The Misadventures of Caulifla and Kale: Episode Twenty-One- "Kale and the Slime Monster"
Space, Hit's "Borrowed" Ship (The next day)
Kale is in the bedroom, taking a sleep. She wakes up, after the alarm turns on. She turns it off, gets out of bed, stretches for a while, and walks to the bathroom to clean up. She gets into the shower to take a hot clean one. The hot water is so clean and soothing on her body. Kale really needed that shower. She gets out of the shower, dries herself off, and changes into her normal clothing. She brushes her teeth and leaves the bathroom. She goes to the kitchen to see if there's any food to eat. Only two bags of instant meals are in the fridge. This disappoints Kale, since she thought that Hit would have a large supply of food for her. She grabs the breakfast meal bag and follows the instructions. She follows the instructions really well and waits five minutes for the meal to be done. She pulls the meal out of the microwave and sees a plate of scramble eggs, bacon, hash-browns, and one chocolate chip cookie. She puts the meal on the table, grabs a chair and begins eating. Berserker comes in consciously and talks to Kale of what's their next step.
Berserker: (So...What's the next step, when we do get to Planet Sadala?)
Kale: I don't know. I'll try to find Janet and tell her that the master is heading to the planet, getting ready to begin her plan. Then I have to get Cabba and show me where Caulifla is. I don't know, if me and her will be enough to defeat this master. (Makes a sad expression, while looking at her meal) It's been a while since we worked together.
Berserker: (It's okay! At least you got me! I'm stronger than her and we can communicate well enough. Everything will be fine!)
Kale: Thanks, but I don't think that you'll be strong enough to beat the master on your own. We need to practice on how we approach the issue carefully and- (Hears a sound in the hallway) What was that?
Kale hears a sound in the hallway. She leaves the table and walks into the hallways. She can't see that much in the hallway, so she slowly turns on the lights. When she does that, she sees nothing. She thinks that the sound was just in her head. She walks back to the table, only to see her food completely gone. She makes a surprising expression, knowing that she was barely done with her breakfast. Kale later sees a trail of green slime on the floor. She walks to the trail, feels it with her foot, and notices that it's warm. Something must have ate her breakfast and is still on the ship. Maybe Hit should had told her about any intruders in the ship, before leaving the planet. Kale walks down another hallway to see what the intruder is. She follows the trial of slime into the same bedroom that she was just in moments ago. She opens the door and walks into the room. She sees a switch and turns on the lights. After doing that, Kale sees a green blob on the bed. It has two black dots as eyes and a mouth that's a part of the creature's anatomy. The creature sees Kale and backs up.
?: Grrr… (Gets back)
Kale: Why is a green blob doing on the ship!? (Points at the green blob)
?: GRRR! (Speeds to Kale and jumps on her face)
Kale: UGH! (Tries to pull the blob off of her face, but fails) Stop! I'm not going to hurt you! (Walks backwards out of the room)
Berserker: (That thing is attacking you! Attack it back!)
Kale: No! I can't! I think that the creature is lonely and is afraid that I might hurt it!
Berserker: (Grr.. Well. At least let me out, so that I can get it off of you!)
Kale: Okay! (Changes into Berserker)
Berserker: (Pulls the blob off of her face and throws it back to the room) There! It's off (Transforms back to Kale)
Kale: (Slowly opens the door and sees the blob crying) Berserker. You hurt it.
Berserker: (So! It attacked you! What was I suppose to do!? Hug it!?)
Kale: Maybe I should use my thinking to good use. (Walks in the room and gets to the blob's level) There, there! I didn't mean to do that. (Hugs the blob) You're lonely and hungry, right?
?: (Looks at Kale) Purr! Purr! (Nods)
Kale: I don't know how you got here, but I do know that eating my food is wrong. I have a limited supply of food. (Rubs her chin) How am I suppose to get more food?
?: (Gets off of Kale and slides to the controls room)
Kale: Hey! Wait! (Gets up and follows the blob) Where are you going?!
