Duncan's looks changed a lot since his days on "Total Drama". The infamous green mohawk he had was gone, and was replaced by a buzzcut fade hairstyle. His eyebrow piercing, as well as his cartilage piercings were also removed, and his green cargo shorts were evident as he exited his car, and the short-sleeved grey shirt revealing all of his tattoo-less, muscular arms. He grumbled as he made his way through the parking lot to enter the building, and the green screen room that he was told about.
Josh knew that Duncan was going to be another difficult one, but hoping that DJ was able to tell his friend that the interview was easy, causing him to be easygoing today. When he saw the former contestant, he was shocked, and was stuttering "W... Dun...Wow... You look so..."
"Different, I know. You don't have to make a deal about it," the former delinquent muttered, taking his seat across from Josh.
"Dull, plain, un-Duncan. What happened to the piercings? What happened to the tattoos, what happened to the mohawk? You look like BRICK from "ROTI". Do you even have your tongue ring?" Josh reacted in a mortified, and shocked manner.
Duncan stuck out his tongue, "The ladies love the tongue piercing. It really gets them going. And I didn't get rid of all my tattoos. There's one on my chest, look?" He lifted up his shirt to reveal a skull tattoo on his left pectoral.
"I see prison has done good on your pecs, arms, and abs. Anyways, we're going to get right to it. I am going to give you a name, and a picture of one of the contestants you're played with over the course of the show, and you're going to tell me your opinions on them, and how your relationships with them were like on and off the show," the former "Manhunt' host explained. He went to grab the first picture, "How is your relationship with Alejandro?"
Duncan took his picture, and sighed in irritation, "Alejandro... It was clear to me from the beginning that he was brought on to spice up the show. I showed up, and Noah exposed him immediately, so my head was telling me to watch out for him. He tried to vote me out next, but of course failed, and then he realized that he should side with me, because he claimed I'm a "producer pet". From my few interactions with him so far, his cynical, and also physical humor was funny to me, so I thought he was "alright". I knew what he did with Bridgette and Leshawna, since it went around pretty quickly, so I thought it was a good idea for him to do the same with Courtney to send her home. Despite that, I didn't know all of the details until Owen spilled the details. It was honestly nice to have someone like Al around, someone as cunning, smart, and as fit as I was to work with as an ally. I never really got that with DJ, Geoff, and Owen in my prior seasons. I will admit, he's a badass, and I like working with badasses."
Josh let out a faux sigh, "Awwww, Duncan actually seeing someone as an equal... Anyways, he mentioned that you threw him under the bus to Owen, and that caused your short-lived friendship to end. What's your perspective of things?"
"Okay, so Alejandro made it clear very early on how much he HATED Owen. I think things took a turn in Sweden, because he soon realized that he made a HUGE mistake in booting Tyler instead of Owen or I. They didn't show it on the edit, because they wanted to keep up his "mastermind" edit. These were his words; he realized that he was the 3rd on the total pole, due to Owen and I being bigger producer pets, and us being close friends. He went on this LONG rant about how Owen doesn't do anything, but is the biggest producer pet for no reason. I told Owen this, and we agreed to vote Alejandro out. He knew that I told Owen about everything he said, and Owen can't hide when he doesn't trust anyone. We started arguing a lot, because he was making fun of Owen, and I knew something was off with him and Courtney. Something happened between them after Australia, and I asked him a few times what happened, and whatever did happen, I would be cool with it. He denied ANYTHING happened, and I didn't find out about it until right before "All-Stars", so there was that tension happening as well due to that."
