(Chapter 11: The fight ends)
With one push of a button, a gigantic green beam launched from MechaGodzilla's chest, the blast being so powerful that it sent the large machine flying back, smashing into a hill...
Godzilla and Titanosaurus broke away, they were about to rush each other again, but they both seen the large beam coming towards them. Both titans dove to the water, trying to avoid it!
The beam slammed into the water, and a massive green mushroom cloud rocketed into the sky. Prior to this mushroom cloud, there was a blinding flash of green light that engulfed the entire island. Once the light faded, it was revealed that a small canyon had been made into the shallow shores of the island, a gigantic waterfall had been created with the waters of the South Pacific Ocean rapidly rushing down into the deep gorge.
Silence fell over the island with the exception of the howling wind, the rushing rain, and the roar of thunder in the sky above the island. Suddenly, Titanosaurus emerged out of the water, dragging a downed Godzilla.
It was revealed that the wound on Godzilla's chest had been deepened significantly, red flesh was exposed, lots of flesh and blood were dripping from the wound. The King of the Monsters weakly groaned as his aquatic foe dragged him back on the beach. The Oxygen Annihilator had missed them both, but the impact that the beam made upon connecting with the shallow water shore generated a strong shockwave that went into Godzilla's direction since Titanosaurus was first to move out of the way by mere seconds earlier.
"Bad news, Godzilla's radiation has dropped. His heart rate has slowed down to critical levels..." Kenny warned, sitting within the shack he took shelter under.
"What the world just happened?" Laura asked.
"It seems like the Oxygen Destroyer or something was used, we could very well be losing Godzilla this night..." Kenny responded, his voice filled with worry.
"We can't lose him, there has to be a way!" Madison exclaimed, her voice sounding arguably the most worried out of them all.
From within the cockpit of MechaGodzilla, Floyd was smiling deviously. This was a last ditch effort attack, and it worked to perfection. Godzilla was down, appeared to be dying at a slow and agonizing rate, and Titanosaurus was cackling at his defeat.
"So this is how it feels to dethrone a king.." Floyd said to himself as he controlled MechaGodzilla to slowly get back up, Titanosaurus bit down onto the back of Godzilla's neck, slamming his foot into the wound, making the King of the Monsters roar in pure agony.
Godzilla slowly tried to get back up only to get kicked in the wound again by Titanosaurus, forcing the titan king to spit out a large amount of blood that soaked the ground. This attack forced Godzilla to go tumbling down into the crater, the crater that was made when he crashed into the ground after his fall.
The shattered machine that was MechaGodzilla marched towards the crater, Floyd seen the broken body that was Godzilla laying all the way in the center of the crater, the lowest point of it.
Floyd locked on to the wound, made MechaGodzilla point his arm out with the railguns at the ready. The back unit had one slot for a rocket, but it was good enough to deal significant damage.
"You've reached your judgement day, Godzilla. Prepare for extinction." Floyd said coldly as he pressed the button to fire, what transpired next were the most agonizing moments of Godzilla's life up to that point in terms of physical pain.
Chunks of flesh were ripped from the chest wound of Godzilla, extreme amounts of blood was splattered everywhere, all over him. The charcoal grey body of the King of the Monsters was darkened with the crimson liquids, it was the most amount of pain that Godzilla had felt in centuries.
With each bit of flesh that was forcefully blown from his chest, his roars of pain turned into high pitched shrieks of agony. Nothing could compare to what came next though, a large rocket slammed into the deep wound. Godzilla cried in agony once more, a gaping hole had been put in his chest. So much so that the connective tissue of his ribcage had been revealed, on a patch of flesh on the chest, ripples were seen. Godzilla's heart could be seen beating...
The sadistic bastard known as Floyd relished this, seeing Godzilla's heart beating through his chest almost literally, made his eyes twinkle. Godzilla's vision began to fade now, he was dying, but his cries reached the location of Kenny, Laura, and Madison.
"He's gonna kill Godzilla if we don't do something!" Kenny exclaimed, going into panic mode, knowing that Godzilla doesn't have much time left before he is slain.
"We've got to think of something, and fast." Laura answered, her eyes directing themselves towards the ORCA in which was laying on a nearby bench.
