorry to disappoint you but I only saw the NEST's remnant that was on that cave." - Said Kyosuke cleary lying
"You son of a bitch! You're clearly lying, don't make me use that collar on you." - Whip
"Go ahead! Kill me while you can! Because I assure you once I get out of prison, one of the first things I'll do is come here and blow this little base to pieces. But not before choking you to death with that little whip of yours!" - Said Kyosuke threatening Whip
"Whip. Leave him, we will be able to find the rest of NEST's remnants on our own. Don't waste your time with him." - Said Leona to her partner
"... Alright." - Whip and Leona took the captured Kusanagi out of the room
On the main room Ramon, Vanessa and Ralf were talking
"Wow, are you serious!?" - Ramon
"Yes, K' and Maxima together... As a couple! Hahaha." - Said Ralf telling Ramon and Vanessa about the K' and Maxima of the other world
"Hahaha, I would love to see their counterparts!" - Vanessa
Hearing all of this was K' who looked back at the three with murderous eyes, making them stop talking
"I don't know what's worse? Being an evil woman in another world or being mocked by our former teammates for that." - Maxima
"The most irritating thing is knowing that my version of that stupid world and yours are in a relationship..." - Said K' leaving the room
In another part of the main room Leona and Blaze were having a conversation
"I see, I never thought we would have so much in common." - Blaze
"Sometimes I wonder how life could have been if Heidern hadn't find me that day... And I remember how thankful I am for being here." - Leona
"Same, sometimes I wonder where I would be if it was for my father Rugal." - Blaze
2 weeks happened after the fight with the invaders of the Mirror World. Ling and Blaze thanks to the help of the technicians and soldiers of the Ikari Warriors managed to rebuilt the teletransport device to return to back to their world.
Blaze went to see her father Rugal to tell him te news.
"Father, the teletransport device has been completed!" - Blaze
"Really? I thought it would take more time." - Said Rugal now sporting his new mechanical arm
Ling, Blaze and Rugal reunited with the Ikari Warriors to prepare the device
"Preparing coordinates... Done!" - Said Ling configuring the device
"Earth 3?" - Heidern
"Yes, that's home." - Blaze
"Once we are gone, promise me you will destroy it! We don't want this device to fall in the wrong hands." - Ling
"Roger that!" - Heidern
Ling and Blaze alongside the captured fugitives of Mirror World where standing up in the center of the device to start the machine
"This last weeks have certainly been weird." - Rugal
"Tell me about it. I never thought I would be working with you in my life, but I guess that just shows how unpredictable life is." - Heidern
"Take care, Heidern!" - Rugal
"Same, I wish you good luck to you and Blaze." - Heidern
"Commander!" - Said Blaze doing a salute to Heidern in sign of respect
"Blaze, take care." - Said Heidern doing a salute to her now
The Ikari Warriors did a salute as the machine started. Saying goobye to their allies from Earth 3 as they started vanishing in the air
Heidern and the Ikari Warriors stopped saluting after they were gone.
"Alright, team. We need to destroy the device now." - Said Heidern
White House - Earth 3
The president of the united states Igniz was talking on the phone when suddenly one of his assistants appeared
"Mr. President! We have an important call for you." - Assistant
"Who is it? I'm kinda busy at the moment." - Igniz
"Is a call from someone called Ling." - Assistant
After hearing that name, Igniz was forced to end his current call
"Sorry, Judy. But something came out." - Igniz
Igniz answer the call of Ling
"Ling, what happened? It has been weeks since I send you to Cambodia." - Igniz
"Oh is a large story, my friend." - Ling