"He did mention that you were jealous of his increasing relationship with Courtney, but he also mentioned that you agreed with him about Owen being an unjust producer pet, and that's why you agreed to vote him out, but you didn't tell Owen that. He claims that you were jealous of him being the highest-priority male as the season went on, and even during "All-Stars". "
Duncan could not help but roll his eyes, "Alejandro is the most paranoid dude on the cast, which says A LOT. I did vote Owen out, but it was a game move, and no one was really protecting him anyways, so sticking my neck out for him wasn't smart. He was always trying to one-up me in challenges, in who was stronger, in who was more strategic, and it was odd. I think a part of his inferiority complex came in, since I was the only formidable male there, and I also found it odd that he was keeping Heather around. I would later realize that I should have gotten rid of Alejandro in the merge instead of Owen, since he used Heather to backstab me brutally. We actually did get along once we were on the yacht, since EVERYONE was coming after him, and I had beef with a lot of the guys at the time. We agreed to make amends, and that we would be better off as friends. Alejandro made me laugh, and I know that he appreciated my presence, since when he wasn't being attacked, he was being shunned. He took that for granted, of course."
"Wow. You actually referred to him as a friend, which was probably the main problem. Alejandro doesn't have friends," Josh added in.
"Due to us being mad at most of the male cast, we agreed to block them from getting into "All-Stars". Within the first 2-3 days, Heather tells me that Alejandro and Courtney made out in "World Tour". I go and SNAP at him, because we were cool for a year, and I pressed him on the actual season several times, only for him to POINTLESSLY lie. I said that he was a compulsive liar, and I guess that report that Dorkus Harold put out about your family hating you was correct. Al got mad, and said that I needed to be someone's bitch in prison, because even Courtney was tired of how feminine I supposedly was, and how he was a better lover to her than I could ever be. They got into it, and then I was going to mention about how he was faking injuries, but then he punched me in my face. The entire cast separated us, and we barely spoke after that. Going into the merge, I tried to suss him out, so I would make a joke, or a reference to see if he would warm up. He did not. When it was time for the halfway party, I outright asked him if he would enter an alliance with me. He told me to fuck off because I spoke to his brother in the last challenge, and that I'm a rat like my rat cop parents. I told him that the pictures his brother showed me of his scrawny, noticeably darker, janky-tooth self did all of the talking, when he came to visit like a day or two prior. I pulled his hair, and pounded his head several times. All of our interactions was him trying to remind me how much "better" he was than me, and I was over it. Haven't spoken to him since."
Josh grabbed his cup of tea to sip, before making an exaggerated parched noise, "Well, he didn't mention the latter part to me, but it makes sense why, if he got beat up. What are your thoughts on fellow finalist Beth? I found it weird that she won, only to never be seen on "Total Drama' again."
Duncan was given her picture, and all he could do was shrug, "I rarely spoke to her. We were on opposite teams the first season, and she was booted early. We were on opposite teams on our second season, and we only started to interact because Beth wanted dirt on Courtney, and our relationship especially. Depending on the mood I'm in, or if Courtney pissed me off, I would indulge, but Beth and I didn't have much of a relationship. We somewhat got along during the end, but it was nothing substantial. I did find a lot of her stories and tales to be confusing, since she would often claim she is dating someone, and in another minute, she would flirt with 2 males. She is in general, very off. There's nothing there."
The interviewer cackled when he saw the next person, "You... you're going to LOVE this". He handed him the picture of the blonde woman, and heard Duncan groan in disgust, "You and Bridgette's relationship seemed... tumultuous to say the least. I hope things got better."
"Ugh, she was horrible then, and she's horrible now. I always thought something was off and fake about her "peace hippie" thing going on, and she revealed over the years that I was right. I wanted her gone very early, but I knew that no one would go for it. Whenever we tried to have a conversation, it just went absolutely nowhere, and I could tell she wasn't interested at all. It was odd, because she would lecture me about bullying Harold, but she would make sly comments like she did to Tyler when he was booted, when she failed the challenge as well. I also just found her clumsiness to be a hindrance, and we lost several early challenges over it. Geoff told me that he liked her, and wanted my genuine opinion, so I told him it; she is off, her stories and personality does not make sense, she is a hindrance in team performances, and is not as nice as she pretends to be. She was also telling our plans to people like Harold and Sadie, so that's a conflict of interest. Once they were booted, I told her that she should be lucky that she made it this far, and we got into a HUGE fight. She made fun of my piercings, and blamed me for Courtney getting kicked off, I made fun of her weight and clumsiness. From that moment on, I knew I was getting rid of her ASAP, but the first 2 merge boots were what we called "house votes", where essentially everyone voted for one person. I realized that booting Trent was a mistake, so I used the guys alliance to boot Bridgette."
