Now this is quite a sudden slump from the climax of the previous event. Needless to say, a lot happened between the two scenes that the 14-year-old me neglected to write. :((

Context: This happened a long time after Sinica was released from the Black Knights. She and Suzaku became very close ;). This scene is a conversation between the two of them. The first one to speak is Sinica.

The pale white moon shone brightly against the backdrop of a dark sky strewn with stars. It was full, large as any Sinica had seen. Could the location relative to the equator have any effect as to how the moon is projected throughout the planet, or she had she simply failed to notice the beauty of the open night sky before? Sinica pondered upon this when someone knocked on her door.

You took your time becoming one of the Rounds.

I'd achieved more than I ever thought I would.

Nah, you were meant for it, Suzaku. You're Lancelot after all.

Yes, he's a superb machine.

No, I know that. I'm talking about Sir Lancelot, chief among King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table.

Interesting.

You don't know that?

They might have tackled it in class, while I was absent, I suppose.

In class? King Arthur is popular legend! He's the ideal monarch. Might for Right. How can you possibly not know about his story?

He might be popular in Britannia, but not in Japan. We have our own legends and stories.

Well you leave me no choice. I have to acquaint you to King Arthur.

Well, I guess I have no choice but to listen.

Yes, it's a royal decree.

Wonderful.

I am. King Arthur of the Court of Camelot, son of Uther Pendragon, King of the Britons, Defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of All England.

He's a lot of things.

Sh. Don't interrupt me. It was King Arthur who first realized the Code of Chivalry, which honorable knights are bound to obey. Lawlessness and belligerence was once uptick in the England of old, poor farmers and serfs fell to the might and abuse of feudal lords, and there were senseless killings, rape and marauding. King Arthur, who above all desires to bring peace and prosperity to his subjects, formed a brotherhood composed of the best knights in the kingdom, who shall serve as his instruments to carry out his deeds. These knights vanquished the offenders, saved and protected the helpless, lent support to the needy. These knights formed the Knights of the Round Table. And as you would have guessed, Sir Lancelot is the best among them. So it is only fitting for you to be part of the Rounds, because you are Lancelot.

And Lamorak?

Good of you to ask. Three were considered to be the most formidable knights in the Round Table: Sir Lancelot, Sir Lamorak, and Sir Tristam.

Yours and Gino's knightmares. Well, that just shows myth is indeed far from reality.

Are you doubting my capabilities?

No. I'm doubting mine. After all, I can hardly beat you.

Well, I suppose I little twist in the story is acceptable.

End notes: Yes, I used to be a fan of Monty Python and the Holy Grail HAHA. I also read T.H White's Once and Future King, which was my inspiration for writing this scene.
