Dimensional Warrior

Epilogue

Harry stood on Gaia's moon, a massive grey rock the size of the earth. Each movement sent grey dust floating into the void of space.

He stared at the planet he had helped build with an elder goddess's help. It had been six months since his defeat of Brainiac. The gates had been restored.

A crystal octagon now sat where alchemical solutions once did in every country.

A great influx of mutants happened when the gates were back up and running. All of them eager to be free of Earth's drama.

"You know, you had me worried when you disappeared," Gaia said appearing a few feet behind him. Her long brown hair flowing down the back of her dark green silk gown, her rich brown eyes staring at him with warmth.

"It's not like I did it on purpose."

She moved beside him, slipping her arm through his, "So, what do you plan to do now?"

"There are over a thousand cities that need to be settled on habitable worlds, I think I'll be busy for a while."

"Do you need any help?"

Harry glanced at her, "Wouldn't you be spreading yourself a little thin?"

Gaia shook her head, her rich brown hair swaying back and forth, "Children are starting to be born on our new world, and the earth is cleaner than it has been in decades with the elves and dwarves' help. I'll be fine."

Harry turned to face Gaia, "If you're sure," he offered her his hands.

Gaia clasped his wrist.

Together, they close their eyes.

Auras of power exploded around them as they focused.

A wave of dark green energy washed out from their feet, consuming the moon within seconds.

The magnetic force around the planet shifted as the atmosphere grew thicker.

Wind was the first thing to appear, swirling grey dust into the air as the clouds formed?

Rain fell onto the moon for the first time, turning the light grey sand to dark grey mud.

Sparks of green energy danced along the ground with each raindrop that hit the dirt.

The very ground beneath their feet began to change, going from a dark grey to a rich brown almost black, as grass emerged underneath their feet.

The ground shook as trees exploded upward, growing leaves on fast-forward.

Finally waves of power wrapped around the moon stretching outward towards Gaia to sink the two celestial bodies orbits.

Releasing a breath, both opened their eyes.

For a long moment, they just stared at each other.

"That was intense," Harry said in a slightly breathy voice.

"Creating life always is," Gaia responded, a slight curve to her lips.

Still holding arms, they turned to stare out at their work, taking in the clouds that swam across the night sky.

"We're going to need to place some animals here."

"The two species I've chosen to inhabit this world should have some of their original animals from their home planets."

Gaia raised an eyebrow, "Oh, who did you choose."

"After much discussion, I chose the Tamaraneans and the Kryptonians."

"You found out how to return them to their original sizes."

"That was the easy part compared to getting them to agree to the magical contract, the Tamaraneans didn't mind, but the Kryptonians have a disdain for magic."

"How did you discover how to return them to their normal size?"

Harry tapped his temple, "By psychically linking with the greatest minds from each planet and Galahad of the Metal Born, I was able to absorb and compare all the knowledge the species had gathered. Ironically, each one had discovered a small part of how to miniaturize worlds. Once I understood the process, it was relatively simple to reverse engineer it."

Gaia patted his cheek, "Such as smart boy."

Ignoring her remark, Harry stared out at the other planets that orbited Gaia's star, "So, which planet do you want to do next?"

Gaia's eyes shined like diamonds. 'This was going to be fun.'

XX –

Two days later, Harry floated with Gaia above New Hope the name the Kryptonians and Tamaraneans had decided for their new home. Golden skinned humanoid flew through the air with the human-looking Kryptonians by their side.

Two massive cities made of stone and crystal cylinders stretched high into the sky thousands of miles apart from each other. Arches were interwoven between the pillars of each city. Boxy utilitarian buildings littered the lower levels of the city.

These were the cities of Kandor and Tamarus the greatest cities of Tamaran and Krypton.

It was decided by the ruling Councils of both cities that the high-class families would intermarry to strengthen bonds between the two races.

A Kryptonian by the name of Van-El and a Tamaranean by the name of Sun Fire were welcomed onto the Council of Gaia to speak for their respective races. Impressed with what the inhabitants of Gaia had. There were already talks about immigration between the two worlds, and a sharing of technology.

"I've decided," Gaia began, breaking Harry's gaze away from the planet below, the laughter of children still tickled his ears as they chased each other through the sky.

"Decided on?"

"The next race we should enlarge and the planet we should terraform."

"Who said you get to decide?"

Gaia gestured below them, "You chose the last one, so now it's my turn."

Harry released a breath, "Fine."

Gaia clapped her hands together bouncing in excitement, "Good, now, I was thinking the next to be enlarged should be the Martians. Their shapeshifting ability fascinates me. Although, I think we should put the white Martians and the green Martians on separate planets. They're living together now, but I don't need telepathy to sense the hostility between the two species."

Harry had noticed with the planets flourishing, Gaia seemed to gain more energy, and become younger. Her nature became more carefree.

"Fair enough, but what planet were you thinking of?"

Gaia pointed to an ice giant, one of the planets farthest away from the solar system sun.

"From what I understand, neither of the Martians species like fire, so I say we set the white Martians up on the moon of that world and give the green Martians the planet."

"The white Martians might think we're playing favorites. I've got to be honest, their war-like nature concerns me, but I can't in good conscience leave them shrunken."

"Calisto and the people of Gaia have agreed to work with the Tamaraneans and Kryptonians to create a police force that will keep law and order as stated by your contract. The Kryptonians have even agreed to learn some magic. I think being shrunken has opened their eyes to just how vulnerable they were even with the powers granted to them by the yellow sun."

She grabbed his arm, "Now let's go, I want to see if I can make a planet of ice habitable for some Martians."

Harry let himself be pulled towards the blue planet in the distance, a small smile on his face.