"That lines up with what she said. You two were just oil and water from the very beginning, and I wished they showed more of this conflict. It comes off like you were jealous of their relationship. I mean, Geoff was supportive of you and Courtney, and your relationship was horrible. You always made fun of their relationship, and you come off like a hater," Josh admitted, partially stating his opinion, but also wanting to stir some mess.
Duncan could not help but make an obnoxious cackle at that comment, "BAHAHAHAHAHA! BRO, you are HIGH AS FUCK to EVER say that shit to me. Jealous of WHAT? Bridgette in real life is clingy, needy, obsessive, insecure, angry, and a pain in the ass. Geoff was complaining about her being JEALOUS of his popularity so much, so I told him that if she makes him unhappy, he should leave her. Geoff and I would fall out, and I first saw her cheating scandal on the show. I made a tweet about it, and she LOSES HER MIND. She wanted to bring up my cheating scandal, and while BOTH were wrong, I stated that the difference was that there's an EMOTIONAL bond between Gwen and I, and she just cheated with the first pair of ass and dick she saw, and her idea of making them an open relationship brought her situation to light. She tried to fight me at the finale party for "World Tour", and when we were on the yacht, she BLAMED ME for Geoff's overdose, and got mad at me for revealing their open relationship online. I told her that he got into drugs in the first place BECAUSE of her. Bridgette threw a drink AND the glass at me next. I went to their wedding to support Geoff, and I was on my best behavior. Trent and Harold provoked me the entire time, and the one time I respond, Bridgette runs over to kick me out. I believe she set that up to make sure I wasn't there to see them exchange vows. I could go ON AND ON, but I am going to be nice in respect to Geoff."
"Trust me, the feeling is DEFINITELY mutual. I KNEW you would be a good interviewee. It's time to discuss another enemy you made on the show, in the form of Cody. Damn, you have a lot of enemies."
He saw Josh try to give him the picture, but he outright refused, pushing it back, "Don't hand me a picture of that loser. Cody wanted beef with me SO BADLY because he knew that he was irrelevant, and was only put on the season because they really wanted Sierra. He hid behind her all season. I had genuine beef with Trent, genuine beef with Harold, and even Justin. I'm assuming he let his Drama Bitches talk and gas him up, or Cody felt like he had to prove something. Once he realized that Gwen was rejecting him for ANOTHER man, he decided to punch me. Okay, I didn't do anything to him, but if he wanted to CREATE a problem, I am the MASTER at EXCELLING in problems. In Australia, I taught him a lesson that people like Gwen and Trent should have, if they were his friends. STAY. OUT. OF. PEOPLE'S. BUSINESS. I taught him a lesson when I beat him up after Area 51, and to taunt him as much as possible afterwards. Cody learnt his lesson, and never messed with me again. I am NOT shocked that he isn't friends with Gwent. Now don't ask me about him again."
Josh gave a sly grin, "Fine by me, since this next person will be the JUICIEST person you have to talk about. How do you feel about Courtney now, and how do you see your relationship with her throughout the show?"