Kale runs to the blob, knowing what's he doing. When she and the blob arrive at the controls room, the blob points to the computer. Kale remembers the computer being a source for searching for certain information. The blob has been on the ship for so long that he knows the places of the ship. She walks to the computer and types in, "Search for near by food resources." The computer shows three planets that are near and two of them Kale knows or heard of. She knows Planet Cafe, being the planetary food area and has heard of Planet Soup, being the one with most soup related food. The third planet that popped up was something different to Kale. Planet Sugga is a planet with sugar-related food items. She really needs something sweet in the morning, since she didn't get the chance to eat her chocolate chip cookie. No thanks to the hungry green blob. She decides to go the Planet Sugga and eat there. She gives the ship a new destination and it heads to the direction the sugary planet. Kale hugs the blob in her arms and decides to name it Gummy, because he looks like a cute gummy creature.
Planet Sadala, Headquarters
While Cabba, Romaine, and Claudia do their training for the upcoming battle, Janet is working on new battle equipment for it. She has already made some bombs that trap individuals in a sticky pile, some guns that shot destabilizing darts, and googles that can detect invisible enemies. While she's researching on a new equipment, Janet hears a voice in her head. She stops working and looks around the room. The voice has this dark, menacing tone to it. It sounds like it means business and it doesn't want to be ignored. Janet thinks that the voice is in her head, due to the hard work that she's doing, but when she feels the collar of her shirt being lifted up, her body gets carried to the ceiling. Her head hits it, but doesn't leave her with too much pain. She's confused of why she's floating over her chair, yet the voice comes back with a strange question.
?: Where is the girl?
Janet: W-Where is the girl?
?: Don't you (bleep)-ing repeat of what I said! I want to know where she is, so that I can kill her and finish my job! Now… (Drops Janet) Where's the DAMN girl!?
Janet: (Slowly gets up) I don't know what you're talking about! Leave me alone!
?: If you don't answer my question…, then I'll just have to kill one of your members!
Janet: (raises her eyebrow) What members are you talking about? Who!?
?: The one that I'm referring to is the one that's the most valuable to you! I'll kill him, if you don't answer my question!
Janet: (What is it talking abo- Oh my god! No!) Don't hurt Limo! I'll tell you where she is, but give me some more information! Please!
?: Fine! She's hiding somewhere, but I don't know where she is! I feel like she's coming to your destination, as I speak.
Janet: (Makes a surprising expression) Kale? Why is she coming here!? I told her to stay in Planet Goliath!
?: That's not the one that I'm talking about...Think again!
?: Janet! Are you there?
Janet: (Feels some large footsteps) Limo?
?: Damn! I'd only had this time to do it! Until we meet again, bitch!
Janet: (Looks around the room) No! Come back! What do you want!? I'll kill you! You won't get your hands on him! (Runs to the other side)
Janet runs to the other side of the lab, in a fear like reaction. She's scared that the only member in her science program is going to be involved in this master's plan situation. She runs out of the lab, only to bump into something soft. She falls to the floor, but not hurt. She gets up, seeing a large saiyan with a yellow outfit under his saiyan armor. His hair is black, shaggy, and his eyes are also black. He looks at Janet with a worried expression
?: J-Janet! I-I'm sorry that I was in the way! I heard you yelling and I thought that you need help!
Janet: (Looks at the large saiyan) It's okay, Limo. I'm fine. I just need a break from work for a minute.
Limo: Oh! That's a relief! Do you want some water?
Janet: No. I have something that you can do. Can you check on Cabba and tell him to come to the lab?
Limo: (Nods)
Janet: (smiles) Good. I knew that I can trust you to do a single objective. Like always.
Limo walks away from Janet, making some earthquake like footsteps along the way. Janet is proud to have him as a member, but fears that the voice or whoever it was that spoke to her might come and kill him. She has to make sure that he's safe and that master is taken take of. She walks back to the lab, ready to start on another equipment for the battle.