Back at the battlefield, Floyd attempted to control MechaGodzilla to continue launching an assault on Godzilla's chest wound, but suddenly the gigantic machine stopped working. In the midst of his insane mind taking over his control, Floyd didn't realize that MechaGodzilla's energy reserves completely ran out.
"What? What the hell!?" Floyd screamed furiously, pounding his fists on the control panel in a fit of rage. He was wanting to finish Godzilla off so badly, but now he couldn't.
Titanosaurus took advantage, using his tail fan to send several large rocks on the downed body of the beaten Godzilla. Boulder after boulder, pieces of mountain rubble, and sediment, covered the king up. Godzilla wanted to fight so badly, but he was just too weak to continue. This was evident by the blue flicker in his dorsal plates.
Eventually, the only sign that Godzilla was buried under the rubble was a lone dorsal plate sticking out from the heap of rocks, sediment, and debris. It looked like some type of strange grave marker.
Titanosaurus walked down the downward slope to the center of the crater, slamming his tail down on the supposed "grave" of Godzilla, since the King of the Monsters was covered up in so much sediment, it didn't cause as much damage, but Godzilla still felt pain, evident by muffled cries of agony beneath the rocks.
Thunder roared over the island, as MechaGodzilla began to absorb the radiation that now surrounded most of the entire Eastern side of the island to charge up. Floyd was laughing wickedly, the others at the HQ of the Earth's Rightful Rulers were celebrating, throwing a victory party even.
The battle was over, or so it seemed. Godzilla was too weak to fight back, and was getting mercilessly pummeled on by an arrogant Titanosaurus.
Meanwhile on Monster Island, Kong stood at the top of Skull Mountain, his den. The mighty ape began to pound his chest furiously, he could telepathically sense what was going on with Godzilla at the PitCairn Islands.
Electric bolts crackled from his fists, he wasn't using his electric powers, but the ape was using so much of his built in telepathic power that it somehow channeled the lightning of the perpetual storm around his island.
Kong was then filled with a sudden burst of rage, and it caused him to rear his head into the sky, releasing his thundering howl of a roar into the heavens above. His roar echoed from the surface of the island to even down into the Hollow Earth, the ground shook, the mountains rattled. The clouds even parted some, but not a lot.
Back on the battlefield, the sky above the island suddenly roared with an extra amount of thunder. It was so loud that it made Floyd look out of MechaGodzilla in shock, even concern.
There was then a sudden high pitched screech coming from MechaGodzilla, one that caused Titanosaurus to cover up his sensitive ears. The aquatic titan shrieked in pain, stamping around, getting away from the pile of rubble covering up Godzilla.
"What's going on!?" Floyd screamed, covering up his own ears.
Surprisingly, Madison had found a way to turn MechaGodzilla into an ORCA device, it was Bluetooth compatible. All Maddie had to do was to connect to MechaGodzilla, and emit a high frequency sound in an attempt to stall Godzilla's death. It seemed to be working.
"I'm done with this..." Floyd growled, checking the energy gauge of MechaGodzilla on the control panel. It was only so much full, if he used another all out assault with his railguns and rockets, it would drain it all again.
MechaGodzilla then began to absorb the radiation that had been blown from Godzilla, the energy gauge began to fill up more than before now, at a rapid pace now. Floyd began to laugh uncontrollably, it was time to slay the King of the Monsters once and for all.
"I've got to finish this, I'VE GOT TO FINISH IT!" Floyd screamed, it sounded like he was going insane. Right when he screamed at the top of this lungs, a massive single bolt of lightning struck down on the lone dorsal plate, a massive blue explosion sent Titanosaurus flying to the ground with a thunderous boom.
Godzilla was in his "Ultra-Charged" state of power once again, snarling coldly at his opposition. His heart was still visibly seen beating violently within his chest, his ribcage was still exposed.
The King of the Monsters turned his head towards Titanosaurus, growling at the aquatic titan. It turned out that the mind control device connected to Titanosaurus had been destroyed with the atomic pulse, now the aquatic dinosaur could think for his own.
Titanosaurus was scared to death at the sight of Godzilla, remembering who the King of the Monsters was, the aquatic titan bowed his head, retreating into the Pacific Ocean to have Godzilla and MechaGodzilla fight.