The formerly mohawked man sighed heavily, and shrunk down on his seat, "Hell, we might as well get her over with now. She was an annoying, goody-two-shoes, obsessive, perfectionistic, narcissistic, controlling nuisance on "Island", and she seemingly has a lot of those traits now. At the same time, she was an exhilarating, fiery, ambitious, sexy, confident, resilient, beautiful, charismatic, intelligent treasure at the same time. It was former for the first few challenges in "Island", but something started to change. Yeah, she was always attractive, but when she cuddled against me a few times during the camping challenge, I guess in my mind, I realized that there was somewhat of a spark, and I should go for it. Things were only solidified when she helped me face my fear in the next challenge. So I started teasing her more and more. I remember the custard fight we had, and our antlers getting stuck together. She then caught me trying to find a bunny for them, and I... confided in her. There was a lot more to that which wasn't shown. You know what happened next with that season." He started to slightly blush at all of the memories, "Man, we had a lot of great moments on "Island". "
Josh could not help but smile when he saw Duncan's warming demeanor, "You sound like you really miss her, even today. I remember you two talking about your lives, and how it lead to the kiss. All of the viewers were so happy for you both, and you would carve stuff about her even after she left. What changed?"
The happy face Duncan had instantly went cold, and guarded, "Courtney... ditched me after I battled a shark for her in the special. That bothered me more than she cared to realize, and more than I cared to admit for the longest time. We decided to part ways after that, as I was going on "Action" without her, but I still kept a picture of her. When she came back, I was thrilled, but very shocked and taken aback. I did not know how to act around her, and I didn't know where we stood. That side of her that I saw in the special, I was hoping that it was just a rare moment, but... she acted like that throughout this entire season. Right after Owen was booted, I pulled her to the side, and I wanted to know where she was at. Courtney told me that she saw how I was with Gwen, knew that I liked her, and that she will do everything she can to not destroy her second chance, even if it meant destroying me. I told her that I was still upset about what happened at the special, and while Gwen and I were friends, I also wanted to make her jealous. I knew she wanted to sue the show, but all of the rules she enlisted was too much, and I told her that. She wanted to tear me down in challenges, so of course I was going to tear her down in challenges back. The affectionate side of her came back during the merge challenge, and it... felt really good. The Courtney that I fell in love with was back. So we made out heavily after the challenge, and I whispered in her ear that I love her, and I want to make love to her. She didn't give in until Leshawna was booted, and I wanted to... tame The Human Cricket."
Josh tried to not throw up with that line, "That was... gross and pathetic. Your events are lining up with hers so far. Now hurry up and get to the end of the season. Why did things fall off again?"
"I saw that she was mad that I didn't want us to officially go out again, since I knew that she cared about the competition more than she cared about me. We were strategizing together, which did get stressful, and were sleeping with one another at that point too. She knew that I was trying to get a rise out of her, and I guess she had enough, so she gave me that 32 FUCKING PAGE LETTER. She had me memorize it, and RIPPED ME APART inside. I was FURIOUS, and I was done with her after that. Once Beth won, I forgot about all of that because Courtney was still supporting me, so I asked her for dinner, and it was a great official first date. We agreed that we would meet our families. While it wasn't shocking that my old ones loved hers, I was shocked that her parents liked me."
"Things fell apart again though. Go through the process of what it was like dating her in real life."
A huge smile crept upon his face, "It was AMAZING. She wanted me to have a room in her home, and she had a room in my home as well. We would go on these weekly picnics, as an ode to what happened in the military challenge on "Island". Courtney was the daring woman that I fell in love with again, and I was cleaning up. Geoff came back into my life, and things went downhill. He had a deal that was set up with trading some weed and stuff, and asked me to get involved, so I did. Courtney was also getting paranoid that Gwen and I were still speaking to one another, despite me telling her that Gwen was a nonfactor. Geoff ended up ditching me in the plan, and DJ made his disgust for it known, so I got arrested, and Courtney's house was raided. I stayed in jail for a few weeks, and she told me that she wanted me to rot in there for a while. DJ bailed me out, and I got him to plan a date with her, hoping things would be forgiven. The infamous fight at the dinner took place because she didn't forgive me, and threw a bunch of nasty stuff in my face. She then sued me for custody over Brittany, and what people didn't know is that our raccoon Brittany was taken by animal control a bit after the special, and before the season, so we were both mourning. Once I saw her at the Gemmies, old feelings came up, and I got turned on when I saw her rip that tv off. It had been lonely without her, but I WAS conflicted, because Gwen and I were speaking beforehand."