Space, Hit's "Borrowed" Ship (Thirty minutes later)
After coming back from Planet Sugga, Kale and Gummy sit on the table eating their sweet meal. Kale has a big sundae with chocolate chips, caramel sauce, and cherries. Gummy has a small ice cream sundae with just sprinkles and whipped cream. In the fridge, there are lots of giant chocolate chip cookies, ice cream sandwiches, juices, and sodas to last a good amount of time on the ship. Kale looks at the creature, who has a sad look. She's confused of why the creature would be sad to eat some sundae. She'll know about it, after the meal is done. Afterwards, the two finish eating their meal and go to the bedroom to relax. Kale transforms into her Berserker form and lays on the bed on her back. She needs to control her Berserker form both mentally and physically for the battle. Gummy gets on the bed and cuddles next to Kale. It soon notice that she has a new look. This terrifies it and it slide off of the bed. Kale hears this and looks at Gummy, who goes under the bed.
Kale: Gummy? What's the problem? (Gets off the bed and kneels) Is it because of how I look? (Looks under the bed) There's no need to worry! I'm not going to hurt you!
Gummy: (Whimpers)
Kale: Gummy…
Berserker: (Kale. It's afraid of me. Is it?)
Kale: No. It's afraid of something else. It can't feel pain, but it can on the inside. (Puts her hand under the bed and lifts it up) Gummy!
Gummy: (Looks at Kale, shaking in fear)
Kale: You don't have to be scared! You're not afraid of me! Right?
Gummy: (Slides close to Kale and nods)
Kale: See, Berserker. It's not afraid of me or you. It's something els- (Feels the ship move) Wha!
Gummy: EEEKK! (Jumps on Kale's stomach)
Kale: (Looks at Gummy on her stomach) Gummy! C-Calm down!
(Ships stops moving)
Kale: Whew! It stopped moving. (Sees Gummy get closer to her breast) It's okay! There's nothing to be scared abou- (Hears a screeching sound)
Gummy: EEEEKKK! (Shakes in fear, before crawling into Kale's mouth)
Kale: (Cheeks enlarges) Whoa!
Berserker: (Hey! That thing is inside of your mouth! Spit it out!)
Kale: (No! I have to know what's going on first! Why did the ship move? What was that sound? I have to check it out, before…) (Feels Gummy go down her throat) (Oh no! He didn't!)
Kale looks at a near by mirror and is shocked to see her stomach so bloated. Gummy must had got down her throat, after being too scared of the noise. Kale pats her bloated stomach, saying to Gummy that everything is going to be fine. She walks out of the room to investigate on the mysterious sound. While she's walking, her stomach wobbles and gurgles. This is weird for her to hear Gummy in her stomach, but she has to keep him safe from whatever is attacking the ship. She gets to the kitchen and sees nothing. She later on walks to the living room and sees nothing. She doesn't see the intruder that made the mysterious sound. She hear the sound again, for which scared Gummy. Kale's stomach vibrates and gurgles, due to this. She places her hand on her enlarged stomach, calming down Gummy. She turns to one of the windows and sees a green slime float across it. Kale thinks that there's another slime creature on the ship. "Maybe the creature might be Gummy's relatives" are Kale's thoughts, as she goes to the controls room. Without her noticing, an abstract figure with a green tone walks slowly behind her. When Kale arrives at the controls room, she sees the controls covered in green slime. She's thinking that the creature is scaring her, so that she can give up Gummy. She hears a wet sound that quickly notifies her. She turns around and sees a figure.
Kale: (Raises her eyebrow) Is that the intruder? He or she is a good stealth person. I didn't see or hear them coming.
Gummy: (Shake in fear in Kale's stomach)
Kale: (Looks at her stomach) It's okay, Gummy. It's one of your relatives. I'll talk to them. Hey! (Looks at the figure)
Figure: (You...You have something that belongs to me!)