Godzilla began to get a running start, MechaGodzilla aimed one arm up at the King of the Monsters. The mouth of the large machine opened, the back unit prepared to fire another rocket.
A deafening roar of gunfire rang out, Godzilla figured that his mechanical doppelganger would go for the exposed chest, so he gave his body a forward lean so he would make it difficult.
Godzilla roared as the gunfire connected with his body, railgun fire, the rocket slammed down on his shoulder. The maser beam struck his arm, and this all out assault continued non-stop for several seconds as the Big G rushed at his enemy. Fire engulfed the titan king, including several amounts of land. A gigantic wall of flame engulfed Godzilla, but the king barged right through. His massive silhouette was seen rushing through the fire.
Floyd was in shock at the sight of Godzilla's flaming charge, none that he was doing was dealing damage to Godzilla. Seconds later, the Big G slammed into MechaGodzilla, clawing viciously at his chest over and over again. The King of the Monsters delivering a barrage of strikes into his enemy, pouring all of his wrath into each clawing blow.
Floyd could see Godzilla up close through the large shattered window that was MechaGodzilla's missing eye, he realized that he couldn't handle the pressure. It was time to set MechaGodzilla on autopilot, his eyes then noticed an "eject" button on the control panel. Floyd fastened himself to the seat, and with a press of the button, the entire head of MechaGodzilla blown to pieces with the seat flying high into the air, Godzilla didn't notice as he was partially stunned by the blast.
As the crumbling pieces of MechaGodzilla's head fell to the Earth, Godzilla looked up to see a spherical shaped computer apparatus was all that was left. The King of the Monsters looked confused, was this machine still capable of working?
Godzilla made his approach only to be temporarily blinded by the apparatus as it unleashed a blinding light attack, it was once the eye beams, but now that the head was removed, it was shown where the light really came from, it was from this apparatus.
Godzilla growled, but felt like victory was right around the corner for him, and indeed it was. He began to channel his energy from his spines into his body, the hum of radiation intensified quickly, the King of the Monsters aimed his arms out towards the machine with a mighty roar, firing the atomic pulse from his "Ultra-Charged" state of power.
The massive surge of radiation devastated MechaGodzilla, frying the apparatus. However, the metallic doppelganger didn't fall to the ground. It remained standing, however, the massive machine was twitching, the apparatus had been ruined to a charred ball. MechaGodzilla was powerless now, finally, it was time to destroy the doppelganger at last.
Godzilla walked towards his enemy, grabbing hold of the charred apparatus, squeezing tightly. The spherical computer shattered, leaving a hole where it once was. The King of the Monsters then reached his hand inside of the hole, beginning to pry the machine in half. However, he wasn't done yet.
The hum of radiation filled the air as it traveled up his jagged spines, reaching a peak intensity once it got to his head, his eyes flashed blue as he then unleashed his atomic breath inside of the machine with it being pried open just enough, giving his mechanical doppelganger the kiss of death...
The atomic ray turned everything inside of the machine to dust, decimating the controls, motherboards, and any other technologically advanced machinery within seconds. It was then that the entire machine stopped twitching, and burst into a great ball of fire.
The thunderstorm began to subside, and eventually faded away into complete silence, the sounds of thunder grew fainter, and softer as the storm traveled away from the PitCairn Islands.
When morning came around, Kenny, Laura, and Madison had reached the opposite end of the island. Those soldiers that had crashed the osprey into the ocean couldn't make it back up, and were unfortunately swept away by the waves.
Dust choked the island, still lingering in the air from the night before when the massive battle took place. As the sun began to rise, it cast a red shine on the island, and a red haze thanks to the lingering amounts of dust.
The three heroes stopped in their tracks as Godzilla rose back up to his feet, gazing around at his surroundings. All of the blood, chunks of flesh, machinery, charred remains of Godzilla, it was one hell of a battle he went through, and loads of punishment, so much so that he even passed out after delivering the final blow to the GDF's MechaGodzilla.
He realized that he had won, and as he began to head back out in to the Pacific Ocean, he reared his head into the sky and let out a triumphant roar before vanishing beneath the waves. He would have to endure a long time of healing, taking in radiation from the vents at the bottom of the Ocean, it would take years to get back to full health. The King of the Monsters only hoped that no more serious threats would harm the Earth that wouldn't require his help. A helicopter had taken a complete video of the titan king as he performed his victory roar to the heavens.