He could not help but raise his eyebrows, "So you were flirting with Gwen even before "World Tour"... Why did you quit, and what was your thought process in the first half, where you weren't in the competition or the Aftermaths? It seemed like you were the one who screwed things up in real life, but didn't want to put in the work. I was told that you two made an agreement to clear things up with one another privately before going to anyone else, so you quitting kind of ruined that."
"You HAVE to think about it in this context. I essentially made it to the end of TWO SEASONS; BOTH were filmed BACK-TO-BACK. I was nervous about that NASTY side of Courtney coming out on this new season, and the way she was arguing with Gwen brought out A LOT of fears. I needed a GENUINE break to get myself together, and the airing of "Action" that took over a year to complete DOES NOT count. I went to Sweden, Texas, Italy, and Scotland, since I never really got a chance to travel, and I knew that traveling with the show came with a bunch of stipulations. I thought about my life before the show, where it is now, and where it could go in the future, and I realized that I MISS my old life, and tried to figure out how to attain it. I saw that my old band was playing in London, and I was already in Scotland, so I decided to take a trip. We had a discussion about me losing touch with them, and how I missed my old life. They told me that I have to get rid of everything, and everyone that gave me this "new life", and to surround myself with people who reminded me of my old life. Gwen reminded me of my old life, and I realized that the Courtney in "Island" was a dream, and our relationship on that season was a fantasy that was never going to be executed properly in reality."
Josh did not like how this was being spun, and called it out, "So you decided to not even hear Courtney out when she was RIGHTFULLY MAD that you bailed on her, and didn't even give her the COUTESY to have a conversation about your dwindling feelings, but you cheated on her with Gwen, did so publicly, and went out of your way to hide it. After that, you sent Alejandro to play with her feelings after she was humiliated and gaslight by you and Gwen."
Duncan's face became more strained and stressed as they continued talking about the situation, "I... I DIDN'T handle it the best, I will admit it. But I DID NOT NEED to hear her YELL at me as soon as I came back. We agreed to SPEAK; NOT YELL whenever there was an issue or problem. We didn't even have a proper conversation about how we would fix our relationship when we did get back together before the season. When things did blow up, I did try to apologize, but then she responded my KICKING ME IN THE BALLS. When she started flirting with Tyler, I was honestly REALLY insulted. I got that she was mad, but TYLER? OF ALL PEOPLE? The gloves were off by that point, and I wouldn't have even came up with the idea of Al flirting with Courtney if she didn't flirt with Tyler first. She was trying to get a rise out of me by continuing to flirt with Alejandro, and I was exhausted by it, especially after Gwen was booted. I did try to get into an alliance with her during the merge, since Alejandro NEEDED to get taken care of, but she rejected, and it was then where I realized something else happened between them. We were booted soon after, and she was OBSESSED with singing this TIRED ASS SONG, and I remember after the Aftermath was filmed, but before the finalists arrived, Gwen and I were hanging with LeSharold and Lyler by the beach, getting our love on, and she went OUT OF HER WAY to sing that song, so I threw the shoe at her. We didn't really speak after that, and whenever I did try to bother her in "All-Stars", she ignored me. We haven't spoken since."
Josh rolled his eyes, "So I see you are sticking with that lie, like Courtney did a few days ago."