Kale: Yes! (Points to her enlarged stomach) Gummy is one of your relatives, right?
Figure: (Gummy? Yes. He's my son. He left, after I…) (Looks away)
Kale: (Oh! That's why Gummy was scared of me in my Berserker form. The mother or father must have treated him wrong.) It's okay! Gummy is not hurt. (Pats her stomach) He's in here!
Figure: (Walks to Kale) (Good! Because I'm going to cut open your stomach and get my son back!) (Pulls out a knife) (Now come here!)
Kale: (Hold out her hands) Whoa! I-I don't think that you should do that! I can spit him out! (Looks at her stomach) Gummy!? Come out!
Gummy: (Shakes in fear in Kale's stomach)
Kale: Gummy! (Looks at the green figure getting closer to her) Crap!
Gummy: (No! I have to protect my new friend!) (Enlarges Kale's stomach)
Kale: Wha- Whoa! What are you doing, Gummy!? (Arms, hands, cheeks, and legs expand to inflated proportions)
Figure: (Stops to see Kale inflate) (My son is fighting against me? Why!? I'm here to bring him back! Does he want to come back!?)
Kale: (Stops inflating, looks at her body) What!? I look like a parade float! Gummy! (Looks at her now bigger stomach)
Gummy: (You're not taking my new friend away from me!) (Moves Kale to belly bump the green figure)
Kale: Whoa! (Hits the figure and gets bounce back to the controls) Gummy's controlling me!? (Bounces off the controls and stops)
Figure: (Gets up of the floor) (Oh...Both of you are dead! I'll cut you up and take my son. One way...or the other!) (Runs to Kale)
Kale: (Oh damn!) (Punches the figure in the face and runs out of the controls room) We have to get out of here!
Kale runs to the nearest escape pods and tries to get Gummy out of her. Her body feels so soft, due to Gummy enlarging himself in her. The figure sees her and runs to her. The figure wants Gummy and will do anything to get him back, even if that means that it has to kill Kale for it. Kale doesn't see the escape pad. This means that the ship doesn't have any escape pads to use. Kale looks at her enlarged stomach and yells at Gummy to come out of her body. Gummy just shakes in fear, while shaking Kale's stomach like it's a balloon. Kale has to get him out of there and settle the situation. The figure gets up to them and stabs Kale's back. She feels the pain and quickly punches the figure in the face. She runs out of the hallway and to the living room. Gummy knows that he left home for a reason: His father was being mean to him. He just wants to be loved by him, not be abused my him. Gummy understands that Kale is a kind person and is capable of taking things on her own. He shrinks Kale back to normal (Except for her stomach), and come back out through her mouth. Kale's lips are covered in green slime. She looks at Gummy, who has a serious look in his eyes. The figure come back and sees his son out of Kale's body.
Figure: (Looks at Gummy) (Son?!)
Gummy: (Nods to his father)
Gummy's Father: (I-I'm sorry for treating you so poorly. Your mother figured out that you ran away and I was the one that made you do it. I want you to learn how to be your own person, while me and mom do our business.) (Walks to his son and hugs him) (Will you ever forgive me?)
Gummy: (Hugs his father and nods)
Gummy's Father: (T-Thank you, son!) (Looks at Kale) (Thank you for watching over my son! I'm sorry for trying to cut you open.)
Kale: (looks at Gummy's Father) No problem!
Gummy's Father: (Looks at his son, smiling) (Come, son. Your mother is waiting for us.)
Gummy: (Slides to Kale and hugs her legs)
Kale: (Looks at Gummy, smiling) Bye, Gummy. Hope that we meet again!
After that, Gummy and his father leave the ship and head back to their planet. Kale transforms back to normal and wipes the green slime off of her lips. She thinks that she did a good job being in that form. She grabs a mop, a bucket, and some soap to clean the controls room.
The end!
Notes- Episodes Twenty two will be a flashback episode about how Caulifla and Kale came to be. I might have to put this story into two parts or not. Thanks for reading this story!