Kenny, Laura, and Madison all watched on as Godzilla's dorsal plates went out of sight, and an eerie yet peaceful calmness took over the air. The sun was out, and with a fresh breeze, the dust was cleared away. Peace was restored on Earth once again...
(Epilogue)
(Outpost 04)
"Hey, Vergil. You aren't going to believe what this chopper caught on the cams!" Sam Brody exclaimed, a sluggish Vergil Snow woke up from his nap.
"What is it?" Vergil groaned, rubbing his eyes before stretching out to prepare for the new day ahead of the two.
"It's Godzilla." Carson Michaels answered with a smile, entering the room.
"Godzilla? Is something going on?" Vergil asked, sounding concerned as he sat at the edge of his bed.
"Nope, he defeated another threat that harmed this planet. Here's the picture." Sam said, showing the screenshot of Godzilla roaring into the sky at the PitCairn Islands.
"Wow, what an excellent picture!" Carson complimented, Vergil grinned along with a nod of his head in agreement to Carson.
"It is indeed..." Vergil said as he got up.
"Just thought I would show you that, Laura sent me a text. She said for all three of us to be down in the training wing." Sam responded with a smile, ready to conquer the day by training some more with their mentors.
Carson was already outside of the door, completely dressed, and so was Sam Brody.
Vergil took a bit to get himself ready, but the other two partners of his were incredibly patient. They would all have time to get ready, a helicopter had been sent to retrieve Kenny, Laura, and Madison just now. It would take a while for them to get back to the facility.
Once Vergil was dressed out properly for the training wing, he left out of his dorm to meet his two allies. The three began to walk down the hall, Sam and Carson spoke to each other while Vergil remained silent.
The three would come out to an open area, a food court. There was a large banner of Godzilla hanging over the food court, a screen capture from his victory over the MUTOS in 2014 that happened in the exact same state that they were in.
Vergil remembered seeing him roaring all of those years ago on the news, when he was much much younger, still a little kid. He remembered how epic it was to him, it was something unlike anything he ever seen before. Over the years he had gained respect for Godzilla, and even more respect once he joined Monarch not too long ago.
Seeing the banner took him back to that moment, when he was a young child. Fantasizing over the epic battles that Godzilla could face in the future, thinking about how much more of these large beasts existed, it was nostalgic for him. A smile spread across Vergil's lips as he then went on to say:
"Godzilla, truly a god incarnate..."

A/N: Hey everyone, KaijuCrazy02 here (formerly Calebshane1219!) and I've got to say a few things. Writing this series has been an amazing trip for me. When I wrote Godzilla vs Kong (fan-made) in 2017, I wasn't expecting it to get as many views as it did. I'm still surprised and impressed.
Now I have wrote a total of TEN STORIES on this site when it comes to my Custom Monsterverse, and that is only Phase 1 of this series being concluded as of 12/15/2020...
I have many more phases planned, many more story ideas already made up in my mind. However, I do think it is time for me to take a break from writing this series for now. I'm going to work on other projects on this site.
During the three total years that this universe has existed on this site, it garnered hundreds upon thousands of views. It has gotten several reviews, overwhelmingly the reviews are good, I can only remember one or two reviews that seemed a bit negative. This series has gotten several follows and favorites, and I'm pretty sure I am on the favorite author's list of a good few people now. I've got to say thank you to all of those people, to the people who were loyal followers of this series and have been reading it through since the very beginning, or those that are just joining in on the journey, thank you greatly.
I want to thank those who have messaged me ideas on future stories, what to do with characters, etc.
During the time of wait, I suggest you go back to the beginning and read through the stories from start to finish of this current phase. For new readers of this series, it will give them a good idea on how this Custom Monsterverse works.
With this story finishing, Phase 1 comes to an end. Keep an eye out in the future for the next phase, I don't truly know when that will be if I'm being honest. Feel free to continue to send me ideas, stories, characters, etc. If not, that is okay. This has been a blast, I hope you enjoyed the first phase of my Custom Monsterverse!- KaijuCrazy02