"What the HELL are you talking about Josh. You really need to..." Duncan spat out, before his mouth dropped when Josh provided pictures of him and Courtney at Geoff and Bridgette's wedding. His facial expressions got more angry, fearful, and white as each picture dropped. One of them showed them sitting beside one another having a laugh, another picture showed them dancing, the third picture showed Duncan grinding on Courtney, the fourth picture showed Courtney throwing a cake at Duncan in a laughing matter, a fifth picture showed Courtney liking cake off Duncan, a sixth picture showed Duncan leading Courtney out of the room. Duncan snatched Josh by his collar, and pulled him over the table, "Where the FUCK DID YOU GET THESE PICTURES FROM? You're out of your GOTDAMN MIND to DIG THESE."
He tried to remove his shirt from Duncan's grip, "We dug for any information, and threatened Geoff that the show him and Bridgette is being worked on will be cancelled, if he didn't give us any information on the two of you. Courtney also didn't react well when I blindsided her with these pictures. I also have some pictures of you two arriving back, with both of your hair messed up, cum on her clothes, your pants being unzipped and falling down, your shirt being ripped, and..." Josh was shut up when Duncan slammed his face on the table.
All he saw was red when slamming and holding Josh down to the table, "GEOFF? I HATE HIM sometimes. This is low, EVEN FOR YOU FUCKFACE. I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS SHIT." A few producers had to run over to try and separate them, before Duncan started throwing blows. "GET OFF ME, AND DON'T TOUCH ME LIKE THAT."
"LET HIM GO, LET HIM GO."
"YOU WILL GET SUED, AND GO BACK TO PRISON IF YOU DON'T GET OFF."
With the mention of prison, Duncan immediately let go, and went back to his seat, pulling it back so he wouldn't tempt himself with hurting Josh again, "You're LUCKY I don't want to go to prison, but DO NOT test me like that EVER again. I don't like surprises like that."
Josh fixed himself up, and sent the producers back, before sitting down again, "That was VERY uncalled for. Anyways, Courtney didn't even get to explain these events. What happened, and where are you two now?"
A slight blush formed on his face, "It had been a little less than a decade since we had a proper conversation, and about 6-7 years since I saw her in "All-Stars". I was told ahead of time that she was going to be there, so I prepared what I would say to her. It was at the dinner before the wedding, where we sat together, and I told her that I would like to say something to her. We had a last-minute dress rehearsal, and I saw her in her tight dress, with the sexy bob haircut that she had. I didn't want to focus on her looks, but to have a conversation with her. I was in my nice suit, and she clearly liked what I was wearing. She mentioned that she was shocked that I started cleaning up, removed most of my tattoos, cut my hair, etc. I told her that I wanted to change my life, and I made a lot of mistakes. I apologized to her for everything that happened on the show, and she shockingly apologized to me for everything. By the time of the wedding, we were fine, and it was nice to have some fun. Those pictures was us having fun like we did in the Basic Training challenge, so we... hooked up. But after it happened, we knew it was an illusion, so it was actually a... goodbye. It gave us proper closure."
"That's nice that we got the full story, since Courtney wasn't gonna give it to us. Anyways, DJ was your best friend on the show. How in the hell did that happen, since you two are complete opposites. You are obsessed with being bad, and he is obsessed with being good."
Duncan rolled his eyes at Josh's insistence on being annoying, "DJ was the tallest, and strongest person on the camp, so I figured he would be a badass. I was clearly off on that read, but he was the least annoying person on the cast. He told me about his backstory, which was somewhat relatable, since we both had rough ones, but I was shocked that he liked stuff like ballet, cooking for a career, and was obsessed with his mama. I guess it must be nice to have loving parents. He got along with Geoff, and I started getting along with Geoff, so we all just kind of clicked. I had more conversations with DJ though, since he's a better conversationalist in general, and less shady. He couldn't lie to save his ass, so he's very readable, and was a solid ally."
Josh was getting bored, "Yeah yeah. What happened with the bunny situation? Why did you go so far to get him a new bunny? Was it because you were protecting Geoff, or protecting DJ? You have to choose one?"
"There was no one-or-another situation. I knew that this could cause a rift in their friendship, and while I didn't want that for either of them, it was NOT good for my game. Harold and Sadie were already trying to Bridgette to vote with them, and if one of Geoff or DJ was convinced to join their side, it was trouble for me. Geoff being distracted by Bridgette caused the bunny to die, but I couldn't blame it on her, and I didn't want to deal with Geoff's overwhelming guilt. And, DJ didn't deserve to have that happen to him, since he told me about all of his fears, and how much he liked animals. We got along for the rest of the season, and we didn't have any problems from "Island". "
"What did you think about DJ's secret alliance with Chef in "Action"? Did you find him to be shady for being a part of it?"
The former mohawked man shrugged his shoulders, "He told me that he was stuck in a bad decision a while before he left, and I kind of figured out that he was stuck in a situation with Chef. There were rumors going around that DJ was Chef's long-lost son, and that Chef was trying to do some weird stuff with him, but no one saw it as an alliance. We were cool throughout "Action". "
Josh wanted to be messy, "But he voted for Beth over you. How did you feel about that? I found it to be shady."
"To be honest, I was annoyed about it, and I talked to him about it afterwards. He told me that he thought that Beth would use the money in a wiser way than I would have, especially with Courtney trying to get to the money. I let that situation go, and we were friends for many years afterwards."
"I remember you and DJ having a fallout after "All-Stars". You tweeted something about shady friends, he tweeted back at you, you tweeted back at him, and things got nasty. I was shocked that it was you and him arguing, since it seemed like something you would do with Jeff. What was up with that?"
The bad memories caused him to shake his head, "DJ was acting different after "World Tour", and I got it, because of his poor experience with that animal curse. We still got along after that, but we were not hanging out as much as we used to. I do think a part of it has to do with his mother controlling who he hung with, since she didn't like most of his TD friends. When I got arrested, I was at least expecting him to send me a letter, or a DM, but it had been months. He, along with my family didn't do ANYTHING, so I ranted. He said something about me blowing money, acting like a 14 year old, and he was going to "see me" in prison. Once he arrived, I called him a pussy who is still halfway in his mother's vagina, and of course he got mad, saying something about at least he has a loving parent, and that I have no friends. If the plastic glass wasn't there, I would have beaten him up. I didn't speak to him for years, even after I got out. It literally wasn't until Geoff's engagement party where we made up, and DJ told me that I was right about him needing to be his own person, and not his mom's person. We've been close ever since."
Josh gave Duncan the next two pictures, "So it's time to talk about the first 2 boots EVER from "Total Drama". What do you think about them? I am assuming that you don't have much of an opinion on either one of them."
His face was borderline unreadable, as he tried to think about two people that he rarely interacted with forever ago, "I don't have much of an opinion on Ezekiel. He had a lot to learn about the real world when we were on the "Island", I didn't see him at all for the next 2 seasons, and then he turned into a Gollum who attacked me in Africa. Hopefully he has gotten better since then, but I have no opinion on him. Eva I did find to be batshit crazy, and if she didn't have that meltdown against the girls, I would have wanted to keep her around. She was an obvious merge boot, and I knew she hated Bridgette, so I spoke to her before the challenge that we could be in alliance, and I was hoping that she won the invincibility. It was a major reason why I didn't vote for her. I didn't get to spend any time with her from that point onwards, and through the next two seasons. We shockingly... bonded when we were on the boat, and she liked my style. When I came out of prison, she shockingly helped me out. Eva's cool in my books."
"I'm shocked. Anyways, your other trio amigo Geoff is next. We saw you two be in a clique with DJ, and he ALWAYS supported you with your endeavors, pursuing Courtney, and bullying Harold for no reason, but you... NEVER had his back. You tried to ruin his relationship for no reason, voted him out twice when there were other people to vote out, and consistently threw him under the bus," Josh rubbed in, enjoying Duncan squirming.
The reformed man trailed and eyed around the room nervously, before defending himself, "WHY are you making it seem like I hate Geoff?"
"Because it kind of comes off like you are jealous of him, and threw him under the bus. He was supporting you, but you never supported him. Once he became his own person, you didn't encourage him to be the best Geoff he could be, but you ridiculed him. What do you have to say for yourself?"
He growled at the unnecessary vitriol, "CAN IT, will you? Anyways, Geoff was always a fun, chill guy that was easy to hang out with, so we became friends pretty quickly. Honestly, he was telling me that Courtney was crushing on me before I thought of it, and he tried to get us to hook up for several challenges, which is ironic since he was struggling himself. We had a lot of good times back then, messing with Harold, and all of that other stuff. I noticed that there was a... I don't want to say darkness, but there's another side to Geoff that he likes to hide, and all of his conversations are surface-level ones. He never wanted to focus on "anything negative bra", and wanted to talk about anything serious. While I wanted to protect him from dealing with DJ's wrath with the bunny, I did find it to be VERY shady, and Bridgette was once again involved. There was the incident in the merge, where he went out of his way to help Bridgette, and while that situation wasn't a big deal, it was just another example of Geoff being untrustworthy. He started to let his guard down A BIT more when we were on the guys resort, as we all told one another a bunch of our past stories, and Geoff knew how to make a sick cocktail, as well as a sick playlist. Even then, he spent more time with Trent than anyone else, and I would later find out that Geoff told his entire life story to Trent, which he didn't even tell me at that time. The Bridgette vote happened, and we threw his ass outside of the cabin to sleep upside down."
Josh shook his head in disapproval, "That was uncalled for? So what happened after DJ left?"
"We didn't speak at all... We actually got into an argument because I told him that I do not trust him, he's the reason why DJ ended up going due to ditching him, Geoff should have been booted instead, and he said something along the lines of being a serious debbie downer, and a negative nancy. Owen separated us before things got really bad, since I could have done something horribly wrong. Geoff never took accountability for his actions, and I knew that I would boot him soon. We kind of made up once I was booted, and we had a fun party at finale night, but him and Bridgette got caught up in their stuff, and I was dealing with my own issues."
"So you both are shady as hell. I can't say that's surprising, but it does come off like you wanted a lackey, and not a friend. DJ was always going to be more of a lackey. How were you and Geoff after the game, and in real life?"
Duncan started to smile again, before he stopped, "I don't remember how it happened, but I think I reached out to him first, since DJ, Owen and I were planning a guys night, and Geoff would make it so much better. I told him that I missed him, he said that he missed me. We actually started confiding about our relationship issues, took vacations together, and even went into business together. What was supposed to be a weed business turned into a minor drug ring, as I realized that we could get a bigger deal. We fell out again because Bridgette put her foot down, and because the deal was getting too hectic, so he withdrew from it, and didn't even TELL anyone that he did. And the worst part of it is that he didn't even call me when I was arrested. Luckily the case went nowhere, but we didn't speak for over a year, until I was asked about Bridgette and Geoff's cheating scandal. Once I responded that I wasn't shocked with her behavior, Geoff sent me a VERY ANGRY voicemail, and when we saw one another on the yacht, it was UGLY. He wanted to confront me about the comments on social media, and I blew him off. It wasn't until DJ and I got together where he and I went back and forth for HOURS, and then DJ slipped in his commentary. He told me to fuck off and drown, I told him to shove a cork down his throat, and we almost went for blows. DJ somehow got involved, and Al had to pry me away from fighting Geoff. We didn't speak until I was in prison, where he sent me a letter. I didn't respond to it, but I did reach out again once he was on the spinoff show. I went to the party thanks to Owen bringing me, and we made up, and apologized for everything that ever happened. Geoff and I both had some growing up to do, we both had our own rehabilitation stories, we grew up, and we're closer now than we've ever been now."
